Came for a quick visit here but staff was professional and helpful. Store is very clean and organized. Manager here is very helpful and takes care of the customers very well. Price are also fine. Would recommend.

I will say the store is great but the neighborhood is a different story. I fell bad for the employees but I will say the employees do there best. I checked out fast and polite. Thank you 💜

Well stocked, friendly staff, allows pets to enter store without any problems. Restrooms available with staff assistance in unlocking the security door via numeric combination. Cleanliness is always a plus for a grocery store

Some items are higher in price than other grocery stores but its small and I can get in/out quickly and I know where everything is. Guess we pay for that convenience. The cashiers are friendly. Maybe the extra in the name means extra costs. 😉 All the carts are always in the parking lot so youd better grab one on your way in.

Good store. A few products were sold out. But stuff is sold out at other stores all the time! I got a good vibe.

Very large selection. They have great prices and all the employees are very friendly and helpful, they have a surprisingly excellent selection in the meat department, the frozen food section is pretty large lots of things too buy, the alcohol selection is pretty large its right near the soda section lots of different sodas one thing too note there is no public restroom, the aisles are kinda cramped but wide enough for two carts theres a good selection of baked goods but no bakery, checkers are fast but not a lot of lanes are open, covid regulations are in effect so you need too wear a mask

It was more grocery store than other grocery stores. Very grocery. The man out front with the megaphone was an interesting touch, but he wasnt part of the store, just adjacent. He was everything youd think a drunk man with a megaphone would be.

My first time there. Staff was super super helpful. I was buying sauce containers and the lids they had left were a different brand. Cashier called I guess the super to ask her. She ended up just opening another bag to make sure they fit before I left. Kudos.

I wanted a box of Otis Muffins. I found the one I wanted but the box had 2 missing. An employee from the produce dept. went to the back to see if they had more but they didnt.. so he gave me that case for half off! He really went out of his way to help me because the bakery wasnt his area. Thank you young man

This place is odly laid out. And they had been picked thro it was the first. As a mom of 4 and 7 pople in are house I enjoy this store and costco get more for your buck

Found the pork cushion meat I was looking for when they were out of stock at other locations. Was clean and otherwise well stocked with additional items I needed.

This place is good for most items I needed,but there is very little variety for the vegan selections.

The prices are a little high and not a very large selection of meat..

I love Smart & Final for their products and prices, but this location is horrible. Too many beggars. Theres always some religious zealot with a megaphone. I wish there was another Smart & Final in the Natomas area.

I wish the items showing as available on the website for this store were actually in the store. On a positive note, Isavel is an awesome cashier. Always quick and friendly during checkout.

First time shopping at Smart and Final and it was very awesome! They have great prices and they carry bulk food, which some stores i go to don’t. Also I like to mention, the cashier named Paul, he’s always smiling and has great customer service. He knows how to talk to customers and make sure they leave happy (from what i seen). I recommend this Smart and Final to everyone that shops.

The store was being remodled at the time I was there but still had plenty in stock. Employees were friendly and helpful.

One of the best experience I have had at a grocery store. Huge variety, really good prices and very well organized. The good thing i like about this place it that u can buy bulk as well as in small quantities.

I have always loved smart and final. I always have a great shopping experience. However lately not so much. I unfortunately had to go to the bathroom on 06/28/2017. There were only two stalls which was fine however one was out of order and the other was dirty with no tissue and no seat covers. I looked in the other one that was out of order just to see if maybe there was tissue there. There was not and it was nasty. Even though the toilet was bad they could have sprayed it or something. And why in hell cant a major company like this get a plumber out there? When I went and told the supervisor he looked like a deer caught in the headlights. He did apologize however when I came back the next day because I working at the fireworks stand conditions werent much better. Still no seat covers but at least there was tissue. The other stall was still not repaired. Just call me disappointed in a beloved company 😣

Update: Lyly(manager) reached out and after hearing about the issue was helpful in bringing in the product(s) that we needed. She’s been a great help.The management at this location is bad. I love Smart and Final and never have any disappointments at the other 6 locations I visit but the store on Northgate is the closest in proximity to me and I have to go visit the other locations because this one chooses not to carry the items I buy weekly. They used to carry it but discontinued it. All the other locations still carry it/them just not here. Ive been shopping here since the day they opened. The first managers(Alex, Donte, Rex etc..) were awesome, the current ones not so much. Talking to the employees and ex employees who left to different stores they agree..

