I was super impressed with the service these guys provided. I was caught out when my car died in a parking lot (I’m not a local) and had to get it towed. They went above and BEYOND even waiting for me past their closing time because the tow truck came so late. I was greeted by a great group of mechanics who took the time to get me sorted before they left late for the day. I got a call early the next morning informing me that that had already looked at my vehicle and diagnosed the issue and it would be fixed by that afternoon. I have had many negative experiences with car repair companies jacking up pricing and taking forever to address issues and I was absolutely blown away by the service of Reeves. Not only did they value me as a customer but were quick, efficient and honest. Super impressed.

First time Ive been to Reeves Automotive went in with a thought of having a bad coil thinking that it was going to be around $400 to replace. Dave called and gave me the scenarios and his experience on the 3.6 engine and emphasized to expect the worst as it turns out it was not the worst case scenario and because of his honesty I decided to add a little extra work to his original estimate all of $1,200 at the end it was just over $1,300 he replaced all three coils on the engine Bank that was covered by the intake manifold he took care of an oil leak as well and replaced all the plugs I am very satisfied and will be bringing my Lexus into him to have my timing belt done in about four thousand miles thank you for your service appreciate your honesty.

Ive been coming to Daves shop for many years because the service is always excellent and the prices are fair. Chris also runs the front of the shop and he is fantastic as well. The team of mechanics are great. Its clear that Daves philosophy is to build long time customers by making trusted relationships.

Brought in a car for a pre purchase diagnostic... owner seemed honest and well intentioned enough. Told me the car was in excellent shape, that it only needed a new tail light and that the timing belt had never been replaced and should be ASAP, as it was approaching 100k. Sounded fine. I buy the car and quickly discover it didn’t just need a new tail light, it needed a whole new tail lamp (socket was totally melted) which a quick look inside would’ve revealed. That tail lamp on this ‘94 had been discontinued, luckily I found one at a wrecking yard. I then went to get the timing belt replaced... and discover (after the work was done) that in fact the timing belt HAD BEEN REPLACED at some point. I was told it was still old and warranted replacement, but who the hell knows, my guess is it probably wasn’t that urgent. $1000. Maybe the replacement wasn’t on the vehicle’s history report, maybe they missed it, but the combination of these two oversights is pretty crazy for a mechanic with such high reviews. I’d also called them and told another mechanic to leave a message with the owner about the first issue who I dealt with, never got a call back. I imagine i will get a response now. All in all pretty disappointing.

This place was amazing! I had gone to a place before this for an oil change. They stripped my drain plug and tried to add on extra charges. I told them to drop my car and I took it here. Not only did those issues the other place said I had disappear but they did my oil change and gave me a new drain plug for free. In addition the other place had dumped oil down my entire engine block wich caused my car to smoke heavily. they degreased my whole engine for free as well.They are all about taking care of the customer here and want to build a ongoing relationship. Will go back here everytime!!

I bought a lemon SUV a couple of years ago and had nothing bu troubles with it. I took it back to the dealership seven times but the problem with my engine did not get resolved. Finally, I decided to try Reeves Complete Auto Center. I have never received such excellence in service. They took the burden off of me and dealt with the extended warranty rep and parts supplier. They made sure not to return my vehicle until it was 100%. They fed me updates daily. I would recommend them to anyone in the SCV. They are honest and committed to the best client experience.

I’ve been one who regularly gets second opinions for service to my car, especially on big items and the owner and staff have always tried to be helpful for timing repairs and maintenance so it doesn’t break my budget. I cane here with a client of mine who was looking to purchase a 2010 Prius. It was my first time here so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Right away we were greeted by Dave who is the owner. He was very nice and courteous and my client purchased a pre purchase inspection. Dave went above what I expected to go over the history of the car and in detail see how the service record was in addition to the physical inspection. I highly recommend anyone who is purchasing a car to come here for an inspection and if work needs to be done I’d also recommend them for mechanical work. They were very honest, thorough, and have integrity which is very important for me with anyone I do business with.

Everything about the experience we had with the crew at Reeves was awesome! Dave took great care of us and our van. He worked hard to diagnose our vehicle quickly and explained in detail what was needed. Not only did he explain the problem to us, he made sure to actually show us the problem in action. He wont move forward with any job until he receives your approval (after quoting the full price, including labor) so there will be absolutely no surprises on your bill! Finally, the quality of the work is outstanding, complete with a warranty. I would, without hesitation, recommend Reeves to friends and family!

