Absolutely 💯 amazing service!! Super clean place, patience, friendly, yes was a little busy and had to wait but the doctor Blankenship stepped in as well and helped us out as well! TEAM doesnt have a I in it! I will definitely be back for the rest of the family.
Please go somewhere else to get your glasses, its not worth the money that you pay for a pair of glasses that fog constantly and apparently they used best quality lens. The optician only treats you nice at the first time just to get peoples money but if a problem appears she likes to play stupid and wont fix the root problem she talks to the people like we are dumb and we are purchasing first pair of glasses. Never in my life will come back to purchase eye glasses at this place and Im definitely not recommending this place to none of my family or friends.
Absolutely the best experience my family had. They were so friendly, and professional. Definitely recommend for everybody!
Although we did receive amazing service for the exam we were told that today my daughters glasses would be ready, we could pick them up but at 12:30 they go to lunch until 2. When we arrived they had their sign closed till 2:30 now it’s going on 3 and they are still not open.Update: although having things “cleared up” as in letting me know they had a family emergency. There were other steps that could have taken place such as having a back up plan in case of such emergencies. I never agreed to take down my review just was asked to through a reply left on my review. I do understand emergencies happen. However other measures should have taken place incase of emergency situations were to occur just to ensure your customers are taken care of as well. Updated to 3 stars because I understand the situation but they can work on a incase of emergency situation route.
Really? a $5.00 chinese frame, a $1.00 plastic lens, a $12.00 an hour technician grinding the lens equals $470 for a pair of glasses?and refusing to let people leave with their prescription unless they buy a pair of glasses is unethical and possibly illegal.
During my latest eye exam with Dr. Blankenship, he recommended I use the in-house Optical Center. I don’t fault him for his recommendation, but I will definitely stick with Walmart going forward. For starters, I ordered two pairs of glasses on 18 January 2021 and I’m writing this well-deserved ONE STAR review on 8 March after having had to call and ask for the status of my second pair of glasses.I received the first pair a little over a month ago and I absolutely abhor them. The doctor recommended bi-focals for my glasses and I paid handsomely to have the lenses created in a way to hide the bi-focal line. The technician that initially assisted me was very professional and she did her best to line the bi-focals up, but I was wearing a mask during the eye measurements. However, where the bi-focals are placed in my glasses makes it difficult to see so I have a pair of glasses for $370 that are sitting on my desk while I continue to do my work. In addition, when I picked up the first pair no one explained to me how to use bi-focals so I spent a week lifting my glasses up and down to see. The technician did apologize for this after I told her that I trouble seeing. As to the pair of glasses that I paid $624.80 (with a discount) that I have yet to receive.... When I initially explained how poorly the first pair helped me to see, the initial technician decided to redo the lenses so that they were for “long-distance” only. The second pair were made just like the first so I appreciated the consideration even though I paid for “bi-focal” lenses. A sunk cost is a sunk cost...Last Tuesday, I got a call from the Vision Center to say my lenses were in, but that they forgot what they needed to do with them (...). After I reminded them that I needed “long-distance” lenses made I waited and waited and waited for a call to pick up my glasses. I called on Friday and left a message (during open hours) as no one picked up the phone or returned my call.Today, I called to check on the status and was told my glasses should be ready after lunch and that I would be called. I’ve been told this before and they do not call. I’ve always had to call and check in on “my” glasses. I’m sorely disappointed that I paid $1,000 for two measly pairs of eye glasses that I could have gotten from Walmart for a third of the price and they actually call you to tell you your glasses are ready. Not only, Walmart does a great job making glasses and I have the same “bells and whistles” so I’m still scratching my head why I paid so much. Valuable Lesson Learned. If I could give three zeros for this review and customer service I absolutely, positively would. I’ve tried to be patient with the delays due to the remaking of the lenses and Texas Snowmageddon 2021 but this is ridiculous.UPDATE to RESPONSE:Having lived in Germany for three years as a service member, I really don’t need a lesson in German engineering but thank you for the feedback. Danke. If the lenses are not of poor quality as you so eloquently tried to state, then the problem must lie with your current processes. As I mentioned previously, as your customer I have a pair of eye glasses that were not made well for me or I never would have had the second set changed. Again, I paid to have a professional pair of glasses made — it wouldn’t have mattered to me if the lenses came from Wakanda or Walmart. The only thing needed is for your office to call and tell me I can pick up the glasses I paid for. Understandably, you can assume I will not have VisonRx Optical provide any additional services after this point.
Great service!
