This is a cute little coffee place and they make a great cappuccino… I may try some of their other drinks as well! Their coffee also gave me a “better buzz” than my average cup of coffee, too (pardon the pun)!

The food was delectable and the staff was agreeable. The feel was exceptionally comfortable and agreeable. The espresso was incredible, that was the explanation I love to invest energy here each time Im exhausted at home. All things considered, this spot is our cherished where we could appreciate babble with companions over some espresso. I suggest this spot and will be returning here soon.

A solid choice whenever in the San Diego area for some coffee. This Point Loma location is less than a block from the hotel Im staying at, the Monsaraz. Its also open very early at 5am! And its very convenient since theres also a drive- thru.

Cute place, great service, but the music is way too loud - the barista and I couldn’t even hear each other. The cold brew was a little too bitter for my taste, but that’s simply my preference. They have a nice, diverse menu, with breakfast sandwiches, bowls, etc. If say it’s worth a visit, if you like to support local businesses.

Hotel coffee wasnt cutting it when I was delayed in San Diego for a couple days. Luckily this place was just a couple blocks away. Great coffee. Great service. Cool place.

Its too sweet for my taste. Yes i know you can lower the sweetness but for the standard taste it feel like im drinking sugar. There is also a ton of sugar at the bottom of the cup. Now i have to wait for the ice to melt.

The coffee is better than Starbucks but the prices are significantly higher. My husband and I each got a small latte and it came to almost fifteen dollars we thought we had been miss charged!!! We won’t be coming back!

Staff was kind and helpful. The Coconut beverage is so amazing!!! Disappointed in the Horchata, but the coconut more than made up for it. There’s no wonder there’s a wait (but well worth it). 💜

Great coffee place very close to the sunset cliffs. Easy to grab a coffee and go watch the ocean and sunset. The staff is super nice and patient. They were just a crew of 3 but were handling the pickup and huge drive through queue very efficiently. The name says it all!!I had the latte. So much more flavor. Definitely heads above Starbucks. This is the second day I have had a latte here. Its consistently made, same excellent flavor.Try the ham and cheese croissant!!

Only had one menu item & only been once. But the horchata latte (almond milk, horchata, espresso) was delicious if you like cinnamon, vanilla & sugar. And I do. Staff was courteous & helpful. Small but clean, bright place inside. I think there was some outdoor seating too.

Coffee was pretty good. However the staff was pretty rude, there was no line or people in line inside and i felt rushed the entire time. Kinda hard to find something to enjoy when I’m at a coffee shop for the first time.The worst part is that when i pulled up to the window to pay the staff that was rushing me was joking and playing around inside.I’ll head to another location and see if it’s the same there as well.

Zero sense of urgency. Pull up to the drive thru window and workers are talking about their weekend plans, laughing and joking with absolutely no Acknowledgment for the customers or even apologize for the long wait (AND on top of that MY ORDER WAS WRONG). Expect a ridiculously long wait time for a cup of coffee when you come to this location.

This place has a hip buzz to it but it has a long way to go to catch up with Starbucks. The coffee I ordered was average but the banana nutbread was great. The seating and space was extremely limited, but it could be different at other locations.

High fructose corn syrup buzz coffee lol impossible to drink. Are there any survivors with normal taste buds or everyone so jacked up on Americanized flavors that drinking pure sugary liquid considered delicious? Lol

Ordered iced dirty chai latte. It had 2 shots and couldnt get any caffeine taste to it. Felt like a regular chai. They call themselves roasters but a true roaster includes roasting date in their coffee beans and none of them had it. I do appreciate they include altitude in some of the labels but no roasting date. Food was good which is why I gave them 3 stars. They are worth trying instead of going to Starbucks but dont expect it to be the best coffee ever.

Very tasty coffee with unique flavors. I absolutely enjoyed the mocha de Mexico, it tasted like Abuelita hot chocolate with a kick of coffee!

Fun place to hangout and catch up for coffee. They have some good bites to grab while you work or just chill. Good music playing in the background. Not so crowded during the evenings. The coffees are a bit expensive than other local coffee shops.

