Honestly they were way faster replacing my windshield than they initially advised. Said the recalibration of the sensors could take awhile but they knocked it out quickly. Think i may have been there 50 min. Need to make a return trip since I my Corkcicle water bottle in the waiting room. Dang! Nice job boys!

We used Safelite to repair a chip in the glass and I am not impressed with the product they use. Their product does not fill in chips and you are still left with a rough feeling hole in the glass. The glass repair kits from AutoZone can completely fill a chip at a fraction of the price. This company used to excel with these repairs. Not sure what is going on.

This was my first time ever needing my windshield replaced or really doing any repairs on my car at all. The Safelite staff at this location were extremely kind and patient with me and even discounted my repair since the damage wasnt as bad as they expected. Very easy and stress-free experience.I recommend the drop&go option when making an appointment for a repair. I was able to drop my car off, spend the rest of the morning at an auction with my boyfriend, and then go out for lunch on our way back to pick up my vehicle.And lifetime warranty!Also they sanitized the inside of my car and cleaned all of the windows inside and out!Great place.

Professional quick and very informative I would recommend their service I only had some chips repaired instead of replacing the entire windshield and you need to know that if youre just going to repair chips they seal it with an epoxy so it doesnt crack any further and stabilizes the Integrity of the windshield but it does not remove the actual site of the chip I thought that was odd but I Googled it and they were absolutely correct you can fix it but you cant hide nothing you can do to hide it but they are great people and again I would recommend them

I would not recommend Safelite to anyone.We were told to stay home last Friday between noon and five so they could replace our windshield.They didnt show up.They told us it had to be fixed in the shop.They gave us an appointment for Saturday at one oclock.We drove there only to be told our new windshield was broken in shipping.They rescheduled it for Monday at one p.m.We called to make sure they had our new windshield.We were told the truck didnt show up We are still waiting.Im ready to call our insurance company and go through someone else.

Everything went very smoothly for me. Shane did a great job in replacing my windshield, and he even vacuumed the drivers and passengers footwells. Shane was very polite, patient, and knowledgeable in answering my questions. I was out of there in less than one hour. The Safelite AutoGlass website made it super easy to order the correct windshield and to set up the appointment online. I would definitely recommend this business.

Terrible experience with Safelite. I will never go back. 0 deductible with Allstate. They couldnt get their s*** together and tried to charge me. Uncomfortable confrontation with staff. I filled out their survey afterwards and requested a call from their corporate office and never received one. Theyre too big for their own good and do not really care about the customer anymore. Your technician replace my window but did not put the trim strips back on. It has been 6 weeks and they still have not finished my windshield. This is the worst customer service that I can imagine. I would NEVER use them again.

Shawn was spectacular! Arrived at my condo early, was knowledgeable, personable and made me feel comfortable and that I was in good hands. He used all cleaning and Covid safety procedures and recalibrated my vehicle with ease. Cannot say enough good things about him he should train others and I hope this finds its way into his personnel file he is top notch!! Would highly recommend him/this location. Well I’ll keep this as short as possible... I contacted this company to see if they could do my windshield and they setup all the paperwork and the date etc. sent me numerous forms to my email even told me what time they would be coming. The next week I was called on the day of my appointment and I was told that I didn’t carry the right insurance ? Well I gave them my insurance information the week before and that was even before I got all the forms and notifications of the appointment???? How do you even let that happen ? I will not recommend this place to anyone hopefully nobody has to go through this trickery!

A few days ago safelite replaced my windshield and i thought it was going to be a terrible long process to get a new one but all i had to do was schedual the appointment and they came to my house and did it then and there, and they did it so fast! Thses guys do not play around and waste time, the name of the technician that came to my house was Shelby and his cousin Matt, and they got to work and got the job done! They were both really kind and professional guys! Hopefully i wont need any other glass on my car replaced but if i do i would not think twice about safelite! And i would request Shelby to be your technician, that guy is an outstanding installer!

UNPROFESSIONAL staff. The tech brought the incorrect windshield. He said he wont be able to go back till next day. I am going out of town. I called the office and asked for the manager. Nisha answered the call and was very sarcastic. She just wont patch me up with a manager. I told her do I have to call corporate? She said go ahead, so I did. I then got a phone call from a MATT Assistant Manager, and left me a message advising me to call my insurance company and have them help me find another vendor for they are canceling my order and wont service me. Hmmm, I think he needs a lot of training in customer resolution. Spoke to Bonnie at corporate and what a breath of fresh air! She was empathetic, professional and did whatever she can to resolve the issue. She called the operations manager handling Sarasota and was able to re-open the work order so they can fix my windshield tomorrow. Because of the incompetence and arrogance of the Safelite Sarasota Office, it took 3 days to resolve a simple matter of replacing my windshield. Progressive is their biggest account. I will be calling my insurance company and report them. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. What a shame. This office brought safelites brand name down.

