My new go to place for vegan pastries. The most beautiful pastry creations ever. A wonderful assortment, too. Everything in-store is vegan! Tried the matcha pound cake, classic croissant, pop tart and beyond sausage stuffed croissant - Blew up my macros for the day because I bought 4 items to try throughout the week at home but ate them all on the car ride home. ***Friendliest guy working the counter…Made me feel welcome.

I love this place. Everything I have tried has been very good. I have tried a bite of a lot of the desserts including the oatmeal cream pie and the fudge and they were delicious. I always order some coffee and a side salad. Today I got smarter and ordered 2 side salads. Next time I need to just own up to the fact that I need at least 4 of those bad boys to make a meal. I just love this salad so much I want to make a meal of it. I love that they are vegan-izing so many foods (hostess cupcakes. Sausage egg and cheese biscuits, biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict). I will be back many times in the future.

If you’re looking for a savory breakfast- I don’t believe you’ll find better than the ‘Smoky Benedict’. This buscuit- topped with smoky ‘ham’, firm tofu, ripe tomato, spinach and special sauce is a flavorful and filling meal with a side of home fries. I’ll be dreaming about it for months I’m sure. The crepe is excellent as well- the cream filling tastes really fresh and goes well with the berries. Best vegan meal from my travels so far ✨✨

I hate leaving such a low rating, but I cant get over how awful my experience was here. I took my boyfriend and parents here for my birthday and i was so excited to try this place out and get some yummy birthday treats. I got a cupcake that felt like it had just came out of the freezer and tasted like it had about a tablespoon of salt in it. I am not a picky eater, but this was the worst cupcake I have ever eaten, I couldnt even finish it. I also got a iced London fog latte, which tasted like iced water. Not to mention the server was not pleasant and seemed irritated and bothered by me and was pushy on my ordering right away. Even though there was no one behind us in line. Very disappointing and not coming back.

This is a all vegan authentic French bakery and cafe. The macaroons are a must have.I have been able to try different things here as long as they’ve been gluten free, but thankfully a lot of the baked goods have been made with almond flour. It isn’t open late but it’s definitely somewhere for early morning coffee date or lunch tea and biscuits sort of idea that the French have.Highly recommend and right in the district that is called the Maven District or right near it.There’s Jeds Barber Shop, Randy’s Record Store, Maven Create, which is one building with lots of different suites used for different things.Don’t miss out!Light and fluffy delicate offerings, and aesthetically can’t be competed with!

Alright, I drink a LOT of coffee. Y’all, THIS place makes a GOOD cup of coffee. Each cup brewed to order and they would not allow a less-than-perfect shot of espresso to go in my cup no matter how long it took (we, like chumps, walked in 5 mins before closing and stayed well after since we’d been chatting the staff up). Sure, I’d like the ability to have a larger size made since it’s SO GOOD, but it’s completely understandable that they don’t offer that since it is brewed-to-order. Also, they have some award winning almond croissants. The owner (she, #businesswomenwhomeanbusiness) went to school to be a pastry chef and has been in the lab (kitchen) experimenting for years to finally perfect VEGAN pastries that are delicious (not easy folks, so much trial and error). Alas, she did it; thank god. And has a great staff to support her as well it appears. They talk great about the owner when she’s not even around (great sign). P.S. Macaroons are fantastic as well.

[Names of pastries featured in photos at end of review]Well! Ive gone to this bakery in person a few times and its quite quaint. Not exactly warm, but it wasnt bad service either. Whats more important, however, is the food. And trust me, these vegan treats are delicious! As you can see from the photos, PFP gets major points in presentation. The bowls are my own (from Target, cheers) as Ive shifted to getting these delivered now instead of going in, but even these cute little plates are completely overshadowed by how gorgeous the pastries are. Despite the trip, they always arrive looking picture-perfect and scrumptious. While I do believe there are some duds on the menu (why am I paying so much for a fancy Hostess cupcake?), overall the pastries taste amazing! The matcha pound cake is to die for and I really must recommend it here.If you are having it delivered, keep in mind that the tart tends to break up quickly if left to sit too long or if put in the fridge, so eat that one first if you plan on ordering a few treats over the course of the weekend.Theres a pretty decent selection but Id probably only give... 3.5 stars for variety.Price-wise... well, sometimes you pay extra for the aesthetic. Sure, there are cheaper vegan bakeries with more variety but do they look this good? Youre paying extra for the posh (dare I say hipster?) vibe and for how beautiful the food looks. Ultimately its up to you if the price tag is worth it for you.For me, Passion Flour Patisserie makes for a great treat after a tough week or a delicious reward to celebrate an accomplishment.Or, yknow, if you just want to pamper yourself! If you made it this far, thank you! I hope you find this review helpful ♡Names of the pastries featured in the photos;;1st yellow bowl - Vanilla Cupcake! (The filling, oh my goodness. Just wow.) and two French Macarons, one watermelon and one strawberry cheesecake (they have the best macarons and always have a random, exciting variety!)2nd yellow bowl - Fruit Tarte!Blue bowl - Strawberry Cream Cheese Danish and that wonderful little Matcha Pound Cake I talked about earlier in the review.

