Easily one of the best local coffee shops in Sugar House. Added bonus, the food is REALLY good. My favorite lunchy thing is the Wasatch Salad, and the breakfast burritos are a great pick too. There is a drive-through window, but I usually order inside and then chill at one of their outside tables because its a nice break.
Delicious! Absolutely amazing. We got a Bull Moose Burrito and a ham & havarti toasted, honey nut latte and German chocolate latte. Wished my honey nut had a touch more nutty flavor, next time I will probably double the amount of hazelnut and will take one of their scrumptious pastries to go. Staff was friendly, it was busy but timely. They werent just standing around hating their jobs disengaged like some other coffee shops Ive been to. Very lively people and killer menu. It was a great experience. Will definitely be back regularly!
Some of the best food at a coffee shop Ive ever had. Excellent coffee too. I get the mint moose mocha. Delicious 😋
Love Red Moose! Always have, always will. They have great prices on drinks and food, and their breakfast burritos and bagel sandwiches are amazing! They also have tons of alternate milks including hemp milk! Oh and they dont charge an arm and a leg for a dirty chai! 😉😁❤️ Friendly staff with great customer service too.
I have been visiting this place for years. Their coffee is delicious. My 93 year old grandpa loved their cinnamon rolls and I used to take one to him every weekend. Their customer service is fast, friendly, and professional. I love to support this local coffee company and their coffee is the best!
Good vegan burrito. Please put your vegan options on your menu!! I just happened to ask for vegan substitutions otherwise I would not have known!
Tasty coffe choices with a wide variety of pastries, fun place to come and socialize with friends. They have some great made to order food as well. I quite like the bull moose burrito.
The red moose patio is one of my favorite places to while away an hour or two on a sunny spring or fall morning! They have great coffee and delicious, affordable breakfast choices. The breakfast burrito is always reliable (the vegan sausage option is worth a try!) but so are the quiches, croissants and scones. It can get pretty crowded indoors at peak brunch time, but Ive always found a table. I really appreciate they use real rather than disposable items if youre eating in, and the coffee mugs are sensational.
Great coffee, great service. The go to for gourmet coffee. Food was delicious for having limited choices, as expected with a coffee shop
Prompt service considering it is really busy. I recommend the breakfast burrito with chorizos.
Great place. Very relaxing and friendly staff! Love the breakfast burritos
Would highly recommend this place! They have an excellent selection of breakfast and lunch foods and coffee options. I ordered a GF breakfast sandwich and it did not disappoint! The ambience is tasteful and service was friendly. Would stop here again if I am ever back in Salt Lake! Also, for those interested in reducing your styrofoam usage, my sandwich came in a very functional compostable container.Edit: I forgot, they also have a great selection of hot sauces! Sriracha, Cholula, and then also ketchup and others.
My go to for coffee and food. Great coffee. Great food. Excellent service. Highly recommend
Waited over half an hour to get lunch in the drive through. I don’t know how it takes so long - there was one customer ahead of me in line. No clue who is running this place.
This spot is so good. A friend wanted to meet here, and it was my first time. There’s not much parking available, but inside is bigger than it looks, plus they have outside seating available. Inside the decor has a cabin feel, which is very nice. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo and pepper jack cheese, it was not too spicy, but damn good! I also ordered a chai tea which was unbelievable. I’m not in this area much, but I’ll definitely come back again when I’m in the area. If you enjoyed this review, please give it a thumbs up 👍
This small building is... hoppin! Great customer service! Received service from Audrey and was very attentive, quick, and professional. They work hard and know the business of coffee. Support local! The quality here is memorable.
Good prices, good food, good coffee. The only problem is the flys. Seriously there are tons of them, they need some fly sticky strips
This place does NOT MESS AROUND !!!their coffee is so good and their breakfast burrito is just *chefs kiss*
Like most people are saying the breakfast burrito is pretty good. I got the bacon one and it weighs in at about half a pound (so Ill probably need to get 2 next time), but its a fair portion of eggs and bacon with a hint of cheese, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Really not bad for a coffee shop.
The scones here are amazing, coffee here is delicious. They have good customer service. They have a large menu and I have not found a single item that is not good.
Coffee was served at the perfect temp to drink right away. I ordered the turkey, cranberry, pesto sandwich and it was Delicious!! Its double the size of a normal sandwich so be prepared for that. The two gals working were super cute and nice. The place is very clean. Would recommend.
