The book store had a very good selection of books. They covered every subject that you could think of. With the coffee shop right there it was a very nice addition. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would go there again for my book needs.

I LOVE Copperfields. They have an amazing selection of books, a great little Cafe, and a really knowledgeable, friendly staff. The staff even recommends books and says why theyre so good! Whenever I go in, Im tempted to spend way too much money - and I feel really at home with other book mavens.

Copperfields, even those rare times I dont buy something, is always at least a step above any other book store. They offer such a warm, friendly environment at all of their stores, that I know I will always be helped as if I was the only person there.

First time visitor.It was a very cozy little bookstore with a coffee shop inside.Very well organized and extremely tidy!The gentleman at the register was extremely kind and very helpful.The woman who was assisting at the register was quite curt, and came across as cold when addressing customers. I didnt like the discordant vibe she presented at all - very negative.Friendliness and kindness make or break an experience for me. The store/shop need not be a 5 star place for me to enjoy it, as the positive and sweet disposition of the employees are what truly counts coupled with their sincere desire to help.Youll have fun looking around if you visit!They have a great selection of books :)Just a heads up. Please wary of the older woman in her late 50s with silver hair. It may ruin your experience there.

A local bookstore with a very good selection of fiction, kids books, non-fiction. Great travel and cookbooks sections and great coffee table books. The selection of magazines is excellent. They also offer beautiful journals and notecards. The staff is very helpful. You can also sit down in the little coffee corner where are a few tables. Nice place to connect face to face.

Went to find a book for my nephew, well for my nephews son. Asked where the kids book section was. Clerk showed me the section. He asked if there was anything on particular I wanted. I mentioned a title. He took me directly to the specific series of books. I asked after another series. He went and looked it up and showered me where to find that series. Excellent customer service. Great book store.

Its kinda like Amazon, but they sell mostly books here, along with some games and puzzles. Its a cute little community real-life Amazon I guess. It seems cheaper and better to support locally so I like to get books from here instead of Amazon when they have them. Theres also a cafe. Located in Montgomery Village so youll almost definitely get parking, unless you dont, but you probably will honestly.

Loved this place. I bought some wonderful books for my neices. They had a great selection for children and fun little toys for them as well.

I love all of the Copperfield stores. They each have their own speciality. This one has some of the best staff picks and great location. Its a little small but it is very easy to find what you need.

I adore this book store. Even met one of my favorite writers. Always clean, great staff, temperature controled.

I love the section with staff favorite picks and reading why they liked them. The set up of this environment is very friendly and pleasent. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Its nice to have a coffe shop right in there too. Would be nice if it where a little more wheelchair accessible, mainly it was difficult getting in and out the doors unless someone volunteers to open it for us.

Best new bookstore in Santa Rosa. Lots of good staff always able to help. The cafe is boring and nothing to get excited about, but it is nice to have when it is open. The layout is very good for visiting folks and not getting lost in the stack, though that can be why you might go to a book shop, like Treehorn ;-)Here is an update, I still love this store and this years warehouse sale was great. I found several Jamie Oliver cook books for more than half off. They have some fun looking author events as well when I was passing through on my route home.

Copperfields Books is the best local bookstore in the North Bay. Each and every store always hosts friendly staff, and a great selection for the space. This location is no exception. Ive only had good experiences in this location, and love wandering the bookshelves to find the next readable novel. This is my favorite location in Santa Rosa.

Was in this book store a month ago. I was in the childrens book section looking for new books for my 8year old, 4year old, and 2year old. Before we starting shopping we stopped by the coffee bar for waters and a coffee for me. We started looking through books and I saw the no food, no drinks sign. So I left my son and daughter to continue to look through books while I set drinks on a close near by table. I turned around quickly because I could hear my 4 year old had become upset. He had picked a reading card set from the clearance table ( this was a 2.99 item ) and excitedly open them quitely on the ground in the childrens reading section. One of your employees an older woman was standing over my son yelling at him. I walked over. Explained that I had every intention to buy the item. She the. Grabs the item out of my sons hand. I told her again that I was buying the item and that this was unnecessary. She ignored me completely and then started grabbing the other items away from him. I told her to please stop. My son is autistic and physical contact for strangers is very distressing, also that her grabbing the items away from was triggering him. This older employee said Stealing is wrong he needs to learn, its not my fault your child cant act right. I was stunned. Furious. I grabbed the items from. Her purchased them and told the clerk ( a tall masculent woman ) what your other employee had done. She gave me a half assed apologies and while processing my transaction continued to talk to another employee about their weekend drinking plans. In 2018 books stores are not necessary. Everything in your store can be purchased cheaper, faster, and frankly with better customer service online. The only reason people like myself even bother with books stores is for the experience of touch, smelling, feeling, books in the hand. To really look through and experience a book before you purchase. Every single associate in your business is awful. The experience was awful. Complete disregard for value a paying customer deserves. You should be ashamed.

Just made a fast stop at Copperfields to buy seven Christmas Cards for our displaced family members. Since Sawyers went out of business, Copperfields carries the best Greeting Card selection in Santa Rosa. Oh, yes, they have books too.

Enjoyed perusing the large variety of books and merchandise. Found a map book from The Lonely Planet and leveled readers for my students.
