The staff at Connect Hearing, Lake San Marcos, is super friendly. They set an atmosphere of willingness to make each visit special. I pick up on the vibe that I am a valuable and important person. They offer a full array of services that is second to none. My appointments there have always been a cut above the norm in all the areas one would hope to find. I am always treated so nice at this Connect Hearing in San Marcos. Nia the front desk clerk is very kind. I didnt see Dr. Katherine Dishner this time but she is always professional and courteous when I do. I would highly recommend this place for all your hearing needs, Bottom line is they give great service.

My dad is 92 years old with moderate dementia and severe to profound hearing loss in both ears, and very poor word recognition on the left ear, even with amplification. When his right Costco Hearing aid (4 years old) quit working, it was a nightmare trying to communicate with him, and Costco said it would take 3 weeks to have it repaired. What to do? Dad has an older pair of Phonak Boleros with custom earmolds, so I went to see Katie at Connect Hearing in San Marcos with the idea of getting the old hearing aids checked and cleaned, and to find out what size battery they needed. I was fully expecting to pay a service charge.Katie took the hearing aids in the back, and came back to say the left one wasnt working. I thought that was fine, Dad could use his left Costco aid and his right Phonak Bolero. Not really ideal, but better than nothing in the right ear at all. But Katie suggested doing a hearing test and fitting Dad with a pair of demo aids that he could wear until the Costco aid was ready. And that is what we did. At no charge.Having Dad be able to hear again was amazing. Not being able to hear really had made his dementia seem much worse than it actually is. A week later I noticed his left Costco aid had a damaged battery door, so I sent that one out for repairs, too, postponing the appointment to pick them both up by a week. In the end, we had the demo Phonak aids for a month or so.Katies front office person (I cant remember her name!) was wonderful, as was Katie herself. Both were kind, patient, accommodating, and very sweet with my dad and with me. If the Costco repairs had not been satisfactory, we probably would have opted to get new hearing aids here.

I am delighted to say connect hearing San Marcos has Exceptionally wonderful service. Katie was not in, but Nia let me bring my mom’s Hearing aid in anyway. She fixed it and charged nothing. They deserve the five star rating that I gave them. Sincerely, Jackie

She answered all my questions with explanations that were easy to understand. I have full confidence in her and I hope she will be available here for a long time. My first impression of Connect Hearing in San Marcos was a phone call to set up an appointment to see/try the Phonak Paradise hearing aids. I spoke with Nia, who was very personable and accommodating. I really appreciated her help with my unusual circumstances.I went in today, and again found Nia to be kind and helpful, and the office clean.Katie then brought me to her office and introduced me to the Phonak Paradise hearing aids. She studied my recent hearing test, asked me questions about my hearing loss, patiently answered my questions, and explained what the hearing aids could do to help me in my daily hearing. i tried them out, and I was impressed. I’ve worn hearing aids for 15 years now having had 4 sets prior to this visit. I thought I knew all about hearing aids, but Katie opened my eyes to new features and sound quality that I had no idea existed!Overall, my experience at Connect Hearing in San Marcos was very pleasant (fun even) and educational! I also lucked into great pricing as compared to what I’d seen online.

On Monday, April 23, 2018, I received my new hearing aids. Sal Colarusso is my audiologist at Connect Hearing in San Marcos, CA.Sal gave me my annual hearing test and we determined that I needed toupgrade my present hearing aids. I am very pleased with them and findthem to be much clearer with less background noise and, I find, my hearing much improved. I would most definitely recommend Sal and Connect Hearing to anyone. I have, in fact, told people and I do hope that they take advantage of it.Sal is a professional and very friendly. This is a great asset to have and anyone who is looking to get hearing aids for the first time would feel very much at ease.I wish to add a review about my visit yesterday. Since this is the only way I can get in to write it here goes.Yesterday was December 27th and Heena very kindly managed to get me in as one of my hearing aids had stopped working. Francesca, who usually works in San Marcos was on holiday but another delightful lady filled in for her. Thank you Heena, you are most professional and always polite and ready to oblige in any way you can. Thank you also to the lovely lady who so kindly fixed my hearing aid in a very short time. I have been going to Connect Hearing in San Marcos and will recommend it any and everyone who will listen. I most certainly give it a five star recommendation.
