Carlos and other sales associate weren’t helpful at all. The cashier saw my boyfriend at pick up station but, continued ignoring him while assisting another customers who came later than him. I assigned my boyfriend as pick up person but, they didn’t seem what they were doing and letting him wait there for a long time. What’s the point of pick up order and assigning alternative pick up person? Worst shopping experience. Never returning this location.

I was happy to do some much needed retail therapy here today. The experience was more pleasant because I was assisted by Carlos who was patient and kind while I figured out what I wanted. I really appreciate their help. Give Carlos a raise and ALL the flowers.

I went into this ulta to look for hair color and it was a very uncomfortable experience. I’ve been here before and nothing like this had ever happened. I felt like all the employees were rude and following me. They didn’t seem to care about what I needed more so when I was leaving. But yeah.

Today I walked in and a young woman Jackie walked up and asked if I needed help and let me tell you she is your go to !!! Helped with tinted moisturizer and much more thank you for being so helpful. She works for nudestix thank you again.

Homira is wonderful! She is a licensed brow expert for Benefit Cosmetics. Her skill makes a big difference; always doing a terrific job and it is a very pleasant experience. I would recommend her to any of my friends.

Its really not nice and not friendly people here.,, Im done with this store on this location, never ever come again,,its so sad because i have 5 min to this store, but better go to other location, where is more friendly and competent people..and one more things -- i olways see some promotional, or some free gift with purchase,--but never ever even can take a sampler(even if ask)..seriously ?i spend few hundred -and cant take a sampler for try something new ??? I got my hair styled and colored by Jennifer, and it was literally one of the best salon experiences of my life! Jennifer is such a wonderful and charismatic person - meeting her was truly the best part of my visit. She went above any beyond the expectations I had for my drastic change (we cut off over a foot), and I couldn’t be happier with the results!!! 10/10 would recommend!

Rachel. This lady could say the simplest of things in the rudest way possible. There’s no point in legit YELLING at a customer when YOU fail to keep temporary face masks in your facility. You can kindly ask the customers to leave but I think her upbringing was lacking. Perhaps Rachel never learned to properly greet and politely ask someone to leave. Her tone and attitude are unwelcoming and inappropriate. Please refrain from interacting with her at the cashier. She makes transactions awkward and uncomfortable. In case her name isn’t actually Rachel she has short blond hair and looks like a stuck up brat who hates her life and job. Never coming to this location again however the employee working next to her was a total sweetheart. Beautiful and kind. I’m only sad she has to deal with Rachel on an every day basis.

Excellent products and over the board customer service. I was greet at the door and taken to what products I was needing.

I go to Ulta Salon to see Joe every time I get my hair done, and he always delivers. I have tricky hair, but he has taken the time with me to figure out how my hair reacts and exactly the look Im going for. Ive always been of the mindset that you get what you pay for, so when it comes to my hair, I trust Joe to tell me when I need a full highlight instead of a partial or if a cut will elevate the look. He never recommends something just for the sake of it.I cannot recommend him enough, especially if you want someone who cares about the health of your hair and getting to know YOU. He even offered to send my color formulations to an Ulta in Los Angeles when I move at the end of the year and speak directly to a stylist for me. Now THAT is the customer service Im looking for. Joe, if youre reading this, thank you. I love my hair and youre the best.

I had a exceptional and marvelous experience today at Skokie Ulta Salon. Joe Foster is the most professional and talented stylist I have ever experienced. I went for a basic shampoo/ trim and there was nothing basic about his services except the price. There is a great promotional price at the moment. I had a awesome scalp massage, deep conditioning, silky blowout, precision trim and iron curls. Joe is patient with his clients, ensures the customer is comfortable with his services as he asks frequently your comfort level or can he offer you anything. The services exceed any salon I have ever visited. I highly recommend a visit. Joe specializes in healthy hair and uses high quality products. The scalp massage alone is worth a visit. Thank you Joe, I will be having a wonderful birthday thanks to my new sexy hair.

