I was helped by the newly appointed manager and i couldn’t be more happy with all the help he gave me. We had a very challenging color match and he was a champ in helping me across the finish line on my build!

We went to the store with a general idea of what we wanted, but we still needed a little advice. Jay was the effing man. He had so much insight and pointers that it made us feel confident in our DIY task. Ultimately, Jay made the overall experience enjoyable and I felt confident In my project after a few pointers. If you still have a few questions about your project you should ask for Jay.

I had an exceptional experience here! Top notch paints and top notch service. An employee at this location by the name of Jay assisted me on my selection of paints. He definitely has an eye for the chromatic and achromatic spectrum. I came into the store not know exactly what color would compliment my dining room that is painted a cool grey. Mr. Jay, in a flash, directed me to some beautiful colors I quite pleased with. I ended up buying 2 gallons of the two colors he showed me. I couldn’t decide! I plan to use both paint colors! Thank you for the pleasant and easy shopping experience!

Always been pleased with quality of products and knowledge of employees. Today was last day they were accepting walk-in customers because of virus concerns. I asked if they could give me drive-up service and they did. Excellent service: products were all in box waiting for me to pick up at front door of business. Plus they answered all my paint questions over the phone.

Five stars indeed! Service is always stellar and is available to answer my many, many questions, knowledgeably. Roosters staff (Joe, Jennifer, the other great guy (he did my paint the last time), Mr. Dwight(paint this time), and the new-new guy) are all top notch! Please check them in action and enjoy the excellent service. Theyre an impressive bunch

Awesome. They had records of when my dad bought his paint back in 2009. Even though the paint pigments had been discontinued, they were able to match it with a current a current product for a perfect match. Excellent quality and outstanding customer service.

I am beyond satisfied with the customer service at this store. Both of the young men here were incredibly knowledgeable, and I do have to give a shout out to Tyler, who even my husband liked, which really says something. I wish I could give more than five stars for this place. Come in, and be nice, and get AMAZING service!

My husband and I bought a house that needed to be completely re-painted. Everything. It was kind of daunting. Were still not done. This place has been taking care of us through all of those weekend projects. I shopped around before picking this place. They will leave you alone if you just want to stare at paint chips for hours. They will help you quickly if you know what you want. They will help you figure out what you need if you dont know what that is! Lol. They answer all of our paint related questions patiently. When we buy a lot of paint they even carry it to our car for us. They have a file for us in their computer system and know all the colors weve picked out for our house, what room it was used in, all that, making it very convenient to go get more paint. Its a little bit of a drive for us to get here from our house, but its very worth it.

Great place--until I met the associate manager. Wish I could have caught his name (young guy with glasses), because he was less than accommodating when I had a batch problem with my BM Advance paint. (Sadly, this was after I had dropped nearly $200 in material at their store.)Such a disappointment, because I had the polar opposite experience when I bought the paint. Jessica and Dwight were absolutely wonderful, knowledgable, and extremely professional--sharing personal recommendations on the specific type of project I was working on. Their recommendations for rollers and BM Advance Primer were top notch, too, going beautifully onto my wood.Unfortunately, when it came to my 2 gallons of BM Advance paint, I could NOT get it to go on my cabinets without air bubbles everywhere. I attempted 3 different types of rollers, my Purdy brush...nothing worked. Note: Before my project, I sanded properly, used tack cloth, stirred the paints slowly with a wooden stick, even let it sit in a can for 2 days. Still--bubbles everywhere. Now Im no master painter, but Im no rookie either. So logically, when I opened the second gallon of paint and noticed the same absorbent amount of air bubbles in it, I knew it was something with the paint or batch itself.I called up the store and they recommended bringing the paint back so they could examine it. Fair enough. They did a stick test (dipping a stick in and out of the can) on the paint and saw that it had an unusual amount of air bubbles, commenting that theyd never seen that before and its likely a mishap in the batch itself.Enter assistant manager. While the team was on the phone with Benjamin Moore to inform them of the batch problem, I asked the manager if I could get a replacement of my (clearly faulty) paint so I could get on with my home project. He very nonchalantly said no--that they would not be able to issue two replacement gallons--until they had concluded for certain that it was an issue with the gallons via vigorous testing. This would not be done until this weekend, requiring me to make yet another trip out to Roosters. He did not seem to have a problem with this solution.Unfortunately, I did--for two reasons. #1. This store is not around the corner from me--but rather very far. I planned my day around my initial trip out to Roosters, (and that was assuming I would not be making a second and third trip back.)#2. I needed the paint ASAP to finish touching up my kitchen chairs, since I was hosting guests the following week. I informed the manager of this. His response? Paint takes 3 weeks to fully cure. You shouldnt be having your guests sit on those chairs anyway.I am sorry, but did I come to your store for timeline advice on when I should complete my home projects, or did I come to your store to purchase paint? Paint, of which, I should successfully be able to use?I work in management myself, and honestly, the lack of customer empathy/desire to find a better solution here left me stunned. Though he did explain that because theyre a Mom and Pop shop, they cant go giving away $100 paint for free. Unfortunately, the lifetime value of a customer is worth way more than $100, which will sadly cost Roosters more in the end.I did end up getting a refund for my two faulty gallons, but not without a major headache, and also not before he reminded me that if I get my paint from Sherwin Williams, the primer which I had painted all of my cabinets with would not work with anything other than BM Advance.Ill get BM Advance again, but not from Roosters! What a headache. And such a shame that one person can ruin the whole experience.
