Love this place. Prices marked way down very affordable, the smell of all the leather is fantastic a lot of bling a lot of cool boots, fantastic shirts and womens clothing great salespeople very relaxed and country music playing its awesome. When you drive into the parking lot it looks empty theres no cars but trust me its good to shop without a crowd! Oh and theyre hiring LOL even though they say theyre going out of business.

Saw the liquidation sale and had to stop. Staff were very nice and I ended up just chatting with who I assume was a manager for a while. In the end, I got a very nice pair of Ariat work boots and a hat at over 50% off. Very enjoyable experience.

I understand they are closing down but this is my first time visiting and well, theres very little to almost no options or selections of Boots. If you are lucky enough to find something you like they probably dont have your size. 40 minutes wasted on my end.

Great! Worth the detour

Says going out of business. I see reviews from at least 3 months ago stating the same. The store is till fully stocked and doesn’t look to be going out of business. There are very few sales worth looking at. Even at half off you can find better boots and prices at about anywhere.

Going through a sale currently for a remodeling and still the selection was pretty good. Once remodeling is complete give them a try. I bought 2 pair of 1200$ boots at 50% off and they even gave 50$ off each pair on top of that.

I bought a pair of boots for $150 and when I got home, the boots were different sizes. The left one was 6.5 and the right one 7. I had to go back from Austin to San Marcos to see if they could find the size I needed. When I got there the lady was really nice and tried to help, but they couldn’t find the right size to match the other boot, so I wanted a full refund. Manager THOMAS was rude, and not helpful at all. He brought me another pair of boots and told me I could get those since they were similar. They were not at all similar. Then he told me he could only refund me $58 dlls! WHAT! I paid $150 for them. Then my husband was explaining to him why we wanted the refund and even told him that my family had bought 5 pairs of boots the day before and THOMAS the Manager IGNORED him several times. After a while, he finally agreed to gave me a full refund. The boots were nice, but my family and myself will not be buying from them again because he was very very rude and unethical!

I needed to look sharp for my sisters wedding I was expecting to spend $500 I only spent $275 I be back.

Bought a nice pair of boots from there for $70. Figured I would go back and buy another while I have the chance. Went back, liquidation manager wasnt there, and the guy said the best he could do on the same exact boots was $109 and then called me a liar when I said I paid less last time. If the liquidation manager is there you might have a good time. The other guy you will not.

Banners all over the facade state Going Out of Business Sale. I didnt see much of any sale prices. The clerks were totally disinterested in my business, although one did tell me bye as I left.

This place has a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Not as organized as I like. Sales staff was knowledgeable and eager to help. Not the place to go for Stetson. Competitive pricing and plenty of parking. I would make it a good place to start for comparison shopping.

I bought 3 pairs of boots and I sent 2 of them to my friend in California. She said that the boots fit perfectly. The other pair I got for myself and they fit perfectly as well.

The store was empty and they couldn’t have cared less that we were there. I give it three stars bc there is a really large selection, and if you know all about boots and what you want, you’d probably be able to find it. But we didn’t, and they seemed irritated at our questions.

Use caution when buying from here they didn’t mention that when buying anything with a percentage off that you can not return for a refund only store credit. I did not know until I saw when the clerk slapped the receipt down that it said something about returns and questioned it myself. I don’t shop here regularly and will not be shopping here again. A bunch of crooks is what they are. When I asked the manager he said the owner would refuse to do it no matter the circumstances because it helps ensure they get rid of their inventory. Duh not taking any returns in will do that. But they have a percentage off in the store nearly all they time so no returns ever except store credit.

Im giving this a 3 simply because the boots are over priced. The staff was kind and helpful and answered all 50 questions happily . Close to the mall no need for a U turn . Big parking lot available, huge selection, small ish hat selection, just over priced is all. Its not the employees fault that they are pricey but I’ve bought the same brands elsewhere myself, husband, in-laws and siblings and was a better bang for our buck and were still kicking it a few years later and they clean up nice, sturdy, and of quality .

