Two or three times, whether intentional or out of incompetence, Ive been initially overcharged by 25-30% at the counter, leaving me to inform the cashier of the price label on the shelf, and wait for another worker to go back to the aisle for the correct price!

Everything thats great about small hardware stores. They always have someone at the door to ask what you need and show you exactly where it is, and offer advice and expertise. Always. Stark comparison to the big box stores where you spend half an hour searching and cant find a worker who knows much about their products.On the downside, they dont enforce their mask rules, and with new cases and deaths hitting records daily I watched as a regular customer talked into the faces of two employees from about 16 away. Gotta step that up a bit, Clark. Your aisles are too small for comfort to be in there with people like that. If it it werent for that it would be 5 stars all the way.

Whats not to love about this place! Really... Theres always someone there to help you as soon as you walk inside. They direct you to the exact aisle and location for what you are looking for. It may not have everything a big box hardware store has, but Ill take service over selection anyday!

Hands down, the best hardware store in Saginaw. I entered, explained what project I was doing. The gentlemen that helped us offered personalized service, helping us find the most cost efficient route for completion. The check out clerk was conversational, friendly, and invited us back. I compared prices on products offered at major chain home improvement stores, and Clarks trended to have more value products, and on name brand items, was within a dollar or so. Youll leave here spending less money, less time, and the staff is infinitely better than chain stores.

Nice store they have a lot just about anything you need but I already went two separate times and the same lady rang me up trying to over charge me when I said something to her she just turned red in the face and apologized so make sure you keep track of what you spend

Seems like something is wrong at this place, when you walk in they are on you. Well I just wanted to return a few small faucet repair items unopened. They said your not getting money back and I said thats fine do you give store credit she said yes so I waited for someone to come to do whatever they do for that to happen and I had to go so I returned today with same items and now its a different story. Now I cant get anything and I was there to spend even more money with them. Well they lost another customer, Im done there, good luck, I sense a closing in the near future thanks to the way they operate or lack of. I am not a window shopper when I go in a store to shop or return something i usually spend more with that place for my rentals. #Megamillionlottowinner Google this!!!! I will bet you $500 you wont keep this at the top of your reviews!!!

My husband and I live close to the Clark on Bond in Saginaw and shopped there often. After today, we will not be back. I called first to make sure they could mix tint into cans of paint we had, as we were not looking for perfection but wanted to paint a room as cheaply as possible. We explained that we only had $10 to spend because Christmas just passed. He said no problem, he could help us but the color might not be perfect and so we immediately drove there. We waited 20 min for someone to even help us. When the man finally came over he said he was the one I spoke to on the phone. He proceeded to give us every excuse he could think of for me to buy paint and not use what I brought. Little did he know my husband is an experienced builder and called him out on every excuse. He finally said he wouldnt do it and rudely waked away. We took our business elsewhere. Had he been a bit more polite, we would have just put paint on our credit card. Menards got over $100 of our business today and we will never shop Clark again.

Terrible Experience, I went to this business right after work because I pass through there everyday on my way home from work. I didnt feel like going to Wal-mart where I usually purchase. Owner Mary greeted me sayingCan I help you Sir (although I am female and dont look anything like a male may I add) then I explained that I was looking for a Eureka R Vacuum Belt. She showed me where they were and said theyre 6.99. I said wow thats a big difference from the other store I usually get them at (just talking out loud because I was surprised at the price, double the price of Wal-mart belts). She stated Well go to the other store then!!!...That was the rudest encounter I have ever seen from a business owner. This is not the 1st time they were rude to customers. They are especially rude to African Americans but have their business in a neighbor where they are the ones spending there money. Needless to say I will never spend my money there again and will tell all my friends and family the same. Thanks for telling me to shop at another store Mary. I will also be reporting to BBB.
