Took my vehicle in the said I needed my front end rebuilt. They done the work, I picked up my vehicle and it wasn’t my front end, it was a hub assembly that was bad and said when I got the money they’d fix it!!!! Now my front end pops and squeaks and didn’t before. Over 3000 later and the problem wasn’t fixed! I had to rent a car to go to Ft Campbell to see my son off to Iran. Thx Midas for taking advantage of a single military mom! I called corporate and they would never call me back. I would never recommend them! I believe wholeheartedly I was done this way because I had to make a complaint on the previous manager for treating my young daughter poorly. It was almost 100 degrees out and she came in and sat in a chair and he said to her what you couldn’t wait outside on your mom?

It was close to closing time, but they took us in for a very vital repair. We were on vacation heading to Florida. Really helped us and were very professional and nice about it.

While waiting for my brake change I was able to learn a lot about the employee who was FaceTiming with his mistress the whole time. I got learn about each of their interest and hobbies. Why they wanted out of their relationships and how it was going to workout. The best part was how the employee did nothing but hide in the back corner away from the camera. Not a fun experience at all.

Comfortable atmosphere and the employees were kind and knowledgeable. Work performed on my vehicle was great, however I didnt receive what I paid for as far as a full inspection goes. They only checked SOME (some as in they checked maybe 5 things) I was concerned about, i still have unresolved issues with my vehicle that I now have to take more time and money to have someone look at THROUGHLY and completely. I expected that if I voiced my concerns to the employees about certain issues they would surely check them out, if not for MY PEACE OF MIND. I guess its my fault for having unrealistic expectations of people.

Midas took great care of my car. I had a tire blow out on me and they gave me a new set making me feel really safe. I got the old set about two years ago from a Walmart and have had nothing but problems out of them. Midas got me a safe set and a warranty for all! They even repaired the sensor that was almost destroyed from the blow out. I’m thankful, thank you Midas crew.

Nick was a very helpful dude even tho we went in for a simple oil change however we seen the filters and was beyond belief amongst other things great call Nick and your a great customer service dude and of course we knew our tires needed replaced therefore he made a phone call and tires were here in 15 minutes

My wife went to the Shelbyville Midas with a $19.99 regular oil change coupon. She came home with a $822.74 receipt that included a $99.99 Cooling system fluid exchange, a $99.99 Engine oil flush with chemical and protection, $89.99 Power steering fluid exchange with chemical, $59.99 Brake flush, $128.99 Thermostat Housing (not sure what that means), $193.99 Valve Cover Gasket ($20 discount) and a $42.99 Air filter: remove and replace....OBTW: the $19.99 oil change turned into $71.99 ($52.65 synthetic upgrade and labor of $19.34). So the Oil change charges were $7.36 for the Oil filter, Synthetic oil (5 qt) $41.45, Oil Disposal $1.84 and a premium charge of $2 (not sure what a $2 premium charge is. OBTW: we did get a FREE Tire Rotation. This occured on December 18th>>>one week before Christmas. Really sad that they didnt give me a jelly bean of the month subscription like they did in the movie Christmas Vacation......It took me two days to write this review. Rob, the store manager, had great customer service. Sometimes when dealing with vehicle service folks you don’t always get that. I was very satisfied and will be going back for sure.

Mixing oil weight is a standard practice here. While i disagree with the practices here I wont name anyone in particular however the district manager seems to be inexperienced in customer service and something as simple as invoicing. I am currently still waiting on that email.

We started having issues with our Honda Odyssey van on a Friday afternoon when we were 550 miles from home. The guys at this Midas were so kind and able to diagnose and fix the problem in under 2 hours. The pricing was right in line with our trusted mechanic from home. We are so grateful for their help to get us back on the road!

First off, props for being open till 5 on Sunday! We got there around 4:30 they stayed open well past 5 and had no problem with it. Very professional. Really appreciated them helping us out. Will definitely go back.

