I went to Verizon to get a quote, as I was looking to switch carriers. It turned out that they were nearly DOUBLE my current rate for a similar unlimited plan and identical phones.The store itself was very clean, and other than some printer problems, things seemed to be operating well. I found it a bit strange that they had a guard posted near the entrance. Im not sure what kind of trouble theyve had in the past, but it seemed excessive.

This is the second time I was told I couldnt hold a phone by a rep named Chris in the name of safety/distance. I watched and took pictures as other customers came in and looked at phones and Chris said nothing. The manager who is also named Chris, for some reason took his employees stance on safety, all while ignoring my point, others were walking around looking at phones. First I respect safety, my point is why was the rule different for me ? The manager said lets talk to the employee...no that would be your job not mine. I just wanted to see the size of the phones in person before ordering online. Absolute worse customer experience of my life, the manager actually tried making me look like I had the problem, not apologetic at all. Do better Verizon.

By far the worst Verizon store I’ve ever been to. It took a while to get to us which is fine as it was a launch weekend. We wanted to get three iPhone 13 Pros and update our plan accordingly. I am not 100% certain of the reps name so I won’t call him out but he looked for an excuse to get rid of us every step of the way starting with telling us we weren’t upgrade eligible, despite only owing $50 outstanding on the phones that we were prepared to pay off, then then tried to dissuade us by saying the plan would go up $100 a month. We left this useless place and went home. We paid off our handsets online, changed our plan ourselves (saving $50 a month instead of up $100), and ordered our phones from Apple for next day pickup instead of a two week wait. Handle your Verizon stuff online and shop direct from manufacturer, a laptop is more help than anything you will receive here.

Horrible customer service.Needed a new phone asap. Went to this store and was told I needed an appointment. He was not helping anyone at the time but stated he had an appointment coming shortly. I asked if I needed to pay off an existing phone to purchase a new one under payment plan. He said I needed to call them directly to pay it off before he could sell me a new phone. He made me an appointment for the next available which was the following day.Waited outside for a friend for 20 minutes. I guess that appointment was a no show.Called Verizon Corporate. Though they said there isnt much they can do, they filed a complaint and miraculously scheduled me an appointment for that same day.Prior to my new appointment, I went to Best Buy. I bought the Android S21 and they gave me a 350 dollar credit as well as discounts for case and screen. Best if all, they were able to process payment for the balance owed on my old phone.Seems this location promotes rigid rules that are not a favorable result for good customer service. Go to Best Buy.

Terrible customer service at this store and at a corporate level. I’ve had an unresolved problem for 7 months now with my plan that a different Verizon retail store created. There is never follow up from Verizon customer service on a resolution. The issue is only worked on when I call Verizon. I tried to go into the store to do a quick check and see if things were fixed with my account. Without taking any information from me or looking up my account Chris informed me they can’t help me with my account and that I needed to call customer service. I went outside to make the call and as I sat on hold he and a coworker came outside to shoot the breeze. There were other employees working as well who were not busy. I’ve been a Verizon customer for 2 decades and can safely say, stay away from this company and stay away from this store. They are lazy and not interested in helping here.

Thompson, General Mgr was unprofessionally rude to me today. $750 iPhone purchase 24 days ago was defective (touch screen malfunction). Went out of town to funeral, then in quarantine from being exposed to Covid-19. I finally got an appt at the store. Customers were inside store, but I was made to wait outside in heat for 40 min. Patty would not explain why I (am disabled) was made to wait outside. Somehow my appt. -- made over the phone disappeared. Patty approached me as I were lying, was condescending towards me and generally refused to resolve my issue. In my opinion she has no business being in a position of authority. My dealings with her have made me want to take my three accounts from Verizon. I plan to file a Small Claims case for the phone and perhaps any fees for service I am responsible for. These are hard times and being kind and professional is even more pertinent now. : )

Switched to Verizon from T-Mobile, had some lingering issues after the switch. The most the store was willing to do for me was tell me to call tech support. Didnt offer to look at the issues or troubleshoot in any way. Literally zero effort to help a new customer. Thanks Verizon.

Make sure you go to a Verizon Corporate store like this one! They are helpful within the draconian bounds of what Verizon will allow and moderately knowledgeable. Dont go to a reseller store (my experience with anything OTHER than a corporate store has been terrible).

