Took out for these. Hell of a way to remind oneself of Taiwanese food. The hot grass jelly was more warm than hot though. Partial grass jelly didn’t even melt like it’s suppose to in hot grass jelly. That’s just bad.Tofu pudding was alright, couldn’t ask for more since there’s no other place that sells it.Mini taro balls are great, the boba was great, and loved the kidney beans!A 4 star is simply a great reminder of Taiwanese desserts.

Very inconsistent take-out portion size and poor customer service. Their take out portion size has been getting smaller and smaller. When asking the staff to make the portion right for us, they started arguing with us that the portion is right, and there is nothing they can do except to give us some brown sugar syrup. The customer service is often very disappointing at this location. The picture was taken only a few minutes after getting the take out. Reached out to their company once before, but these issues did not improve.

I brought my good friend to try my favorite Boba place! Actually not only boba, I love all the things from Meet Fresh. Personally, I love hot tofu pudding or grass jelly with Taro, red bean and peanuts. But I have to say, if you are a boba girl, this place literally has the most authentic Taiwanese boba you can get, since Meet Fresh comes from Taiwan, its been so popular around the whole Asia for a long time. Also I recommend the egg waffles and mung bean cakes, I just love it!

The drinks here are always very good! We tried a variety of their drinks and really enjoy their milk tea with pudding and fruit teas. Theyre all very refreshing and tasty. They have a lot of interesting seasonal drinks and we tried one of the strawberry ones. Definitely recommend it! We also tried two of their desserts: the hot grass jelly and hot almond soup. These are perfect for cold, rainy days. The boba and mini taro balls have the right amount of chewiness. We especially like the grass jelly. The peanuts were dry peanuts which we can add in the soup which is a bit unusual since were more used to the pressure cooked soft peanuts in Taiwanese desserts. Overall, this is a great dessert and drinks place!

Great place for warm or cold Taiwanese desserts! Customer service was just okay. Lots of teens/20-somethings not acting super professional but still pleasant enough (for example, not immediately acknowledging customers until finishing private convos). Menu is similar to most asian desserts consisting of shaved ice, sweet beans, mochi, custards/puddings, tapioca/boba tea -type stuff . Seemed super crowded as line was wrapped around outside, but had zero trouble finding seating when it was our turn. They do offer to-go as well. Portions are MONSTROUS so plan on sharing between 2-3 people at least. We got shaved ice with various beans, mochi, puddings and ice cream and the 3 of us were stuffed! Took about 10 min to receive our order but didnt mind waiting for what we got. Well likely be back when the craving hits!Edit: tried this place again for a second time and customer service seemed on point even with a big pm crowd. Noticed everyone, especially cashier, was very helpful and professional. Tried their warm, soupy dessert and it was nice for a cold day, but I like the shave ice a lot better. I also discovered Im addicted to their mochi and custard! Yum!! My only criticism now is i wish the menus had better descriptions because in the photos they really look very similar and it holds up the line having cashier describe each one.

I no longer have to drive almost 2 hours for this! Came in for their soft opening, same great taste as Irvine location! Their desserts are never too sweet and the creamer is just right to add balance! The signature icy grass jelly has taro balls, herbal jelly, and shaved ice. Its topped with evaporated milk. The balls are really soft and chewy, while you can taste the herbal-ness of the jelly. You top that off with shaved ice and its a good complement. Its not very sweet at all, so dont worry about getting thirsty! We also ordered their Taro milk tea and Classic milk tea HOT! Delicious! They are located in the same shopping plaza as H mart and In-n-out on Mira Mesa blvd. Parking can be a pain even for their huge parking lot. I drove past here again last week and the line was out the door! Good for them! I recommend coming here during less busy hours (like weekdays). Since theyre very popular, the line can be constant. Will definitely be back!