Great shop! Be WARY of any less than 4-star reviews, they’re clearly not experienced other repair shops. Be thankful they give you a free inspection and tell you what’s wrong with your whip. I had about 1/4 of the stuff wrong with my car that the dealership said was wrong with it, thanks to an honest inspection at Reeve’s.I had breaks done here for my wife’s car and they did a great job and had our car back to us same day. That’s hard to beat! Great shop!

I was having problems with my belt, I changed it but kept hearing it squeal. The dealer was going to charge me 130 just to look at it. Reeves got glowing Yelp reviews so I went to them. They fixed my problem without charging me! Just charged me for oil change and tire rotation, much less than expected. Also, they were done so fast, I dont think I was there even half an hour. I will be bringing my car here for service from now on. Thanks Dave and Chris.

Wow!!! 5 stars x10!!! Brought my 2011 honda pilot to the local honda dealer to fix an A/c issue. They fixed the A/c issues but found other “ problems”. I Googled local auto centers and found Reeves Complete Auto. I contacted them and the owner Dave contacted me within 30 minutes. Dave gave me an estimate for the timing belt and valve adjustment which was $500 less than the dealer. And as for the rest of the problems he wanted to recheck my pilot. Guess what.... no other problems!!!! Not only did I save money - more importantly I found an honest, straight forward, superb communicator and skilled professionals!!!! Thank you Dave, Chris and the rest of the crew. You have earned my familys business not to mention the dozens of friends and family I have told. This is the second time I have been to Reeves. What I like about them is that they are fast knowledgeable and fair priced.

They try to make the most money out of you buy saying certain things need to be replaced when they really dont. I took my car to get my ac diagnosed and they told me I have a leak coming from the compressor and evaporator, both relatively costly parts and theyd charge me $1400 to fix it. Since it was a leak I asked if I could just replace the seals they said no, so I went home took the evaporator out just to find it was perfectly in tact, so I went against what they said and replaced the oring seal to the evap and charged my ac and then BOOM I have a working ac with cold air. Its been almost a week and it still blows cold with no more signs of leaks, I only spent $25 (5 on o rings at autozone, and 20 on r134a)Overall be careful because they might tell you to replace certain things that might be fine just to make more money because I know that mechanics charge a lot on labor and if you dont want to waste your hard earned money then I suggest looking elsewhere.

I have family members who go to Reeves and this was my first visit. Im a do-it-yourself person when possible and had spent about 8 hours chasing a squeak when making turns in my Dodge Ram 1500. It was hard to isolate, sounded like it was coming from everywhere in the front end when I rocked the truck. I replaced some bushings, lubed everything possible, issue still persisted. I took it to Reeves and Chris and Dave both commented it sounded more like the frame vs. suspension and it was a head scratcher. Chris said they had equipment that could isolated it and they gave me an estimate for 1 hour diagnosis. Chris asked if I needed a ride and I said its long way over to Castaic but didnt even hesitate with not a problem, Ill Uber you home. Wow, what service, try that at a dealer! Chris called a couple hours later and said it was indeed a right side front frame bushing which was going to be very expensive to fix, involved lifting the body off the frame. No pressure at all to resolve it, I said Id think about it since it wasnt dangerous to drive just annoying. I picked up the truck and thanked them for their honesty and expertise and their 100% guarantee that was the issue. Im confident any other shop or dealer would have just started replacing components and prying money from my wallet with no resolution, Reeves has integrity, they are willing to say we dont know but we will find out before we do any work, a rare find in todays market of shady mechanics and dealers. I took the truck home and emptied a 1/2 bottle of silicone lubricant into the bushing on on the frame. My first turn I heard a pop and I think whatever was wrong pushed the bushing back into place, maybe, might just be the silicone working for now. Regardless, its squeak free for the past two weeks, I would have never known where to point the spray hadnt been for Reeves hard work, they pinned it down to one specific place and were 100% right. Thanks Dave, Chris and the entire team!Vehicle: Dodge Pickup Service Date: 08/09/2017Update: 9/1/17: Still squeak free, silicon still working and Ill continue that until I have to replace the bushing.
