The food here is good and the price is a little cheaper than most restaurant around it.Dont come though if youre super hungry. I want to like this place but the wait time is unbelievable. The wait time from waiting to be seated, for them to get back to you to take your order, to by the time they serve your food will take at least 30-45 minutes. And this is pretty consistent regardless of the time of day and even if the place is only half (or less) full. I think theres only 2 personnel running all the tasks at the same time. If youre not in a hurry though and not starving, I think its worth the wait and you will be served with delicious ang piping hot dish.
Amazing, tasty food!! Most Authentic Chinese food I’ve eaten in Utah. Their menu is huge! Our server was sweet and although she was busy with other orders and tables, she made sure to take our order correctly. I don’t understand why other people complain about the wait time! It literally says there’s one cook, one server, and one wok at the entrance! My family and I are definitely going back! If you are looking for Authentic Chinese food, this is the place!
We ordered beef egg foo young and general tso and its the best weve had here in Utah! Kudos to the chefs!!
It tooks a little time to be served and the food ready, but it was worth it!...taste so delicious an full, a little overpricey for the size but its ok
I came to Utah to visit my brother, and he brought me to this place for dim sum. He said they offer the best dim sum in town, and I totally agree! They also offer Chinese-American dishes for those that arent ready to try dim sum (such as General Tsos chicken) The owner is very very friendly. My only criticism is their 菠蘿包 (pineapple bun) They have a pastry counter at checkout that sells different chinese pastries and desserts. I love pineapple bun so I ordered two, however when I got home and ate it, it was very dry and no taste. I did order it late evening like 7pm so perhaps they made it in the morning and sat there all day before I ordered it. But yeah, thats my only criiticism. Their dum sim is superb!
We arrived at restaurant half hour after they open, and were told the baked dim sum food were not ready. We ordered one congee to eat and the other congee to go. The one to eat there had everything in it, but the other to go congee was mostly water with a little rice in it. They only accepted cash for payment or we had to wait that day because they said that their credit card machine, which linked to WIFI somehow, usually does not work on a rainy and windy day. Very disappointed.
Great food and good price. We LOVE them.....
Excellent dim sum, great food, nice people. We often come here on Saturday afternoons. The food is always good. The dim sum is not to be missed. The food is authentic Cantonese and Chinese. The baked treats at the counter are quite tasty as well. If you are in the mood for authentic Chinese cuisine, then this would be a good choice.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town! The menu is large, and everything I have ordered has been delicious. The food always comes out hot, and everything is very flavorful. I enjoy the freshly steamed dim sum and freshly baked Cantonese style buns. It is a cozy, family owned restaurant, and the recipes are authentic. Definitely my favorite spot in town for Cantonese style food.
This is a Hong Kong style restaurant offering many choices of food. Since there are only one chef and one waitress there, you may wait for long time to get the food. I came just after they opened at 5:30 pm. I was fine. The food was amazing! If you plan to order any rice casserole which is cooked in a clay pot. It usually takes long time to make it around 20-30 minutes. This is normal. If you have patient and want to eat real Hong Kong style food. This is the one!! The prices are the best but I don’t recommend the bakery. I ordered the pineapple bun which is just ok.
Tasty and fast for a one wok affair! Staff a bit spacey (she forgot my tea) and they run out of things fast. Worth it whatever you order though!
5-star bakery, 3-star okay-ish dim sum, 5-star pricesMelon Pan here is $1.25 while next door supermarket sells for $1.99. Ouch.$1.00 egg tart sounds good but sold out
So disappointing!! I wanted so soup Dumplings, they were so over cook. No soup in it. Food was over cooked! The server gave us forks, when asked for chop sticks she ignored us. Service was terrible and food was just as bad.
During this period, they also insisted on high-quality food and cheap prices, which was very gratifying.
Good food at good prices. My wife and I love this place.
I had a bad experience at this dishonest business! All the entrées are grouped by meat type. I chose the bbq pork, everything costs around $9 except for tripe which I didnt get. I chose picture on the bottom left.Service was absolutely horrible, plates were dirty and food less than ok.Bill came and now my dish is $16, I asked why only to be TOLD that is the price and that its not listed on the menu. Tried nicely to explaine only to be TOLD again the item in the picture is $16 and not listed anywhere.Needless to say paying double for a mediocre dish has me upset. Youll regret it if you eat here.
