Went to rite aid tonight for a card for a wedding tomorrow. We ran in at 8:59 to a sorry we are closed I asked the associate if I could just grab a wedding card that was all I needed. I got the card she went to lock the door and someone who I am assuming was a manager or shift supervisor refused to let us get the card that was in my hand and I was waiting at the register. We were in the store before 9 pm the cash was still in the drawer. Terrible customer service, I understand wanting to go home after a long day but we left the store at 9:02 if I was in the store at 8:50 and took 10 minutes to pick a card I would not have been asked to leave. Absolutely ridiculous

I have used many pharmacies over the course of my life. These pharmacists are some of the nicest people Ive ever dealt with. If you are a day or 2 early they will work with you, they will call your Doc, they will order a special generic for you. Everyone behind the counter is working hard so you dont have to wait.

The staff are friendly and offers good customer service.

I have been taking the same medication for many years. I come in to pick up my medication and the pharmacist says they switched to a new manufacturer because the previous medication is no longer preferred. Mind you, like I stated, I have been taking the same manufacturer and dose for many years. She tells me its the same thing. It is not the same thing, it is completely different looking and has completely no affect on providing the relief in which the medication is intended for. She never notified me before hand that they were changing my medication and this medication should be tested for its active ingredient because I believe it to be a fraudulent description. The unfortunate thing is that I am judged by the medication I am taking, when it is the only thing that has managed my condition for many many years and the fact that a pharmacy is willing to mess with someone’s well being solely on the basis of saving money or an argument that has no bearing on my situation is absurd. I am appalled that they gave me this medicine as a replacement because it is certainly not what it is suppose to be. I have had nothing but headaches and diarrhea since taking it and I have never had that issue with my previous medication. I think this is ridiculous and no one will likely consider my complaint solely on the fact that my medication is looked down upon by many people including the pharmacists who are never friendly when I am dealing with them. There are many people in this world that need the medicine I take to have somewhat of a normal life and the fact that these pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies want to play games with our well being is not acceptable. I hope the pharmacist reads this review and they should have this medication tested for its contents because it is certainly not what she said and NOT THE SAME THING! What a disgrace to the profession you are in and the code of ethics you should be abiding by.

Just was there. The cashier said I had to stand behind a line. And she was nasty. I ask how am I supposed to pay from where I was standing? And she didnt answer me. So I walked out. Im not going there again. Boycott that store. They are nasty!

The stars that I did give are mainly for the pharmacy, which is alright. However, service at the front is extremely slow and theres often only one person at the registers. While Ive not experienced them to be unpleasant, it doesnt feel like the staff are well-informed or equipped to handle the simplest of customer questions. In the midst of the current shortage, I asked someone at the register if they had Purell, to which they responded Whats Purell? So that sums up my experiences here.

My 2 closest closed w/o warning (to me lol), South Plainfield & Eliz St Somerset😔. Somerville is now closest 9 miles😂. Guess Walgreens will finally take over all of them? Another? Walgreens is great. Better than CVS in my experience. Good luck to rite aid, seems they are the ones that need first aid!

The customer service here on numerous different visits has been lackluster and the store employees seem disgruntled. When asking them questions they seem disinterested in helping and everything is always broken.

Don’t go to this store unless you have time to waste . Cashiers were slow on multiple occasions . Clearly just waitin out there time with no concern of the time of customers .