I love this place! Best coffee, chai and food.As you can tell by my photo, the burrito is fat, hot and was delicious. With every penny. The potatoes were incredible. Its hotter than the gates of hell, so be patient when you get it. The pumpkin chai was pretty incredible too. I freaking loved it and will for sure order it again. The only thing that bums me out is they always post amazing photos of delicious treats on instagram, but I never make it at a time they have them. If I didnt live si far away (18 miles but who is counting) maybe id be able to get some.
The light roast I got was really weak, and the stuffed crossaint was like gas station quality. I was disappointed.
Red moose is my Sunday tradition! From the breakfast burrito to the brownies and to the dirty iced chai all freaking AMAZING I hope my coffee shop can be this good!!
Well the gal working was very nice, hardworking and helpful. She would be a great employee or manager. Unfortunately, the coffee was horrible.
The place is very cozy, and has a good energy, wonderful things to taste, I literally recommend 💕
Fantastic baked good, awful bitter coffee, and impersonal service. So, I love visiting local coffee shops wherever I go on my adventures. Its one of those things that almost sets the mood for the day. Sometimes the coffee is great, sometimes not so much. But what makes the difference for me is the interaction with the people behind the counter. This interaction was like many Ive experienced in Salt Lake City so far: impersonal and uncaring, like Im a resource and not a human bean. A bit much? Maybe. Either way, the coffee was supremely bitter, and the glazed pumpkin muffin supremely moist and delicious, the seating outside very comfortable albeit a bit loud with the intersection right there.Come here for the baked goods, bring your own coffee??
The coffee was bad. Everything else was good, but I wouldnt order the coffee again.
They have the BEST blts! 🔥🔥🔥⭐
Awesome little coffee shop. The place can get very busy but the staff is on point running back and forth taking care of everybody in a timely fashion.
I’ve been here about 20+ times and customer service every time has been outstanding.
This place was so good! We got the Harvest sandwich, the bagel sandwich, breakfast burrito and the south western panini. It was all so good! Ill definitely be back.
Amazing find in the Sugar House area of salt lake. Coffee was delicious with some fun seasonal picks and breakfast was just what this road trip family needed to start their day. We had the breakfast burritos and they were outstanding. If they ask if you want their pico the answer is YES!
I used to live just down the block from Red Moose Coffee and the service and coffee had always been outstanding. Happened to be passing through SLC today and stopped by RMCC on my way out of town. Happy to report they are still rad as ever and continue to brew awesome coffee!Thx!
Tried visiting again and the wait in the drive thru was a half hour for a quesadilla. After sitting in the sun with no AC for 30 minutes I asked for a refund and was refused. The employee told me I dont know what youre expecting it takes time to melt cheese She eventually brought a half quesadilla out, not a whole one still no apology or refund, and told me to call ahead next time. I told her there wouldnt be a next time. Old revoew- Im glad to hear that she replied.Amazed at the rude and low quality service Red moose used to be a favorite. I did request a phone call from the owner.-mm wondering why the drive thru is so aggressive about t ipping
Awesome local place. It is obvious their food is fresh...the menu is diverse and offers something for everyone. Will definitely eat here again.
The Red Moose is amazing I wish I would’ve tried them sooner!!! Food is always amazing!Their frozen coffee has the most soft creamy and light texture and the flavor the the hazel nut is not over powering just perfect!!!! If your wondering if you should try it the answer is yes!!!!! Oh and the customer service is so friendly and inviting!!!
My favorite spot for a great Mocha and tasty vegetarian breakfast burrito! Thank u Red Moose for providing comfort food during these hard cold times 💜
The croissants are the best! I would not recommend the fruit parfaits, but the service is always kind and chipper.
Red Moose Cafe is one of my favorite places to go for an awesome breakfast burrito or breakfast sandwich.. The coffee is absolutely on point, their laté’s are alright nothing too special there. They do have freshly squeezed Orange Juice which is really tasty. If your into Vegas, they have a few of those, but they do have special danishes and muffins that are bomb. The only thing they are missing is mimosas! Highly recommend to anyone in the area
Oh my goodness! The breakfast burritos are divine! Kind service and interesting feel to the shop. Get the extra picante sauce for your burrito, thank me later!
The breakfast burritos here are to die for! Best spot in town for coffee and breakfast on the go!
I got a breakfast burrito with chorizo and pepper jack and it was delicious!! The staff was very kind as well, highly recommend
The breakfast burrito just knocked my socks off! But the cold vanilla latte put them back on. But the breakfast burrito is simply choice. If you have the means I highly recommend you experience it.
