Produce is plentiful and has plenty of choices. The meat department is limited but also has interesting choices. If you shop at a busy time expect a long wait in line to check out.

I have trouble with this because I appreciate how neat the store is and the produce selection, however what I saw the other day with the security and a homeless man really triggered me. It was traumatizing. I saw two security guards tackle a man in the front entrance of the store causing a huge scene in front of children. The way the security guards were jumping on this man was really messed up. The interesting thing is, I was in the soda section when the man dropped a 6 pack of 20 oz sodas, I thought he was just clumsy and never thought anything of it until I realized it was the man they were beating up. So I know it was behind soda they did all this for. Honestly it was hard to watch. So much so I was thinking about protesting. It was ugly.

Cool place to ship down is where it at.. other then that it price point cheap vs other stores. Clean and dressed up well for the short staff they have.

I always find what Im looking for when I cant find it at Wal-Mart or other grocery stores. Prices are way better, always clean and the staff are always polite and pleasant.

As a professional Walmarter that not longer lives next to Walmart its great substitute for food section but if your looking more Asian products not a lot I say compared to Walmart Hispanic products is wh as t the store clutches at.

I was sleeping on this store for a long time, driving further away to that superstore thinking only they could have everything I needed. Over this past year Food 4 Less had greatly improved their selections. They always have great prices, not increasing the price just cause there isnt much competition nearby. Only took away one star cause it gets messy when the checkout lines get backed up. Absolutely no organization there, just hoping you got in the fastest line.

Its a spacious full shopping experience, they have a huge satisfying fresh produce section, always in stock with everything you need, its a great place to fill all your grocery needs.

It was pretty clean, the store has a very different set up. The lady at check out was friendly.

A pack of twisted teas cost $17, they ring you up for $24.98...... not my place to shop

Always better prices than other stores. Always feel like I get $200 worth of groceries when I only spent $100. Fairly clean. Open 24 hours. If you go later at night, like around 10pm to 12am, its never busy. Which I like. Bag your own groceries. So bring your own bags or they charge for them. Friendly staff. And helpful staff. Even that late at night. The produce area is nice and clean. There wasnt signs of bad fruit or veggies ( sometimes there are rotting produce and/or little flying gnats at other stores). The best part for me was the meat area. Everything was very neat, organized, full, and lots of different product to choose from! The prices of their meats are incredibly lower than others. And the quality if their meat is absolutely the best!! So nice!

All employees looking and not helping. Hot deli close? Bad customer service and management sucks. I called ph# and was put on hold.

Im always completely satisfied shopping at this store. This is my local grocery store. I always feel welcome and I am always really happy with the bang I get for my buck. Good Deals. The customer service is always warm and caring and kind. All around good place to get your local groceries. A Game this Grocery Team Is Always on it.

My first time shopping here. I asked what isle the tea was stocked. I also asked what isle the pancake mix was stock, and I was assisted by 2 nice and helpful guy employees. The lady cashier was extremely nice!

Do not go here if you want to survive COVID-19. Half the staff thinks they are too good for masks or try and be cute and wear them only on their mouths. Most the customers do not wear masks at all, and try to squeeze into you as much as possible. Social distancing is next to impossible at this store. I was hoping with the government mandates people might have begun to take this seriously, but nope. If you want to feel SAFE doing your grocery shopping, go to SF supermarket across the street. They have excellent hygiene procedures in the store. EVERYONE is required to wear a mask and all employees have the shields as well. I feel safe going there, knowing I wont get infected from buying groceries.

Nice and clean. Friendly helpful staff. I just dont like the bag your own grocery stores. Wal-Mart has some of the items cheaper. A difference of 2 cents is not enough for me to shop here. The produce is okay. Onions and garlic were a little old looking for me. Not a bad store,just not for me.So Im adding some stuff to my first review.Today is April 23rd 2019. Ive been in this store numerous times. Its on my regular route.Clerks are AWESOME. But the food quality is questionable. Grey poultry and brown red meat on the regular. That big plastic bin of shrimp is basically at room temperature and unsanitary. What really turned me off is the meat you see in the photo I posted. Looks like when some one opens a package of lunchmeat or wieners in the store, instead of marking it out of stock and discarding it, they REPACKAGE it and sell it. I was shocked and insulted when I saw this. They think so little of their clientele. Who knows what this meat was subjected to ? Could have been tampered with. It was OPENED. Nasty. Then they got creative and started putting tidbits from other food items that someone opened in with the meat. Tacky and insulting. Probably something the board of health wouldnt like.You also have to check bags of onions and potatoes for rotten ones. Their rotisserie chicken process is questionable too. When Wal-Mart refrigerates a rotisserie chicken, you know the exact time it was prepared.I saw the same rotisserie chicken in the fridge 2 days in a row at Food 4 Less without CLEAR info on when it was prepared. Not cool.The store is clean. I hope they stay. But even during busy holiday season they had 2 or 3 checkouts open . Prices are actually better at Wal-Mart and I dont have to bag my own stuff.Today Food 4 Less had Cantaloupe for 3.99 each,avacados were 2.50 each and thats higher than Safeway. I miss Raleys.

Nice clean store. Spacious layout. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good selection at a good price. Very comparable to surrounding stores and competitive pricing. I find some items to be cheaper. I find some brands I cant find at other stores. The lines usually move pretty quick. But its like most stores, It can get backed up on busy days. Overall good experience

Friendly atmosphere

It is not possible to take your break at the Sacramento Food 4 Less on Mack. Drove for 4 hours straight. Wanted to use the bathroom and buy something to eat. The bathroom is blocked by armed guards, and the only way to use the bathroom is to carry your food and drink into the bathroom after you pay for them. I’m sure that plan sounded good after pounding down a six pack. Bathroom is probably sparklingly clean if they let you into it.

Nor do the employees respect the safe distance, apart from the fact that a client was in the dark without covering her mouths and nobody said anything other than that the employees were talking while I was waiting for them in them, I really felt very insecure frankly I would not like to return

The store is very clean and well kepted. Bought three things, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, red and yellow onions. Price is good. Staff was helpful. Not located in the best location.