I walked in with a cookie, looking for coffee to enjoy with my cookie.... little did I know that the shop I walked by was vegan. They asked me to put my cookie away because of cross contamination. This made for the rest of the time there feeling awkward. They were nice about it, but I was still awkward. The cookie was good. But I wish I had known that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my cookie with my coffee as I had planned.I had asked for cold brew, which they were out of. Instead I got an iced americano, with avgu -i think that was what it was called?- it was really good and I wouldn’t mind having it again. The shop was very clean and the staff was nice... even if I was left feeling dirty and judged for having a cookie.

When I called, the nice lady on the phone explained that the specialty cake baker was out of town so I couldnt get the carrot cake Id hope for, but she let me know what cakes I could get. She was informative and friendly. When I asked that a message be written on my cake, she said she didnt have much experience writing with icing but she would do her best. Vegan menu, not too original.Wife and I stopped in for Sunday breakfast. Arrived at 900am, and they were promptly open, and the staff were friendly. Food was served without too much delay. And of course, the dining area was spotless. On to the food. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, smoked Benedict, cappuccino, and a French pressed black coffee. Each of the meals were served with a side of potatoes that were cooked perfectly. Though we didnt notice any ketchup or hot sauces to go along with them. It would be a nice option. My wife loved her biscuits and gravy. I thought the smoked Benedict could use some work. The ham appeared to be nothing more than the ham substitute I can buy at Harmons/WholeFoods. The hollandaise sauce was a little too gritty. I know its made using nuts, but maybe a longer soak. The biscuit was also too hard. The smoked tofu was fantastic. Easily the best part the dish. I think they could work that dish and make it something special. The coffe was great! Though I would love a perc brewed option, for refills and sipping while waiting. Ill go again, because there wasnt anything to make me stay away.

Sometimes you want Gen Z to serve you coffee from behind a pastry case full of beautiful vegan treats to make you feel like you, and your fellow millennials are still relevant.  This is the place.  I had an iced tea that was delicious, but had more tea leaf remains in it than I would have preferred.  My crepe was tasty, but REALLY chewy and difficult to cut or fork.  I don’t typically eat vegan, so maybe this is normal.  I’d eat it again, it was just odd and mildly difficult to consume sans fingers.  The breakfast potatoes that came with the Benedict were probably the biggest win of our meal.

I heard good reviews from friends about Passion Flower, so decided to drop in and see what it was all about. At first glance, its an adorable little shop with pastries on display and an urban/eclectic aesthetic. I ordered a hot tea latte and the avocado toast, while those with me ordered the lavender butter toast and the lemon poppy waffles. We also bought a few of the macrons. Now, I know that anything vegan should be appreciated as it is and one should not expect it to taste like the normal food its imitating (for lack of a better word). On that note, the food was subpar for the price paid. The waffles were extremely hard, as were the macrons, and the toasts werent very big in comparison to similar places I have visited. The latte, however, was delicious.I know nothing of their cakes and other desserts, which did look amazing and boasted beautiful colors and accents. Others have told me good things about the chocolate cake. This is definitely somewhere Id go for coffee with a friend again, but the prices are an easy deterrent after eating here.

I have given this place a few tries now. I think the interior design, plants, and wood are really inviting and my style. The place is aesthetically beautiful. However, unfortunately the first time I had three pastries and they were pretty dry despite looking beautiful. The second time the cashier was extremely rude to me, treating me like I was below her, despite me being incredibly nice to her. This third time sort of did it for me though. The drink I received, while tasting and looking good, had a good quarter inch of the residue on the bottom of the cup once I reached it, concluding that it was not mixed properly. It did not taste good when I accidentally took a big gulp of it. So the drink I paid 5 bucks for, plus a tip, seemed to be rushly made so the barista could return to the back. A few minutes after sitting down I realized that they were playing early 2000s pop, which I found a little out of place in the sort of aesthetic they put on. A couple moments later another girl comes out from the back and turns the music up louder, so that it is now blaring in the coffee shop. I was planning to spend a couple hours trying to get work done but because the music, not to mention obnoxious music, was so loud I finished my drink and left. Music is HUGE for a coffee shop. It sets the mood and tone of the entire experience you have there. While the late 90s to early 2000s is nostalgic for all of us, it is NOT the place in this sort of establishment. It was selfish of the workers to come out and blare it, without asking any of us if it was okay. The music ruined the atmosphere, and I felt like I had wasted my money. Every time I have come the workers will come out from the back, take your order, and then they go back to the backroom, never to be seen again for the rest of your stay unless someone comes and rings the bell. I understand the food is prepared back there, but I suggest there be a slight change in the efforts to make sure your guests are doing well and letting your presence be more known sometimes instead of only coming out if the bell rings. Your place is gorgeous, and that is where the two stars come from. I would consider giving another try if the service and drinks becomes more personal and thorough.... and the music was definitely taken in more selfless consideration.

