A great place to shop for your Ethiopian Food.
I buy Ethiopian tea here. Its a mix of clove, cardoman and cinnamon. Its delicious. On this occasion, I also got take out. I had the vegetarian combo. It had generous portions of at least 5 veggies and came with 3 pieces of ingera (sp?), or Ethiopian bread. The food was only $8, I believe, and it was delicious.
Fast great service. Better stocked then most Ethiopian markets in the DMV area. 👍🏻
Worst customer service I have ever received. I paid full advance payment for Easter holiday lamb ordered two weeks ago and called couples of hours before I drove down to the store on the appointment day to confirm my order is ready for pic up. Customer service personel confirmed me its ready for pick up but on my arrival they told me if I can come back tomorrow or to take my money back......What a disappointment .....told me they sold my order for another customer for more money. They have no respect to their own loyal customer ....very disorganized....they dont keep the customer order record list properly, no tracking and poor service. Need to improve a lot to give honest service to the community
Great place to shop and enjoy fresh enjera and others items
Great choices of local and Ethiopian authentic foods and products at best price in DC metropolitan areas.
Tibs for your memoir, injera for your soul
This store have unprofessional stuff poor customer service and rude guy working a the cashier (young skinny) when I call to check if they have teff the person who picked phone told me as they have what Im looking for but he was not willing tell me the price, this the frist store in this USA that declined to tell me the price of good they sell while he knows it.
Super nice Ethiopian market provides reasonable price and amazing customer service.
Amazing Ethiopian cultural store with injera and many other things that Ethiopians or other people need! Its basically a store that mostly caters to Ethiopian people but also many other! Recommend it if you want a little cultural flavor added to your life!
Excellent place for the Habesha experience. Prices are high but probably worth it.
Great food and great products and good people
Love this place it gives me everything I miss from being away from home.
Adarash is a market and carryout for Ethiopian authentic food, grocery and cultural stuff. If you give a visit for grocery, you are in one of the largest Habesha stores around Silver Spring. If you order food by phone, you will be happy with the freshness, high quality, large quantity and lower price. I love Adarsh. Please keep your cheifs and your marketing philosophy.
Good price and quality
You get Ethiopian authentic foods including but not limited to Enjera, fresh beef home made spices and different national goods; limited parking lots.
I was going to make this my go to Ethiopian store, but the beef quality is disappointing. They do have a good selection of items, but quality over quantity anytime. Customer service is good.
I do not like this place.
Poor customer service .
I visit this store, only for the famous Indian samusas, or sambusas for the African people.
Please do yourself a favor by not buying beef from this grocery! The quality of their beef used to be fair until recently! I recently discarded 3 lbs of beef as it tasted awful! The quality of their injera has changed for the worst as well! What I don’t want to deny is the fact that this place was one of my favorite places especially in terms of price. Their price was the most reasonable among all Ethiopian groceries in this area but no more given the poor quality!
Very nice place but its in Southeast DC
Fair price, good products and nice service
The best calling card ever.
This place they messed up my food three timesI’m not gonna 2 come in this place again
This is one of the best Ethiopian grocery store. Very organized. Generous. And whatever selling is fresh on a particular, whether it be Injera or Bread... if it is couple hours old, they will let you know not buy it. Truly good business people. Check out.
Price is fair but quality and hygiene of the food is very poor.
Good prices
Very poor customer service, two butchers were eating lunch when there was a heavy line, we asked if there is any manager there was none and other employees were begging the butchers to work, but they were showing attitude and kept eating then my wife left and promised not to go there again. The manger/owner should tell them that customers are paying their bill
Reasonable price, quality food items but slow customer service.
Yes, the same thing happening on me too last week I bought food and the taste was horrible, not good I talk to cashiers and they don’t know how to take care customers, yesterday I bought Injera and after we ate it was very uncomfortable then we trashed it. please about to eat from this place, they don’t have good products no more and don’t customers value
Its the most important market for the Abesha community. I have been a customer since the beginning and I am satisfied with the service of Adarash market. Please keep up your good work! Thanks for the Great stuff and service that you have rendered so far.
We get the vegetarian platter all the time. Delicious, variety, inexpensive. The people there always friendly. Love this neighborhood place!
Adarash market they got the best Ethiopian markets in the silver spring area and reasonable price .
They need more knowledge about how American businesses systems work.
Store full of every possible commodity a shopper can find. And they open 8-10. Friendly and helpful staff. It definitely is my favorite place!!!!!
This stories awesome if you need Habesha Food anything you need you must go to this store they have everything whatever you need.