No service from servers waited 30 minutes for no reason. Left and went to Dim Sum. Fast friendly service and the food was good.
Although the waiting time was a little bit long, the food and price were great.
Every menu item we have tried has tasted great!! And good value! But service is slow.
Very delicious tofu dishes. Baked goods are excellent!
I was born and grow up in Hong Kong and this place reminds me a lot of comfort foods I used to have back home. I don’t understand why people complaining a lot about wait time and service when the sign at the cashier literally said they only have one wok one waiter and one cook .
The food is fine. Thats why I rated 2 stars instead of 1. The service is extremly bad. It looks they care nothing about customer. Never expect a good experience there.
Great quality food and service. Will go there again.
Expect service? No.Expect real Chinese Food? OK, not bad.If you dont mind long waiting time for food, and search for a real chinese food. Its Ok though.
Freshly made, taste good,But the store was not well maintained
I was skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had Orange Chix, fried rice and spring roll. Big portions and very tasty. Ill be back.
Chicken feet were delicious 😋
Food is awesome. Issue is restaurant is too small. People with disabilities block walkways and things get
Went there for dim sum. The service wasnt that good because the place is short of staff, so it didnt bother me. However the food was not very good. The prices were very affordable, so its ok if you are craving for dim sum. Not too bad, but not good.
Great dim sum with good prices! Super cozy family-run restaurant, perfect for satisfying your dim sum cravings. Will definitely go back.
While it wasnt my first pick for the day, a few of ou ur favorite chinese restraunts were closed. So we stopped by this place. And we we had no regrets. Their rice rolls are delicious and as good if not better than any Dim Sum webhave had at other restraunts. This place is definitely a visit. We will definitely be back.
Oh My GOSH! THAT WAS HORRIBLE! The food was fine, but that was its only redeeming quality. The are severely understaffed. We waited an hour for our food. The general Taos chicken was bland and dry. The atmosphere is ok but the dead plants around the dining room dont help.
Very inpersonanle....didnt feel welcome...food was great
Got food poisoning from this place eat on Sunday 12/21/21 went to doctor 12/22/21Both wife and I now trying to recover. 1st we realize not much people eating there, which thinking about it.. the food is not fresh..
If I could rate with zero stars I would. Waited fo 1 hour to get Dim Sum. Orderrd 7 items waitress same and said no spRe ribs. Food might have been good but never tasted it we left.
Every time we go here it is so delicious! It’s very authentic and fresh. It’s worth the 30 minute drive for us.
My guy ordered over a hr ago, ( to go) and food wasnt really yet.
Great dimsum! I especially like their turnip cakes. Theyre a little slammed, staff-wise, so order ahead!
Dont get me wrong the food here is great, but the service is the worst I have ever recieved. My guest and I were seated at the restaurant for an hour before they got any food out to us. When they did finally get food to us, it was 1 of the dim sums we had ordered. 2 bites a piece, after an hour of waiting. It was impossible to talk to the server. We finally decided to ask the waitress how long our food would take, to which she let us know that the food we had ordered was actually no longer available. During the hour we were waiting for food, she did not even come to tell us some of the food we had ordered was not available until we asked. They didnt get the last thing we ordered out to us until after we had been here for an hour and a half. We could have finished our meal and been on our way in an hour and a half. Again, the food is great but I recommend going elsewhere.
Small family owned restaurant serving dim sum and a full Chinese menu. The food is very tasty and the dim sum is the best in SLC and at a great price. Limited staff so may need to be patient with service on a busy day, but its worth the wait.
Horrible food, one server, dirty tables, waitress and cook fighting very loud....REALLY need to figure things out here. Go next door to the Noodle shop. Much better.
Food has always been great and authentic. But the service here needs improvement. We waited over one hour for our food to come out and there are people after us that got their food before us. If you have all the time in the world this place is for you. Otherwise I won’t recommend coming here to do even a pick up order.
The service is terrible! 10 minutes after finishing our food, we still didn’t get our chicken feet! Theses are preheated dishes and shouldn’t take that long. When we are ready to order and wave my hand, both girls at the counter ignored us! I would give a 0 star if I have the choice!
Good food at a reasonable price, they just take forever to serve it.
Had Korean food. Great customer service. Food was amazing. They gave us free food refills!