Love this little local gem. If I lived closer Id visit regularly. The scones are flavorful and tender, the breakfast burrito was good but could have used some salsa on the side, coffee was great, service was good, COVID safe practices in place.
Tasty food and great coffee flavors! If you are in SLC, definitely stop in for brekkie!
Coffee was on the weaker side but I did go around closing, was still good.
Website says that you can dine in. Went there to meet an old friend and they said that the outdoor benches is the dine in area. Waste of our time.
I really liked the vibe of the place, and the service was really friendly. A lot of the baked goods I saw looked great, and I also saw some of the food from the kitchen which looked nice. Unfortunately the coffee was pretty bland and the brownie I picked just wasnt that good. I LOVE brownies, but this one left a weird taste and I almost didnt finish it. Id go back and try different food and try a stronger coffee because the place is so cute d the staff were so good.
Always great food, coffee and service. The food is always fresh and good size portions.
Amazing place! The breakfast sandwich with vegan sausage was pretty good and the place has good vibes.
My son and I love eating breakfast here. It is a small place, but they have great coffee, a good breakfast selection, and a nice assortment of pastries (my son likes the macaroons). We moved out of SLC, so we are missing our weekend spot something fierce.
Cool gift ideas. Great coffee staff knowledgeable
One of my favorite coffee place to go to! I love coming here for breakfast and to work on stuff. The staff is always friendly as well. The specials are usually a little to sweet for my liking, but what are you gonna do? Great selection of food!
Unfathomably delicious baked goods and pretty good coffee with free refills. Awesome place to hang out and get some work done, especially on the patio in the warmer months. They also serve food, but it’s pretty pricey.Staff are super friendly and the parking lot is really convenient.
Good coffee and food! Outdoor seating available.
Love this place :) Good coffee, nice staff, free refills~hello, their maple bacon scones are pretty bomb, and the patio is surprisingly nice for being like right off of the road. Its a pretty good place to come if you have a little bit of work to do or if you just want a cheap, tasty breakfast burrito. Two thumbs up
This isnt your ordinary coffee shop. They have a nice variety of pasties plus a full menu of breakfast and lunch items. The food is freshly prepared and quite delicious. Drink local, eat local.
Delicious! Not a quick stop
Best coffee house in Sugar House - great coffee, wonderful atmosphere, and you can always find a cozy nook to sip your drink. They offer three levels of milk choice for lattes, but will mix to get the one you like if they dont have it. Incredible service. I do miss the concrete counter though...
This is the place for coffee. We love buying a bag and taking it home to use. This is also a great place for breakfast or lunch. It is a pretty popular spot and has limited parking but there is additional street parking or across the street.
Been coming here for years. Love their coffee! I can take it black and it is never too bitter. Large food menu too, and everything is fresh and made to order. Staff is friendly.
This was a nice quaint place. I took a friend who is a vegetarian and I am not and we were both able to get some very good food. We were won over by the service and the quality of the food. I will definitely be returning and bringing other friends.
Closed early. Busier than usual listed.
Delicious and high quality food, really efficient kitchen, they kill it. Baked goods are on point. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that some of the staff is really quite rude. Literally everything about this coffee shop is top notch except for the consistent rudeness of a few. Been going here for three years, its head and shoulders above every other coffee shop in the area, but Ive just come to expect short, rude exchanges with some staff.
Food is good and service is friendly.
I was really nervous about coming to this place because red scares me. you know just a color in general, its just kind of freaky but its more of an off-red than an actual like cherry red so youre good.
Humble Coffee had great atmosphere and attentive service. I only had a black coffee, but it was very good. My favorite thing about this cafe is the different types of chairs and tables. There are lower ones, higher ones, booths, inside or outside seating. The decoration is also very pleasant.
I love the employees here! They’re not grumpy, but they don’t fake their smiles. They’re friendly people who really care about making fast, delicious food for us. The prices are great and it’s just all-around a really good place. If you want a quiet environment to read or something like that, I recommend red moose. It’s awesome.
Stumbled into this place while in Sugar House, because I had missed breakfast that morning. A South Western sandwich hit the spot. Great little place with a quick friendly staff. Definitely will swing back by this place.
Really great coffee and atmosphere. Got the milky way coffee and enjoyed it a lot. Since its such a good place, it can get crowded and you may not be able to find a place to sit.
