Absolutely a must go, discount for locals, so many amazing and beautiful souls work here and come to do their work here, its a definite higher consciousness social hub, the coffee options are amazing and absolutely delicious, lots of vegan options, pastries and food smell and look divine, and the view is absolutely breathtaking, I recommend a visit even if just passing through and if you are a local this is absolutely the spot to get your regular morning coffee, tea or tonic. Options for medicinal mushrooms as well, absolutely amazing gem of a place known as creekside coffee
Good coffee, made from an AZ roaster. Had a cortado and the espresso is nice and bold in flavor. Awesome views, inside is slightly small given the demand, but when weather is good, they have a great outside patio area overlooking a panoramic view.Came here another time and its in my opinion the best spot for coffee in Sedona. The Golden latte is phenomenal, delicious and unique. Staff has been friendly and courteous, thank you! Get the cheese Danish too its flaky delicious awesome.
I experienced one of the best pumpkin spice lattes with a view that will take your breath away. They have a good amount of seating inside and out (movie theater style seating to soak in the view and tables too).If you are driving, know that their parking tends to always fill up and you could find parking a little further up and across from them.
Food is amazing. Their quiche has great portion and savory taste. That will satisfied all the travelers who just need a nice snack.Enjoy the red rock view from the balcony and sip on a hot coffee. It is a perfect way to start a wonderful road trip in winter Sedona.Sandwich and avocado toast is great too. But I love their quiche more.
Staff are normally friendly, coffee is pretty good, views are unbeatable. It’s a shame all this doesn’t matter since we’re in a pandemic and staff can’t be bothered to adhere to their own posted policies or enforce the policy on patrons. I recommend Oak Creek or Firecreek in the Village where rules are actually followed, tables are constantly sanitized, and staff are both friendly and masked.
The place had some great views. The food was decent. We had chai latte, avocado toast and pumpkin muffin. The avocado toast was average. The pumpkin muffin was my personal favorite. But the sad thing is that I found the covid regulations not upto the mark though. One lady who was at the register was wearing a net scarf as mask which wouldn’t serve the purpose of mask. The patio furnitures were not cleaned too.Overall if you want to be covid safe I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Love this coffee shop. Probably one of the best in the state given the view, outdoor seating, tasty bites and happy people. It is a bummer their COVID policies are so lackadaisical. It’s a small place that is often busy so I don’t feel very comfortable hanging out there during the pandemic and won’t come back until it’s over. That’s the only reason I am giving this place 3 stars. A place that brings such a lovely community together should also be a force in protecting it.
Staff is really awesome. The manager brought our breakfast for the table and I didn’t order eggs sunny side up (I ordered over medium), he got it fixed right away. It took less than a minute it felt like and I had the perfect eggs in front of me. The food here is delicious! Would come back and recommend.
I had the rose latte and sat on the back patio overlooking the canyons. It has such a great view! It seemed pretty quiet considering its close to the touristy heart of Sedona. The staff was very kind. They also make one of the best breakfast sandwiches with avocado Ive ever had in my life!
Great place to visit for breakfast with coffee while viewing Red Rock. The avocado sandwich was delicious and fresh, and the English muffin had moist and sweet blueberries. The staff was very friendly and gave me an extra bag for to go.I sat down outside at 9:30 AM. Unfortunately, the day was too hot, my phone alarmed caution because of the temperature. My phone didnt work for a few minutes.I dont recommend staying outside for a long time.
Creekside Coffee has some of the best views in probably the whole country maybe planet for a Coffee shop so that gives it major points from the get go.There is plenty of outdoor seating but kind of cramped indoors; so maybe not great in the Winter. Prices are very high but you could say its fair for the world class view. There is also a very limited food, snack selection so cant give 5 stars but its definitely a nice place to chill and enjoy the views over a hot drink.Recommended.
My husband and I discovered this coffee shop while vacationing in the area. Once we found it, it quickly became our top choice for a good brew and a great view. We also sampled some of the pastries, which were also quite good. The service was very friendly and accommodating. If we return to the area, Creekside Cafe will definitely be one of our first stops!
Excellent coffee so happy they had flat whites. Very nice team there. Expect to wait in line 5-10 min, it moved quickly and drinks came out fast. Lots of healthy breakfast options. Gluten free and vegas options.
