Faraj, his son and Adam are very nice and accommodating. I drove my Prius there yesterday 9/28/21 from Salinas (nobody in this area fixed HV batteries) and was expecting to pick it up the next day. I went and ate nearby while waiting for my ride to pick me up. I received a call from them as I was about to leave expecting to hear bad news about my car, but they had in fact finished replacing the cells in my battery within a few hours. The car ran amazingly on my way home, and definitely recommend them for your hybrid cars. I definitely will be back for future service on my 2004 Prius. Thanks for bringing my car back to life. I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to Adam and the team at this amazing shop from the moment I spoke to them on the phone I knew my car was in good hands. Thus by far the best service I’ve ever received from any auto repair business. I brought in a 2016 Toyota Prius with 228k miles on it the team had never seen a Prius this new with that many miles in it. However I was in need of a total engine replacement. Adam and his team of experts made me feel at ease and explained the process from start to finish. The job was completed in ample time way faster than I expected there were no surprises everything was done so In an efficient manner offering transparency from start to finish. 5 starts is not enough these guys are amazing. I’ve had my battery worked on here a few times since I bought an older Prius a few years ago. So I thought I should write a review! Adam is great! He’s a super nice and calm person to talk to. He’s very helpful in diagnosing battery issues and giving advice. I live in Santa Cruz and getting my car over the mountain with the hybrid battery disabled was difficult, so having the mobile repair option made this a lot less stressful this time. They do charge extra for mobile repair and prefer you bring your car to the shop if possible. But depending on your situation, it might be worth it. And lastly, I think they have the best prices for hybrid batteries in this area!

First time customer, Faraj & Adam were very helpful, professional and easy to work with. They got my 2010 Prius back on the road quickly after thieves cut out my cat and they worked directly with insurance company to make things easier for me.They went above and beyond by also providing a cat shield as part of the full cat replacement. While there, I also got a catalytic antitheft shield installed and my L rear tail light replaced with a used one, all in the same day which was a pleasant surprise to have a one stop Toyota repair service. They even loaned me their vehicle to finish my errands (FedEx letter that had to be mailed that day). Very nice, hard working, honest folks, reasonably priced services which is hard to find in the automotive repair business, especially as a single woman. What they quote is very close to the final price so no surprises there which is a relief. They work hard to earn your trust and loyalty. Adam was super responsive and one of the nicest car people Ive ever worked with. Our catalytic converter was stolen and after we got it fixed, the car wouldnt start. Our mechanic asked around and was told the big hybrid battery was dead. So he referred us to Prius Hybrid Battery of SJ. We got a quote from the dealer, which was $600 over their price. Since these people specialize in Prius battery and their price is much more affordable, we decided to go with Prius Hybrid Battery of SJ to replace the hybrid battery for us. And we are so glad! We wrote them a check and our mechanic handed it to him. The next day Adam called us back to tell us that the good news is our hybrid battery is actually fine! The car wouldnt start due to the 12V battery being shocked and blown fuse. We were pleasantly surprised because Adam was so honest with us. Our mechanic got other people to look at the car, and they all told him it was definitely the hybrid battery since the car is ~150k miles and the hybrid battery needs to be replaced around then. So we highly recommend this company for Prius battery issues because of their great integrity, quick responsiveness, and skillful diagnosis and work. We will definitely go back to them for any Prius battery issues.

Hand down the best Prius service in the bay area! Adam and buddy was super nice and super friendly. I blew the engine due to not having enough oil in the tank. They replaced the entire engine and transmission, now the car runs like new. Adam also offered to fix my stuck hood for free (other stores outside could of charged me hundreds of dollars easily). Dont hesitate to contact them if youre having problems with your PRIUS!

Really really happy with their expertise. We took my daughters 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid into them after two Ford dealerships failed to diagnose a wrench light issue that sometimes resulted in a forced pull over now message on the dash. The car would then be inoperable for a short period until it was restarted after a short wait. In each case, the dealers mechanics said they couldnt diagnose it unless the problem was occurring in front of them at that moment. One dealer said that if they had the car for a few weeks that they might be able to do something. Adam was able to drive it and record the problem in one day. The diagnosis was a relatively inexpensive blend door motor that directs air over the battery to cool it. The fix has solved the problem after we lived through the pain for months. We are very glad that we brought it in and saved a lot of money versus the dealer. They really have good hybrid knowledge, even more than the dealer that is supposed to back the car. Highly recommended.

So this is my second visit to the shop since my car was giving me death triangle signs so I thought it’s my hybrid battery problem so this guy Adam (ez) did the diagnostics and told me it’s not the battery its the problem with my engine oil it was low and due to that I was getting the death triangle signals I really respect his honesty towards his work he is the best person I’ve ever met in car repair industry had it been someone else would have definitely conned me on top of that I got lucky when I told him about my catalytic converter being stolen and he told me they do install catalytic shields and with no pressure sale I asked him to show the shield they install I must say it’s better than what you get from Toyota service center or after market and lot cheaper almost half the price I am uploading pictures for reference .Adam (ez) you rock bro keep doing great work with your honest ethics and you will go miles away in your life god bless you thanks again

I was extremely pleased with Faraj and his team at Prius Hybrid Battery of San Jose. I have a 2006 Prius and it was displaying the red triangle (hybrid battery failing indicator) on the dash. All my engine lights were turned on on my dashboard and the car was no longer running. Adam and Farraj provided me with excellent customer service. They made sure to perform their best professional labor, my car was supposed to be ready in 3 days but they had my car ready by the next day! My Prius battery had been acting up for a few days with the energy level going up and down which got me really concerned. I researched online about this and found that the problem could be a faulty/near end of life battery. I looked for different quotes from different people online and even talked to them about what my options could be but to be honest they just sounded shady and where pushing hard to get a battery replaced without even testing or seeing my car. The last person to call was this business and a gentleman called Faraj. He offered to test the battery at no charge and give me a straight answer on what I needed. Once I arrived to his business he was very courteous, professional and kept his word as far as checking the health of my battery and giving me an honest opinion. It’s hard to find now a days people that are good, honest and reliable. I also appreciated the way he spent time explaining to me what a drained battery looks like and all the help he provided.
