The coffee shop owner sat at a laptop in the shop as the barista made drink after drink with her mask pulled down underneath her nose. Take that into consideration when evaluating how seriously they take food and safety regulations - and their customers. The male cashier couldnt figure out what a quad espresso was, or a serving amount beyond their smallest posted espresso shot, because none of the three staff behind the counter are comfortable communicating with customers. My wife and I regret not asking the owner to please have someone who can follow CDC guidelines REprepare our order. (After sanitizing the espresso machine that theyre breathing on without a mask all day.). The owner stepped in to help after we were confused by getting a half inch of espresso when ordering a quad -- we told her wed sort our coffee needs out SOMEWHERE ELSE. Somewhere that can figure out how masks work and how to make espresso in quantified terms.
Awesome!Simply awesome. The baked goods were delish. The coffee was on point. The cold brew... yum. The oat milk latte was beautiful and delicious...Overall a great place. Great vibe. And a lovely place to start the day.Did I mention the pastries? So amazing.Scone, cookie, blueberry muffin... oh yeah 😀
We really loved this place and the great selection of coffee beverages that you could enjoy from inside their hip space or out on their comfortable patio with views of the Red Rocks. FYI - at one point they had a food menu but that has been suspended due to staffing shortages. Make sure you call in advance to see if theyve resumed serving food (which looked delicious).
Great Coffee Shop! Too bad they like so many other businesses are having a hard time finding staff. Great place to stop for a solid cup of coffee, espresso or latte. Love the staff and leave a generous tip :)
I was in serious need of coffee, on our way to the grand canyon, and we hadnt had breakfast yet. Firecreek coffee gets 5 stars for both coffee and pastries. I had the cold brew and a white chocolate raspberry scone. Coffee was smooth and cold and the scone was better than s*x!
The coffee was great. The workers looked like zombies. It was a Sunday morning, and imnpretty sure only 1 of the 4 had showered before coming into work. Kinda stood there with dazed looks. Oh well. Read the first sentence again.
As good as their coffee and cookies are, Tracey one of the staff feels it’s appropriate to ask brown people repeatedly if they’ve paid for their meal every time she sees them around the coffee station. She asked my husband when his drink was called, she then asked me when I went to get my coffee. So if you’re not white and Tracey is working there, this might not be a place for you.
Great little cafe with a array of speciality drinks and regular brews in the hustle and bustle of down town. You will walk in as strangers, but leave with a feeling of acceptance and home. The quote of the day Only from the Heart can you touch the Sky - Rumi
This place is terrible. Its expensive, the staff is rude, and the food is lousy. The coffee was average, I suppose I should be more grateful for this.
Great baked goods! Also good espresso shots and a great oat milk latte.
Order a couple different items here and it went well. The cashier was new and had to ask a few questions about what each item was charged as. Had something made wrong but they comped me the drink for free and made the correct drink. Their baked goods were pretty good, except one chocolate muffin which was a little hard, almost stale. The staff were a accommodating and friendly. The prices were fair, for it being a unique coffee shop but it was bank breaking. Id come here for a quick coffees to go.
Pour over coffee was perfect. Good pastries and environment. I would suggest a few more breakfast options to complement the good variety of coffee and espresso options.
Been here many times and everything is awesome. Delicious coffee and lattes. Loose leaf tea steeped to order. And the breakfast sandwiches are a great deal, like 8 bucks for bacon, egg, and cheese (plus avocado) and a side salad! But they stop serving sandwiches after 11AM f.i.y. Just a perfect balanced healthy breakfast, love this place.
The perfect place for a pick-me-up in Sedona! As we were driving into town for week of hiking and enjoying the scenery in Sedona, we stumbled on Firecreek Coffee and had to stop in. Definitely happy we did! Their cold brew is easily some of the best Ive ever had! We also had to get some of their cookies and my macadamia nut cookie was perfect. The outdoor patio was nice to enjoy some fresh air and had umbrellas up so you wouldnt get too fried. After our first visit, we were coming back almost every day in the morning to get going, so that says something. Definitely dont pass up a stop at Firecreek Coffee if youre in Sedona!
This was probably the worst coffee I ever had. It tasted like sour milk was added. We ended up tossing them out. Also, the largest size they have would be a small anywhere else and its $6.
Outdoor seating! Delicious coffee! Friendly staff. My real estate teams go to place for our weekly meetings. Conveniently located in VOC.
Our little family was heading out of town on our long 10 hr drive back home to Texas when we saw this cute little coffee shop. What we didn’t know was it was closing and Instead of turning us away the nicest most personable barista took care of us . He proceeded to make us the most delicious coffee we have had in Arizona.