The price was the best around. The guy that came out was on time, professional, and extremely courteous. He had the equipment to do my 4x4 f250. He even cleaned the floors when he was done! Top notch all-around!

Made appointment with safelite after getting a better price than competitor in Bradenton area. The rep waited until the car was brought to the store on a trailer that had was rented, to announce that safelite had the windshield but that the parts for the installation were obsolete even though 2 other places in the area had the obsolete parts. Rep was asked if he had installed the windshield in other similar cars, he said yes and they were all a pain to do. so it seems to me that they just didnt want to complete the install. when asked if i could just buy the windshield they said i could but that i would still be charged labor for the Install. this was not a good experience and could have been solved by a simple phone call ahead of time.

I did the no touch service. I purchased the service on the web, brought the vehicle in after hours, dropped the key in the key drop. The next day they called me and told me my vehicle was complete. I asked that they leave the key in the vehicle and lock the door. They made sure I had another key to use to access the vehicle before they would lock the key in. I picked up the vehicle after hours. No touch service.

There was no experience... I called 3x and NEVER talked to anyone, you want business answer the phone! I give them -1 stars

Weve been trying to get a windshield for our 2009 Mercedes S-550 since May and it is now the end of July. When they have brought a windshield, which was at least 3 times, it was the wrong windshield or parts broken off. If we didnt catch it, it probably would have been installed. They have been stalling us for months now saying that a windshield has been on back order. Carmen has even gone so far as to imply that since it was an older car, there may not be many of them on the road anymore and windshield (OEM) are hard to get ... a 2009 Mercedes. An obvious attempt to bloviate. We are letting our insurance company know and switching to another supplier. More later.After 6 months for the Sarasota Safelite and numerous attempts to get them to respond, we finally gave up and went to another company. The new company had a windshield in and installed within 3 weeks. And, it was the correct windshield this time from Mercedes. Safelite Orlando and Safelite Sarasota both kept us waiting since November of last year for a windshield in our car. Weve never had trouble with them before for any of our Mercedes in past years. Things change.

When I greeted him, I was assured that I could return back to work with no worries. He called me as soon as my windshield was repaired, my receipt was in the car, my seats were vacuumed and my car was locked up. Excellent service!! Excellent technician!!

My insurance made it incredibly easy to book a technician to come out to my home to replace my cracked windshield in my 2012 Prius. I was given a rather wide arrival window, and on the day of replacement the technician gave a narrower arrival window (which he met) and was in contact with my husband throughout the day. My husband reports the technician was friendly and efficient. Overall everything I needed from windshield replacement. Would use again

Safelite is the company to choose if you want your windshield to be repaired beautifully and fast. Safelite has excellent customer service. The technician that helped me was Carmen and he was professional, kind and made the process a lot less stressful.

I read mixed reviews of this company. They might do a good job fixing windshield but customer service is the worst today. My appointment is supposed to be between 8am and 12 pm and here we are right now almost 4 p m. I have not heard from the technician. I called 4 times to promise me within the hour since 12 noon. So much for their fast and reliable service motto.

I had a rock hit the windshield of my 2018 pickup. A tech came to my place of work and replace the windshield during business hours. Very convenient, but excess sealant pressed out in approx a two inch spot, and I was told that I could just pull it off after it cured (which I still havent done). Later that evening it rained, and the next day when I got in my truck after work, I noticed it being very humid inside the vehicle, and there was a line of condensation inside, along the bottom of the windshield. Im scheduled for warranty work at the shop, and will update this review. *****Update***** On the day of my 4PM appointment, I called over at 11:30 AM or so just to confirm, and make sure they had everything they might need to do the replacement. At that point, they asked if it was possible to bring my vehicle over then. From the time I arrived, to the time I left, was right about an hour, or slightly less. More importantly, it was done right. No gobs of sealant pressed out along the sides of the windshield, and the rubber trim on the bottom appeared to align, and fit properly. No rain last night, so I couldnt say if it leaks. Twenty four hour wait before I can wash it, so this review may change, but I hope not. Staff was professional, and treated me, and my vehicle with respect.

Super professional and helpful staff! When I arrived at my scheduled drop off time, I was quickly greeted and assisted by Robert. After telling him that prior to arriving, my tire had a leak in it, he quickly reassured me he would work with the tire place next door to get it taken care of while it was there. This was completely unexpected and beyond exceptional customer service. The technician reviewed everything with me and even had me inspect the work to ensure I was completely satisifed.I couldn’t recommend this place enough- professional and exceptional are the best words I could use to describe my entire experience.

