I wish I could give 0 stars. Grotesque displays of transphobia on multiple occasions from an Asian-American female pharmacist. In front of a crowded line she said she could not give me my medication because my gender marker on insurance didnt match my ID. I tried to explain that was for personal, medical reasons but she refused to give me my prescriptions--loudly talking about my gender where several people surely heard.I call my doctor and she said there was an issue with the prescription...but it had NOTHING to do with my gender marker.I swore to never go back but I had to call about something.I need to refill a prescription. Can I do that here or should my doctor call?her: I dont know.Okay well can I refill my XYZ?her: what?Should my doctor call?her: yeah okay.So my doctor will call to refill XYZ.her: okay Ill cancel your prescription. And at that point I hung up. Never touched the store, app, or pharmacy again.
Possibly the rudest cashiers I’ve ever interacted with, not just to me but to the other customers as well. Store itself was clean and well organized. Hope I just came in on a bad day.
The worst Walgreens I’ve ever been to. Echoing the complaints of other reviewers who say every cashier here seems to have utter contempt for their job and their customers. Always worth the ten extra minutes just to go to the Walgreens on Mass Ave. Better yet, try CVS
Worst pharmacy. Always miss one of my prescriptions forcing me back to wait in the long line multiple times. This is after calling ahead to check that everything is ready and being told yes. Do your job people!!
EXCELLENT!
Their customer service is terrible. I was calling to ask if they have a certain vaccination provided and the woman who picked up the call was very aggresive and impatient. She put me on hold after getting the name of the vaccination and just hang up on me after letting me wait minutes long. As it turns out they only do two certain vaccinations now so clearly that woman had no idea what their store is providing.
Everyone weve dealt with here is perfectly pleasant and effective. We generally stop in to pick up scrips and do a little shopping while were there. Its a smaller store, but has a decent bit of stock on hand. My son particularly enjoys checking out the toys and such. He and I often shop separately and I have found the staff to be particularly kind and helpful toward him.I generally walk out with a spontaneous smile, simply because completing my little transaction at the register is a pleasant, human experience.I would expect that folks need to remember that you get back from people what you give out. So, try smiling and treating the staff like human beings. Maybe it will be a better experience for you. Im sure the staff would appreciate it, too.
Other than the ladies at the cosmetics check out counter (who truly understand customer service & what professional behavior is) this place has poorly trained employees and sometimes sells expired food. In snowy weather they (on a good day) mostly clear the sidewalk.
I have been coming to this Walgreens Pharmacy for several years and the pharmacy staff is excellent. They are helpful, patient, and very knowledgeable. Whenever Ive had a question, theyve been responsive. I highly recommend this pharmacy.
They’re a nice group who likes to get to know their customers and have fun ☺️
The employees here seem to get more rude every month. Ive had my purchasing decisions questioned, been looked at funny when picking up certain medications, (my husband and i are both transgender, and its usually his testosterone that gets us funny looks) had cashiers refuse to accept slightly torn but completely valid money, and had cashiers make passive-aggressive comments to me. They seem to be selecting for nosy, grumpy employees.Annoyingly, they are by far the most convenient pharmacy to my house. But Im actively looking for alternatives.
Good store. Lots of easy parking available. But, my lord, the guy that works the register at night is the slowest ive ever seen. He got mad at me, because i started to help him put all my stuff in a bag because the line was getting so long. Like seriously, im a patient man but its borderline comical how long this dude takes to ring people up.
These negative reviews are truly bizarre. This is the best run, cleanest Walgreens Ive been in, and by far the nicest employees. To complain about these charming, hard-working people is nuts. They often brighten my day. The managers (Mohommed and Sushil) are among the most competent, cheerful and engaging people Ive ever run into in any store. The former pharmacist, Henry, was, hands-down, the best Ive ever dealt with. The respect was like something out of a bygone era. The new pharmacists are a mixed lot, but they are all competent, and Kathleen is great. All in all, a superb store..It may be part of a gigantic national chain, but it feels like a neighborhood store.
Employees are appallingly rude and sometimes food is expired.
Closest to my house but employees need to figure out how to be nice. Some pharmacists ok.
A wallgreens that is well stocked and reliable. Their photo section prints pretty good quality photos for the standard price they charge (some walgreens have terrible quality but this one is great).
Took over an hour for a filled prescription to get to me. They didn’t know what they were talking about, and gave me the wrong thing. On top of being disorganized and not time efficient, they had an attitude.
Good Walgreens. never too busy
Prices can be on the pricier side but store is clean and easy to get in and out
Just waited in the parking lot for the store to open up 6 min late. I spent $30 here and then couldnt get a customer service rep to unlock the bathroom! Horrible service
Not a great place at all.
Professional operation
Store and pharmacy in one place, it is good to save time, sometimes it is always neat. And it has offers on vitamin supplements and others. At the pharmacy the attention is quite slow.