My golden latte with CBD was delicious but my partners black coffee was so watered down, it wasnt good. You cant beat the views, they are stunning. I understand the Gov of AZ said masks are optional, but we got a bit of a cold vibe from staff compared to the women in front of us who didnt have a mask on. Overall a decent place to sit back and take in the views.
The worst place to get coffee. Go anywhere else to have a better experience. The staff are unfriendly. They messed up my coffee two times and still couldnt get it right. I just had to leave with the worst coffee I have ever had. The type of customers they attract are really disgusting. Just a bunch of disgusting trump supporters not wearing masks. Because they think they are cool. News flash, your not. Please save your money and go anywhere else.
We searched Google maps for coffee shops around Sedona and this place seems to stand out. There’s a large patio for you to take in the beautiful views of east Sedona over Oak Creek. They have a fine selection of pastries and savories made by a local caterer or assembled in-house. The butter croissant was very good as were the meat pie, scones, crumb cake muffin, avocado toast and bacon egg brie sandwich. They serve coffee from Rattle & Hum (their own roaster?). Service is quick and friendly. All in all this is an enjoyable place to relax with coffee first thing in the morning.
Fantastic views. Fantastic food. Friendly and informative staff. Reasonable prices. Must. Check. Out!I had the crumble cake and a cordata. Absolutely recommend the quiche and iced chai latte which I tried from another plate. The cordata was an espresso with just enough milk to stabilize it. Apparently straight espresso is only ‘good’ for the first 15 or so seconds after pulling it. Again, informative staff. My preference was for the iced chai latte I tried which was slightly sweet and spicy while providing a much needed cool in the Sedona heat. The quiche had a light, flaky crust and smooth egg filling with spinach and feta layered on top. Served hot, it was one of the best quiches I’ve had. Crumble cake was too cakey - not enough crumble.Overall, Creekside Coffee is a must stop by for breakfast establishment for their affordability, great food, friendly staff, and gorgeous views from the seating area.
We love Creekside! Every time we spend any amount of time in Sedona over the years we tend to make many visits to for coffee, food and a second to none atmosphere. As of late, we are very pleased to see the baristas faces and many regulars as well! Creekside obviously fosters a tolerant environment, to those who enjoy the freedom to make personal decisions on what level of precautions to take when in vital gathering spaces. Many praises to the staff and ownership for having the integrity, foresight and heart to leave it up up to the individual. Thank you.
Absolutely incredible views, combined with affordable and well-brewed coffee! The staff are polite and quick to recommend galleries and trails to hike, and are energetic and fast with your orders! We had 10 people in our group and it took less than 20 minutes to get everyones orders in their hands. Well definitely be back our next trip into Sedona.
Great coffee shop with a beautiful view overlooking the creek. And they have a cortado, my favorite coffee drink, which was made to perfection. Staff was friendly and answered some questions about the town and area. Comfortable shop with a variety of seating areas, including soft couches to lounge on.
To be honest I only come here for the views. The coffee and food has been mediocre. Last time I visited they didnt have much in the way of vegan food options except some muffins. The matcha latte I ordered wasnt well whisked, tasted grainy, and formed a skin on top. Ill probably stick to something more basic next time like an Americano. The views are beautiful though and the service is always friendly.
Lines are long and slow. Website is misleading on food size and availability. Food service is very slow. Coffee and available food is good though and there are beautiful views.
Instant coffee tastes better. This place not only had the lamest $5 coffee and lattes (advertised as super amazing special concoctions but really were just luke warm milk) but the service was super slow as well as rude. Views were amazing but walk down the street for the same exact view with better vibes and some actual caffeine. Are people being paid for these reviews?? Lol I’m so confused!
I like this spot for the views and the options (vegan & gluten free). The only vegan baked good they had when we visited was a vegan/GF chocolate cake - not really my jam so I stuck with only a latte (with macadamia milk, pretty good). My mom and sister got muffins that they enjoyed (poppy seed and blueberry). My sister also tried their beetroot latte. Verdict? Good, tasted very earthy, she would get it again. The same space also has wine tasting for Javelina Leap winery. Saturday morning when we visited there was an artist inside playing guitar. This is a great place to hang out for a bit, work or read.Pros: free WiFi, great views of the surrounding area, laid back and quiet, vegan & gluten free options, live music, great decor, friendly serviceCons: parking is difficult on weekends, bathroom is downstairs (not in the cafe), extra charge for non-dairy milk
Nice small coffee shop. Has a really good view of the surrounding mountains. The menu is small but the stuff they did have looked tasty.
