If your looking to do custom curtains or romans in your next project you will want to check this place out! I’m so excited to see how my project turns out after having Designers Resource measure and make my curtains. The lead time is about 4 weeks from measure and I can’t wait to see them all completed!

Came in to find some nice apparel fabric for my son’s blessing outfit. I told the woman there (I think she was an owner or manager) what I was looking for, and showed her a picture of the outfit I was trying to recreate. She immediately pointed me to this poly/cotton blend: white with subtle stripes, soft, and wrinkle-resistant. The fabric washed and sewed beautifully and looked wonderful on my little guy! Also had a very good drape and flexible movement.The pricing was more expensive than Joann’s, but very fair. You get what you pay for. I paid $15/yd for this fabric and couldn’t be happier. (I bought the piping & buttons at Joann.)

I drove by this place several times and judged it by the outside. The sign was falling apart, building had zero appeal! Finally went in and can only rave about the selection of material and the friendly staff. A really wonderful place.

Found a fabric for my project. I was disappointed couldnt get a sample fabric for another project I was thinking of. I will go some where else for that job.

The selection is hands down, the best. There is a huge variety of textiles and it doesnt seem to end. To the point where you can get lost and overwhelmed. They have sample pieces cut and attached to the card in the roll, so thats very convenient and helpful. Unfortunately on my visit the young man that was working was not very helpful and seemed to be bothered that I had a question. I left without feeling helped and I grabbed some samples for the project working on. I sent my husband in a couple weeks later with a sample I found to purchase. He was able to get the upholstery and it is prefect! When my husband went in, he also did not has a pleasant experience with the same young man, nor was he helpful or friendly.

Definitely a hidden gem, they have more fabrics in one place than I have EVER seen. As others have said it is incredibly deceiving from the outside. It looks quite small, but it feels like it never ends inside - I could definitely get lost in there.The only reason its getting four instead of five, is the organization. I found it hard to find what I was looking for, and although I did leave with some fabric, it was not what I wanted to leave with. I felt very overwhelmed and didnt know where to get what I really wanted, and the labeling wasnt exactly clear, so I picked up something I knew would work but wasnt ideal. There was also really only one person available to help, so I was unable to get some specialized help which is really what I needed. I feel like after going a couple times I wont feel as overwhelmed, it was my first time there.I would absolutely recommend going if youre looking for fabrics for pretty much anything.

Fav place in town. I’m a fashion designer, so not always being in LA is tough when looking for specialty fabrics. This place always has something I need! And it’s HUGE. Heading there now, actually.
