12/24/19 Great Dark Roast this morning and even better staff!Update: Came today for “happy hour” did you know they have happy hour? Get the app and you will. 1/2 price frapachinos, I had not had one in 16 years, ordered it, found my tastes had changed, it was way too sweet for me. They made me another one with half the sugar, perfect! No charge! Thank you so much...Good little Starbucks. The outside seating is what’s best about this place. Side entrance away from the parking lot.

Pretty decent location and quite a few tables and chairs outside. The Starbucks is not open for indoor seating yet.

Great baristas at this location, and super sweet too. Its smaller inside for seating, but thats no bother for us because we always do to-gos. When the weather is nice, try the outdoor seating. Its a nice comfortable, and large outdoor space with privacy.

Clean, fast Starbucks. Friendly staff too. Close access to Ralphs, great clips, etc. and also CSUSM is nearby - all convenient if youre a student there. Plenty of parking and of course, reliable wifi. Starbucks is like McDonalds to me - consistent. Whether you like either of the companies and their views, food, or business ethics, youll always get predictable results.

WAAAAAAAAYYYYY too many people packed inside during a pandemic. The store should have had someone to manage the people.

Great customer service. The Barista was very willing to make sure my drink was what I wanted. I had the Iced Vanilla Latte ( my favorite) it was delicious.

The Quality of the classic coffee cake has went down since a couple years ago. The banana bread and blueberry muffins are still great.

I always visit Starbucks at least once a week, Starbucks make very good sausage, egg, cheese muffins. Also my favorite vanilla cream frappuccino, very tasty and refreshing.

Like this place much better than the ones in Vons or Albertsons. Fast, friendly and have all of the drinks, unlike the ones in supermarkets.

Wanted to have a protein blended fresh brew. They didnt have any fresh brew so the Barista said she could make it with espresso. I was fine with that. Drink was good but had to wait 15 minutes for it. They forgot to make it and they finally asked whos personal cup was on their prep area. I told them mine and Im still waiting for my drink. You would think they would have refunded me for their mistake. I watched them give a gift card to a regular customer whos drink took too long to make.. I wont go back to that location.

All ways crusin by to get that poke stop and gym. The girls here have never messed up a drink. This place has been here for a while and will stay because of the cool peeps working there. Thanks guys.

Disappointed at the cleanliness of this store, the outside tables are not consistently wipe off . The customer are left to wipe these tables to themselves. The condiment stand lacks attention, numerous times I’ve ask for more cream, napkins, etc, and the floor is on occasions littered with items. Overall, it could be better!

I love this place and have been coming here for a year. Staff are all friendly. However since the boss lady has went on leave the coffee has been lacking. The cold brew taste like burnt leftovers from the day before and the iceed coffee is the same. For now we will be looking for another location un till she returns.

Busy Sunday morning. It appears our latte (drink #1 of 2) was stolen and the barista wasn’t super nice about remaking or figuring out what happened to it. There needs to be someone monitoring the pick up window for mobile orders. This happens a lot on weekends. What happened to the greeter who was supervising?

Nice location within a retail center, corner unit with ample shaded outdoor seating. View of the Cal State San Marcos college. Great staff who knows their stuff.

Across from the CSUSM campus, only a couple of outlets to plug laptops into, and not as much seating as is needed. The service is great though and the staff are very friendly. Parking can be tough at times.

There are two Starbucks in the same parking lot. This one has better seating options. However, most are outside.

I love Starbucks but the service here was very slow. Staff was friendly but I dont think they had enough people working for the morning rush shift. I waited almost 20 minutes for an iced coffee drink, and there were only 5 other people in the store

I go here almost every day. The staff are young and are usually carrying on their personal conversations. Usually theres a line, but not as bad as a stand-alone Starbucks. Theyve only messed up my order once, and its very convenient.

Lots of outside seating. Its Nice to be greeted with a warm smile and a cup of dark brew in the morning.

Went in there a store was very clean and even though it was very busy one particular Barista, im pretty certain her name was Brittany, she was busting her tail with a smile. Made me happy to see baristas working so hard even though people will find any reason to be upset about anything (Coffee is coffee😁). Thank you for being a great light across from my campus, especially in the early mornings 🧟‍♂️. Brittany should get a raise or a high recommendation to corporate!

Cold, unfriendly service, extremely slow to receive your drinks if theyre not mobile orders. I ordered a latte. Unfortunately Starbucks doesnt do oat milk so I got it with almond milk, but that tastes like balloon rubber. Not crazy about Starbucks to begin with but this is hands down the worst one Ive been to.

I waited 15 minutes for 3 coffees. I saw them mess up the order before mine. They were moving in slow motion and seemed more interested in chatting and joking with each other than getting the orders out. I had to ask twice for a cup of water.

Nice location. Small starbucks that sits in the corner of a shopping center. Nice area for outside seating. Never really see this as crowded as the other Starbucks.

One of the best in San Marcos. Should say the only starbucks. That doesnt mess up orders and does things fast. All the others are slow and rude compared to this one.

Theres not too much to complain about when it comes to Starbucks but this particular store was definitely below average. I went in on Saturday morning and saw only 2 workers there who were practically sleep walking as they had no sense of urgency to get through the exceptionally long line of customers during the pretty busy time. There was a third person who showed up but wasnt sure what her duty was as she was actually wearing her WORK OUT outfit lol. When I finally was able to place my order I asked for honey but they were out. I then asked to purchase a bottle and the guy didnt seem to be reluctant to tell me they were out of that as well. Unfortunately I would have to say this store was definitely subpar and you get better service walking across the street into the Ralphs Starbucks store location!

A perennial stop for good coffee and small eats. Can be crowded but service moves things along .

This is my local store and I usually do mobile ordering because it is always so busy, due to the university students from across the street. 50% of the time they get my order right, the other times I dont get it or its wrong.

There are a ton of patio tables, however there is very limited seating inside. The problem occurs when its chilly outside and/or you need a plug for your computer.