I had their lavender tea and it was probably the best tea I have had in the US! The smell of the lavender was perfectly complementing a bold taste of the tea. I also love their cookies. I had a gingerbread one which was Devine as well. Everyone working here is so friendly and chill! Love the place. This outlet isn’t as big as some of the other, but they do have drive through!

Great Coffee! Ive been drinking restaurant coffee for a week and needed some other level brew and they definitely delivered.

I enjoyed the turkey pesto sandwich and the Mocha Mexico coffee. Fast friendly accurate service and it was DELICIOUS!!!!

Brainless management! This place makes u wear a mask while going through a drive through while touching my coffee cup with their dirty hands. The point is if you are going to be super careful than be 100%. Dont fake to that you care because you dont. Not about customers or your own employees. To keep everyone safe you could have installed and rebuild that drive through window so people wouldnt have to touch with their dirty hands my food but you didnt you wanted to be cheap and you wanted to make people obey your coffee drive through window.

This is my second time at this location and second time being disappointed. I love the Hillcrest location but I will not be returning to this location. The first time my coffee taste so bitter and burnt and the second time they got my size wrong and even with an extra shot of espresso it tasted like coffee flavored water and like no flavor was added. Very frustrating. I know you guys can do better because your other location is so good!

I have an infatuation with better buzz. Literally everything is so good!!! Highly recommend their PSL for the season. Their blended drinks are too good (I finish them in less than 30 sec). Also, definitely recommend picking up one of their croissants!

Place is really nice and the servers are very helpful. There isnt much parking and theres a always a long line for the drive-thru. I usually find parking on the street and walk from there.

Ive been to several places and I absolutely loved their Best Drink Ever. Didnt regret it and luckily I walked there but their parking is a challenge. Thats literally the only complaint I have of this place, wonderful staff, excellent drink and quality and most importantly fine ambiance. Im happy to return as soon as possible

I’ve been enjoying this establishment for years. However lately it’s been mediocre. I’m not a coffee drinker, I go for the OG Bowl with almond butter and the turkey pesto sandwich. It use to be really good each time I’ve went there, now it’s a hit and missed. It will be a long time before I go back. Hopefully management can figure out why the quality of those items mentioned has depreciated.

Great coffee, beyond horrible service. Be ready to wait outside in traffic for 45 minutes with other cars. 4 days in a row Ive pre-ordered coffee, waited 15 minutes past the recommended time and still not there.

I had a hot vanilla bean latte, loved it! Im a coffee lover, so definitely recommend it. The coffee has a nice flavor and aftertaste and is not super sweet like you would find in most places. My friend had the Best drink ever coffee which is Americano+vanilla cream and that was really good too if you need that coffee punch and less creaminess than a latte. Their regular coffee size is actually a medium and so is good enough quantity-wise. Rates are between 5-6$ for espresso drinks.

The staff at this location are the finest on Earth. I hate this better buzz. The people that frequent this better buzz location always block my driveway and are inconsiderate when I’m trying to simply pull in and go home after work. -10/10 work on your drive through.

The food gets made fast but the first time I was there my drink was a little more than half full and the 2nd time by breakfast sandwich was so hard I had to take the too off because I couldnt bite through it.

Loved this place! Went every morning of our vacation. The team working is super hardworking, efficient and fun. The music is on point. Coffee, both drip and latte, was delish. We got sandwiches and baked goods and all were good sized portions and tasty. Definitely recommend! Parking is tough - theres a drive thru or street parking but you might need to walk a block or two.

I love better buzz, and this is the cutest BZ cafe Ive ever been to. Coffee and service was perfect as always. But!! I was annoyed by more than 5 flies while I was having my scone and BDE. 😨 Sooo gross.