I ordered fresh milk black tea with taro on the menu. Instead of order this drink directly, the cashier first charged me for fresh milk tea then charge two dollar more for taro. After I noticed the receipt, I talked to cashier, they are very rude. First they did not admit it. Saying it should ordered this way and I should pay the extra 2 dollar. After I found the menu and price ( luckily they have take out menu there( very hard to notice and they wouldn’t tell you). They admitted it and refunded me. You know what? The drinks I got is not fresh milk black tea with taro. It just a regular milk tea with some kind of paste. Always bought from meet fresh but never got this drink this color. Still the employees not admitted this is wrong drink. I request to talk to manager. The employees said manager not in store. And the drinks tasted very bad. Very disappointed in experience!

The Signature Icy Grass Jellyb#1 was delicious. The grass jelly was soft and silky. I couldnt really tell the different flavors of the balls but the texture was chewy and not powdery. The ice is more like a shaved snow texture and brings a good mix that keeps the dessert from being too sweet. Tried it both with and without the creamer.

On Oct 3rd, around noon, I ordered the egg waffle through their app. The app said it would take about 25 minutes. After 30 minutes, my order was still not ready. I walked to the counter and checked what was going on. The girl who was preparing the waffle was very short. The waffle was done and set aside. For some unknown reason, the girl was playing with the electric cord. It took her literally 5 minutes to try to put it somewhere high on the wall. Other crew members just ignored her. I then asked another girl when my waffle would be ready. That girl was very rude and said that because you ordered waffle, it would take a long time. The email should have told you how long you should wait. By that time, 40 minutes had past since I placed the order! I didnt want to make a scene and said nothing. Be aware, according to the crew, if anyone orders egg waffles, the wait time will be very very long!

I think this place is OK. Not great but its overpriced. I had a peanut cold tofu to go. For a person who lived in California for the last 5years, I know theres a difference in tax dining in or to go. I originally said to dine in but I changed to take out right away when I checked the time. My ticket came out as dine in anyway. I gave the cashier $21.25 for a $6.25 ticket. I know that I have a $15 change, but that obviously didnt go through the cashier as she had to go get the boss and ask what to do. The boss was on the phone outside figuring out how to fix the toilets in the bathroom. Maybe they need more time to iron out everything before opening their door for business. As far as food quality, it is not unique, different or anything that would make you want to go back time after time. I like it fine, I just dont think a bowl of peanut tofu is worth $5.80 + tax when a canned one cost about $1.50 at 99Ranch market and taste about the same.

The service here is very bad, one of the guy staff (I think is the manager) ignored my complain and went on to talk about something else. The oolong milk tea was super sweet, I had two sips of it and went straight to the trash. The milk tea doesn’t taste like oolong at all, it taste more like sugar with light milk. I still can feel the sugar through my throat after drinking a whole bottle of water. I wish they would ask me my prefer level of sugar so I don’t have to waste my whole drink. Also, I order the glass jelly signature soup and it was a total disappointment. All I can taste from the soup is a full bag of sugar, I don’t taste any red beans or tarot. The menu said it comes with peanut and tarot but I don’t see any inside of my dish. When I went back to ask the lady about it, she was rude and said those are tarots. This is my first time and definitely will be my last time.

The desserts were good and the mochi is soft and chewy. If I were to just rate this based just on taste, I would go again. However, my order was messed up not once, but three times in one night. We had ordered a pudding and mochi shaved ice with extra red bean topping. Since my friend is lactose intolerant, we asked for the condensed milk on the side. We waited over 40 minutes and had not received our order. When we went to ask, they had lost our order. More than an hour later, it came out but it was missing the extra red beans we paid for, and the condensed milk was mixed in, so my friend couldnt eat it. We informed them of their mistake, and they took back our order and went back to make it a third time. They apologized and gave us a 10% off coupon for our next visit. The third time it came out, the milk was on the side and there was red bean, but there was no pudding when there should have been almond and egg pudding included. At this point it had been about an hour and a half since we arrived and late at night. Needless to say, we wont be back. It is understandable to make mistakes and they were polite, but it was just too much time wasted. We should have just had our order refunded.

It was huge, so definitely come hungry or bring friends to share it with. My husband ordered Icy Taro ball with red beans. He liked it because it wasnt too sweet.