Many items arent the same when you are shopping online or looking on line and when you go to shop in the store they arent there

NO BLIND PEOPLE ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY!!! The manager, and employees tried to kill me. They need to turn themselves in!!! They separated me from my guide, and escorted me off the property. They wouldnt tell my guide where they took me. So he went home, and had the fire, and police department find, and rescue me.

Love this store always clean

My family and I are regular customers in this store. Most of the time they have good friendly customer service and I enjoy going here. Yet, today I was highly disappointed. I was there around 11:30AM, had 16 things in my cart. There were two cashier registers open one had a big line and the other had one customer that the lady was serving. When I started putting my things out of my cart she said that she can only take 10 items not more, I had to put all the things back into my cart. There was no more customers for her to serve and she refused to serve me. She had no name tag and was very unfriendly. I asked another worker what is her name I was told its Brandy she was on register 4. When I moved over to the other line, the manager came out and said to go over to the other line (back to Brandy) I refused; I did not want to go back to her. But while I was standing in the other line other customers were being served by Brandy on register 4 that had over 20 items in their carts. Please train your employees to behave in a professional manner and treat everyone equally. Because after this accident I dont even want to go back to this store. I am very disappointed with this very unprofessional employee of yours. Thank you.

The produce and the merchandise are excellent. The employees are friendly and helpful. I believe the price is a little high. But you get what you pay for.

The store was busy and crowded as well. It was well organized and neat. I had no problem finding the items that I came in for. It was all up front and chips were thereI was hungry so I got a banana and chips were on sale so I got a bag of wavy Lays and a bag of tostitos tortilla chips. Lines were long and only two registers were open. The cashier was polite and smiled while checking me out. He bagged my items as I paid for them. For my first time in the store, I would say it was a great experience and I will go back to the store again.

Ive been shopping here about 2 years and always had a good experience. My wife was in there yesterday and the cashier asked her to bag her own groceries. One of the main reasons we shop here and not across the street st FoodsCo is because we dont have to bag our own items. The prices are higher at Smart, but we enjoy the better service (ahem). Ill probably still shop there once in a while, but I guess I should brace myself because next time they might ask me to stock the shelves and round up the carts.

So I moved it to five stars nice work guy’s.Old review: I shop here alot and I really like s&m but I have had to toss a small fortune of meat cheese and yogurt because they have expired items sitting on the shelf for way to long. Literally the same block of green cheese sat there waiting for a poor unfortunate soul in a rush to grab and buy it. And I have bought steak same day to cook and has a funky smell. Its happened to many times to me this issue needs to get fixed. I have a busy life and I dont like being took advantage of.

Shop their Everytime went there to buy two things today and even ask if you are hiring. If I wasnt in a rush.but I know Smart & Final Extra has what I need,and great services 😊 Thanks Smart & Final Extra. Might be shopping their tomorrow 😊

Good store, if you dont have a Sams club or Costco membership.

Great selection of items but they dont have enough lines open most of the time, so checkout can take some time.

I usually have a good experience here but tonight I was disappointed. I came in to buy grapes and when I got home and started to wash them I noticed some mold on them, some the skin peeling off, a lot of rotting grapes in the bunch. As I was cleaning I was throwing away the rotten ones, then I noticed well over half the bag was this way so took the remainder back to the store for a refund, only to have the amount per pound that I returned refunded to me.... I was dumbfounded. I left very upset, I don’t feel that was right.

The fact that aisles are kept clean and well organized, alongside the friendly employees, make shopping here fast and efficient.

I shop here a lot love this store. Alway cool stuff to look at too.

I used to prefer coming here over the foods co and food maxx because of the shorter lines and quick service but my last two trip here (today and last week) were both upsetting. They dont have enough open checkout lanes and the employees are just rude!I come here knowing that they cost more then the other two nearby grocery stores (in Hopes for good service) but they are just as bad as the other stores.In the past I was told to bag my own groceries by one of the employees while checking out and today the gal threw in my groceries into the bags without considering the fact that I have fruits and eggs. Just threw the bag of onions on top of my grapes and everything else all lopsided not even attempting to place things into the bags neatly or using common sense. (Dont put fruits and vegetables with can foods please and dont put the onions on top of my grapes!)The long lines are exhausting, its one thing if they were cheap with long lines but they are far from it!Im in a toss up if I will continue to shop here.

Everytime I visited here the produce department is out of stock on staples like salad mix. The service is poor. Prices on meat are more expensive than other places. Ill skip from now on.
