This place has a variety of bagels which can be made into a sandwich or customised as one or just have them with cream cheese. I ordered jalapeno bagel with garlic cheeze customised with egg, avacado and tomatoes and all in all, it was delicious!! Definitely recommended!

Great nova lox and California bagel as always! Coffee is from bird rock, and a medium for $2.50 gives you about 16 oz of excellent flavor. Towards lunch, there arent many fruity bagels left (mostly plain and more savory options like onion and asiago), which are usually my go-to anyway. Fast service and friendly staff! Would definitely come again.

This place is amazing! I have used Blue Box twice so far and they have been great. Most recently I needed an order for 60 people and they were able to pull it together in just one day. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious!

Been here twice in the past two weeks on the weekend. Simple, no nonsense menu. We got the bagel breakfast sandwiches both times and enjoyed them. Coffee and smoothies we got were pretty good too. Staff is friendly and quick. Solid spot if you want a casual breakfast or brunch. Steady stream of customers when we went, but not crowded or much of a line.

I got the Lox Delight on an everything bagel and the Jamaican Dream smoothie. Both were so good! It was my first time trying a lox bagel, definitely 10/10 recommend for such a nice balance of savory flavors and creamy/crunchy texture. I knew I was taking a gamble with the smoothie because a lot of smoothies are mostly ice, but the smoothie was really good and very fruity. Maybe this sounds cheesy but they made me want to become a morning person so I could enjoy breakfasts like these every day.

Very basic breakfast bagels. Cheese was half melted half still cold. Bagel was stale.

My favorite bagel place I’ve found since moving to California! I always order the golden scramble and my husband orders the Nova delight. They have a wide selection of bagel flavors and the owner and all the employees are very friendly and welcoming. I found this place back when I was a DoorDash driver in 2018 and it was always one of my favorite stops on the job and I’m glad to now be a customer.

This place popped up near the hotel I was staying at. I got a breakfast bagel and it was dry. They use shredded cheese so it got messy because the bacon and eggs weren’t hot enough to melt it. My daughter got the chocolate chip bagel and it was warm, soft, and delicious. The only thing is they forgot her cream cheese. The staff is super nice.

I stopped here in my way back to LA. Really good breakfast bagel sandwiches. I had their california sandwich with bacon. My wife and I also really appreciated their kombucha offering (on tap!). A must try!

Best Lox bagels in the area. One of the few places that serves Lox bagels. Einstein was my go to place for Lox but have found a closer new fave. Good coffee too.

Bagels are super stale and flat. No rise to them at all. They are hard and unpleasant to eat.

I ordered a bagel with strawberry cream cheese and a turkey sandwich on a bagel. Good bagels- small though. Horrible strawberry cream cheese. It was a bubble gum pink and was an artificial strawberry flavor. Taste like candy strawberry cream cheese. The cold cuts were cut extremely thick. Not the way I enjoy them personally. But it tasted decent. I ate half and gave the other half to a coworker who enjoyed it.

Great bagels close to work. Recommend the sandwichiches and pizza.

Blue Box has really good bagels and quite a lot of different options for bagel sandwiches. We come here often for lunch and it usually isn’t crowded. What we really like about this place is that they serve kombucha and other drinks like coffee and smoothies. Also, we really like the cookies that they have at the register, they are probably the best cookies I’ve ever tried, definitely recommend!!

WOW !! You have to try this place. I am not usually surprised by very many places but this one is a new favorite. What makes this place a true gem is they actually put flavor back into food. Every bite you take is full of flavor. Great place to take someone for breakfast or lunch. Everything is super fresh and clean. Everything is very reasonably priced so you can afford to take a box of beagles to work or take a friend out to lunch without breaking the bank.

Friendly service, super bagels, different types of cheese bagels, cheese/jalapeño spread...my one guilty pleasure during (and after of course) lockdown!

If you are anything like me and enjoy homemade food, you’re in for a treat with Blue Box Bagels and Brew. Their bagels are made from scratch daily. They have a good variety of bagels. I really enjoy the vegetarian bagel sandwich on a sundried tomatoes bagel. My kid loves their blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese.

A hidden gem in an industrial park, the owner is super amazing and the service is awesome. They usually have many bagel options but get in early so your favorite doesn’t disappear. The sandwiches are very good with some healthy options and they now serve lunch so i will be trying that very soon, great little place, should definitely give it a try.

Awesome bagels, and an awesome and attentive owner. For this area of Mira Mesa, these are hands down the best bagels around. A few years back they changed their recipe, and they are a lot more crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside!

I had a really great experience there this morning the bagels were wonderful and Jerry seems like a great businessman stop by and have some of those delicious Bagels got. I had the cream cheese and cinnamon and it was out of this world

This place has the best bagels in San Diego. I hosted a baby shower and pre-ordered a ton of bagels from Blue Box to set up a bagel bar buffet at my house. All of the guests raved about how good the bagels were and loved the idea of a bagel bar.

Nice man at the counter but must say the lox cream cheese was flavorless and the bagels are STALE! The everything bagel had zero flavor as well. Was trying to support the local small business owner but how could you let me leave with a dozen bagels that were day old and charge me full price and not tell me. There was a nice thing - the nice man at the counter gave me a ripe banana. A very expensive banana!

Meh.We ordered 2 bagels, both toasted w/ cream cheese & bacon. They were fresh, but barely toasted and bacon was soggy. I was also a bit disappointed w/ service. The young lady who took our order couldnt make change to save her life. I had to tell her multiple times how much change to give us ... Good thing Im honest.Not sure Ill go back.