Extremely upset that I have been rescheduled 3 times. Their manager Carmen seems on top of things but whom ever they order glass from is terrible. 2 times the windshield had scratches on it and the back glass I needed didnt come with gasket. Not same day service. Now almost 4 days. They called the night before each time to say they had the items and would be there.I have now gone with another company

We got a rock chip while traveling on vacation. The technician came to our vacation rental to repair the chip, which we really appreciated! He was very professional, and did a great job. He even cleaned our windows and vacuumed out the car! I would highly recommend this company!

I was originally scheduled for a date, but needed it rescheduled, and after the technician told me it was rescheduled I called a few days later, just for them to tell me that they never rescheduled it. It has made it very inconvenient for me and I have waited over a week to get my windshield fixed. I strongly do not recommend.

These guys made a mistake however were quick to take responsibility and get it done the right way.

Safelite representative couldnt have done anything else to make our experience perfect. He kept us informed of his ETA and arrived exactly when he said he would. He explained everything that he was going to do, was knowledgeable and friendly, and did an excellent job.

This company is horrible. I scheduled my appointment for a tech to come out a week in advance. The morning of I got a call that the tech was not available and would have to reschedule in two more days. The day of the second appointment rolls around and no one shows up in the time allotted for the appointment (8am-12). So I called the company to see why no one showed up and I spoke with a tech who said he cant make the appointment because his girlfriend is pregnant and is expected to have the baby any day now. When I asked why someone else wasnt put on the job he said he tried to call me. (Which he did at 7am from a long distance phone number and left no voicemail and never tried to call again. So I had no idea it was him) He also stated that it has been raining so its not ideal for them to come out. Which I stated in return that the car is covered in a garage. He asked if I could come to the shop and I said no, I have taken time off of work for both of these appointments and I am expecting someone to come today. He said he would call me back. 20 mins later he finally called back and said that they dont even have the glass for my windshield and will have to overnight it for an appointment tomorrow morning. Needless to say I am going with a different company. My appointment was scheduled a week in advance giving the company ample time to get the parts they need and the techs they need to perform the service. It was obvious that they were trying to cover their mistakes and were unwilling to come out to my house. If you dont want to do service calls, dont make it an option with your company. Unprepared and unprofessional. Save yourself the trouble and book with another company.

Never again. I had to have 4 different appointments to get a chip fixed. More importantly, there was a dent on my car after a technician visited and customer service told me the next tech would investigate. If by investigate they meant he would try to convince me that the damage was not Safelites fault and refuse to do any kind of investigation then yes. They investigated. At this point, Im tired and Im over it. These people will run you through the gamut for a simple service and in the end advise you to come to their shop which is not convenient hence why I had YOU come out to ME. Why do I feel like Im doing all the work Safelite? No one wants to look into my cars damage, check the photos they take before and after service, nothing. And every employee tells me the next person will do the work. In actuality, the next person has no idea whats doing on and is just concerned about getting a good survey so they can get a bonus I will never use this service again. I will never let this company near my car again. I will never recommend them for any services. 1 star because my windshield finally got fixed after 2 1/2 months so something came of it. But now I will be paying out of my pocket for damage that was made to my car by your technician. Thanks.

I did not have the option for them to come to me. So I had to bring my car to a repair shop, which was 40 minutes away one way. It was quick, as promised. However, as soon as I get off the lot, there was a slice in the windshield. I had to reschedule another appointment for 2 weeks out. I was disappointed, but the manager stated he will offer me a gift card for mileage and gas. I accepted this as an apology. I called twice about the gift card, and it never came. From my perspective, it was a false hope for me to stay silent. Bad business, in my opinion.

They do a good job and work safe and fast

Safelite did a fantastic job! Professional all the way. I needed a new back window for my Ram pickup, and since it’s the three piece window with power slider the entire unit needed to be replaced instead of just the one broken pane. It’s an expensive repair, however after making several calls I found that Safelite had the best price. They worked me into their schedule quickly and did a fantastic job. They even managed to transfer a sticker from the old glass to the new! The shop was spotless and everyone there was neatly uniformed, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Safelite!

I had my windshield replaced recently. I got a quote and made my appointment online, which was super easy and convenient. Incompetent! Earliest appointment to come to fix a chip in my windshield was 8 days away. On the day of my appointment they had me wait for 5 hours then told me they weren’t able to come out and would have to reschedule to next week sometime.

Had rear window replaced on my Mazda Tribute. Did not go through insurance - price was very fair. Staff was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Repair was quick (39 minutes). Overall Im very pleased with the service i received and would happily recommend their services.

Loved having my local safelite repair my windshield! They came to my work, said theyd be there between 12 and 2pm and showed up at 12:30pm! I was expecting much later in the day! The gentleman who worked on my car was very nice! He repaired the small crack within 20 minutes, washed all my windows and vacuumed my carpets! I am very impressed and would recommend them to everyone!
