I am a 66 year old woman who knows just enough to drive a car & put gas in it. This past Tuesday my car was making noise & stopping unexpectedly. I came in to Advance Auto Parts & an employee, a wonderful young man named Eric Coats, came out & checked my oil for me. There wasn’t even enough oil to put a drop on the dip stick. He helped me find the type of oil I needed & then talked me through poring the oil in. The employees are not allowed to do the work themselves for legal purposes, but it was an easy job for him to talk me through & he stood there to make sure I was doing it correctly. My car has run like a top since.It had been 2 years since my last oil change & a couple of days later, on his day off, he then helped me change my oil. I have only lived here for 2 years & do not know businesses around here & I always worry about being taken advantage of because I am a woman. The biggest compliment I can give Eric is that he treated me with respect & kindness, just as I would expect one of my sons to treat me.I hope Eric Coats rises up in the ranks with Advance Auto Parts as high as he wants to go and gets raises every time they are available to him. The company is lucky to have him.

I work with the most knowledgeable people at the Forks of the River store. We care about getting you what you need or want in a timely manner. I like to see people return and tell me how their job/project went or is going.

They try to be helpful but their employees just dont have enough knowledge

Went over for a couple days, car battery died out, had to get a jump, got the car over to advance auto. They came out saw what battery I needed and got me going. Thank all of you for helping me

Eric went above and beyond for us. We came in 30 minutes before close needing a new battery before we headed out for our two week road trip out west. He changed our battery and explained what all we should keep an eye out for. I always have a great experience everytime I come to Advanced Auto Parts!

There’s a fellow by the name of Lance it is a manager here. One of the finest guys I’ve ever met. He’s just genuinely good he’ll get his hands dirty to help you. He makes shopping for auto parts a good experience he’s got a good crew of people working for him. Just regular people doing a great job

Commercial accounts department is a joke I chose this place for convenience and ease of use to open a commercial account through my work twice now I have turned in tax exempt form and its still not logged in the computer which means two different people told me they would do their job properly and did not I guess Ill have to go somewhere else find a company that can hire competent employees

The old man Gene, is a walking Haynes Manual Straight up! I always look forward to coming into this store for his expertise and vast array of knowledge. The store has nothing but helpful and knowledgeable workers, but Gene; they need more like him. However I havent seen Gene is a few days and miss seeing him there. Guys like him are hard to find working at a counter.

It was an hour before closing when we went in had great customer service, battery check, change, and installation. Our attendant was super friendly and got us in and out.

Only rating this and writing this to let everyone know they had a fire in the store and it is closed.

My boyfriend and I came in from Chicago and the engine belt on my explorer snapped. We got the part and the tool with help from Wilfred. Now, my boyfriend is pretty good with cars, but when I have to help him it’s pretty much setting him up for failure. As I was holding the tool for him to get the belt on, he kept asking if I could move it more, creating less tension. I couldn’t. I’m weak. Then what do you know, as my hand is giving out Wilfred comes out, asks if he could help, and took the tool for me. Pushed it down waaaayyyy further than I could and in the end helped us fix the problem so much quicker. Even better, he’s probably one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of having an encounter with. Thank you Wilfred! You made our evening so much better.

Worst experience ever had going to an auto store!!!!husband went in to get new headlights. They looked it up in their system or so they say and when we went to put them.in the next day discovered they gave us the wrong thing. When we went back to the store they claimed to now be closed even though it says they are open for another hour. Refused to admit the mistake. The two employees locked the door and walked to their cars in front of me.

Helped me find everything

Got sold the wrong part (it doesn’t fit, it’s suppose to be a direct fit), treated like I was lying about the whole situation. (John), at this store treated me like I was lying or like I had done swapped a part, or something, the part has a limited lifetime warranty, At no point when I bought it was I told that a ignition coil isn’t returnable. I even asked at the other store.As well, as I bought the part 30 minutes from home, drove home, tried it on, didn’t fit. Too small. I’ve had the part for less than an hour.There’s no way to secure it, at all. Now I’m stuck with a part that won’t fit on my car, and to add insult to injury, was treated with rude, condescending attitude, and treated like i was lying.

