Love this place

My car was brought back to life, its tires were ready to fall off and I had a broken rear window he fixed it and no longer do I fear my tires will fall off while I am driving and I can turn my radio down again, this guy does great work and offers a heck of a deal too. Good service, honest work, fair prices.

Great customer service. This place will never try to sell you something you dont need. They may suggest things, but will never make you feel like you HAVE to buy it.

He will have your vehicle twice the amount of time quoted. Had my truck for two weeks and I incurred extra charges above quote to make up for his technical difficulties. He basically had my truck held hostage for two days after it was fixed because he parked a big Sears truck in front of the garage,blocking my exit. He has mechanical skill but it will be overshadowed by the over all disorganization and lack of customer service. Dont take your car here unless you have a few weeks to play around with them.

Completely unprofessional. Was told to drop off my truck on Saturday around 1 and I would receive it back Saturday afternoon. It’s just changing radios out. It’s now Monday 5pm, they close at 6pm and my truck still is not worked on. I can’t get ahold of anyone by text message or calling. I’ve stopped by and no one is there. Do not use these company for anything.

From factory repairs to custom work. These shops are few and fare between. I would recommend.

I drove in from out of town and needed my car fixed in order to drive back home the next day, I took it to Rage and not only did they diagnose my car, but they stayed after hours in order to have it in working condition for me the next day and the price was incredibly generous. So thankful for these people!!

Good quality work and decent people

Rage Customs is an absolutely fantastic shop for all sorts of needs, be they custom builds or regular repairs. Matt is a very well-learned mechanic with lots of knowledge about cars both new-and-old, and in lots of respects he is an expert even in those very unusual issues on old cars. I went there once for a small problem and I just keep coming back.There are a lot of haters that complain about Rage and Matt, but they are just that: haters, people who dont pay their bills and make it Matts problem, people with unreasonable demands and not very much common sense.The high level of professionalism and good service I have experienced at Rage speaks to their efforts as mechanics, and I believe in them 100% and trust no other mechanic in south bend to touch my stuff. Their pricing is also fan-freaking-tastic. They really REALLY fight to get you a good deal on everything they do, and they are very upfront and honest about it all. I trust them to keep my cars safe and running well, and trust that I will get a good deal everytime.

My son went there and Matt never fixed his car ripped him off by bumping up the price and my son got 500$ for his car. Hes a crook and youll be sorry if you do business with him.
