I always love coming here! The food is as fresh as can be and all the staff members are wonderful and kind! I ordered the 3 cheese honey garlic pizza yesterday with extra ricotta and it was to die for. The prices are very reasonable and the military discount is appreciated!

Pastalini is a magical place. Its like Chipotle but instead of Mexican food, its freshly made pasta dishes. All the staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. A must try in the Miramar area.

This place is so great. The pasta was delicious, and everything was made in store, which makes it all fresh. The employees were very kind and the place was super clean. Great pasta and bread knots. The calzones also look amazing but I love the pasta so much that I havent tried them yet, honestly. :)I get the pesto sauce (Ive tried some of the others and you really cant go wrong with ANY of them, they are all so good). You get 3 toppings and bread knots with every order, so I get the artichoke, corn mix, and black olives. Then you get to pick seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, etc.) and they make the pasta fresh in front of you.Great alternative to sandwich shops with the same set-up - - sort of a build your own Italian dish. I work in Mira Mesa and go here regularly for lunch. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick but delicious Italian meal.

This place has been one of my favorites on Miramar Rd for awhile now my brother James turned me on to this place and I have been stopping in every chance I get. I also got to take my little family to eat here. But I must say the food is really good and the ones that work there are very kind I had the pleasure to enjoy a meal there yesterday and I have to give thanks to Mr. Javier for being kind and showing his customers respect. Also there way a younger girl that help me out as well but I didnt get here name. She really didnt talk much but maybe she was tired I know I was after coming in after a long day.But I must say this is a good place to go I wish my bro was there but Im sure he will stop in today. The place smelled fantastic, but the food was only the okayest. The service was great and fast, and the price was decent. My boyfriend ordered made to order pasta, and I ordered a Greek salad. The pasta was okay, but the Greek salad with chicken was a huge disappointment. The “Greek” salad dressing tasted like straight lemon juice. I’d recommend adding some oil (and maybe some herbs) to balance that out and calling it what it is (lemon and oil) versus Greek dressing. The pre-cooked cubed chicken wasn’t my favorite, but it suits their business model and fast service. I am a bread lover, so I was happy to get free bread on the side, but it didn’t have any flavor. In the future, I might give them another shot if I was craving something simple like spaghetti with marinara and cheese.

We ordered an 18 inch pepperoni pizza as well as a side of pasta. The Ford wasd very good. If you want something a little more tasteful than Dominos, Pizza Hut or any of those other fast pizza shops, come here.

Great customized pasta dishes. Like Subway for pasta, only waaaaay better. They have a large selection of pastas, toppings, tasty sauces, and meats to add. The toppings are all good and fresh, but the portion sizes could be a little more for the price. However all in all, they have good quality ingredients and fast, friendly service. Update: Got the spinach linguini with roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, and mushrooms, and added calamari. Also got the whole wheat fusilli, with artichoke hearts, fresh tomatoes, and mushrooms, and added calamari. We usually get shrimp, but this time decided to try the calamari. Big mistake, minus one star. The calamari was extremely salty; you only tasted salt when you bit into it. We will never order the calamari again. Well go back to ordering shrimp from now on. The pasta and veggie toppings were very tasty as usual.

Ranch is disgusting. Marinara sauce too watery. Like watered pressed tomatoes. Not enough thickness to it (then why call it a sauce?) pasta was salty, pizza was salty. Broccoli tasted bad and left a horrible aftertaste. Calzone not well seasoned, had no taste. Sticky seating. Table is sticky. Me and gf walking out feeling like barfing. Paid $45, wasn’t worth it. Was up sold without being told of the portion sizes so we over ordered. No remorse, just hungry for profit. But it didn’t taste good. Won’t come back.

Interesting concept to counter order and prepare on the spot. Wasn’t a big fan of the cubed chicken in my pasta dish. It’s precooked and dry. Gluten free rice noodles tasted like Pho noodles...which I think would be better with a lot of broth instead of a thick cream sauce.

Came here with my wife. I ordered rigatoni pasta with vodka sauce, calamari, mushrooms, onions, and mozzarella. My wife got the angel hair pasta with the meat sauce, shrimp, and mozzarella. We both thought both pastas were a little bland, not enough flavor; it’s probably due to the fact that they throw everything into a heated pan before serving it. If we come here again I will probably ask for extra sauce. Overall the food and the service is ok.

This place will fill the pasta-shaped void in your heart! Just finished eating here and our expectations were so majorly exceeded that I had to write this review before we’d walked 20 feet from the restaurant. You get to choose your pasta, sauce, toppings, and it’s all sautéed for you into a piping hot bowl of nom. There’s even a gluten free rice pasta! Portions are huge—we both got smalls and had half leftover. We tried the whole-wheat fusili (made from scratch on the premises) with the homemade pomegranate marinara (wow, just wow—seriously you have to try this sauce—it’s magical and not weirdly sweet at all). We also tried the gluten free rice linguine—surprisingly good for a rice pasta. Pasta comes with tender little garlic rolls (yum) and we tried a side salad too. Big salad for the price and it was great, although the vinaigrette was a little heavy on the vinegar for my taste. Also want to give the girls that were working a major shoutout—they were awesome and super helpful and patient, answered all our questions, and gave us free samples of sauces! I’m sorry I forgot to ask you your names while we were there and then felt too weird about it to run back in and ask, but hopefully you know who you are Thursday-night-pasta-goddesses—you rock. Food was good, and the staff was nice, however they seemed very disorganized (lots of running around behind the counter). Indoors is setup for a few large parties, so if its just 2 or 3 people you end up taking a huge booth.

It is a cool concept. Pasta made in a subway style. I had chicken Alfredo with broccoli and spinach. I would say the price was okay but the pasta wasnt very good, specifically the Alfredo sauce. I went with a group of people who all had different things and they enjoyed their food...so maybe its just the Alfredo that isnt very good.

Pastalini is a restraunt with a really high ceiling for great flavors! The choices put in front of you can be great. I made the tortellini with vodka sauce, red onions, mushrooms, feta, a big scoop of red pepper flakes, oregano, pepper, and half a spoon of garlic. It was outstanding! I would have been very satisfied receiving this same dish in Little Italy for $20+ a plate. But, as satisfied as I was this time, Ive also had some lackluster experiences trying some of my wifes pasta concoctions here. The sauces are definitely not all fantastic. I recommend the vodka sauce, and advise you to tread lightly otherwise.

The concept of make your own pasta seemed interesting but the food wasnt as exciting. The Alfredo sauce was a little watery. The mushrooms a little dry.. the basil spaghetti in itself was good though. I had basil spaghetti in Alfredo sauce with mushrooms and bell pepper.

I love the pasta here. You get to select the type of pasta, the sauce, protien, and toppings. Then they cook it front of you, and then its ready to eat. I really love the sweet tea, it is not just sweetened, but is flavored as well. The price is good too, my wife, my two year old (barely eats anything) my one year old (eats everything, and in more quantities than my two year old) can get fed with leftovers for the low $20s. I have eaten here three times since discovering it last week. I highly recommend this place if youre in the mood for pasta.
