While the quality of the meat is great, they always (I mean always) charge for more pounds than they actually give you! Is it even legal? This happens all the time! Please see picture attached. I have a baby scale at home which is accurate. Whenever I come home and measure the amount it’s always about a pound less that in actually pay for. It’s mind boggling. You’re better off going to Wholefoods or other honest places and paying a little extra per pound if you have to. Honesty and transparency is the first and most important responsibility to your customers.
Good quality meat, good prices. Alot of spices.
They are over price in everything in their store, I price match so many thing with other Indian store they are cheaper then Indus. I dont know for how long they been doing this with customers. I start noticing when I bought rice bag from them with price tag $10.99, and when they ring me its come up to $14:99, when I mentioned the price printed on the bag he just said oh ok and then charged me $10:99, but if someone doesnt pay attention they will keep on doing this intentionally, so I stop going their and its bad business practice 👎👎
It’s great soper market they have arabic food and pakistani Indian food I ‘m really like it It’s five start right now 👍🏻👍🏻
Instead of taking responsibility, Indus repeatedly defends its terrible service for the majority of their negative google reviews ... my case also invited their typical response:Indus sell you rice with bugs in it, and when you call (screenshot attached) asking if they will give an exchange or refund despite not having a receipt, the man says yes multiple times (even mentioning the brand i wanted was out of stock but i could get another kind) ... only to drive to the store and be told i have to accept the bug infested rice ... and even that without any apology; then insinuate i ate half the (bug-infested) bag before trying to return itIf you call TWO hours in advance for meat - and they say you’re meat will be ready in 30 minutes - they won’t start the order until you step foot in the store and again ask ... forcing you to wait another 30 minutes; this happened BEFORE COVID - so not a short-staffing issue as the owner allegesits rich that the owner suggests the customer should approach the staff in the store to solve their problem ... if you were rude when i told you about the rice, why would you be polite about the meat? in fact, when i told your butchers about the meat, they literally expressed ZERO concern and ignored me.Your management is just terrible
This little place has a terrific variety of spices and specialty items. Looking forward to pakistani mangos next month.
We placed and paid for an order for Qurbani well over two weeks before Eid. At the time we were told that we would have received it the day of Eid. Eid arrives, we don’t hear a word from them. I assume that they just didn’t call because they never do all the times we’ve placed orders. We go all the way to the store the day of Eid and were told our order hasn’t arrived, but the delivery man should be coming within the next 35 minutes. As we waited, we notice that only certain people were receiving their orders, brothers who shared the same dialect as the store owners or looked like them for the most part. After waiting over an hour they told us to just come back later due to the delivery being late. We left a phone number to call us back and instructions on how we wanted the meat cut for when the delivery comes in. Luckily we didn’t wait around for them because we never received a phone call. Even after three days nobody bothered to communicate with us. We finally return to see if it came in. Man goes in the back and brings out a whole lamb, uncut and asks us to wait again. After speaking with the manager all we got was an excuse about COVID Delaying things. If that was the case, then a simple courtesy phone call would have diffused everything and we would have been more understanding. Peoples time is important and it’s not right to treat them like that because you already received their money. Very disappointed because the meat quality is good, but the customer interaction when it comes to certain groups of people needs a lot of work.
Everything is available of dasi foods. Good store
Good service on time respectfull
Very good place for shopping people very helpful
My husband bought okra from this store and when he bring it home, believe me not even single okra was good each and everyOkra had fungus or turned black, I wish I can upload picture, I can’t believe they put that rotten vegetables on shelf to sell and make money out of it, and when you take that back they gonna say we don’t take produce back, that’s it I am not going back to this store ever 👎🏻👎🏻
Great place for fresh meat and spices
Great service. Very organized. Ethnic food from around the world. Very courteous.
The quality of the meat is good. However, the employees communicate ineffectively with the costumers. They dont listen thoroughly - neither over the phone nor in person - and then pretend they have misunderstood the conversation. The management could do a better job by helping them to enhance their communication skills.
