This Extra Space Storage location is great, and I really like their storage unit(s) set up. However, I must inform while the location and set up of this location are great, the real superstars and the real reason behind my five (5) star review is Tasha, and Beverly - we could have talked about all sorts of stuff for days on end. They are professional, very sweet, and very knowledge. Both Tasha and Beverly, have made the arduous task of getting a storage unit, an extremely pleasurable experience. Extra Space Storage needs to give Tasha and Beverly a bonus, promotion, or some additional paid time off.

With almost 24 hour access ( 6AM - 10PM), and the security features you would expect from the best.in the business. Did I mention the Best staff I personally have ever done business with. Trust me, Ive rented everywhere, and this place easily leaves the others behind. I rent at the C st. location in East Sac. I love it. Im pretty confident that all their locations are just as Great, but you cant beat Tasha (The Boss). Her professionalism and absolute helpful and friendly demeanor are a breathe of fresh air compared to most storage managers. You really cant go wrong with these guys. Went love our new storage at Extra Space Storage. Very clean very courteous staff. Well-maintained and very well-maintained. Our experience was we had a cart that was wet and one of the workers came out and cleaned it with Fabulosa’s and dried it off. My husband and I were very appreciative.

I was greeted by both staff members very friendly, and then I was helped by Beverly. She was efficient and helped me see a few spaces that were available. The tour of the facility showed me they take very nice care of the cleanliness and security of the entire place. I’m very happy to have such a great facility for storage so near to me and the freeway as well.

Had a great experience with this extra space, the managers were very kind and helped me when I needed it. Since my moving trucks were bigger than front gate they were able arrange for them to use the back gate.Clean and well managed facility!

Our first time to this storage and it was an unbelievable experience.Tasha was amazing! She explained everything we needed to do, took us on a tour to check out spaces we might be interested in and made it fun.We were getting a work storage and we would choose this storage company to use for our own personal storage if/when we ever needed it. Great service, very friendly staff. I use my storage unit for my business, and they worked with me to make sure I had everything I needed to run my business efficiently. My battery died once when I was there and they jumped my car, even though they were pretty busy.

I will be calling them first, from now on, for all my storage needs.On top of all the great customer service I received I showed up, never having seen the facility before, and was amazed at how clean this Fortress of a facility was. With tall walls, magnetic locking gates with personalized code entry and exit, complimentary carts to use so you dont have to carry/ lift everything into you unit, and cameras everywhere I feel that my belongings are as safe and in the best facility as they can be. The process and paperwork was all done over the phone and email that took literally less than 5 minutes(total) and even though all documents can be signed electronically in the comfort of your own home I stopped in the office when I arrived to sign the lease. This experience was as stress free and easy going as I could ever have imagined it to be, and we all know moving your life has enough of that.Great job Tasha! Thank you so much for such great customer service.Hats off the designers and owners of this facility you guys have hit the nail right on the head in Facility Design and Hiring Staff. Phenomenal customer service! After a day of packing and traveling to Sacramento the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, we arrived at at the planned rental place (separate company) only to find that our rented unit had an unknown lock and no one at the desk to assist. After frantically searching for a storage unit to unload with our hourly movers, Extra Space Storage really did save the day. The person on the 800 number was extremely helpful in connecting us with a local space. Once we arrived, it was close to closing time, but they were patient, stayed late to help us, and walked through various payment options. Unit was what we needed so we are pleased!

This is the best storage place in East Sac. Its in a great location, clean, well lit and safe. The manager Tasha is friendly and well organized. I think shes part magician. It seems like she runs this place on her own I always see her doing anything and everything. I think she knows all her renters names and remembers what they have going on in their life. That takes time and thought for that. She has some renters that rent multiple units which says a lot. I always recommend this location.

I highly recommend this place. It is safe, clean and secure. Tasha, the manager, consistently goes above and beyond to make this place great. There is a reason this place is more highly rated than other storage locations in the area and is regularly at 95% full occupancy….it is better. If you can get a unit here, you should feel confident about going for it. In my experience, you can expect clean facilities (without problems like rodents or bugs). Safe and secure premises. Access hours are convenient from 6am - 10pm daily. The manager cares, she is responsive, and takes care of problems right away. Climate control is reliable and will protect your stuff long-term. I would recommend it for your storage needs.

I have rented spaces from them a few times already, and really am content with the services they provide. Regulated and clean facilities with great security features. The staff is always polite, and I really like the prices offered for their units. They also (optional) offer insurance on your units belongings. I recommend to anyone who wants piece of mind over their belongings and wants great customer service.

Extra Space Storage is really amazing. Its exceptionally clean in your storage unit, hallways, and elevator. Staff is friendly and always answers my questions. Indoor climatizing was a benefit for my antique furniture. This was so much better than a storage unit my daughter used with a different company.

Very secure with friendly staff. Climate controlled too. My only complaint would be the open air circulation that allows dust to constantly settle on your possessions.

UPDATE after major OBSTACLE to moving in to the space I initially rented here!! Though I initially was very impressed with this storage company, huge disappointment overtook that first impression for this reason:Upon arrival at the entrance gate into this facility on moving day, the fully loaded commercial Penske moving truck was NOT able to pass through the entry access gate because it was 4 inches too high to clear the crossbeam that spanned the gate!!!! Worst nightmare ever! I was not ever advised, verbally or in writing, of a moving truck’s height being a potential problem, and that is certainly counterintuitive!The customer service clerk on duty evidently did not know that there was a fire gate that the truck could have gained access through, alternatively. The regular manager was off that day, and this clerk evidently did not know that that was a viable alternative. At 3:30 in the afternoon, we were forced to desperately start calling around for different storage options—which we finally located, but after quite a stressful effort, and not available until the next morning!I had to pay the mover for extra time spent driving home, where he parked the truck overnight, to then drive back down the next day, as well as payment for an extra day’s trunk rental—not to mention worrying all night about everything I owned being locked up in the truck, parked overnight one town away!Adding insult to injury, I actually had to wait several days to get a refund of the money I had put down for the storage unit. Supervisors would not authorize the refund initially, though the clerk on duty that day did try her best to get authorization and expressed empathy for my situation.The regular manager, upon her return, did finally succeed in getting a refund authorized for the funds I had advanced to reserve the inaccessible storage space, but that was not proactively offered to me. I had to call back and insist that it was in order. I had to eat the extra day’s truck rental and movers’ time and gas spent to move me into a U-Haul facility the next day, ultimately. I think Extra Space upper management should have, at the very least, sent me a letter of apology. I will never forget the stress I went through because of this unexpected obstacle to moving in!———————————(Original review I posted earlier prior to this fiasco starts here):I have not yet loaded my storage unit but I was very impressed with every customer service agent I’ve dealt with on the phone, thus far, when making inquiries and comparing the price and amenities with other services in the area. I was also impressed with the security features in place.I think my unit will be easy to access for moving purposes building . I was especially grateful for the excellent customer service of Tasha who patiently answered my questions and walked me through the reservation confirmation process. As a painting contractor my drive up storage unit worked perfect for storing my tools and shop supplies. I knew I would only be there for a year or so til I moved to a bigger shop but this was perfect because of the location to where I lived and had most of my jobs. Never had a problem with gates or locks. Was a smooth experience for everything I needed.

Porche and Tasha were awesome at explaining everything and anything I had to ask. The complex was really clean, everything was brand new, and the gate access was as easy as it could be. The 7x10 and 10x10 unit were both spotless and even had various locking mechanisms to make us feel more secure. The new and renovated units made this the nicest storage facility in Sac and at the absolute best value for the price (which was low with special offers available by the way)