Great service

Had excellent service prior to todays visit. Went in today to see about getting a plug patch in a tire. Put my truck on the lift and walked away. Came back about fifteen minutes later finally sprayed it with soapy water and then walked away again. I then noticed all three techs working are now replacing a headlight on the same car, while the soap is drying up on my tire defeating the purpose of finding the leak. After no one had hands on my truck for 30 minutes, Im notifed that it needs a valve stem. So just short of an hour to even get info on what was wrong. I would have been ok with it if they would have stayed with my truck from start to finish instead of bouncing around from one project to another. And three people for a headlight? Idk about that.

The mechanics are friendly and they know their job well. Management is friendly and helpful. I think their prices are reasonable. Would recommend.

I had them in the past to attempt to put a muffler a very simple job on a Vermeer brush chipper . They actually took off my factory mount for the motor and cut it to use as a muffler bracket. Which was probably a two or $300 part that they used of mine and destroyed my unit. How stupid are they I would give them no stars if I could. I talk to the upper management In the past and he was just a stupid and unprofessional as the rest of them my advice to you is stay clear of these people all they want to do is smoke your wallet

My low tire pressure light came on in my car so I stopped to have it checked. The young man stopped what he was doing and came out to help me. I wish I could remember his name but I cant. He was delightful to talk with, esp when he found out I was new to the area. He corrected my issue promptly and had me on my way. He refused to take my tip. God Bless Him

My frail 74 yr old father took his Jeep Wrangler 4 door in to be looked at AFTER you all looked it over you told him that its going to cost $1,000 after parts and labor!!! He came over to my house and told me what you ALL told him!!I told my dad, to go get a second opinion, I told him Esters is a GREAT mechanic and I NEVER been ripped off by him or his shop. Told my dad he SHOULDNT of ever took it to your alls shop, cause 8 yrs ago I took my van there $400 dollars later when you all called me to say you all fixed it, picked it up it was worse than when I dropped it off, took it to another mechanic and another $400 dollars later fixed!Any last week my dad took his Jeep Wrangler to Esters he looked at it, SAME PART and LABOR you all told my dad would cost $1000 cost him today $275, Ester order the part last week, came in today!Please, if youre a senior citizen be careful to where you take your vehicle to, or if your a woman or a man that DOESNT know much about vehicles cause Midas WILL prey on your ignorance and try to make killing! Not caring if your a senior citizen and might be on a fixed income! Honestly I think they all seen a NICE Jeep Wrangler and thought heres a man with money, not thinking it could been brought for him!!People please BEWARE and stay away from this place!! Wouldnt be giving it one star but forced to give it one unfortunately!!

I took my truck to get my a/c look at. I told my a/c stop working after every winter for the last 3 years and get refill by them. This is the only month I have to extra money to get it fix. They said there maybe a small leak in the system. They said they couldnt see anything and there is a leak it was small and I just need to refill after ever year. So I told to recharge it, they did, after not driving it more then a hour the a/c stop working again. I took it back the same day only a few hours has pass and told thea/c stop working again. It took 3 of them to find the leak, it will take $400 to fix, I told I cant afford it. I ask for a refund on the recharge, they said no because I made the leak bigger by driving and because they couldnt see it the first time. Only way I will get a free recharge is get fix by them in two months. I never get back to them anymore

My Daughter needed new tires on the front of her car. Midas was helpful, I had called and talked to Rick, gave me price options and got us in as soon as we drove there.

