Honestly the entire experience was no more than tedious and draining, I had to purchase a new book which cost over $100 for a class I ended up dropping. I went to return the book because it was still new in the shrinkwrap and it was at that point they informed me that I only had 2 weeks after the start of the class to return the book for a refund. To top things off, they also refused to buy back ANY of the textbooks that I had including the new one. If you can find somewhere else to buy I strongly recommend it, and if you have to rent, do it on Amazon.

The text books are well organized and during buying season the have dedicated staff helping you find your class. They usually have used copies for a discount. They keep the checkout lines flowing well even during busy times. The non text book inventory is typically over-priced. They have good snacks.

They run this place like DMV, super slow when they have any business and without any consideration to the student. Every other school I’ve attended or visited has been more efficient and student friendly. They offer you candy on your way out after they’ve screwed you over at least.

Great school

As college book stores go its fine. Obscenely overpriced books. I put the quote marks in because a lot of what the sell arent even bound like a book. Its just the loose pages which you have to put in a binder and then hope you dont tear while logging it around in your back pack. I suppose it would be ok if you got a discount, but even the collection of loose leaf pages can run you almost $200.

Curbside service. No waiting

They have the worst service ever. I am never able to get my books on time, they put me behind weeks and I eneded up barely passing my first test because of it.

Good stop for something quick on campus or for convenient school supplies. They have it all.

It was a nice place to start with. It wasnt busy as I thought it would be. Very nice people and friendly. I got some scamtrons and that was it.

The students and staff at the SRJC bookstore are incredibly helpful. They have a wide variety of school supplies, tools, snacks, and books to prepare you for class. Understandably, their books are a little more expensive than you can find online, but they do their best to keep prices low. Overall a great experience with them as an SRJC student.

Overpriced. Book was 80$ at store. At Alibris, just over 7$. Customer service was nice tho

Crowded, over-priced, not open early, but otherwise very convenient, they will have the books you need for classes, and if you too balk at the exorberient prices, then you can at least scope out the book you will need, and purchase them elsewhere.
