The manager works with you and doesnt try to sell anything that you dont want or dont need. They are friendly courteous professional and they have a well-oiled machine. They not only do tires, but they do brakes alignments and other vehicle needs. I wanted a certain brand of tire, and they were able to order it and give me a fair price for it, which far surpassed all the other tire shops in the surrounding cities. Im very happy that I took my business to the tire store and appreciate all their hard work.

Ive been going here for tires pretty much since I could drive and same with everyone in my family. Not only do they consistently have the cheapest prices in town but they are very friendly and get you in and out as fast as possible. They will fix a flat for free (if its fixable of course) and also rotate your tires whenever need be. To give you an example of how highly they come recommended even by industry types, I recently popped a flat and the tow truck driver who swapped out my spare immediately and unprovoked told me to take it to The Tire Store and after they swapped my spare back and put an extremely reasonably priced used tire on I was in, out, and on my way in something like 15 minutes.The bottom line: if you need any kind of tire service go here.

I specifically called and asked if this shop would be able to work on my car which requires low profile tires without damaging the rims. The person on the phone said it was no problem. Had my tires replaced and my back rims are thrashed all the way around. The paint chipped off on both rims and would be a couple hundred to fix. If you say you can work on low profile tires I would suggest you make sure of that before working on a car. I will not be using their services again.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been purchasing my tires from them since I moved here. I recently had a tire go flat and upon inspection they said the two tires on the drivers side were damaged and needed replaced. I believe they got damaged when I hit the brakes and swerved to avoid hitting a dog that had darted out in the road in front of me followed by the little girl who tried to go after the dog. As a result I ran up on the median and back down. (I didn’t hit either dog nor girl) Since I’d gotten the tires there only 2 1/2 years before they basically gave me 2 brand new tires for the price of one as well as rotating and balancing. Since I drive an SUV the tires are large high performance tires and are very expensive. It came at a time where we couldn’t really afford to buy two brand new tires. They are awesome and bend over backwards to provide the best customer service!!

I got a new tire here and they were fast and very friendly. Then I made the mistake of trying to go elsewhere to get my alignment done and I was put off and ignored for three days before I had enough. Then I called these guys and the same day they got it done for me in about half an hour. Everyone Ive interacted with has had amazing customer service and the work they do is excellent!

Very knowledgeable counter guys here. They do their best to expedite your visit. Great pricing and selection. Had a flat recently, took their friendly service men ten minutes to fix and was not charge a penny for it. So appreciative of their time and service.

Excellent service, one tire on our trailer blew out and one tire went flat. The tire store was the closet tire shop near us so we unhooked our trailer and brought the tires to them. In under 20 minutes they had two new tires on our rims. Very helpful since we had our one year old in the car as well and our trailer on the side of the road.

The service was wonderful and the employees were so helpful. They patched up our flat tire quickly (20ish minutes) even though it looked packed when we pulled up and they also filled up the rest of the tires. And all of the service was for free! Definitely go here for any tire needs :)

My sister brought her car in for tire rotation a few weeks ago. Service was fast and they did a good job but no one there was wearing a mask, even inside the office. Made us very uncomfortable. Just wanted to put that out there so people don’t show up to that surprise.

Best Place to buy Used Tires PERIOD!! $30 each and always like new! Today I stopped in and got two Pilot 2’s for $60 mounted and balanced. They are $400 each new. You can’t beat this place!

I cant say enough good things about this place. I had a leak in a tire a few years ago, went by and the patched it for free. When it was time to replace my tires, of course I came back. I had done some research on tires but in discussion with the guy helping me, he actually recommended a less expensive model because of my driving habits/terrain, and Ive had no issues. Last week, picked up a screw in a tire, went in yesterday, they had patched it up in less than 30 minutes, again no charge. Nice, honest people, great customer service. Just awesome

The quality and service are unbeatable. For alignments, brakes, etc Rons the best! Ive been caught in Santa Maria needing tires, so Ill try a competitor. I always regret it.For example -Last time i was at big brand, not only were they more than 2 hours late (after changing my appt to 3 hours later) they actually put the wrong size pair of tires on my car than the matching size i had ordered and paid for. How does that happen?I wasnt at The Tire Store is how that happened.

