First time here. Heard a lot of good things about this spot. I picked up a bag a coffee for some home pour over. They hooked me up with some of thier cold brew which is amazing. Thus the 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.I will update rating after some pour overs in the AM. Super excited about this adventure. The staff there was super helpful and knowledgeable about ratio for cold brewing and pour over. Also a good sign when they have roast dates!!UPDATED 6/22/21Day one brew was amazing!! Did a pour over, busing a 17 to 1 ratio at 195°,turned out great! Going to be fun trying all their coffee for pour over and cold brew!!

Olivia is super speedy with the beverage bar! All friendly staff members, super clean walk/drive up coffee/tea place, delicious treats, and sidewalk seating (shaded/non shaded). Went today. The drive thru and parking is confusing. We parked inside and an associate came out to tell us we couldn’t park there, that we would have to look for parking in front of the building. There wasn’t any available so we went in the drive thru. I got the hot Mexican mocha which was delicious. My friends got an iced white mocha which surprisingly was not sweet at all. However, we would have appreciated a friendlier and more helpful staff.

Was my first time there and got a bit confused with the drive-thru lines, but their personal ate in general super friendly and with a great vibe, their coffee is really good, will be back to try all of them

Love! Came last week to try their cappuccino and adore. This week we came to explore their huge room in the back where actually they roast the best coffee beans from all over the world including my birth country Brazil. Their variety is amazing and also they carry organic decaf which for me is a plus. Yummy coffee bean covered chocolate is a must too. Literally you will find here everything related to coffee. Is a Coffee Lover Paradise. Great knowledge of coffee also.

Their drip coffee was tasty even at the end of the day. Theres a place to play chess and a store to purchase gear, large bags of beans and large cold immersion jugs. The cafe is pretty chill as well, recommended.

Great local business in San Diego, Barrio Logan. The coffee taste and quality is really on point. The service is good and has a good hybrid of a drive thru and an in-person counter service. They roast their coffee beans on site and have merch that markets their small business. Overall, a good small business to support in San Diego!

Cubano was decent; nothing special. Staff could have been a little friendlier. Google says it has dine-in but it doesnt. You can connect to the wifi and chill outside though.

It is in one of the nicest parts of town. The environment is fantastic, with a very pleasant crew and some really good coffee!

Been a fan of their sustainable coffees for about 20 years. Their Mexico blend is quite possibly the best coffee bean blend out there.Came here to buy a 5lb bag and inquired about their empty burlap sacks and was given 2 free of charge for a project I am working on. Their staff is always friendly and attentive.They have a drive up service for drinks and grind to order coffee. If you are looking to purchase coffee for home or office, give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. The prices are comparable to the juggernaut from Seattle but thats about where the comparisons end. Their coffees are far more superior and lets be real here. The small businesses need our money more during this period than the guy with a zillion locations and seemingly one in every corner. You will get a better coffee here and help out another community business that deserves our support.

Amazing coffee, I tried their caramel cappuccino which was excellent. The barista who helped me was really nice and kind. Amazing neighborhood coffee shop, but definitely felt more of a grab n go sort of vibe, given the space was relatively small and my cappuccino was served in a to-go cup.

Let me start by saying that my family and I love cafe moto. The coffee itself is the best and most authentic that weve had in San Diego. Were big in espresso and have been buying the 5lb bags for over 7 years now. We owned a coffee shop for a few years and had a contract with a different provider, but whenever they would delay an order we would gladly run over to buy some beans from Moto. This is how much we enjoy their espresso.Unfortunately, the terrible customer service from one of their guys up front is what is making them lose two stars. At least for the time being. It seems that the guy had no clue what espresso entails to the point that he told me that any of their coffee blends could be made as espresso. It was an insulting line enhanced by the poor attitude he had. Sorry for wasting 3 minutes of your life, bud.Im almost sorry for leaving this review, as its not so much for the coffee, but for the service instead. Ill be looking forward to better experiences and the rating will improve upon that. It seems that a little more training will go a long way.

Makes some of the best coffee Ive ever had, and made with solar power as well. I buy bags of the cold brew coffee beans to make at home. They offer a military discount which is very generous of them. Also huge fan of there tea mixes, they have given me several samples in the before times which was great in helping me figure out what I like before buying a large bag of it. Friendly staff that cares about there product and knowledgeable. Love the decorations in the building and all around vibe if the place. First place I take people to get coffee and even ship family members the coffee.

Loved this corner coffee shop! They made use of their parking lot for a drive thru area which I thought was fantastic idea. Their prices are reasonable as well which is greatly appreciated to all the college folk out here. Paid $2.75 for a 16oz drip!

I’m not a coffee drinker but my coworker loves this place. The coffee is the best from what he says. I didn’t get coffee but instead got the caramel hot chocolate and that was tasty. It was rich, creamy and silky. Smooth going down and not too sweet. Only one barista making everything so be prepare to wait.