Visited today looking for a K&N filter for my motorcycle. Was helped by Ronda who found the filter quickly and had it ordered in no time at all. She also worked some computer magic and got me a fantastic price. Thanks Ronda for making that extra effort to make sure I got the best price possible. Great Job!

I visited this location last week. I typically go to a location closer to my house but this was convenient. Will was so very helpful! He was professional and really went the extra mile to find my brake pads and answer my questions with patience. Thanks for a great experience!

CONVENIENTLY LOCATED IN TWO AREAS AND ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ON WHAT THEYRE SELLING AND VERY FRIENDLY

Im from Ohio and came down on vacation. My window switch quit working and they were so helpful with making sure I was able to get the part. The lady that helped me out was awesome and very knowledgeable. Thank you guys.

I have gone to this location twice and both times received excellent customer service.

I had to buy a tail light / blinker for my car. I knew what I was looking for and about where it was. I got it paid for it and then realized I didnt have the deep socket to replace it. I went in and they loaned me the socket so I could get it changed and be on my way. Yes Im a girl that can do car stuff. More than just lights. :)

Really had a good experience here. My battery died around severiville outlets and managed to get jumped off in order to get to an auto parts store. I opted for Advance Auto Parts. The lady who helped me was very nice. She was able to answer all my questions - so that we could agree on the best battery to purchase. I highly recommend this place.

Had just what we have been looking for at all the auto parts stores. Trailer locks and large cup holders. Convenient to get too on the parkway.

Im being generous giving two stars. I asked for gasket sealer,trans fluid and a gasket.the stoner looking kid at the register just stared through me as if he were in a daze.could not answer any questions I had. I stood at the check out trying to buy a funnel for twenty minutes.finally just walked out because I got tired of waiting and drove to dollar General and bought a funnel and the same transmission fluid at a third of their price and it took me less than five minutes. I dont see how the place stays open. Ive used advance forever and this visit was a huge disappointment.

Customer service was the best! I was from out of town and my truck broke down they done everyhing possible to help us we worked on it in the parking lot and they checked on us from time to time.

They were very nice. Lent me what I needed.

Danny went way beyond to help me with a problem I was having with my brakes. The parts I had bought from them called for the same make and model off my car, but wouldnt line up. He worked on it until he figured the problem out. I really appreciate him taking the time to help me.

All I needed was to use a fuse puller or pliars but they said nope have to purchase it prior. They wouldnt come out to even help me with my questions. I highly recommend AUTO ZONE!! Much better people and experience.

Good store stop in; decals add 5 hp hood scoop adds 50 HP EACE. Not part of the joke is the part about it being a good parts house

T wice now after using your app, the parts selected didnt fit the YEAR of the vehicle. I explained all this to the Manger, told him I wanted the same discount because the app selected the wrong parts and the online help never replied back. Its my fault!!

Bad😣. The manager of the store lied to me, telling me that she was the only one in the store, but I was waiting until the open time to starting to take care of customers, and she drove by me five minutes before that time and the doors was unlocked and lights were on before she got in. And then, when I went inside she told me that her testing machine wasnt able to tell me what was the code in the tester means because the machine only get a code and I have to take a picture with my cellphone and show it to the mechanic shop because they were the ONLY ONES who can tell me what was the problem with my car. If she connect the tester machine to the store computer it could tell us what the problem was, and let me decide if I could fix it cheaper out of the mechanic shop 🤔

I went in there to ask about some warranty work i had done to my vehicle, and all the guy said was ok cool about anything I had said. Told me there was nothing that they could do about.

You can generally find what you need, but dont expect the staff to be overly friendly.

Worst Advanced Auto Parts Ive every been to. I do all my business with advanced every where even if it is a farther drive. I stopped in on sunday afternoon and the lady inside was very disrespectful to me. I am 21 years old and she talked to me like I was completely stupid. I understand that she make think Im just a kid and dont know anything but my money is just as good as anyone elses, I expect to be treated that way. Also I was not greeted when I entered the store. Will not be returning to this location every again!