Red Moose is the best! I absolutely LOVE their breakfast burritos & coffee! They have wonderful service and such a great atmosphere.
Delicious breakfast. Doing a good job of adapting to the pandemic.
Cute place for good food. I really like their Orange Juice. I would highly recommend this place.
Super nice staff and great place to get work done. Sadly the coffee missed the mark a bit for me. Basically just coffee flavored water :/
Absolutely love this little cafe in the Sugarhouse area. Used to drink coffee and eat wonderful cinnamon rolls w/ peanut butter here almost every weekend when I lived right around the corner. I still stop by here on the occasion Im in the area. The staff are super nice and the coffee and food are wonderful. I commonly recommend this place.
Have only been here once or twice but I have seen it numerous times and it reminds me of MONTANA the state I moved here from! The name is so MONTANA chic if you will. It is too cute that I had to try it. Theres decent size inside the shop for studying, reading, or even hanging out in a group. They have a decent amount of food options if you are not vegan or gluten or dairy free.I tried ice tea when I came here because I had already had one too many cups of coffee for the day (I know I know, how is that even possible?!). The tea I got was delicious and refreshing! You can enjoy them hot or cold.Outdoor seating which is the best for summer! Convenient hours and right by 900 E if you are going down or coming up 1700 S.
Been coming here since we moved to Utah. Quality of the coffee and food has remained high. Definitely a good spot. Only downside is a small parking lot.
Pretty great food and atmosphere. The bang for the buck is unmatched. Really good tasting fresh food and their sconces are to die for. Full of flavor and color. Delicious and I will be returning!!!
Most of the time quick service and friendly customer service.
A wonderfully cozy little coffee shop with a rocky mountain aesthetic that really suits the mood. The service is quick and the coffee is wonderful. The pastries and breakfast dishes are also amazingly delicious. if youre there on Saturday morning, order the breakfast burrito. This place is perfect for a nice breakfast, or a quick cup of morning coffee!
Great food and atmosphere. Chill place with good decoration and nice staff. I reccomend the breakfast burrito
Great vibe, great food, great coffee. Staff is hit or miss. Some are friendly. A few are cold and curt to customers they dont personally know.
I spend a lot of my time over there. Calm, relaxing vibe if you want to sit and people watch. Great frappichinos! This location impressed me.
This place is awesome. Food, beverages, and staff are exceptional. My only reason for 4 stars is that it gets really cold in here, so much that I level a lot sooner then I would like.
Couple of warnings: I waited awhile at the drive up - enough to wonder if they were actually open - and then as I started to drive away someone appeared. Latte was a little on the overly burned side but that’s how I like it so bonus for me. I was mainly annoyed that it cost 1.25 more than their menu said. Like, it’s one thing if it’s slightly outdated but going from $3.75 to $5.25 😬 I guess $.25 of that probably was tax but that’s still more than $1.00 more than their menu.
Sweet local coffee and light breakfast and lunch menu. Friendly staff, tasty food, good coffee and set up with device cords and wifi. Inside and outside seating.
Oh such good food, such great coffee, and oh my what an amazing staff! Great ambiance lends to a fabulous dining experience.
Pretty neat place for coffee. They have salads that sound pretty good. Coffee is warm and tasty, lacking the bitterness I find in many local coffee houses. The boy and I walked over here after shoveling snow. He recommends the chocolate chip cookie dipped in hot chocolate.
First time in, and I Love It!Christmas eve, we did not realize they were closing early and the Red Moose and Super Friendly staff saved the day! I had a coffee and Lox Bagel, my Wife had a waffle. They really just were so friendly....We will be back, at the minimum --- a million thanks and happy holidays!
Tasty coffee. Good food. Seating is tight, but if they make good food and draw a crowd, who am I to complain?
Their cold brew is amazing!
Need to hire more people, gave me a water down “frozen” mocha, and said thats how they come... this was my first experience, and only, cheap cheap service....A poor quality of coffee
Quickly becoming my favorite coffee shop. Super friendly staff that likes to have fun, along with some of the best scones (according to my girlfriend) and a big menu. Hoping to go to one of the red moose after dark menus once they open back up! (Closed for holidays and private parties)
I come to Red Moose on a weekly basis for a standing work meeting. Consistently good drinks, food, and service. Their scones are the best Ive had at any bakery / coffee shop! Its rarely too busy and you can always find a table or nook. Theres always parking in the lot or on the local neighborhood streets. The owner is always working the front, so shes on top of providing good service.
