Heres the thing about Redbud: It came about when I was attending Texas State, and its the reason I love coffee as much as I do. Now Ive moved t an area where professional roasters are in abundance, with long and seasoned careers. And Redbud is still hands down the best coffee Ive ever had.
My friends and I love this roaster and especially their Buddy Boy blend!
I live far away from this place but have been wanting to stop there for a long time for a reason: this place is listed on the Aero press website as a place brewing with the aero press. And if youve looked into this method, according to the AP website, there is not that many places in TX that do so.I ve found myself to be in the area on Sundays, but theyre closed. Finally was there on a Saturday and therefore took this opportunity to stop.Big disappointment when the barista told me they dont do aeropress. Apparently they dont do third wave either. I just got a regular cup of coffee from the thermos. Had higher expectations.
My first time here was a wonderful experience. They were sweet and the cappuccino I ordered was yummy. They even offered me what kind of milk I preferred! As a big coffee person that made me happy.Today I met the manager Leanne and she was really kindI will be coming back
Excellent coffee👍🏼
Excellent service, great espresso shots. Nice place to stop close to i35.
Hands down best place to buy your beans, they even grind it for you based on how you make your coffee (drip, French, espresso, etc) and all their specialty drinks are amazing. My fav is the mocha aloha. *happily sipping Colombian light roast as I type* 🥰
I just moved here and was looking for a locally owned Coffee shop. The coffee here was good but no food yet The coffee shop itself has no energy or life to it. Tough to say I would go back.
Their coffee is great, and Im very pleased with their subscription program!
Always courteous. Best coffee shop in town. Love this place! Great folks run this shop. Always friendly. Peru Decaf whole bean or Mexico whole bean-oh yeah! Love the fact its SWP. Their coffee makes great gifts too!
Super friendly folks who want to please! And the coffee is *astounding* - we all melted in delight at our first sip. ❤️
We grind our beans fresh before brewing at home. Based on the lack of bitterness Red Bud has a great bean source, and they roast the beans just right for maximum flavor! Thanks!
When I want the best coffee in town, I go to Redbud Roasters. Fair trade, roasted in town, served in the most advanced way that I have ever seen. The have cold brew on tap that tastes like Im doing something devious its so tasty.
Handmade perfection in Texass hidden gem of a town. Try the Cuban latte or just get it black. Obsessive attention to detail, and a wealth of experience keep me coming back.
A tasty mocha latte and a pound of freshly roasted Colombian whole beans to go. Nice
What a great place with great coffee. Owner/ operator seems to really love what he does. They roast the beans on site, so the place always smells amazing.
Great selection of authentic coffee beans paired with knowledgeable staff, must have is the full nelson!
This place is simply the best because they have awesome people and awesome coffee. Love the wild onion and breve is my hot coffee go to option. Top notch experience.
They have the best coffee in town. Their nitro cold brew is amazing. The full nelson is decadent and sophisticated and full of caffeine! Also kombucha on tap! Great place.
Great coffee. Nice barrista.
Redbud Roasters is making a name for themselves amoung serious coffee critics. At the NB Farmers Market youll be served by the roasters themselves with coffee beans roasted the night before. Worth the time to experience.
Friendly staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Excellent coffee.
Stop in and get a cup of hot, fresh coffee as well as a bag of roasted coffee beans or fresh grounds for later. Best coffee in town, family owned & operated.
Great little coffee shop. Try the Full Nelson!
A nice, quite specialty coffee and tea shop that roasts their own coffee beans in the shop.
Coffee is pretty good. Nice quiet place with friendly staff
Quiet and cozy, great spot to get some work done. Cuban shots and pu erh tea will keep me coming back.
This place has a cosy, gypsy like feel to it. The coffee here is pretty decent too. Tried their mocca aloha and cafe miel.both were nice and if you are a cinnamon fan then cafe miel is a good option to go for.
Best cold brew in San Marcos! Also the home brewed Kombucha on tap is pretty sweet.
Some of the best locally roasted coffee Ive ever had.
RED ESPRESSO (rooibos) has CHANGED my life!!!!
I went to this place when it was just a food truck at the Hitch. Good iced coffee; prices are fair.
Friendly staff, and great coffee, makes this my go-to coffee shop.
Order the Rodriguez. The best latte in the world.
I dare anyone to find better coffee.
Limited options but good coffee!
The baristas, the music the drinks.. the only place in town with a real Cuban shot..raw sugar in the espresso grounds before being pulled. =^..^=~
Great coffee beans and friendly staff
Best latté in town.
Excellent coffee, very fresh.
Wonderful place with wonderful service