Love this place. First visit here was with a friend who needed to patch a hole in her tire and needed a friend to come with. They ended up doing it for free since we were college students at the time! That was my first experience here with them. Since then Ive had a lift kit installed with a new set of method rims and Toyo wheels on one truck all for a great price. As well as getting 33s on my tacoma and the CV Axle replaced for the lowest price in town. Great customer service, honest people, and best pricing not only in town but within a couple of hundred miles. Cant say enough good things

I came for an alignment because my truck was pulling left and driving swirly, instead of aligning it they said they couldnt align it without first replacing a bunch of major parts for $750. I had just had the truck serviced without any mention of these issues, and they presented the estimate in a fear-mongering way, saying it was incredibly dangerous as I could lose my steering anytime now if I didnt replace the parts, so I was skeptical. I got a second opinion from a different 5 star rated mechanic and they aligned my vehicle fine mentioning nothing of the beed to replace any major parts, for $250, and my truck no longer pulls left or drives swirly.If I ever lose my steering ability Ill update this review immediately and praise this mechanic as being right and me being wrong to doubt them. Now, we wait...

I had a 4 wheel alignment done after lifting my crossover. Pricing was fair. They were quick and easy to work with. Everyone told me “Ron’s the guy, none better in town”, yet somehow he badly stripped one of my wheel studs. I only found out months later after driving thousands of miles with this incredibly dangerous issue. In addition, my front axles both gradually developed ticking sounds post-alignment and broke only a month or two after coming here. As nice of a place this was, these are not acceptable.

Gave me a better price than Costco and got me in and out with 4 new tires in under 45 minutes.

These gentlemen were extremely helpful when I found a family on the side of the road with a flat tire. They stayed open a little later so that I could pick up the tire and even offered two sizes since I wasnt familiar with the sizing. With some help, I was able to get the family back on the road within an hour.

In town for the weekend and dropped a car off, took it in for brake/steering related issues. They were willing to take the car in and got it done Monday by noon. Didnt upsell, very pleased with their customer service and work. Grateful they squeezed us in in a pinch but we should have scheduled an appointment. Definitely recommended.

The Tire Store will patch your tire for free. Theyre friendly, but not too chatty, and will get it done quick. I came in with my schoolwork at 4:30 on a Friday ready to be waiting a while for them to fix it (I just walked in), and expected there to be a long wait, but they had it done in 10-15 minutes.Ill be back next time I need something done!

I have only had the best experiences at the The Tire Store. I got a flat tire from nail over the weekend. I brought it in 8am Monday, fully prepared to have to buy an entirely new tire because the nail looked pretty deep. Yet not only were they able to fix it, and fast, but they didnt charge me! They just said nope, your good- have a good day. I am young girl that honestly knows nothing about cars- so they could have easily charged me anything and I would not have questioned it. I am so thankful for their fast, helpful, honest service. I really will only ever go to them.

After a few easy visits, I felt obligated to leave a review for this great tire shop. The Tire Store is one of the only places that sells used tires in SLO. They are thirty bucks each which I find to be a steal. Visits only take around 30-40 minutes even when very busy. Oh, and these guys were able to remove the check tire pressure light that continued to show up on my dash, something that Coast Nissans service dept struggled mightily with for years prior. Thanks for going above and beyond. Refreshing!!

Fast, affordable, reliable. I was traveling and blew a tire. They got me up and running in no time. Was pleased with the whole experience. THEN, I blew another tire after I left the area and they arranged to overnight me a tire to where I was because I was in warranty. This gives me hope for humanity! 5 stars

Open on Saturdays until 3:00 p.m. The tires for my car cost $300 for each tire at most places in town. I got 2 for$400. The same exact tire. Not a similar or comparable tire. The same exact tire! Best place in Slo Town for all your tire needs. They get you in and out real fast even when theyre super packed which is everyday. They got the cheapest price on tires with a wide selection. Theres a small waiting room but they get to you quick and they dont keep you waiting. Good experience staff with hard-working employees. Its easily noticeable from the road since its painted yellow everywhere. On top of that the location is really close to the freeway so you can get in and out real quick.