I walked into this store on December 26,2014 to purchase a new iPhone 5c with a 2-year upgrade that I had. As I walked in the store, I was quickly greeted my a manager and I was pleased with the fast communication. I told him what I was there for, so he added my name to the list to serve and told me the wait would be about 5-10 minutes, which is not a long wait at all.After about 40 minutes and 5 questions asked about when it would be my turn, it finally came around. a different associate assisted me and asked what I needed. As soon as I told her, she went to check the merchandise for the color iPhone that I wanted..... NOT IN STOCK!Please Please Please, if you go here, make sure to ask them if they have what you need in stock that way you dont waste time like I did.I was so disappointed I just walked right across and behind to the Apple Store and was in and out in less than 20 minutes, including transferring contacts and updates and more.I do not recommend anyone to go to this store.If youre looking for an iPhone, just go to the Apple Store.

I have to say I am sad to hear the negative reviews for this store. I personally have had great service here. Admittedly I havent been into a verizon store in years until almost 2 months ago. I went in with a problem which was quickly resolved by Drew the manager on duty. He was very helpful! I happen to have a new phone so I have many questions. I have been into the store at least once a week asking question and have been provided with the best possible service! The staff is fantastic and your manager is here is incredibly friendly and helpful. As long as they have such a great staff I will not take my business anywhere else! Thank you all for taking such good care of me!

Came here today because I dropped my phone in water and shorted it out. I still owe money on it so Im not due for an upgrade, so I just wanted to reactivate my old iPhone 3. Went to another store in Simi Valley they couldnt help...something to do with no longer making the sim card for iPhone 3 or something. So, I tried the Simi Town Center store. Very busy so I was preparing to wait a while, but someone approached me right away. Briefly explained my situation to Marcus and he immediately said You really only need the sim card for international calls. Let me get this activated. Marcus was GREAT. He was helpful, quick, knowledgeable, and efficient. Got out of there in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES!! Very happy with my store experience, and very pleased with the customer service I received from Marcus. I desperately needed a new phone but the upgrade on my phone line indicated I wasnt due. That was an error. Carmen and Hector immediately resolved my issue and helped me get a new phone! Not very happy with Verizon!!We transferred from Sprint to Verizon and took our phones with us and we were told that because we switched to Verizon and are porting our numbers we can each get a rebate, which we should get by June 19 th. We got the rebate paperwork and turned it in, April 30 th, I called them yesterday and they told me it would take up to 10 weeks to get the rebate.I got an email today saying there was a problem processing our rebates. So I contacted Verizon, they said because we brought our phone with us and are paying for it monthly we dont get the rebate!!So Verizon lied to us!! very, very unhappy with Verizon!!!

They would not let him do a line even though he brought his phone phone, they wanted credit and a social and this poor guy has nothing. Im sick and tired of being questioned why Im buy something. They need to shut up and just take my money. 2 months ago I went and got a charger and the guy asked why I needed a charge and then a month later I was upgrading my dads phone. He doesnt understand technology at all and he needs big buttons. And when I was getting him a basic phone with big buttons Mr. Questions comes and ask me to why I want this phone only because he was having trouble upgrading it. Truly I dont think he knows what he is doing. My family has had Verizon for 18years and have never been treated with the respect and loyalty we deserve. I have so many stories that are worth one star reviews. I dont know why my family continues to have their phones.

They allowed my 16 YEAR OLD son to upgrade to a $1,250 iphone X on contract as a MINOR and WITHOUT being an authorized user on our account. Theyre response to me was we dont age discriminate????I dont know who is teaching your management staff.. but a contract is not legally binding if under the age of 18.My company was an account of Verizon for over 10 years. We just switched to T-mobile. They payed off our phones to switch and doubled our 4G data with unlimited 3G + Free Netflix.

I came in with my 85 yr old mom to transfer her old flip phone to a iPhone 6 my brother had his carrier was ATT.they told me I couldn’t do it because Verizon simm card won’t work on this phone due to the carrier was AT&T even tho AT&T’ unlocked the phone and it was now open and clear for Verizon to connect it to my account Drew then processed to try and sell me a phone I didn’t want to buy a phone I had a free one I wanted to turn on for my mom every time we said no thanks he would okay hold on let’s see what I can do then wanted to msell me a cheap phone that’ wasn’t a IPhone I said no no no and he kept up trying to convince us to buy a phone.. I walked out and went to Verizon in Westlake and within 15 min my mom’s flip phone was connected to my brothers iPhone.. I was taken advantage of we were older women and a target to just sell us a phone! I would recommend never step foot in this store totally disregard for me and my 85 yr old mom!!

