I recently sold my 2014 bmw i8 to swap motor and was very happy with the offer Shane give me for it. He was very helpful though the whole process. This was the first time I’ve used Swap Motors. To my surprise it was absolutely fantastic. The gentleman Who worked with me, Josh, was an honest and helpful throughout the process. I first went to a Mercedes dealership for a trade in and then Carmax. I have a 2019 Tesla 3 Performance. Both the dealership and Carmax offered me 44k. Swap Mottors offered me 46k. It’s was so easy, make the appointment and go bring your car to them, it gets an inspection for about 25 minutes. They call you back an hour or 2 later with the price. The next day, I brought the car in and received a cashiers check and was out of there in 15 minutes. Absolutely the best process I’ve ever had for a resale of a vehicle.

Most of these perfect positive reviews appear to be store bought. Desperate substandard restaurants do this also to get more business. They never did anything good for me as a seller except pressure me to lower the price.Doesnt take much talent to give nice things away. Im not sure but, I sense theyre going out of business.

People there are really nice though, but if your main idea is to get people more money for their cars, Swap Motors did not deliver and for that reason does not really deserve 5 stars.It is very easy and fast to get rid off your car by auctioning with Swap Motors, but dont expect too good of a price. I sold a 2006 Ford Mustang with racing stripes and all, so sure to draw lots of attention, but on their platform it got 1 bid and thats it.

Fantastic, easy process that also netted me 40%+ more than the other offers! This was really convenient and fast - I couldnt recommend it more. Basically a few minutes on my computer, an hour at home with somebody from their team who came to me, and then my car was sold via their auction process. I cant imagine doing it any other way!

The idea of this place is good and the people that work there are nice but the platform is not good. They have you sign up and they put you in touch with the sellers. I was looking to buy a 2002 Audi All-road. We agreed to a price and I submitted an offer and the seller accepted. He accepted the offer through the Swap website on a Saturday and we agreed to close on the following Tuesday. I get a a text the Monday before that the seller sold the car to someone else. There was nothing I could do. The offer means nothing, swap has no power over if the car can be sold to someone with an accepted offer or not. There is no point in the offer. The seller obviously had some poor ethics but swap should have something in place to protect against something like this. I would recommend this place as a seller but not as a buyer.

Very positive experience. I was initially skeptical of why a company would provide free services of photographing the car, doing an inspection etc but went with it after reading the reviews on here.Met with their rep last Sunday who was polite and took a number of pictures after doing an evaluation and test drive.Got a call from a prospective buyer on Sat night..met with him on Sunday. Buyer came prepared knowing condition of car and areas of wear and tear. After a quick negotiation completed the transaction within an hour. All in all 6 days of listing on Swap and ended up with a price that was a few thousand dollars better than dealer trade-in.

Awesome Experience. It is extremely easy and all the steps are outlined from start to finish. Biggest issue with selling cars is the hassle of low bids and people taking you for a ride. Swap Motors eliminates that hassle. Highly Recommend!

I was skeptical at first but after doing some due diligence and chewing Joshes ear out with a million questions Ive decided to work with Swap Motors. I love their business model and know itll be a game changer especially for people who might feel overwhelmed with the process of buying or selling their car. They make everything quick and painless and help you get the best price for your car. I had a Chevy Equinox 2017 that carmax offered about $10k but when i went through their auction option i was able to sell my car for over $13k. (Keep in mind this took place during Covid-19 when the car buying market was low.) The whole process was literally done the same day. Obviosuly i can only speak from a sellers point of view going the auction route but I will definitly be working with them from now on.

Great overall experience selling my car with Swap Motors. Found their website while searching online. Signing up was easy. I went to their Swap center in Skokie where they evaluated my car and took photos. Once my car was in their marketplace, I sold it in 8 days to a buyer. I got 2,500 more than what a dealer was willing to pay for it. Overall, a positive experience. In a nutshell: these guys do all the work for sellers. Photos, carfax, listing, advertising the car on other online classifieds, closing assistance etc.. highly recommend their service if youre looking to sell a car and want to get a bit more money than a dealer trade-in

These guys are true pros. They evaluated our vehicle, took photos and walked us through the process of selling it via marketplace or auction. Once the deal closed, they walked us through the mechanics of title transfer, plates, etc. if you are thinking of selling your car, I would highly recommend using them.

Selling my car through the Swap Motors auction was a great experience. We netted $3,500 more than the dealer had offered us for a trade-in. It only took two days to sell, and we had a check in hand just a day later. Almost better than getting more money was not having the feeling of being taken advantage of by the dealer.