Did not listen carefully when our cake was ordered and execute the very simple basic design we asked for. When I picked it up it was wrong I told them I had no time to make it right and had to go. They insisted they could fix it quickly so I stayed. It took an hour for them to fix the cake I was late for the wedding celebration I was supposed to be early for and did not have the cake out on display. The kicker is it was literally just two layers one small with white textured frosting and a simple spiderweb design anyone could do. I have no idea why I paid them so much to do this. It would have been better if they had been honest about how long it would take. Better to be on time with a so so cake then really late with the right one

Underwhelming. My husband had the savoury waffle - dry and hard, lacking any flavor that was attempted to mask with the overly spicy sauce on top. Suggestion, put some spices in that waffle mix, some fresh cilantro too and fill it with some kind of savoury creme, that should soften it up and give it the flavor it so desperately needs. I had the biscuits and gravy - again, the biscuits very over baked so they were hard and crunchy even though there was sauce on top. The sauce itself was just ok but it needs to be elevated, especially for those prices guys, come on. Suggestion, the minimum you should do is bake those biscuits less time and cut them in half, smear vegan butter and then put the sauce on top. That will soften it up. We also had a plain croissant, that was fine, its hard to make a vegan one so I will take it for what it is. Finally, get some decaf guys. Promising but still needs major work in the kitchen. Overpriced for current quality of food.

This patisserie is fabulous. The staff is kind and welcoming and patient with kids who have a hard time deciding between all the fabulous choices. The tables are clean and so are the bathrooms. I highly recommend this place as an afternoon pick me up or a fun, special breakfast out.

Pastries to die for!And mean to die for in comparison to non-vegan pastries, not just in comparison to other vegan pastries. London Fog tea latte also Fab. I dont know how they do this without milk or eggs, but better than most regular bakeries! Service wonderful, ambiance clean and comfy. Restrooms non-gender- specific and emaculate.

I came to Passion Flour for an afternoon brunch with my girlfriend. She chooses to stay away from bread and kindly asked to have their chicken salad sandwich served over greens in lieu of bread. The two young women working explained they couldnt do that. I asked if they had greens in house and they stared blankly at me, explaining they had no way to charge for that. Their proposed solution was to charge her the full price and just skip the bread. As fun as that sounded, she politely declined. Both me and my girlfriend are die-hard vegans who love supporting local businesses, but after being flat out refused simple accommodation, will take our business elsewhere after years of supporting Jessica and her delicious product.

My favourite thing here is their London Fog drink. Delicious! Their almond croissants are finger licking good. Love that they use organic ingredients and offer gluten green and vegan options.

Absolutely underwhelming and disappointing. I (vegan) brought my non-vegan family here to show that vegan pastries are just as good, which has always been my experience. The cupcakes I ordered were dry and the frosting was sickeningly sweet and grainy from the sugar. I have made better pastries at home for a fraction of the price.Sad that this will be my familys first vegan experience.

My non vegan mom says Came here for a lunch date with my vegan daughter and was amazed! Everything was delicious! We had coffee cake that was to die for, a couple of gourmet lattes, and a sandwich. Impressed by it all!

I came in around 2 PM on a Sunday . And it was pretty slow inside . The server started off by letting me know that they were out of pretty much everything .. and then on top of that - they will not honor modifications . She did not have a good attitude or good customer service . AT ALL .I ordered the lavender butter toast, as that was the most appealing thing left on the menu since they were out of so many other things . I also got a London fog latte (also because they were out of the actual tea I wanted) . Once I started with my choices I realized that they were both almost tasteless . My favorite part was the side salad . And that’s INSANE because I’m not a balsamic vinaigrette person . But that was the only thing with the most flavor . This is my second time in and I am just not impressed at all .. should have went to Big O donuts or City Cakes instead .

Beautifully decorated establishment with a calm welcoming ambiance. Delicious coffee and pastries in a petite setting, reminiscent of France. All in all a groovy spot for vegans and non vegans alike. Just dont ask for honey. 😉