We really enjoyed the coffee, breakfast sandwiches and views! Even though it was a busy morning, the staff was very kind and helpful! Grab a cub of coffee, sit outside and enjoy the view 😍
I loved this place and went here several times on my stay in Sedona. Bulletproof coffee option! Yes!! I did it in their local chai latte and it was perfection. They had amazing gluten free and vegan muffins. Try the gluten free banana muffin! Delicious. Staff is super cool the view is lovely and the vibe there is chill.
Great coffee, great service. Only negative reviews are because of the mask policy. The Governor of Arizona lifted the mask restrictions and people have the freedom of choice to wear a mask. If you are afraid of COVID, stay home!
It’s like walking into your best friend’s house. Everyone is so welcoming with friendly smiles. The staff is always on their best. One of the best reviews in town. I don’t live here year round I come out for the summer it is one of the best hangout spots I know. If you just want a coffee or even breakfast they really good food and pastries. Best way to start your morning!!
The views are beautiful, the coffee is great, and the staff are super nice. However, about half of them weren’t wearing masks. I think it’s a bit hypocritical that they ask their patrons to wear them when we enter the store but don’t enforce the same policy with their employees.
The shop was difficult to get to for starters. When we did find a parking place and finally ordered we were told that the restrooms were down a couple flights of stairs. Finely after a 12 min wait I got my chai tea which was amazing. My daughter was not nearly as pleased with her lukewarm hot chocolate. I was not impressed however we were just passing through so was not able to give them a second chance.
The coffee is great and the views are better! I will say, be prepared for a potential wait (especially on a weekend). Built the line went fast and the wait was worth it.
The view at this place is spectacular! Seating is very comfortable, and coupled with the lovey Sedona weather it makes the whole place very welcoming. I leave 2 stars, though, because of the service and the pricing. My husband got a small mocha, and I a normal house brew coffee. That ran us about $11.00. I usually wouldn’t gripe about price if the service is good. Sadly, when we went to order no one met us at the counter. We waited a second, and then assumed that since the iPad for ordering was turned around that it was a self-serve kind of situation. When someone did finally come to the counter, we were pretty rudely informed that no, we weren’t supposed to touch the iPad. And then we were informed again about four seconds later. If you’re looking for a great view, good music, come here. But be wary of bad service and overpriced coffee.
This could have easily been a 5 star review because the location offers a beautiful view of sunrise, the staff were friendly and the coffee was good, however NO ONE was wearing masks, none of the customers or staff and I found that to be an absolute turn off. For everyone suffering and dying from Covid the very least we can do to prevent the spread and look out for each other is wear a mask.
Overall: I give this place three stars, theres nothing special about their coffee or their service. I debated adding an extra star but only for the rustic aesthetic of their patio and the view!Customer service: The time it took to get to the front of the line was a bit excessive. There were only three people in front of us who ordered one drink each, and one ordered a pastry with their iced tea. It took about 10 minutes. The baristas werent very warm and came off a bit unsure of their POS system.Food: We didnt order any food, but the pastries looked delicious! Im pretty well-versed in coffees all over the Phoenix valley and work in the coffee industry. This caramel almond milk latte...well, it tasted as if I had gotten steamed almond milk with caramel coffee-flavored syrup. The black iced tea was super cloudy and tasted like water.Environment: As I said, gorgeous view of the creek and mountains! They had some wonderful seating and movie theatre-style seats which really made the view all the more enjoyable.Cant say Id go here again. But it was a nice place to visit to enjoy the view of Sedona.
These people are the absolute best. Love the people and delicious crafted everything.
Every single time I have a drink there ... it seems as though it’s the best drink I have ever had.I think it is Sedonas’ best coffee.MANY alternative milks, as macadamia, almond, oat ... thank you.The baristas there very much care about the quality of their drinks. Also, a nice selection of foods and pastries, if one wants a ‘bite’.A lot of seating both inside and out.If the line is long ... it is definitely worth the wait.Thank you, Creekside Coffee, and the people there for being the calm in this storm.