Went into the store to fix a problem with my wifes phone. The greeter took my information, and in about a minute I was working with Chris (one of two Chrises in the store then). He listened carefully, then started checking out the phone. The problem was that, when dialed but not answered, Verizon would tell the caller that the connection was not available instead of going to voice mail. This was a difficult issue to remedy, but remedy it he did. The entire staff were professional and polite. Chris did make me aware of a promotion in which I was not interested, but then, sales is his job, isnt it? Kinda like the Geico commercials--Its what they do.Lighten up folks. And, to be fair, Ive always had four or five star service every single time with Verizon. AT&T and Time-Warner? Why do you think Im with Verizon???

After calling and receiving confirmation from two different representatives that a T-Mobile iPhone 7+ could be used on the Verizon network if I had a Verizon sim card and an activated iPhone, I bought an iPhone 7+ from a third party to save money. I then go to the Verizon store to set up my phone and they proceed to tell me I cant use a T-Mobile iPhone 7+ on Verizon. Thanks for wasting my time and money

Had a phone set for pick up for my daughter. Because I wasnt present they would not let her have it and who over waited on her was very rude...she said it was a male. Had to cancel the order, which verizon didnt end up doing correctly. Called the store and they said it would fizzle out eventually?! What? And I explained the rudeness and was hung up on. Id say this store really needs to work on their customer service. Now trying to pick up a new phone and it doesnt just fizzle out! Im still trying to cancel this order and Ive been on the phone 20 minutes! Now Verizon is telling me that simi valley wont release our upgrade that it will take 7 days?! I have been to this store for several transactions and have always been satisfied with the service. For example, I was there this week to get a SIMM card for a new IPad that another retailer had shipped to me with the wrong SIMM card installed. This Verizon store took care of the issue with no hassle even though I did not buy the device from them. I knocked off 1 star only because there is typically a wait to get service so they could use more staff in the store, but otherwise I have always had a good experience. Typically much better that franchise Verizon stores that I have visited that are closer to me.

Buyer beware when purchasing a phone from Verizons Simi Valley. I went in to purchase a new I-phone. The sales person stated that I could get a free mini pad with the purchase of my phone. I wasnt really interested or needed the I-pad, but since she stated it was free I thought maybe my daughter could use it. A month later when I received my Bill, they added an additional phone line and put me into a 2 year contract on that Mini-pad. I called Verizons and spoke to the Manager about the shady business practices. I have been paying on a device to this date No one in my family has used. They have lost as a customer!

Worst customer service ever. They dont know anything about their stock on hand. They will take your money and write up the order then tell you they just ran out of the phone you want. Most of the staff is under 21 years of age and couldnt be bothered with courtesy, accuracy of product knowledge or current plans or on the tuff questions like can I use the rebate on a certain phone as a down on the cost of the new phone. They are all commision sales people and are motivated solely by greed, and lieing to you about discounts so they can bump up their commissions. No matter who you talk to there you will get a different answer. Manager is also young and does nothing but stand around shooting the breeze with fellow employees, and when you want to talk to him he is suddenly gone or not in. Horrible place. Try someplace else until they fire everyone in the place and replace them with competent caring people with brains and honesty.

Wow. Ive never been treated so disgustingly rude by a sales associate in my 40 years ! The Reps name was RYAN - and as the others have said here, he was ONLY concerned with selling me a bunch of accesories and other crap and not at all helpful with the upgrade issue I was there for. With no exaggeration, I told him at least 8 to 10 times that I was not interested in the extras he was trying to pimp. IN the end I had to call him on it, - what part of NO I DONT WANT IT are you not understanding? He was not apologetic whatsoever, had a disgustingly rude demeanor and then kept me waiting another 15 minutes for this rude manager that never appeared. I was beyond shocked! How is this hole still in business ? Meanwhile another Veri-Rude-Zon Rep tried to tell me that the reason the guy is so high pressure is because We get sick of these customers that come in and tell us. - I stopped listening. YOU GET SICK OF CUSTOMERS..?? You mean the ones that pay your payroll ?? UNREAL. I left and got my needs met elsewhere. Good luck little boys with filthy bad attitudes. On top of it, they changed my plan and then assured me the change didnt go through because I hadnt signed anything. Dont ever go in this store, they are rude and unhelpful, I had a phone that had issues due to a update over their network, one of their reps was condescending just quoting rules and regulations, another rep was extremely helpful but to the point where it was like his hands were simply tied and couldnt do anything, i ended up calling customer service line where they helped me and ended up replacing the phone.