I came into Ulta for a hair product and I needed help and I had an associate, Nayomi, help me with a product for my hair. She was so sweet & she knew exactly what she was talking about. She was very helpful and I loved the way she asked if I needed anymore help. You managers should be proud of Nayomi. Thank you again Nayomi and I’ll be sure to ask for you again. I definitely give Nayomi 5 stars for her kindness and all the knowledge she gave me with hair products.I’m giving this 1 star because there is this rude cashier. She rang me out and she was wearing a pink dress and she had red hair. She was very rude. her name was Rachel. I did not like the way she was and the way she talked to me. She has a bad attitude. She was also giving attitude and I was not pleased. The manager should definitely speak to her about her rudeness to customers.

Rachel. How many times do people need to be disrespected by this single employee, for management to take action? If any of you actually care about customer service then READ all reviews and do something about her. Either she should work in the back or warehouse or she should be fired.

I used to frequent this location often to get my brows done at the Benefit Bar. It’s a shame that they got a new manager and fired one of their long time brow employees. Since Linda has been fired, I unfortunately have zero reason to return to your store.

Came in yesterday (a Saturday) with a small group of ladies. Jessica (with MAC) was amazing!! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous! Was attentive to each of us, patiently answering any and all questions. If another customer would interrupt, she would politely excuse herself and help them quickly and efficiently. If she was unable to quickly step away, she would ask a nearby staff member to help, relaying specifically what the customer had asked. Very professional!! Also, her demos were amazing, she was clear about what she was doing, which products to use, how to achieve a look, and which colors would work best. Its clear that she not only knows what shes doing, is good at what she does, but also thoroughly enjoys it! If shopping at this store for makeup, ask for Jessica, you wont regret it!

Visited this store yesterday and I enjoyed my shopping experience! The staff was very helpful and friendly, accomated my questions and help me decide on products that I can try. There are just some items that run out but still it’s a good place for beauty products shopping! For both budget friendly and high end.

This is a good Ulta store. They are not all created equal. Staff here is helpful yet hands off once you say youre just browsing. Displays are a little cleaner, though keeping up with the public who destroy the testing displays is understanably difficult. Of three Ultas that are similar distances, this one is my go-to.

Saturday at 330. 28 people in line with only 4 registers open out of 6 because “the other 2 are broken.” And then one of the four leaves! Gotta wonder if they’re aware that on line shopping is their competition!

I always go there for any newer parfumes that i need.Lately they had a lot of advertisements about different deals and gifts that come with such purchases,however they failed to deliver on those offers. Not sure if this kind of gestures are simply made only to attract customers totally disregarding the fact that they might not be happy after their hope of receiving a little gift promised to them in their email...It was never ever the case with this company and it’s truly sad that in past few months their customer service is not at the level where it was for a very long time.I still give them 5 stars hoping that they will correct little things in which they start slacking...

I came in a few days ago extremely upset and defeated. I had the anchor stores at old orchard and Northbrook more worried about selling me $2,000 face care systems then worried about my needs.My skin was extremely agitated and so was I. I have food allergies and those foods are in most face products. I was angrily walking around reading ingredients and trying to keep to myself.I was stopped by an employee (Terry) to ask if I needed help. Truthfully I did not want any after the experiences I have had lately. I kind of snapped how I was fine and didn’t need help. But the Terry could sense I was frustrated but still tried to help.He told me he’s here to help and asked what’s going on.I explained the situation and his face lit up as he told me he absolutely can help me.Terry set me up with a full system for the price of one of the products that the other stores were trying to sell me on.It’s 3 days later and my skin has been completely turned around from the mess that the Dior facial I had gotten at Northbrook had made.Terry was such a pleasure to chat with and so helpful and knowledgeable!He really cared to help me get the best products for my skin.This Ulta is great but as you guys can tell I think Terry is the best!5 stars for Ulta. 10 stars for Terry 🤣

