This little hidden away spot is a gem. Its an out west grown ups Central Perk minus drama, and a permanently reserved couch. The regulars all know each other, and are welcoming. They ship in quality beans from all over the world, which you can buy whole. Plus the coffee is superb.

Came in twice while visiting town. So far my favorite place in the valley!First day ordered a single shot and a large drip. Both tasted great. Nothing burnt or too runny of a pull. Ended up with a double anyways and boy was it strong! Kept me in check the entire day while working.Second day ordered the flavored drip coffee. Now I hate sweet coffee so I wasnt sure until I was informed it was a traditional extract and not just syrup flavoring. This made all the difference.Even for regular black coffee drinkers the flavorings are delicious! Give it a shot!

This coffee shop is 15 minutes away from my house but I have made a decision to start making the trip for my coffee. Both the guests and employees were fun and inviting. Before I even got inside there were several people relaxing, enjoying their own coffee out front. They don’t work there but were in such a lovely mood they said good morning and made me feel part of a community.When I got inside the relaxed and welcoming mood continued. I had several questions about beans to buy, they were more than happy to answer them all. I never felt rushed or like I was just another sale, they helped with a smile regardless of what I purchased.To top it off, they make a delicious and picture-worthy cup of coffee.I never write reviews but had to take the time because I’ve stopped in twice and both times left with a smile and energy to start my day....not just from the coffee.

They roast their own coffee, and it’s excellent. I’ve tried several of their beans and loved them all. I love their flavored coffee as well, try their “Highlander Grog”. Great prices!!

One thing I’ve noticed the past 3 times I’ve gone is that one of the staff members doesn’t wear a mask. I think it might be one of the owners. I don’t really want to say anything when I’m there, but it makes me feel uneasy. I love the coffee there, but I think that the entire staff should wear masks... especially if they are working with food and drinks.

I went in wanting whole bean coffee for my husband. They were so knowledgeable about the different brews. On top of that, they gave me an extra bag for him (he’s a service member). I am extremely satisfied with their friendliness and costumer service. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Great little spot for a cup of decent coffee and a snack. The vibe feels like a barn repurposed to be a rented apartment. Spacious, rustic (fitting nicely into the history of the city), yet clean with a modern edge. Also, it’s rare to get as a good view of the Oquirrah mountains from the valley.

LOVE Hidden Peaks! Great people and delicious drinks. My favorite is the caramel macchiato. London fog and chai latte are also amazing.

Amazing! It is 3rd Generation coffee roasting and fabulous Brew! Walking in I could smell the aroma of coffee that has been roast on site. They are thoughtfully sourced beans, and Tyler obviously has an artisan hand.Always friendly service, Derek and the team are kind with good conversation.Having just moved to the neighborhood, I am so, so so happy to have discovered Hidden Peaks!

Started coming here when I started working at my job nearby. This shop is about as local as it gets! This place is better than all the chain shops that are around the city and I think your money is better spent here. Their selection is awesome and everything is ground, brewed, etc in house. I highly recommend the atmosphere and the staff working hard to get you coming back.

Ive lived by this little coffee shop for years and never really noticed it get much business. I decided to try it out and was a bit skeptical. The staff was incredibly nice! I asked a young man what he recommended as Ive never been in before. He asked a few questions about what i like and then i saw him fill with excitement as he told me he was going to make me something special. Let me just say, we all know how people exaggerate their experiences good or bad, but i am telling you now that this was the best cup of coffee Ive ever had! It was incredibly smooth, it had the perfect amount of sweet and savory, it was even the perfect temperature! It wasnt scolding hot or lukewarm, but immediately drinkable and it filled my body with a real sense of relaxation! Im telling you, this mustve been how Goldy Locks felt when she found that perfect bowl of porridge. After finishing the cup, i asked what it was called. He told me it was his own drink that he perfected after working at coffee shops for so long, and that he typically doesnt make it for people. So without giving away the secret to whats in it, go in and ask for the Ash special. If youre lucky, hell be there to know what youre talking about.

My absolute favorite coffee roasters in the greater SLC area! They have such fresh and fantastic blends that inspire on a daily basis!I love the dark espresso blends for at home latte, and the classic medium roast for that early morning drip! Not to mention the atmosphere of the shop is relaxed and enjoyable for a casual hangout or long workday.Lastly dont forgot to grab a pastry and chat with the staff they are delightful!

