I called about a belt. It was available at their Pleasantburg store. Said he could transfer it there within 1.5 hours. I called 2 hours later and then was told that the delivery or transfer service wasn’t available until the next day. Glad that my equipment was broken down on side of road thinking I could get it fixed but could not due to poor communication and information.
Came in for a battery issue today. Andy was able to quickly check our battery and alternator. He was honest, friendly and did not attempt to sell us anything we didn’t need. Definitely earned our business.

Had everything I needed, no crowd so visit was quick and easy. This time I knew, what I was looking for, so I didnt need assistance from staff.Missing one star just because the entry/exit to the parking lot is easy to miss and Woodruff road is not forgiving for anyone who misses a turn.

I stopped by to pick up parts for a1994 Ford so they didnt have them in stock but later that afternoon boom wah all parts were correct and fit

My headlight went out and I came to this store on a Saturday night. Not only did the employees (my receipt says Carlos) help me find the right bulb, but they also replaced it for me. I’m so thankful that there are still good people in this world because without them, I wouldn’t have my headlight fixed until the next week (and not guaranteed). It was cold, dark, and he even busted his finger open while replacing my bulb. Hands down the best auto parts store to go, wonderful customer service.
They have good service, but they don’t know what they’re talking about. My car had been skipping for a while, after new spark plugs it was still skipping. Then I went and got it scanned and the scanner read ‘misfire in cylinder 5.’ I swapped the plug wires to cylinder 5 and 6. Yes, I swapped them on the coil side too. I got it scanned again and it said ‘misfire in cylinder 5 confirmed, misfire in cylinder 6 pending.’ The employee said that ‘confirmed’ means the past 2 drive cycles, and ‘pending’ means the last drive cycle. That led me to think two cylinders were misfiring, which wasn’t the case. Only one cylinder was misfiring. Spent $90 that I can’t get back on a coil pack, which I was told by an employee was notorious for cracking. Wouldn’t go back.

Employees here seem to be half interested.. I only shop at Advance Auto for my car care needs, but I avoid this one when possible.. Most other Advanced Autos have good customer service..

Always helpful and always have my order pulled. I always order online and pickup in the store. That way you get 20% off. If you forget to add everything to your order, you can NOT add to it and get the 20% off the additional items. I have been known to go to the parking lot, order my additional item to get 20%, then go in and get them. Got to save where and when you can! Hope this helps!

Store #6659 on Woodruff Rd. in Simpsonville, SC has really gone down hill. 2 weeks ago I went in to get a brake light bulb. I was sold the bulb but told 2 reasons he couldnt install it - 1) they dont install bulbs and 2) he would do it anyway, but they were too busy with other cars and customers. Yesterday, I went to have my battery checked as cranking was sluggish (started that morning). The employee tested my battery and said it needed a charge because it was showing 1/2 the charge it should have. He then told me one terminal had a lot of corrosion and if it continued to bring it back. This morning, my battery is dead, was jumped off, and taken to the dealership where my son works to get a new battery. He states that the battery is covered in acid. After years of relying on this store, I am through with them. Ill pay the price the dealership charges. Not only did they lose a sale, both employees lost out on the cash tip money I made sure I had in my wallet to give them for both of those installs.
This is my go-to auto parts store. I recommend shopping online - you almost always can clip a 20% off coupon that way, then pick it up in the store. If its not available right away, you can ship to the store. With the online purchase coupon, they are often the cheapest around.You can get your battery, alternator and starter checked here for free.they will also read any check-engine codes and typically tell you what needs to be repaired.The employees are always helpful and the prices are good.
The customer services is awesome. Everytime I have gone into the store the people are very friendly and helpful. The prices are really good too.

Stopped in and bought a cigarette lighter replacement so that we could charge our phones. Had a friendly conversation with the associate and left. Great service
I bought a battery from Advance a few months ago. A couple weeks after installation I was having issues with the battery that caused me to incur some service costs at a local repair shop. Turns out that it was due to improper installation of the battery. Mistakes happen. No big deal. I was very impressed that the district manager and store manager were both polite and listened to my concerns. They reimbursed me immediately without any fuss. Great service and will definitely return for any auto parts needs!
This is a decent store. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Its no comparison between Advance Auto Parts and OReilly...certainly in this area anyway. Advance is streaks ahead in terms of customer service and stock. I havent tried NAPA yet but I doubt they will edge out Advance.

The staff at the 5 forks store is uniformly excellent; the onlly exception is the new guy, but he is coming up to speed and is a joy to work with. To be totally honest, I am often in the store 2 to 4 times a week so I have a very close relationship with the staff. I do get to see them interact with a lot of customees and the service is extremely consistent.

I will never go there again. I gave them the year on the door sticker I get a simple oil and filter so I thought. Well it wound up to be the wrong oil filter the motor had lots of mileage so I prefilled the filter with oil ant went to install it was wrong filter they refused to swap out for the right one . Because I prefilled it. No my fault they sold me the wrong part

Went in for a replacement brake bleeder fitting (which they ultimately didnt have). While it was helpful that the employee checked the back storage for additional bleeders, ultimately it took longer having him try to do the comparison than if Id just been able to do it myself.

Dont plan on what they say on the phone. I called with the exact part number and description. I was told they had it in the store. My husband drove over only to be told not only do they not carry that part, they cant even get it. Wasted his time an we could have gotten the part at NAPA but by the time he was at advanced auto he did not have time to get to Napa. We even had a friend over that was going to put the part in. Now i get to drive around with no AC until our friend has time to come back over.
