Very convenient and essential business! I really appreciate the work that 3R technology does, its not easy to keep up with all of the electronic waste that we generate. By sorting through the equipment and extracting value from the equipment, theres a reduction in stuff that ends up in landfill.The drop-off is convenient, I used the 1st Avenue site, there was ample signage, an easy dock to back the car into, and there was no delay from the time I rang the bell to the time I was being helped.

Incredible store with great friendly staff. I was a little scared of buying a used laptop but I bought a super nice Dell XPS 13 from them at an INCREDIBLE price! The laptop has been working perfectly with no issues. My charger broke and I brought it in and they instantly replaced it free of charge! 3R Technology is the BEST place you can go in Seattle for recycled hardware that I know of currently. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and the prices are VERY competitive, and in most cases, unbeatable. Their return policy is great for most things, too. If you want/need something specific and dont mind waiting, they even have a list that you can join to do that.3R is also a great place to buy hard disks and solid state drives, along with older video cards for basic tasks or providing extra outputs for a computer. They also have RAM at extremely competitive prices. Come give these guys a visit! Their staff is awesome.Unlike the other PC recycling place a couple miles north, 3R is very organized and have an extremely clean store.

Junio at 3R is the best! He equipped our office with two amazing computers (even going out of his way to find us a second machine when they only had one in stock originally). Always friendly and helpful. Weve purchased 5 recycled computers, 10 recycled monitors, and 2 recycled laser printers over the course of about two years for an engineering office. None had any issues. Perfect place to buy a great computer inexpensively. Memory upgrades available too. Warranty offered on all items, but never had to use it. PC and Apple products available. They will treat you right. Solid people at 3R...if only there was a software place like 3R!

Not the best place for newer solo components. But if you need something older this place will have it. If you do want to piece together a system there, then the discounts when bundling will make it worth it.I only needed a power supply and video cable so I didnt need much help. But while I was there those who were seeking help were getting it.

Its amazing what people throw away, I happened to visit on Amazon prime day in search of a dc converter, had a shopping cart of electronics ready to be ordered after i stopped in here. I wound up spending 1/2 the cost and got everything I was in the market for, 2x8gb RAM and a wireless keypad to use as a remote control. Staff was friendly, low key, and helped me go through the boxes of cords and memory to find the right parts. Will definitely be back in the future.

Im not a gamer so I dont need the fastest whizbang. I needed servers and server parts. I had requirements that exceeded my budget. I got a bunch of servers that took care of my needs and didnt break my budget. Ive discovered that used gear is so much better than new because over buying just means I have parts for the next surprise from management.

I drove an hour to get to this place to look at a laptop they posted on Craigslist only to find that they had sold the laptop the previous day and didnt delete the ad. I initially gave them a 1-star rating for advertising things they didnt have.A couple of weeks later, I saw that they had another similar laptop at a very friendly price, so I jetted right over there and they actually had it, so at least their ads arent completely fake.I checked to verify that the specs matched their description, and it did. I was hoping that they restored the system to factory original using the recovery partition, that way all the proper drivers would be installed. The salesperson seemed a bit evasive about the history of the laptop and what they did to restore the OS. The video and sound worked OK in the store, so I bought it knowing that if I discovered problems later, I had a 30 day warranty. It took them half the day to finally delete the ad. They probably didnt delete it until the next person came in to see it and it wasnt there, just like what happened to me weeks earlier.The original hard drive recovery partion was missing. By entering the service tag number on the manufacturer website, I found that this laptop originally had a hard drive that was twice as large as what was currently installed, so somebody downgraded it.3R obvioulsy loaded Windows from a generic Windows disk which wasnt specific to this laptop. When you do it this way, Windows installs generic drivers for video, touchpad, audio, etc. As a result, the SD card reader wasnt working, the power of the Intel HD graphics was not available, resolution options werent available, the screen brightness couldnt be adjusted, the advanced sound options interface wasnt there, etc.I had to download about 20 drivers, including BIOS, chipset controllers and drivers for the card reader, video, audio, etc. to get everything right, which took many hours. Be aware that if you dont install these things in the correct sequence, you can have problems.Really, you should install all the latest drivers anyway, and luckily theyre still available, so Im not too disappointed. I just wish they were more up-front with me about how they refurbish their laptops.So if you know how to fix a computer after you buy it, you can find some good deals here. Just know what to expect.