I went to this same location a few days ago in the drive thru without a mask (mind you Im fully vaccinated) and the employee was wearing a mask. He continued to take my order without any questions. Ive never had to be told to put a mask on in the own comfort of my car while Im in a drive thru. Until today. A female employee proceeded to ask me if I have a mask and I told her that I didnt have one in the car with me. It seemed that this was her own personal issue especially after I told her that I was fully vaccinated. I assume that multiple people go through drive thrus without a mask ALL the time and still proceed to get their orders. If your employees still have a personal issue with COVID guidelines I understand that but maybe you should offer disposable masks for those in line in their OWN car. Other stores offer these and still get customer service. I will never come back to this location EVER. Immediately after I left this location I went to the BetterBuzz in pacific beach. Got my order with no hassle.

They told me that they would have to charge me extra to fill the cup all the way up considering it got it with no ice.

One of the better coffee places in San Diego as far as coffee goes. This location is small and sometimes difficult to get in to park. The parking lot can be accessed just south of the building on Roscrans, otherwise you have to wait for the drive thu to get in. The drive thru is full most of the time but they move people along pretty quick.The coffee is great. Not sure where they get the baked good from for all their locations but the quality is good.

Service was extremely poor. Visiting from out of town, employee was rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful with the menu. Out of a lot of pastries. Really disappointed with the experience because the coffee is good.

It had a wonderful touch of sweetness, not sugary.My husband had two different blends – both delicious. Decent place to grab a coffee and some breakfast. There is usually a line and the staff does their best to get people through. As this business expands to more locations the quick friendly service people come to expect takes a dip into the negative. Best cup of coffee and OG açaí bowl don’t disappoint though.

F Starbucks’s, this is my new fave place lol 😍 I never liked açaí bowl before but they have the best I’ve ever tried. $9 a bowl for how much you get? Yesss. Other places charge $9.75 almost $10 for a small little 8oz bowl. I love this place, and their coffee? AMAZINGGGG. They always have wonderful customer service.

This place s always busy for a reason. It is great! I come for the avocado toast and a killer bee, their version of a red eye. But if you want to treat yourself get the self-titled best drink ever they arent lying.

The attendants could be a tad more friendly when taking customer orders. But otherwise I love their Iced Best Drink ever and their Avocado toast plain, I tried adding bacon the other day but I hated it, it was very chewy almost like the bacon was made out of plastic.

I much prefer Better Buzz over Starbucks and others. The quality and taste of their coffee and espresso drinks are so much better. We especially like the locations with drive through windows.

I love Better Buzz. They are better than Starbucks. #ISaidWhatISaidIm giving PL 5 stars because the food and drinks are always on point.However, customer service matters. I shouldnt have to hear a yeah or yep or uh huh when I ask a question. I know this is SoCal and things are a bit lax, but yes provides a level of customer service that seems to be disappearing for some reason.This never happens at BB Miramar.

Coffee that revives your morning. Very tasty. Their breakfast sandwiches are good too. I would recommend their honey latte and B.A.B.B sandwich.

They either don’t take food allergies seriously or they simply don’t care. Every time (every time!!) I come here they get my order wrong. They look at me like I’m speaking a foreign language when I verify that I’m actually getting what I ordered at the pick-up window, “Oh, this is made with regular milk. Did you want coconut?” or “Oh, you wanted decaf? This definitely isn’t. Did you want decaf?” Yes, because that’s not only what I ordered but also what I enunciated specifically. The lack of comprehension and level of incompetence here is laughable. If it wasn’t the only convenient coffee place in the area that isn’t Starbucks I wouldn’t bother coming here.

This coffee shop is really cute. The decor is beautiful, food and coffee is tasty and the service is friendly and quick.In the sense of ordering your coffee and food, this place is pretty traditional. You order your items at the counter and grab a number and a table (if youre dining in). The only bummer is that you have to pick up your coffee but its not that big of a deal, I just wish I was made aware to pick up the coffee - especially since they give you a number. The food was delivered to the table though.I ordered the Honey Latte which was BOMB! The Vanilla Latte was good too.We also tried the Avocado Toast with Feta- it came on a thick slice of bread. I loved it. I thought it was hearty and healthy.I definitely plan on coming back here again. I hear the Matcha Latte is amazing too.

This was one of the best coffees I have ever had in my whole life! Its not expensive and the crew is so friendly! The place was full with people hanging out and if there was more locations, they would put Starbucks out of business in a heartbeat!
