As of 10/27/20 this location (Southern Hills Mall) remains closed. Dont bother calling the posted phone number at the store either as it doesnt go thru. Called customer service a few times since things started to reopen to see if/when this store would, and was told it was supposed to be soon but still doesnt look promising. Looks like my one way drive time went from 30 mins to 2 hrs for a 3 min ring inspection, thats pretty neat.
The lady who works there who has fuschia colored hair was incredibly nice and very professional, she also was very personable which made it super easy to work with her. Not only do they have great jewelry with prices on point with their competitors but the staff is amazing which is why I love shopping here.
If I could give no stars I would. I took my engagement ring in to get resized and they lost it. It was never found. So my current ring is not the original. How they just simply lost something that is so important to me, I will never know.
On December my husband and I purchased an eternity band ( which we have been looking for for quite some time). We found one we liked at Kay Jewelry in Sioux City. We were told it would be ready in 2-3 weeks.I called on January 13 at approxinately 9:30 am and after holding for 15-20 minutes was told they would have to call me back in about an hour. After not hearing anything I called back at 4:45 and was told that the ring was sent as an “estimate” and was not processed to get sized (which was strange because I received an email from the service center that it was being sized...on 12/23). I was told it would be in about January 29.I called again on January 27 to make sure it would be in on the 29th and was told that a manager would call me back. Again no return call was ever made back to me!I did get a call on 1/28 that the ring was in the store. I was in Sioux City at that time (normally 1 1/2 hour drive) so I stopped to get it. When I put it on and turned my hand upside down the ring fell off...meaning it was sized incorrectly. The store was very busy the day we were there and I feel like the salespersons just rushed through to get the sale. Now it is going to be at least February 8 before I get it.Worse customer service I have ever received and I will never purchase from them again nor will I ever encourage friends to purchase there!
Chris at Kay Jewelry in Sioux City is very helpful and knowledgeable and has wonderful customer service!
Service is horrible. Return policy is horrible you buy it your stuck with it it’s like a wedding ring McDonalds!
I recently bought a ring for my fiancé in Sioux Falls South Dakota and Sioux City is a little bit closer so we went there to get it looked at to be resized it was unprofessional and I felt like she and I were both treated rudely I would highly recommend the Sioux Falls Kay instead. They were vary helpful and told me all the information I needed upfront!
Never again will I be buying from this jewlery store again! We went in to order my wedding band, a week later we called and it turns out they had canceled my order because i didnt pay(for the recored i offered to pay but they said they had ordered the ring already so i couldnt until it came in). A week later my ring comes in but its 2 sizes smaller so we had to re-size it. One week later my band is finally in and its the wrong fricken band! A completely different band. Now i have to wait and hope it comes in the same week of my wedding.
Kays customer service is by far the worst Ive encountered from any jewellery store and the product quality is very poor for the amount of money you spend. I bought a $400 necklace at Kays and bought their high recommended adjustable chain for an additional $50. I am now on my FIFTH highly recommended chain of theirs because the clasp for the chain gets lodged in the charm and breaks. Instead of offering me an alternative chain, they questioned by ability to be able to fasten the chain properly when that was never the issue. This entire issue resulted in me not being able to wear my necklace in fear that the chain would break and I would lose the charm entirely. Every trip to Sioux City to replace the chain was an unorganised hassle where we typically waited 30-45 minutes for them to do computer work that shouldve been done before we arrived. We were never compensated for the unnecessary issues we had with their jewellery. We put our faith in Kays for the last time when we purchased my engagement ring. I brought it to Kays to get routinely inspected and the next day I lost a diamond on it. When we got the call saying it was fixed we sat there for 45 minutes waiting for them to find the ring which the filed under a completely different name. We were never apologised to for this huge inconvenience either. As we lost our patience with them like any customer who spends $6000 on a ring that is missing would, they continuously snipped at us saying it was not their fault. After the limitless hassle every piece of jewellery we have bought there has caused and their inability to provide ANY compensation for their mistakes, it is safe to say we will never do business with this company again. I recommend going anywhere else to purchase jewellery and can almost guarantee that you can find better quality jewellery in a vending machine and wouldnt have to deal with unpleasant employees either.
I hate kay jewlers! We went in to make a payment on our item they said they could not find our account but we never had problems before thet wouldnt even help. Huge hit on credit score! They dont help or care! Just want money. Go any where else to buy.
Have bought numerous things here, sales and after sales service is always top notch. definitely a 10 / 10
I bought an engagement ring in December at this jewelry store I bought the diamond ring here and liked the bands that fit with the ring I was going to wait till March like I was told to get the bands and use my santa bucks that I earned in December because I would save money turns out Santa Bucks started in January not March and the salesman were very pushy hereSo I got the ring and went to the Norfork Nebraska Kay jewelry store to use my santa bucks and get my band that I picked out earlier in Sioux CityThe band that was supposed to fit was the wrong band Sioux City Kay jewelers lied to me about the band so I had to pick out a different band in Norfolk I picked out a different band and then when it came into the store it apparently was the wrong band again and I had to get another band it took three months to get my ring back I wanted to return the ring because of the issues I was tired of dealing with Kay jewelers they would not take the ring back because it was over the 60 day return policy they had my ring for almost 3 months before I actually received it. So I had to keep a ring that I liked with the band I never did want corporate was very sorry they only gave me $500 back wouldnt return the ring and wouldnt call me back for a monthKay is a bad store and chain overall. Not very happy. They have lost my buisness. I am not the only one with issues
Bought a $2000.00 dollar ring for my wife, gave it to her at Christmas, she went in to resize it, they told her it would cost 20.00. then they took the ring back and said they would get her another one the right size to replace it. Know we are looking at february 20th before we can get another ring. Probably stupid to give them the ring before the other comes in. we shall see.