Best source of pita bread in the area
Yo great place for indian grocery.
I love Indus foods. Have been shopping here for years. Tons of really awesome spices, teas, and ingredients to create amazing meals.
A small grocery store with great finds of middle Eastern authentic food. For those who love middle Eastern food with excellent prices its a must!
First time there. Neat. Fresh meat section great. A lot of variety of cooking ingredients. Aisles a little tight though. Will visit again.
One of the best places to buy fresh meat. Great staff and nice people to deal with.
Excellent place for Indian and Pakistani items
What a scam, I bought cilantro and they put rotten bunch of cilantro in between wrapped with fresh leaves. What a scam...
My go to for years, great variety, cheaper than supermarkets when they carry any Indian specialty items.
They have most of the staples of the subcontinent, some South Indian specialties are missing. The meat is great, overall its a great desi grocery store.
Extremely unprofessional. Had to wait more than 45 min to get the ordered meat. They did not even care to inform the time commitment during the order. Also, its quite frustrating to see them fulfilling orders of probably greater value, which were placed after mine. Horrible service!
I’ve bought my food here since they opened over 20 years ago. They continue to excel
First time shopping at this store. Everyone was nice, courtesy and helpful. I purchased Jasmine rice in the big bag. Very reasonable. Will be shopping at this store again. Its handicap accessible and you can see the store from the street.
Grocery store and a Halal meat market located on New Hampshire Ave. This place has been there for 20 years and it has grown from being a small shop to a mini supermarket. From spices to meat to cooking utensil, Indus Foods has it all. Plenty of parking space available in the strip mall in which it is located. Some of the items are slightly overpriced but the convenience of the location mitigates the high prices. My opinion is that the rent paid by the business is the reason behind its slightly high prices.
Great offerring of spices, and their meat are on point (we got some goat).
Nice place
You can get all sorts of Pakistani and Indian groceries as well as some other ethnic foods. They have good halal meats. The service is friendly and efficient.
People are very nice, always they will respect to the customers. Prices also very flexible and they will always give fresh meat. Keep it up bhai.
A horrible experience to visit this Asian grocery store.....They over priced things and there services, we bought 5lbs yougart and they charged us $5.99I knew there was something wrong.....I bought the same yougart from an other store and the price was $3.99This was the one item, I noticed..... God know how much over priced the other items..... I decided not to go there ever and advise other to watch there prices. For an evidence, I am adding the photo of receipts.....
Its nice halal place with all desi grocery and fresh meat. Can be better organized.

Superb store.most of the items are available and favourable open hours.
Its a bit small and looks like any other ethnic grocery store, but the selection really is diverse. Their meat/chicken is great and I would say that they have a friendly staff.
Friendly, helpful, clean, and large variety. Will be a repeat customer for sure.
Store is great and you can find everything what you want. but only thing that i found out is the store is mall. and they put a lot of shelf.
Very friendly service. Quality of meat and other grocery is above average.

This is a great place for indian and pakistani grocery.
Love getting my beef and chicken from this store.
Good place for halal meats and indo-pak groceries
Go there for Halal meats very heful eople in there
A big thug sitting in our neighborhood selling expired food items. This store has policy to not return anything once it solds out, these thugs ruining the name of the whole Pakistani community. Even sometimes they charge more than you buy and when you get them they start making excuses that it was computer fault. These thugs should be boycotted.
Best place buy halal meat
Great place for desi and HALAL groceryBig blessing for Pakistani communitystaff are friendlyPrices are goodProducts are freshHighly recommend5 stars
It is good that they expanded the store, but the smell of rotten meat as soon as you enter the front door is not so good. The quality of the meat is questionable, and the customer service is horrendous. The employees are not very helpful and even somewhat rude at times. They do carry a number of desi groceries that may be of interest.
Good hilsa stock, mutton was impressive as well.
U can find pretty much every desi foods and beverages.
Smells like meat and stuff is way over priced