Loved the atmosphere, and friendly sevice, fast & efficient service. There is credit card availity. Ordered a lemon poppy seed muffin fantastic with Matcha, Almond, CBD you need to try it, it is the bomb!💥
Best huevos rancheros I have had in a very very long time.
Delicious coffee with a great view! Staff was really nice and my baklava latte was great 🙌
Pastries and coffee were good. But its pretty disturbing to see the baristas not wearing masks in Arizona where so few people are vaccinated.
For stating they have covid policies; there have been zero instructions to customers who were not wearing masks; main employees are refusing or not wearing masks properly and interacting with food and drinks with unwashed hands with a lack of care of sanitation. Very disappointed in the lack of care the employees and the coffee establishment have shown
This place is just amazing. Ive been here earlier in the year and loved it, and it has only gotten better since. Just the right place for some good coffee, friendly vibe and place to enjoy your coffee. They mocha with dark cacao is awesome.
Perfect location, great coffee and lattes...and theyre not covid crazy!...thank you!
Very vegan friendly! Organic fair trade coffee, 4 nondairy milk options, beautiful setting, and fabulous customer service! Doesnt get much better :) loved the avocado toast!
Better than average espresso drinks and a good selection of pastries including gluten free and vegan options. Ordered cortados on a couple different occasions and tried three pastries: an almond bear claw, orange cranberry scone, and a challa cinnamon roll. Also sampled one of the gluten free muffins, which, like the cortados, was better than average for gluten free items. My favorite of the bakery items was the cinnamon roll. It had just the right amount of frosting and the texture of the roll took well to the challah treatment. Excellent scenic view.
Quiet busy shop. Hard working barrista. Enjoyed the house brew and the view!
Great view from the patio. Coffee was standard, nothing special. Served in a paper cup, which I’m not a fan of, but maybe that’s just something during Covid. Pastries were good, but very limited. Great, fast service.
I came in this morning and ordered a lavender latte with oat milk and received a cup of steamed whole milk with no espresso in it. They put the espresso in it for me after I realized it, but it didn’t taste good at all. It was only after driving away and taking a couple sips that I realized they had used cow’s milk. I’m vegan so my stomach can’t digest cow’s milk properly anymore, and I’m now down $7. I tried calling them to get it replaced and the machine went straight to voicemail. Unfortunately I will not be returning.
Great Staff, Great music, great view, great coffee. Laid back! Support Local!
Great coffee, great atmosphere, the best staff, top vibes, overall best people. I might move to Sedona for this place.
I was disappointed. Poor customer service from the guy who rung us up. He didnt greet us when we got to the counter and barely made eye contact. The price was high and after the transaction we realized he charged us for something we didnt order. And then he turned it around on us and said we did order it and that he even asked to double check and we said yes to the item (which didnt happen). It isnt a big deal -- mistakes happen. But to blame the customer to their face for the mistake is immature. With the covid mask-wearing leading to muffled conversation and all the ambient noise in the coffee shop he couldve just heard wrong. And he wasnt attentive. Once we sat down it was nice to enjoy the view and the coffee was good. But there was a hair in the scone we got.
I never leave reviews but am compelled to do so after visiting Creekside Coffee today. The entire staff wore see through mesh scarves as face coverings, some below the nose. Lots of patrons, nearly all unmasked, large groups, no social distancing. This was the scariest and most unsafe establishment I’ve visited since covid began. Really upsetting. And they didn’t have any creamer. How is that even possible at a coffee shop?
Good place to dtart the day. Good espresso. Wish they had all their pastries available at opening time. Otherwise great.
Great atmosphere. Beautiful views. Loved my rose latte drink special.
The mocha was divine and definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. The barista was funny and really cared about everyone’s coffee. He remade an espresso because the person who ordered it walked away and did not know that shots go bad quickly. Also, it is a fun environment. I ordered the peanut butter toast, which was fine, I wish the bread had been sourdough. Great patio!
Great views, ok coffee, horrible staff. Ive visited several times and always had decent service. The current staff is rude to customers and then talks badly about them after theyve left. Their behavior is almost comical. Especially ironic is how they disparage tourists, in a tourism-supported town. And yes, covid precautions arent even imaginary at this place.