Mocha was surprisingly too sweet, I rarely say that about anything, but I couldnt finish it.
By Darren Chaker - Sedona is like a second home to me part of the year. Firecreek Coffee Company has always delivered some great coffee and a nice atmosphere to relax in while looking at the Red Rocks. Some very talented people work here who truly love what they do. If you ever need a coffee roasted to perfection, make it a point to stop here!
Cute coffee shop to hang out and get some work done.
Wonderful coffee and wonderful staff! Highly recommend!
This coffee shop was a miss for me, unfortunately. While the shop is cute and quite spacious, and theres a delicious-looking selection of baked goods, my latte left little to be desired.First of all, it was over $6 for an 8 oz latte. Granted, that was with an $0.75 tip, but I try to tip hard working baristas. Im willing to shell out some hard cash for fantastic coffee, but it better be just that - fantastic. And this was not even close. My latte was extremely bitter, and not in the bold, earthy, delicious elixir espresso bitter. More like an overrun shot bitter. That could definitely be a barista error rather than the flavor of beans, but who knows. I also paid an extra $0.50 for some of their homemade vanilla syrup, which I couldnt even taste. Definitely a waste to add on.The barista was prompt and the baked goods looked great (though we didnt try one) but I wouldnt return for a latte. Id maybe stop back to try the drip coffee or a breakfast sandwich, as other reviews seem to state that those are good.
I dont usually write reviews but this place was truly subpar. When I first walked in I could get the vibe that they didnt appreciate me interrupting their lunch break. I just ordered a regular coffee and they didnt even have heavy cream. I asked about the Wi-Fi password and he just rudely pointed to the sign on the counter.
BEHIND THE TIMES. Decent coffee, but the barista pushed a box of medical masks on me when I attempted to order. For one I have a medical condition that prevents my face being covered. Secondly, there is no emergency mandate in place in AZ for the past month. How is coffee shop telling me what to wear on my face until I get to my table, and assaulting me me with aggressive signage everywhere relating to my personal health choices? There goes the laid back atmosphere I look for in a coffee shop. Stick to making coffee, and we’ll worry about our health decisions.
Good atmosphere, at this point used to wearing a mask, or else Id make my own coffee.
Cashier was very rude, funny cause she was very polite to the people in front of me. Can only think this was cause the color of my skin. Haven’t had any issues here with that til now.
5 stars as I love Firecreek coffee, but how do you not offer a pour over option? The lady at the register didnt even know what a pour over was lol. This seems pretty basic in my opinion. But thanks for the good service and good coffee :)
They make very big and yummy cookies
Traveling around the country, using coffee shops as pit stops and wifi stations, I have tried countless mochas and breakfast sandwiches. This place is by far the best I had. The eggs in the breakfast sandwich are cooked perfectly, their specialty coffees are actually interesting (orange zest in a mocha yes plz). This place is a must stop if you love coffee
Ok place, almost no espresso in a 12 oz latte, way over priced $10 breakfast sandwich served on a cheeseburger bun.
Nice ambiance, sweet staff
Cozy cafe! Beautiful art lines the walls. The muffins melt in your mouth just ask for whatever is fresh! Excellent way to start the day here in Sedona!
Pretentious coffee place. Their pour over coffee was marked as “market price” like it is seafood. Not sure if it was a joke or not, but the cashier didn’t want to answer my questions about it or make it. They are better off leaving it off the menu.
Tho a frequent guest,I firmly believe in the OPINIONS of locals abroad, for they are not ONE TIMERS.My previous job taught an invaluable lesson.Placing tremendous value upon complete strangers single visit to any business, especially by travelers with a propensity to write negative reviews, HAS NO ACTUAL VALUE.Not only do I visit this shop 3 to 4 times a week, but the service is always personable, engaging, and quick with a smile.Coffee,I can get anywhere.Good lesson for the shops close neighbor, who has forgotten that.so its a good thing this coffee is actually really good, with daily, fresh baked goods, an extremely talented employee who plays the guitar & sings, and 2 cute/ funny girls.Say hi Rusky on weekends.
I enjoyed the cold brew, even though I dont usually care for espresso roast. I brought home a pound of the Campfire Blend, and Im thrilled. At home I roast my own coffee, so the bar is high.
Good medium-dark espresso, nice atmosphere and music, friendly service.
Beautiful coffee shop with great coffee and pastries.
This is for your coffee desire, place you want. Caffeine flow endlessly your smiles. Fresh baked every day muffins assortment, delectables.Patio of stone with blue sky outside.Upon entry, greeting nice girl home country. Borat long time friend. She make jewelry you want to see if asking nicely.