Their coffee is #1 in the SLC valley. We come here for the occasional coffee to go, but the best thing about this place is their beans. We are daily coffee drinkers and their beans never disappoint. Also the people there are pretty cool too!

Im a Washington native, and just moved to Utah this month. Ive searched around to find someplace that made me feel like home and this is it.Atmosphere: totally laid back, you can chill or rush. Whatevs.The roasts are all incredibly well done - no burning beans for uniformity. Nice light roasts; great, well paired blends, extensive selections.Pricing is favorable - my coveted latte is a dollar cheaper than my regular stand back home and just as delicious. They definitely use high quality products and equipment to get you a smooth cup of coffee no matter what you order.Anecdote:Since exploring some other shops in the month Ive been here, Ive had to start ordering my latte with no foam. The owner looked at me like I was crazy when I specified no foam on my latte (which is apparently a thing here...who orders a latte for half a cup full of foam? What is that?) This was not only a funny conversation, but has proven to me they are into coffee for all the right reasons.I am a hidden peaks believer.

This is my new favorite coffee place. The guy is super chill. He lets you sample the daily roasts. The vibe is pretty cool. There is a section of all the green coffee bean sacks which I think looks cool. You can tell that a lot of the regulars are the older crowd, but if I lived closer to this shop I would probably make it my regular place to visit. If you are in to brewing at home they sell beans and the price is really inexpensive..

I love going to the Coffee Club. It really is a place where you can sit and drink fresh coffee and talk with a variety of people. I met my husband at the Coffee Club for a lot of dates when we first started dating. We could sit for hours on end playing card games or chess and drink great coffee and eat excellent food. Ken and Alice have a good thing going here and I would rather get my coffee here and enjoy supporting locals than any place else.

OMGosh! After returning from a month long European trip and using up the last of my Peruvian beans, withdrawal was setting in. I wanted to try another local roaster and came across HIDDEN PEAKS COFFEE AND ROASTERS. The owner was so nice! She gave me 3 free samples (hello caffein!) and didnt charge me for the donut I scarfed down.The coffee is smooth and so fresh. I am now a loyal customers. I am also in the service industry and have owned several small businesses. Service is EVERYTHING. Even the young gentlemen helping her/me was enthusiastic and friendly. You must go there and give them a try.. you cant beat 30yrs experience under their belts.

I live in Pleasant Grove and every Monday my husband and I drop the kids off at school and head up to Taylorsville to have coffee here. They have a great staff and the atmosphere is so laid back. The staff is very knowledgeable and we enjoy learning new things about where the coffee comes from. Give them a try next time your around the area.

The Coffee itself is nothing to write home about...but it will get you started for the day or pick me up in the afternoon. Location is great. Good walking distance from many apartment complexes or businesses. Staff is courteous, quick and helpful. Customers very friendly.

This place is a Cheers bar(everybody knows your name). If you hang out for a while you can have the best conversations with good people. Its a gathering place where people come to socialize. Oh yeah, and they have awesome coffee (4 different kinds brewed every day).

Not like the huge coffee chain places- which can be certainly welcome. Nice folks behind the counter, can give you the run down on coffee if you ask. Spacious enough for a group or just yourself. Affordable with a few sweets to chose from as well-but more coffee than anything.

The owner is so cool and mellow and friendly. They know coffee but dont get all wine snob about it. Coffee by the pound is very well priced too. Ill always come here when I need to smell the roasting bean and chill.

I woke up at my normal time Saturday to get my trenta vanilla sweet cream cold brew with two pumps of vanilla, three pumps of caramel syrup, two pumps of cinnamon dolce syrup, two pumps of hazelnut, two pumps of toffee nut syrup, two pumps of mocha, two pumps of white mocha, two pumps of pumpkin sauce, three pumps of maple pecan syrup, and five shots of espresso. But nobody was there, they are going to be closed until Tuesday. How can I trust other coffee shops to make my order correct. They need to be open 24/7 to accommodate my needs.

I have been going to the Coffee Club for over ten years. Ken and Alice are wonderful caring people. They know my specialty when I walk in and their food is great. I also use the club for meetings with clients for my home based business - it is a safe place to meet someone I do not know. They have a large conference table that I have held trainings at.