Ulta is a good place to browse when you have some time, checking out new products, finding out about discontinued ones, and so on. It is not the best place for quick, targeted shopping trips, as many displays are changed and/or reordered and so you cannot just buzz in expecting to find the MAC display where it was, say last week. Today on the holiday (Easter/Passover) weekend, this store was crowded and noisy, but heavily staffed, mostly with people walking around asking people if they require assistance about every 3-4 minutes. It may just be me, buy nothing can drive me from a store faster than having personnel hover, redundantly asking if I need help, and not believing my answers. Today, I grabbed a few things off my list and boogied on out. I was exhausted to begin with, and the sales clerk polka was beyond me. Im not gone for good, as these stores are worthwhile places with a great variety of stock, ok prices, nice atmosphere, and usually pleasant personnel. Today, it was overkill. Oh, well

I love Ulta, however this location across from Old orchard is not as friendly or accommodating as are many other locations!I have been here twice this week both times spending $200 totaling $400 in one week and when asked for a sample each time you would’ve thought I was asking for $1 million Dollars !!!They are so stingy on samples when they have counters full of them, duh!!! this is how you come back and buy more which I have done millions of times by sampling different brands, I will not be doing it here because I will no longer be back! i I even bought something that was supposed to have a free gift but manager on duty told me they were out when I just received the coupon in the mail today lol!. My next trip will be back to Sephora where they give you many things to try.

I really love Ulta I think they have come a long way w so many great brands. I have shopped here many times, but never 10 mins before they close. I new exactly what I needed to buy and needed no help. But, I have never felt so rushed and pressured to check out and leave. That I was told that I had 5mins left and personally told they would be closing soon. Ulta should really think about having at least a 10min after closing courtesy like others establishments.

I am becoming a huge Ulta fan over Sephora these days. I was waited on immediately when I came. The sales person was very helpful in doing a color match and suggesting a new primer. I am happy with all of the products that I bought after a week! I will come here again soon. I prefer this location and the Ulta at Clyborne Square. My only complaint was that the brush section needs to be refilled because there werent as many options that I was hoping for, but I did go on a busy weekend.

I love my hair stylist (Ruth) at the Salon here. Everyone in THIS ULTA Salon is friendly, non pretentious and seem to care about clients. Were this Review on this Salon alone Id give it 5⭐s. The Store seems to be well stocked w/items they advertise. The stores Reps, for the most part, lack personality, dream or are just lazy. Every section is occupied by reps who work in a different section. They cannot help/answer questions. This was the 4th time I waited in checkout line while people obviously grew impatient, if not walking out the door, due to the lack of open registers (there are 3 or 4 but rarely more than one CASHIER). Groups of Sales reps doing nothing but holding up tables or walls, appearing to be absorbed in convos unrelated to ULTA- are in plain sight but NOT at a register! I wont get into various probs occurring at registers, remarks made by cashiers that are not apropos ... if you have time, like I did that day, then shop here. Dont go here knowing nothing about what you want, you have product questions, etc.. Dont shop here if you need to be in and out. Otherwise, yeah, its okay.

I hate this store. I understand if youre into make up and all that, you may live and breath ULTA.For someone who wears little makeup and only shops ULTA for Christmas gifts or a specialty item here and there, they are pushy at the check outs for personal information and get testy when you refuse to give your phone number or join the ULTA membership.Returns even with a receipt are impossible without giving up personal information.

Never would recommend their salon. They charged me $50 on a cut that was more of a trim n she spent about 10 minutes on my hair. Better off going to supercuts if i wanted service that quick and would have been charged the amt that they spend on your hair.

I don’t wear make up, like at all! I’ve gone to other ultas and they usually get annoyed because I seriously don’t know the first thing about make up hence the why I’m in a make up store looking for advice.I was hesitant to ask at first because I didn’t even know where to start or what to ask and I had already tried to a couple times before with no luck. Jessica however was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and really helpful. She suggested items based on my skin and demonstrated the difference. I got a couple start up items thanks to her. By far one of the best ultas I’ve been to, if you get a chance ask for Jessica she’s super sweet and knowledgeable!

Awful customer service experience. Was questioned when trying to return a product that was bought less than 12 hours before. Would gladly prefer shopping at sephora than stepping into ulta again.

I went in for a particular Lancôme product, they didnt have the shade I need and the ulta rep proceeded to try and sell me a different shade. The shade for a concealer is not an option, it is my skin color. I dont know what she was thinking. It is also particularly frustrating that Lancôme products arent carried at every Ulta.