The most worst food I ever ate in my life do not go there if you dont want to get sick
This restaurant has the best Chinese food Ive eaten in many years. Go try it, your taste buds will jump for joy !!!!!
Authentic. Step outside utah and back into China townThis is home cooked food!
Food was good, many options to choose from. The waiting time for them to prepare was quite long than many other Similar restaurants
Interesting place. The service is lacking of course but the food totally made up for it. My husband is addicted to breads from their display.
The food was good but the service was not. we ordered online delivery and i got my food wrong. we tried to call and call but no one is answering. we waited for the food for like more than an hour to be delivered and when we have it we found out the food in plastic was wrong. we always like eating here but for delivery? not recommended. super disappointed.
Just fine
Real Chinese food 💖 love it
Hot sizzling steak plate is excellent I love this place
Very good
Authentic southeastern chinese food. Its my go to comfort food when hubgry for some real chinese food.
The food here is really good. We always get dim sum. The service is pretty bad usually. The owner is the only one serving and taking orders in the morning so it can take a while. Especially when half of the people are sitting and the other half are trying to order at the register. Overall its worth the price though.
I go here all the time. Staff is friendly and their Spicy Beef Noodle Soup is amazing. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out
The food is awesome! The service can be slow if its busy, but if you can go when its a bit slower, its totally worth it! Good prices for awesome food!
Great freshly made chinese food for amazing value
The food is really good but the service is really really bad! Like way bad! Order Togo only do not dine-in you will regret it!
Absolutely great tasting authentic Chinese food at very reasonable prices!!!
Good food at reasonable prices. Wife enjoyed the bakery options. Food is made fresh, so expect to wait, unless its a bakery item. Kids enjoyed the hotdogs wrapped in a fresh baked bun. They have a lot of options and many are not served in regular Chinese restaurants.
Didnt like it took to long to get our food
I only rated this for the service. What service? No greeting at all when we walked in. We were the one who said hello, we were the one who got our table ( and there was no other customer inside) . Part of going to a restaurant is not just for the food, its also for the experience. Sadly a lot of these kind of Chinese restaurants only care about your money, never bother to give any service. And the food? No thanks! We walked out. Why subject ourselves to that kind of treatment.
We were the only people in the restaurant when we walked in. My husband ordered a soup. The people that came in 5 minutes after us got their food before us. We left before I got my noodles because why go out to eat to wait 45 minutes to get ok food?
One of my to-go places to eat Cantonese food. Love their egg fuyoung, Singapore noodles, mapo tofu, etc.
Food amazing like always. But service was a little low. Kinda rude when you have all these people who seemed to either own the place or something be yelling in their language like theres noone around
Pop in and grab a to go of Chicken Chow Mein! It is simple, well composed with flavor, with tender grilled chicken and onions. It is ready for you to add what ever sauces you are into😋 Mmmm! if you enjoy easy and light food, this is a menu must have!
Came here to eat dim sum. Service is terrible and we waited an hour for them to even order our food. There was about six different parties/tables all sitting waiting for food to be made. Food took forever. Dishes are very dirty and not cleaned enough. Very small and crowded and workers don’t have customer service etiquette. Go to Dim Sum House instead!
I recommend the sesame bean curd roll. You won’t regret it. Can’t wait to try their hot food next time.
The best Dim sum ❤
Do not get Dim Sum here. And the service was painfully slow
We went there for the first time today and loved it! The food is authentic Cantonese.
Good service. Good food.
Very good food. Good service. Appeared clean.
Very slow, waiting more than 40mins for only two noodles.
I loved this place! Had chicken noodles😋 there fried rice & orange chicken was so GOOD!
I would definitely go to this place again.
Wonderful traditional dim sum restaurant!
Sometimes you have to wait its a ma and pa run
Good place for some authentic Cantonese fast food.
Oh great bowls of noodles!
Four stars only because I havent tried everything on the menu yet
Good food and people are not to close together
Very rude!! I can see why it was not that busy at all. We order for take out and she say 10 minute. 30 minute later I went to ask if my order is ready and she just ignored me and as a group of people come in she start talking to them in front of me.
Loved the hong Kong pineapple buns! Ones you buy at the store are never as delicious.
Came here and waited for 20 minutes without being approached by a single worker. Never even got a menu.
Best Chinese food in SLC!