Brett is the best! Very knowledgeable and great energy and attitude! And the coffee is spot on! The Cold Brew is done to perfection. I will be back every visit to Sedona.**UPDATE** - so, I just made French press with the BOX CAR ESPRESSO, and I am pretty sure I just pulled off the best cup of coffee ever because of the amazingness of these hand roasted beans!
Good espressos. Authentic and carefully sources ingredients. Not much in the way of breakfast at the moment but understandable
You ever had a breakfast sandwhich so good you instantly 5 starred a place?
Ill start off with the good. The location is great and there is ample parking. The building itself is very nice with a good ambiance and with a fair amount of inside and outside seating. The worker was also good and easy friendly, but not overly so. Now onto the bad... I ordered an Iced Mocha and asked if it was possible to get it half as sweet as it normally would be. Usually, this means half the pumps of syrup or something along those lines. However, the worker said that it wasnt really possible to do so. So, I took the drink just as they make it. It was incredibly sweet and I couldnt even get a hint of coffee flavor in it. In addition to this, the entire cup was full of ice so that the 12oz cup was only filled with, at most, 4 oz of liquid. Extremely disappointed in the drink. I would go back again only to try a black cup of hot coffee before completely ruling this place out.
Good service. Great coffee. We would have loved to try the food but they were all out by the time we got there at 8:45. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Clean. I had a vanilla latte with almond milk 😋
Great food and coffee!
Good coffee good vibes
Quite good coffee..didnt stay around long enough to try other coffee shops, but you can tell that the beans were roasted well and recently (maybe even that morning?). Im not sure Id even bother trying the other coffee in town - its that good.
Excellent service and great coffee. Worth the amazing drive from Sedona. Plus the places in Sedona for coffee are a hot mess.
The coffee is ok but the pastries were completely stale. My wife and I bought coffee and breakfast at 7am, there is no excuse for stale pastries at 7am.
Delicious coffee! I had the cold brew and it was excellent
It was fine. I dont know, the bean I got for the espresso were nothing great. I think they lacked much flavor and had a slightly over-roasted taste. It may have been an iffy batch but it was less than stellar. Its a nice little shop but they could tighten up that cup a bit.
I dont know why I keep giving this place another chance. Time and time again Im disappointed every time I come in here. Phones have been disconnected for months, they have a big sign outside that says they serve food but when you order it they say we arent doing food today as if its just too much work for them to prepare food and theyd rather just make mundane coffee instead. I dont understand how a business can survive operating like this. Put a little pride into your business.
Cute coffee place, chill vibe. Baristas are friendly! The gals working know how to make a latte 🙌
The coffee is okay, not great or bad but pretty alright. We stopped here each morning for the three days we were in town. My friend got a vegan coffee cake the first morning and on the last day I got the same one.It would have been a good muffin had it not been moldy. I presume it was the same batch as the beginning of the week. I’m not a fan of being sold a old muffin as fresh. Let alone a minimum of three days old and moldy. No thanks. If you go, just get coffee.
What a sweet little coffee shop, and the coffee is fantastic. I had a decaf cappuccino and was blown away by the coffee depth and flavor. We had company recently who bought us some coffee from Firecreek and it was outstanding so we had to try the shop. The pastries and breakfast sandwiches looked yummy too..... We plan to go back!
You MUST GO for the croissant breakfast sandwich. I went back 3 days in a row for it (I only had 3 days in Sedona). Otherwise the breakfast menu is very small — 5 items including 2 variations on the sandwich, oatmeal, yogurt. The drip coffee was a little above average on the diner coffee spectrum, below average on the coffee roaster spectrum. They roast a natural Ethiopian, but there’s no way to order it in the shop — I would have loved a pour over. The service was amazingly slow the first day, but great the next two days (very staff-dependent).
A bit overpriced, patio was nice but COVERED in tiny biting ants!
The coffee was okay. They only offered very small sizes which I thought was strange. I I think the largest I could get was it 12 ounce or possibly an 8 oz. I dont recall exactly. But a 16 or 20 oz would have been good for my long drive. I do have to say the macaroon was excellent, and I would give a better rating except I thought the young lady behind the counter was very abrupt and not very friendly.
Great Chai tea Latte! It wasn’t too sweet. Andrew was super friendly. I’ll be back!
Cute shop with plenty of parking, outside seating, and beautiful interior decor. The menu is pretty scarce but the coffee had a wonderful flavor. The bathrooms could definitely use some attention - hence the 4 stars.
As a regular, I have always enjoyed the quality coffee & friendly service. In addition, their selection of baked goods & breakfast options is impressive! Good job guys!
