Good store, but for certain things. Store is quite clean and spacious. Lots of good deals in here to be had. The down side to this is, to get the good deals, you need to be willing to try generic or in store brands. As we all know, some can be great and others not, so it will take a bit of buying to find what you are or are not happy with for the future. Selections are also very minimal to other stores. Some things you just simply can’t find at all here. So for me, this would not be my primary store. However, if I keep track of what I can use from here and stop by if it’s on my path to get certain items, then it may be worth the savings on the items that are bought. They need to save money somewhere, to pass the savings to you, so you’ll have to decide if it’s worth your trouble. If you have a question you wish to ask them, don’t think you can call. They have an employee number only and you’ll only get corporate when trying to call them.

Our favorite grocery store now. Awesome produce, meat, frozen foods and more. The prices can’t be beat.

I love this place, best prices in the city. Definitely my first choice when it comes to grocery shopping. Dont forget to bring your own bags though, this isnt your traditional store. Its more effective and eco friendly. 🙂

Great store and friendly employees. You won’t find everything that you find at a regular store, but there are still plenty of items. What you will find, is that prices on most items are way cheaper than other grocery stores and the quality is usually better,

Selection wasnt like the other all these that I have entered. Although its a brand new store its pretty clean, but judging by the looks of things already it wont stay clean for very long. I really really do like Aldi and the chain itself. And I love what they stand for. I do however believe that they need to have more of a filtering process when it comes to hiring.

As good as it gets for grocery shopping. I like the smaller store size, its less stressful and easier to navigate. Has pretty much everything you need. Prices are significantly cheaper than even Walmart. Keep it up Aldi.

New store, warehouse feel. Carts need a quarter to unlock, but you get it back if you lock your cart to those I the corral. Has fresh foods including meats. Has many other dry good offerings and some household goods. Store staff helpful. Remember to bring bags or pay for their bags. Brown sacks were like ten cents. Insulated reusable bags 25 cents and up. Parking lot well marked with roomy spaces. I will be back.

Besides the pandemonium parking with people acting like theyre anxiously entering Noahs Ark, this store is AMAZING! They have the BEST prices in this entire tristate! Friendly knowledgeable workers. Biltong african jerky here is $2.99 whereas at HyVee its $9.99. Most shoppers arent even petty, they leave their empty carts in the store with a quarter still stuck on the handle bar. You put a quarter in the carts handle slot and you get your quarter back when you put the dangling key from another cart into your cart. Their jumbo wines are only $5.99 and regular wine bottles just $2.49 or so. So much yummy varieties of everything! They even have some German foods and household items. I LOVE THE KETO FINDS THERE! Shopping here is as fun as going to Disneyland! ONLY GOING to Aldi and Sams Club from now on!

I was really impressed with ALDI in Sioux City after my first visit. The store was clean and produce was priced VERY well. I will not be able to do all my shopping here as there are some limits to the selection, but its a great place for a quick stop or if you do not require a large selection of items.

I love this store but the limited days sucks. I can fill a shopping cart full of food until nothing else can fit on the cart for under $375. I can’t do that any where else.

Spirit Lake, Iowa desperately needs an Aldi. I guess for now, its a reason to go on road trips 2.5+ hours away. That and Buffalo Wild Wings or any decent restaurants. Im not bitter, youre bitter.ANYWAY, this is supposed to be a review of Aldi...which as you know already ROCKS!!! The manager was working the register the day we went and he seems like a really upstanding and friendly guy! It was a very pleasant experience and I miss having this wonderful store in my life as my main grocery store!!!! 😭😭😭😭. I honestly will be making sure wherever I move next HAS AN ALDI!!!!

I like Aldis prices and business model but this location is not open as often as grocery stores should be. They also seem to have a hard time keeping many items in stock.

First visit for me...knew the basics going in (.25 for a cart) took my own bags. If you dont have reusable you can purchase paper for a small fee.

Its new to the area so its still interesting. No issues with any products sold here. Good prices on most things.

Sioux City needed a place like this! Healthy affordable food choices. Yes you need to bring a quarter for a cart(which you get back) and yes you need to bring bags for your groceries which you bag yourself but it’s really not an issue. The employees are very friendly and the store looks very nice, I’m happy we finally have an Aldi.

Prices and food they have in stock is excellent. There only downside is keeping certain items in stock. I am Gluten free and Aldi has many good tasting gluten free items.

ALDI is new here in Sioux City and theyve been open for a few weeks. But they were out of the cod the second day of the ad, and a number of the freezer bins were totally empty. Five stars if things are stocked up more. I gave an extra star for not yelling at me about masks.

I love our new store! The staff is friendly and I love the different items I can find here. At Valentines day, I was able to find very unique ones for school that were not candy.

Found lots of great new products to try here and some of the products I already buy on my regular grocery runs but at a much better price! The only issue(s) I have are beyond their control. Just like every new thing in Sioux City, this place is jam full of clowns every open hour of the day. It isnt a very large store square footage wise so this leads to a lot of unwanted close encounters and anxiety when shopping if you arent a people person.Disregard that other review written by Kelsey Gill, she seems like a real Karen 😂

Everything here is better (and usually healthier) than anything at Hy-Vee. Aldi’s is my go to place for groceries.

Great atmosphere, reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and it was nice to see the cashier had a chair if needed.

Decided to try Aldis today.First off I had to pay a $0.25 deposit to use one of their carts. Their organic produce is extremely overpriced.Only two checkers with two long lines and no self serve. I have experienced enough I will never go back again

I lived in Chicago for 55 yrs.so I knew and shopped at Aldi .I moved to Ne. 3 yrs ago and I was lost no Aldi !! So in our neighborhood paper there was a article of on being built in Iowa I was so excited.I was there for opening day and shop there regularly .The quality of food and prices can not be beat .I ❤️Aldi .No joke I am so pleased with the healthy food choices also a large variety of ethnic foods.I encourage you to go to your nearest Aldi you wont regret it.

I love Aldi, the products are great. They do charge a quarter for cart, but you get it back when you take cart back. Very smart business sense. Saves on overhead, and low prices. I shopped at aldi in Omaha. Have always loved them. Dont be afraid to try different things.

On 4/13/21 around 15:51PM shopped at AldiKaled the Cashier was very rude to me.He told me to go back on the line while my husband was on line and ready to pay our groceries. I was not cutting the line. I just run to get ice-cream to add to our groceries. Anyway I did went back the line and paid the ice cream. But what a guy I think he doesnt have any customer-skills, and very disrespectful.

The prices are way better than hyvees.. so far they keep things better in stock than Hyvee too.. I don’t get why so many people in this city are so stuck up and hate cause they don’t have many brand name products. There hasn’t been much of a difference in taste so far. They just need more vegan products.

I love aldis they have the BEST munster cheese! Milk prices are always low and lets not forget to mention all the unique items they carry.

Not enforcing masks even though there is a mask mandate until Feb 6 in Iowa. No one is following the arrows in aisles. It’s clustered and no one is following 6’ rule.I told manager they need to have MEN that work there so they can enforce the mask mandate - since it was all men who weren’t following the rules. They don’t respect women unfortunately. The manager said “thanks for your concern.”So utterly disappointed.If you can’t enforce the rules - don’t open your doors. Why is someone else’s health more important than mine?