Midas in Shelbyville Indiana did amazing job on my car! First time brought it in for an alignment they told me it was a bad tire not to waste money and pointed out where the tire was bad! Also got an oil change! They took no time at all and got the job done. Next time I brought the car in I had an issue with something that was cracking humming etc. They told me it was the alternator after everyone was telling me it was my lifters . The two gentleman at this Midas got the job done in just about an hour well worth taking your vechicle there. Very reasonable!!!! Thanks Rick and the rest of the Midas crew

Been here a few times with various vehicles and depending on who is working you could get a great deal or not so great, ha.Some employees really try to upsell you on repairs even if its not quite time to replace parts yet.Then other employees will say come back in 6 months for a follow up check up too see if you need repairs at that time. So can be hit or miss sometimes here.The work they do is guaranteed and they seem to always do very good work, so thats a big plus!Just beware of possible unnecessary up sells, which can happen at any auto repair shop. Overall a good place, good work, and average prices.

Had a flat on I74. Originally tried Walmart in Shelbyville. They had an hour wait and there was three workers basically doing nothing. We called Midas, told him our car make and model and he had the tire set aside and ready for us even before we got there. He replaced the new tire on our rim and had us on our way in less than 15 minutes. Great quick service, no sales pitch; just straight to the point.

They tried to sell me on brakes and rotors (I bought this car new less than a year ago and put less than 15,000 miles on it, it doesnt need rotors) during my oil change and tire rotation, then lost(or stole) the wheel key that can only be acquired from the manufacturer. Upon calling to locate my missing tool(without it I cant even change a flat tire) the manger was rude, put words in my mouth and would not make any effort towards solving my problem, that they caused. Now, itll be a week and a half until I can have a replacement key sent. Go here if you dont mind being bent over a barrel and getting screwed.

Had my Jeep oil change here. Staff was nice and the process was quick. They even informed me about a problem with a part on my Jeep and showed me what was wrong!

Liars and thives never will go to this store again tried to charge me 78.00 for something under warranty and lied and said they dont cover other stores work ..

Was in need of brakes and when i called the manager dan he was very inviting on the phone. after i chose to take my car to midas i felt very comfortable being there, they offered to show me my brakes up close and in person, we agreed on a price and i will say that my brakes are in great shape and i will be back in the future for all service needs

My brother was in this Midas today, July 13th, to have his A/C unit checked out and fixed. This is for his 2011 Ford Escape... He let them know that each year it has problems and needs recharged, so they said they would look into the issue. Long story short, they said they didnt find a leak, charged the unit and sent him on his way. Within an hour, the A/C again wasnt working, so he went back. They rechecked and now concluded the condenser had a hole in it and they quoted $400 to replace the unit and would redo the ac recharge for him for free. He couldnt afford it, so he asked for a refund on the job, since they wasted his money by charging a system with a hole in it. Anyone familiar with AC systems knows that you should properly Vacuum the system for an extended period of time, to be sure that the system will actual hold the pressure of the new refrigerant. Most shops will perform a vacuum test to see if it holds for a full hour, obviously Midas did not or they would have identified the problem. They proceed to blame him for the leak, saying it was because he drove it after the job was complete. ???????? Completely wasted my brothers money and now will not give him a refund for their lack of competence. What the gave him, was the opportunity to pay them $400 for a job he couldnt afford to do, before they wasted his $120 on a recharge. They agreed to recharge for free, but only if he has them do the work to replace the condenser.... I will do on his behalf for $200 and this will include the price of a new condenser, refrigerant, A/C Manifold gauges, and a vacuum.(condenser-$60, refrigerant-$20, gauges-$60, vacuum $60). Unbelievable that they are not willing to take responsibility for their lack of thorough work.

Horrible spent nearly 5000.00 in that shop. 90% of work i had done had to go back to shop numerous times....out dated equipment.....inexperience mechanics.....never take back there again......staff is friendly, but apologize get old.....doesnt correct the problems ......truck owners beware, not a place to have diesel or truck work done....anything for that matter unless you dont mind making several trips back there just not to have it done properly and still end up repairing yourself........

Oil sprayed all over car and drained in the street. They told me to bring my car back in. I made them come to my house. They showed up without a Jack or tools and thought they were going to use mine.

This place is the worst place ever. Like they checked my car and everything but everything they said was wrong. Like wrong . Never take your car there. Never never.