Had their espresso at Pisa Lisa and it was good. Tried coffee at the cafe at Village of Oak Creek. Not good. They only offer pre-brewed drip. No pour over or French press or anything fresh brewed.
We were there yesterday for apick me up for the drive home. We both ordered decaf almond milk lattes. The very best I have had ever. Great service too.
Needs work.... Austere decor. Coffee is ok. Staff was friendly. The food menu is brief, but with options for folks with dietary restrictions. I had the oatmeal with berries and banana, it tasted fine however the portion was scant, 3/4 cup?, and the banana was obmitted. It cost $6, so I expected more.
Stop by on my way back down to phx today and got a cold brew. Nice lowkey lounge inside with good selection of driving is. Went with the cold brew and I was very impressed. Strong and perfect.
Im a regular here love the service that Ashlee provides. But after this morning seeing someone to appear to be in a manager position treat Ashlee and customers with such disrespect was unprofessional by the very least. Ill never come back to this coffee shop. Great coffee but poor management.
Stopped here on our way driving out of Sedona and had the best cappuccino we’ve had in three weeks of travelling in America! Also had the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve had which was made in house. Highly recommend this cafe and the staff were so friendly! Only wish I could get my coffee there every morning.
Says full coffee bar but unfortunately it’s limited.
Firecreek coffee shop and bakery is phenomenal. The caramel latte was delicious, the best latte I have had in Sedona. We also ordered the Copeland breakfast sandwich to split and it was amazing. It was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten, no joke. I can’t wait to travel through Sedona again to have another one, but not split this time so I can eat the whole sandwich myself :) My kids split the Main sandwich, I think, and they loved it too! I would highly recommend stopping into Firecreek Coffee every chance you get.
Really good coffee.... not frilly, keeping it simple. We had a mocha that was very smooth and a hot cocoa that tasted like melting marshmallows. Coming up from the valley, this place was warm and cozy stop after a really long hike.
Great breakfast sandwich that was served with a salad with a strawberry vinegarette and the mocha latte was delicious. I didn’t even know that I wanted a salad with breakfast but it was top notch.
I absolutely love this place! Their coffee is some of the very best I’ve ever had! Would recommend this place to anybody looking for a quality cup of coffee.
Firecreek Coffee rests on 179 in the southernpart of Sedona ( Village of Oak Creek ) only 6 miles to uptown. My advice if ordering food, step outside and sit on the patio while soaking in the scenery, planning your hike, trail run, or mtn. bike ride on the 138 trails that beckon. The coffee is proprietary and roasted in Flagstaff. There is a free cup of what you buy if bagged beans or ground, and the food menu is light and prepared daily.Ask the multi talented Jet to play you a quick song on his guitar before leaving and your visit will be complete.**PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS and wear a mask, untilwe ALL are safe enough not to.
Best coffee Ive had since arriving in Arizona. Also, enjoyed a tasty lemon muffin made (i believe) on premises.
Yummy local brew and super friendly service. Also let us bring our puppy in so that was great!
Wonderful, quaint coffee shop serving its own brand of micro roasted beans. The people here are super friendly. There are plenty of places to sit, indoor and out. The drip coffee and the cold brew are both excellent.
All organic milk (also offer non dairy organic milk). All syrups are handmade. The pastries are made in house. Overall an amazing coffee shop with an ever more amazing view!!!
Brewed coffee was pretty good. Has a nice patio in front with awesome views to relax. Also got a coconut peach muffin that my wife loved.
Coffee and ambience totally fine. My partner ordered a $6 oatmeal with berries and banana...it came in a kiddy cup with no bananas.. chia parfait, a breakfast menu item, came in a plastic cip.
Some of the best coffee in Sedona can be found here! Stunning views of Bell Rock. Very laid back and unassuming. Great fireside sitting spot for crisp days.
I tried the cold brew coffee. It was strong and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and gave us good advice on where to go for dinner.
Amazing Local Brew, Friendly Service, Great Place to Relax.
Probably the best espresso Ive been served in the U.S.A. This place takes its coffee seriously. Its not a cafe as such, in that it doesnt really serve food. They do have bagels, muffins, brownie, cookies at the counter. But no kitchen as such. This place is all about the coffee, baby!
The drip coffee is great, tasted like a fresh pour over. The baked goods are very satisfying. The staff were very kind and helpful to us tourist on understanding the area.
Beautiful coffee, above and beyond service. We had a pretty disappointing coffee experience at another shop, mentioned that fact to the barista when we came in for consolation cold brew, and he treated us to a brilliant experience to make up for it.