We were looking for boots for my son. We found some. The stitching on the calf part of the boots turned out to be different colors. We didnt realize that until after he wore them all day & all night. Unfortunately, we cant return them because we bought them as is. Other than that, it was a great deal.

Bought my first pair of cowboy boots!

It was cool, didnt buy anything. Was a little expensive. They advertise three boots for 179$. But those boots were ugly. Couldnt find anything I like under 400$. Texas boot ranch has boots for 79$ each!!!

Nice boots but they are always closed 30-45 min prior to their closing time, we went at 730pm and there were still employees inside and no one opened the door.. they just ignored the door.... I have also tried calling and phone is never answered. They should just change their closing business hours to 7pm instead of 8pm.

At one time you could get a good deal on cowboy boots. Now, its great for women and little boys.

I had a horrible experience at the San Antonio store off of 410 and bandera with the manager Charles. Johnathan the manager at this location made it right and his staff provided excellent customer service. The store has much more to choose from as well. The prices seem to be better. Very well worth the drive out to San Marcos. I will NEVER shop at the San Antonio store again.

I had to stop by this place after seeing a myriad of Billboards claiming that various locations where having a closing sale.....look closely and the small print states for store remodel. Most of these stores have been having a closing sale for as long as I have lived in Texas, 3 years or so. Walking around the store I failed to see any real bargains, I guess the store remodel is still some ways off. It might have just been the location I visited...

Big store, but not as much selection as I would have imagined. Hats particularly. They offer some proprietary brands, but not sure how good they are. Friendly staff. Just not impressed with selection choices.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. the buffalo boots they ordered have white mold on them. They polish them and or uses something to cover it up until acouple weeks later the mold comes back up. Horrible customer service. The manager Margret does not know what she is doing. Everything is over priced.

I came here while at the Outlet this past weekend, there were billboards and signs on 35 saying the store was closing and that everything must go. The usual store closing signs. I had never been here and was pretty excited to go find boots for a good deal. I never believe in the store closing signs because usually there is never a good deal, but I figured hey I was already in the area should just pop in anyways and see what I could find.When we came in there wasnt much indication on the price or the sale they were having. After browsing I noticed all the price seemed to be full price. I wasnt too impressed by the price and product they had to offer. As I was about to give up, I was able to find an employee and ask about the pricing. She told me everything was 50% off the price that was marked! That there made some sense and made things much better.We probably spent about an hour here after that. There were sections that had different style boots like Ariat that were organized by size, Lucchese was organized by style. Turns out the pricing is even better than 50% off on some boots. Another girl came by to help me and asked if anyone had checked on the price of the boots for me. She went to check with who I presume is the manager on duty and he had taken off 61% of the price! A huge discount, for Ariat gel sole boots!Beware though, the pricing on the boxes of the boots varies dramatically. I was able to find the same boot in 4 different prices, it was crazy and super confusing. In this case it worked out in my favor and I was able to get the cheapest pricing on a pair of Lucchese, although the first pricing he gave me was still quite high. The boot was labeled for $699 but there were other pairs for $249, $349, $499, in the exact same boot. After looking online the average price for these boots are about $350, although I found them for about $199 on some sites. For me the price and value that I got was good. I typically buy Corral, Ariat, or Lucchese brand boots, so the pricing that I was able to get during the sale made it worth it. I bargained another pair of boots in a brand I had never heard of, but for all three pairs I paid less than $500 with tax. Im not sure I would buy the boots here full price, but I would go during this liquidation sale and check it out! Id also recommend doing some research on the prices before you commit to buying, but there are good deals to be had.

This place has a good variety of typical cowboy boots including Ariat, Luchase, and such. You wont find anything out of the ordinary here but I have seen a few really good deals such as Luchase Ostrich boots for $250 off - its hit or miss depending on your size but then again these are cowboy boots not sneakers.
