I went into the store with my family to purchase a few items. The customer service upon entry was good, but when I attempted to check-out my experience changed from positive to negative. I was denied service for not wanting to give my personal informed when paying via American Express. The employees and higher ups should review the terms/agreement on all card issuers they choose to accept.Note: No employee excused me of fraud, I do not feel discriminated against and my card was valid via signature on the back.I will be making a complaint with American Express about this matter.

I love this store. I drive from San Antonio because of their merchandise and they have awesome customer service.

Friendly...Too far to go for 1 to items... however they do have a website.

I love this store but today I had a not so good experience with one of the ladies. The lady at the counter greeted me nicely but the other lady seems to be annoyed by me for not being able to pay right away. I’m not the one who leaves a review but I feel like being a Christian store they need to fix the way they treat their customers and display “Christian like attitude”. I told them I was just browsing and checking for new books and buy whatever I can find. But this particular lady approached me more than twice asking me if I need help with anything, while I understand it’s a standard for all the stores but she looked like she’s trying to get rid of me and can’t wait for me and son to leave the store. She asked me if she can put the Bible and one book that I have in hand in the counter and that’s when I felt like, she wanted us out ASAP. I would like to give no star for that lady’s treatment but the store itself is a good store so I’ll leave one! May she will use the store’s resources to treat people better.

Went to outlets with my sister on a sister trip. WOW, lots of stores.

Great place to shop

I got a bad vibe from primarily 1 of the 2 employees I saw working (both female). One kept following us around the store while the other was trying to upsell us with random items. At the register, the follower rang us up and was VERY, VERY nosy!! Im a talkative sort, but the questions she was asking were odd and much too personal. I will not be back.The 2 star instead of just one is because the window display was cute. I saw something there, went in to grab that and leave.

Great store, got exactly what I was needing and looking for. I needed highlighters and a pen🖊 that wouldnt bleed through the thin pages of my new study Bible📖. I found archival quality ink pens and dry highlighters. While there I found a great selection of Bibles in English and Spanish and a good variety of gift options. The staff here are great! They were helpful, cheerful, and kind. Store is in the,San Marcos Outlets, free parking, and easy access although you wont see it from the road. Thank you for everything.

If I can give no stars I would. My 18 year old Sister and her friend are on vacation in Texas. They went into this store to get my mom a gift. They were told to leave or to put on “this” dress because of their short shorts. Now I can agree showy clothes are disrespectful. They’re young and learning in life. But as a teenager/young adult going to a Christian store that means a lot. These are the types of people that give Christians a bad name. Judge mental, degrading and not christian like at all. Jesus taught us to not judge and welcome EVERYONE with open arms. Glad I go to a church who accepts and loves everyone no matter what they’re wearing or what situation they are in. Please reevaluate your lifestyle.

Great store. But I spend to much. Not because there over priced. They are not, just the selection is great. People great too

Such an amazing store. I prayed for guidance in finding the right books for me so that I could better understand the messages God was trying to tell me. The employees there were amazing and practically lead me right to each book I needed. I havent been able to put them down. Ive already finished one and started the second one .. And I truly feel the Lord worked through them and answered my prayers about what I needed help with at that time . and there so kind and patient always smiles. I will always be shopping at This store. God bless.

Christian Gift Outlet is a great place to pick up a gift for your blessings in your life. They have clever tshirts in the back and a big selection of music from contemporary to gospel. I picked up a few books while I was there. I look forward to reading them. Stop by and check out what they have to offer.

My wife and I came in looking for a gift for a friend. Although we didnt find exactly what we were looking for, we still enjoyed looking around the store. An employee named Riley was very helpful and made several useful recommendations, too!

Nice place a little on prices

I had a horrible experience at this store. I am a middle aged, brown skinned, well dressed customer, I was carrying a small purse.During my visit, I was followed around the store, being asked if I needed help finding anything. The first time is good customer service, the third time - in a small store- is harassment. When I did find an item with the particular bible verse I was seeking, a store employee immediately took my $14.00 selection to the front to place it behind the counter for me. Again, I had a small purse and no baggy clothing, there was no way to hide the object I was holding. Interestingly, the lighter skinned customers were allowed to browse freely throughout the store and were not given such “special attention”.I paid for my selection in cash (Dave Ramsey). Although I was carrying higher denominations, I only used a $20 and a $1 dollar bill. The cashier took the effort to not only check the $20 dollar bill but also the $1 bill. It is simply not economical to counterfeit a $1 to use in a Christian gift store! The extra effort could not be interpreted as anything other than an expression of mistrust!I would expect better treatment in a Christian gift store, a place where scripture is written everywhere you look. I didn’t encounter this level of racism in Burberry, Prada, or any of the other outlet stores. I’m sincerely hurt and disappointed. I will never shop here again.

Always helpful staff and lots to look at. Different versions of Bibles, home decor, kids section, a variety of greeting cards, jewelry, DVDs. You cant go wrong trying to find the perfect gift for yourself, family and church family!

Horrible staff. They follow you around like a shark ready to chow down on a seal and ask if you need any help about 7 times in one minute. It was only me, my mom, and my two sisters in the CHRISTIAN store and they acted like we brought in a bomb under our clothing. What jerks and horrible helpers. No wonder why their business is failing.
