We had taken the car to the attached quick lube to get the oil changed, but we were told that there was a leak and so it would not make sense to change the oil. Thus, we contacted the service department, explained the situation, and asked them to do a thorough check of the car since we were taking it on a long trip. I made it clear that we wanted the car to be ready for a long drive and that we would want the oil changed as well. They recommended other general maintenance including a battery service, and I agreed. We kept the car there for a week, and the total was close to $3,000. After all that, it turned out that they fixed the leak but did not change the oil but did take the sticker off that tells us when the next oil change would be. They also performed a battery service on a battery that turned out to have a dead cell which they did not catch when they ran the diagnostic. I did call to discuss the matter with the service manager before posting this review.
CLEAR and concise communication is needed. Also, integrity needs to play a role to build trust in what the representative is conveying to you. Other than that, my car is running well.
Couldnt find the problem, but did do up dates, and Ill pray it doesnt happen again, esp away from home.