One of my favorite place to shop and eat.
The guy work in the cash register take the order time u get there no order after 30 min then he keep lie.... But I appreciated the owner of the store he give the value of his customers
Good place to pick up Ethiopian spices and fresh enjera!
One of the best market in silver spring! Great price and nice service from nice people. Happy and lucky to have this store close to my house.P.s.Wende nice customer services! Thx dear.
Clean and very reasonable - very helpful owner. I bought some berbere and injera
One of the best Ethiopian store..they have all kind Ethiopian iteam and the price is unbelievable. Am happy 😀
Awesome
Ethiopian store, with lots of Ethiopia produce and freshly baked injera. Competitive price
I came from work exhausted. They run out of injera and I asked the cashier how long it will take. He said 10mins. Instead I had to wait more than 30 minutes. He didnt even apologize. Why lie? I couldve went somewhere else. Very unprofessional!!!
😑 deserve 5 stars but the cashiers acts like they are giving you for free and shows 😑 this face
Dont buy any Shero, Berbera.
One of my friend recommended this store. I drove an hour and get the “Key Teff duket” for chechebsa. Once I tasted Ho my God what can say? it’s like I am eating a sand/”Ashewa” I couldn’t trust my self for Judgment or Negative comment. I had to wait until my husband gets home and say something.....he tested he was like “what is this sweetie?”🙊 I said it’s chechebsa he was like “No Ashewa bicha new” he did not even swallow🙆🏻♀️.I said Thank you I thought it’s me and I started telling him the story of the “key Teff duket from Addarash Market”! my people be careful when you go to store and get something that look healthy but NOT! To the management of Adderash market please provide quality product if you concern about your busines and the public health.if not FDA will take care of it.
This is my favourite in terms of cost and closer to.me, I am visiting this place almost every single day
The take out Ethiopian food here is excellent but very spicy. We get the vegetarian combo frequently. You can ask for less injera, more entree when ordering take out. They sell many staples of Ethiopian cooking including teff, berbere and nigella seed, along with several types of injera. Come early if you want fresh injera - they sell out. They also sell frozen injera.
This market is also a restaurant serving hot Ethiopian take-out food in large quantities at very good prices!
Great Ethiopian food. Inexpensive, especially the vegetarian combination (which will feed 2).
Amazing spot.
Excellent service but not the best place to order food.
I bought Ingera and Kitfo yesterday because i had a gust for dinner. Oh, my God the Kitfo he sold for me i have no explanation it was so disgusting, several white stuff, several KINTIBTABY put togrther and grinded. Unbelivable, how people loose their trust just to make some money. I have the picture for it but i dont know how to show it.So please, if you are not making money from the existing price, raise your price and sell good stuff. Otherwise, you loose your business and especially in this internet era it is a question of a second to do a lot of a damage. Be honest, dont think you are always smart, serve the people.
Ykort sega btam yekoy ymeshebt new
It was very good place to buy Ethiopian cultural foods specially Injera, but recently they change the mixture to bake the injera and after we eat feel very uncomfortable, try to tell them what is going on but dont want to listen customer feedback. On the top of that today I feel sick and went to clinic and they said food poison. Really ridiculous avoid this place dont buy Injera and food there it is not right ingredient they use and it is not clean no more.
Great place to shop and dine - if you are looking for Ethiopian yum 👈
I get every Ethiopian food items thats fresh.
Fresh hambasha & injera...unique housewares...courteous staff (and customers)! Parking is a bit of a mess, so I always choose to walk.
Very nice services there
You find any thing you want at a reasonable prices
A great place to find Ethiopian food and spices.
Friendly customer service & great place to find Habesha product...
So good as usual.
I ordered awaze tibis they gave me lega tibis with awaze on the side who does that. On top of it I specified no tomato and they still added tomato I had to trash the entire order. This was the first time I tried their food and they cant even follow a simple order. :((Customer service has gone down completelyThey sell injera and this is the most difficult place to find injera because theyre always out of stock. 95% of the time there is no injera available. Its annoying and absolutely waste of time to stop by. Adios Ill never come bck.
Everything reasonable price and nice customer service
Freshly made enjera always
Horrible customer service!!! Rude cashier! I ordered my food on the phone and I told him not to add onions Instead they put big and lots of onions then I called the store to complain and he was rude to me! Didnt even apologize he told he it isnt his job to make sure whether my food has onions or not.
I love their abundant different kinds of Ethiopian stuffs
I had a very bad experience, they have a very poor customer service I ever seen in my life