The v12 cold brew is very good and flavorful. By far some of the best from SD to Seattle. Its also cheaper than SB. Great little joint with lots of brewing gear for the coffee snobs.

Decaf coffee, the best. Cinnamon ginger coffee cake, to die for. Excelent service, worth the wait. Breafast burrito, packed witt goddies and the guava mimosas are our of this world.

Was at Coronado Island and searched for nearby coffee around and this coffee shop came up with high ratings. Just ordered a latte to try and tasted great. It has both inside and outside seatings and wi-fi available too.

Café moto has very good coffee, small snacks and a chill atmosphere. Situated in bario Logan it speaks to the future of the area with its increasingly modern yet industrial feel. Definitely worth a visit,and dont miss the roastery out the back!

I love their coffee. BUT out of the 4 times I have been to this cafe 3 of those times, my iced white chocolate mocha has take 25+ minutes to make. As someone who has over 2 years experience in the coffee industry, it should take no more that 6 minutes to make a latte. I would understand if they were just extremely busy, but They weren’t. They have PLENTY of staff. They gave people behind me their drinks, people that got there way after me we’re already driving off with their coffee. I really wanted to like this place and I’m not one to complain. I ALWAYS tip them and truly felt like It was a waste of my money. Like I said they have great coffee but honestly I can get just as good of a latte but with even better service. Unless they get better service then I will no longer be coming here.

Cafe Moto is the bomb...are we still saying that? There isnt a better coffee roaster in San Diego county. All of their blends and single origin beans are roasted to perfection. Try the Blue Sky and you wont be disappointed. Grind the beans at home for optimum freshness or they can grind them for you to the perfect grind for your home brewing style.The cafe up front is always a delight as the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable as well.

I am addicted to the V12 cold brew. I buy the gallon jug to use at home.

After over a year and a half coming here consistently this is now my favorite coffee shop on the West Coast. They are a dark roaster Which I’m not usually into. I must mention that they are the most reasonably priced gourmet coffee that I’ve ever found. Dog friendly, Friday Saturday Sunday they have the best pop tarts in the world (5$) And there’s a store in the back with tons of motorcycle themed memorabilia tons of different coffee for Sale and Loose tea. Café Moto has won my heart.

I love love love this place, seriously. The ambiance, weather, customers, baristas and coffee are perfect.The atmosphere here is very warm and inviting. It is always packed. I feel very comfortable here to do work, and the coffee is really good quality.

Great coffee, but their service needs work. Been there several times during my trips to SD and they take 30+ mins to get a couple coffees; was also skipped over once in their drive-thru. Otherwise, they have great coffee. Recommend using oat milk instead of regular!

We usually like to buy coffee at this place in the morning. but today we buzzed around 12:40 . We ordered matcha latte and it was very sweet and no matcha flavor and we ordered a cardamomo latte It didnt taste like cardamom. The truth is the first time that the service disappoints me

I used to own a cafe. This is the only place I’ll go to buy whole bean coffee. They are miles above anyone else in town in terms of quality and selection. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Have been buying from them for over 20 years.

Coffee always tastes great here and great service as well. The beans are flavorful and bold. Highly recommend blue sky, super G and espresso Moto for pour overs. For summer time drinks, I typically get the V12 or V24 depending on how bold I like it.

Awesome place to hangout and grab a warm drink. However I would like to mention that there was some slight confusion with my order, which was a traditional cocoa as advertised on the menu directly on the wall upon entrance. The drink I was made had coffee which I apparently had agreed to during purchase. The drink is good, however it wasnt what I had ordered.Ill probably be back again as this place has great ambience, but the experience could have been better.

Outdoor seating with super loud motorcycles isnt my scene... nor is starbucks/foldgers like coffee roasts. Its my fault for going. If you do have a custom hog and want a black cupa Joe, this is your Mecca. Also check out the shop in the back. I love the theme.

I buy most of my coffee beans here. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They always make great suggestions and are willing to spend some time with you helping you pick out your coffee. I wish they had later hours since its hard to reach in the middle of rush hour.

Did a local what’s trending tour for my sis from Northern California a few years ago and she has been ordering bags of coffee from them ever since. These guys know their beans. I first heard about them at a Mission de Alcala fair trade fair. Prior to Cafe Moto I was a HOT coffee only person. I received my first cup of iced coffee that I liked from Cafe Moto. Not really sure why, but it is the only coffee that I can drink Hot or cold and thoroughly enjoy it.

Coffe was great! Staff was friendly! Outdoor seating areas have an industrial vibe that makes for a fresh experience. Lots of variety in both the cafe and shop areas. Will definitely be back.

I love this coffee joint! And I’m glad they are doing drive-thru due to COVID-19, but they need to keep track which cars were first. Legit 4-5 cars who were behind us got their orders and drinks first!
