Vehicle interiors looked amazing but the exteriors left something to be desired. Missing door handles, one was glued on, really weird stuff. The prices also ran high, which would be okay if the vehicles were in better condition. I only looked at the bottom prices on the lot though; the newer vehicles looked nice.

For years I drive by Omari going through downtown. I always take a quick look at the vehicles in his lot. Even check out his website. Been very pleased with his choice of vehicles he sells. Even see nice vehicles on road with his name on it where they got it. I’m so use to going to big dealerships, I wanted to try something different. So glad I did! They made you feel like family. Especially loved their sense of humor. I don’t like dealing with sales people or people in general. But they made me feel very comfortable. I got educated on vehicles and especially on financing. The financing blew me away. I have bought 7 vehicles through financing in big dealerships. Never I mean never been shown the computer screen and educated on every step he was doing. I am very please getting the Kia Soul for my husband there. They put work into it and the inside looked brand new, even engine was spotless! I will return again when my kids need their first car. So they can experience that joyful environment at Omari, like I did. I also will recommend friends and co-workers to go there. When buying a used car I think most places are as is, but not here. They will go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy. Best dealership I have ever dealt with. They are friendly and helpful. I got a good price on a good car. The best part about them is that they stand behind the cars they sell. I had an issue with the air conditioner about a month after buying the used car. Although there was no warranty, since this issue existed at the time of the sale, they agreed to fix it. This fact alone puts them well above any other dealership I have ever dealt with, this in addition to a great selection of cars, fairly priced, and sold by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. I only gave 5 stars because 6 stars wasnt an option.

My salesman Jaison asked me what I was looking for .(4 door sedan, low-ish miles, leather interior, under 10 grand) He proceeded to show me my range of options, and steered me away from any vehicle that may not have been appropriate for me. Test-drove it, went to a mechanic, checked with my own OBD2 scanner and went back to them after 1.5hrs. They have their own mechanics also. Have repair service and were willing to promise to finish it as good as it could be. Seemed honest with any potential problems, willing to double check the car and let us see the result. I could read there were error codes (not serious ones), which implied the possibility that they might not bother clearing them and fooling buyers. Took time to explain. Willing to negotiate. And they would not play the back-and-forth negotiation game. They gave me a set price that they thought was the best and that was it. Definitely recommend them without hesitation.

Bought a 2016 Fiat 500 at a great price couldn’t pass it up. A few days driving it I noticed that when it would shift down the car would go left also noticed that my headlights were dimming and flickering. I know buying a used car you take your chances but I called and was told to bring it in the following day. Instead of them telling me oh well or just blowing me off they ordered the parts to fix the issue. Definitely will be continuing my business with them as well as referring others to them!Update to my review: after dropping my car off to be repaired I was told it’d be fixed the same day or the following day. Never received a call so I called Omari myself was told the office manager was busy and would return my call (this was at about 3 in the afternoon they close at 6) never received a call back. I called the next day and was told that they had not gotten to it and would be ready the following day. AGAIN no call the next day. The owner called me that Friday (I dropped my vehicle off Monday) to tell me that while the mechanic was fixing my vehicle another part broke so they had to order another part and it would be ready Monday. Of course at this point that sends up red flags but the owner assured me that this extra part that broke had some wear and tear on it, that it would’ve broken at some point in the future. Picked up my vehicle the following Monday and ask I’m driving I’m hearing NEW noises in my front end now. So I call Omari AGAIN and say hey my front end is making noises now so I was told to bring it in again. I dropped my vehicle off again that Saturday and was given a loaner car (that had less than a quarter of a tank and of course I had to stop to get gas because I’m on my way at to work). Monday rolls around no call so I call them and I’m told to call back to get an update. I called back and I’m told oh the car place wasn’t able to get to it and they would first thing the next day. So I can waited and waited, this is now Tuesday afternoon, I called them to get an update and was told oh your vehicle is ready to be picked up. The noises I was hearing is that I have basically a new front end and it’s the parts wearing them self into place. Okay so at this point they must think I’m dumb as heck and I said okay picked up my vehicle and left. I took my vehicle to another mechanic to find out there is a problem with my front end and they couldn’t find the issue either! The owner offered that I could come in and trade my vehicle but I’m sure this would take another hit on my credit. When it all comes down to it I feel that they did everything they possibly could but I picked a bad apple, it’s life. The office staff were amazing tho! I gave 4 stars because I wasn’t too happy about having to call multiple times to get an update on my vehicle.

I have been very satisfied with my decision to purchase a car from Omari Auto Sales. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and laid back. They worked with me to get the price where it needed to be for me and even fixed some things before I picked up the car. The lot is small but it had a lot of variety and better choices than I had seen at many local used car lots. I was driving by this business when my van got a flat tire with my whole family inside. The owner and staff helped get us out of the dangerous intersection and let me use their tools to fix it free of charge. When this was going on, they let my kids wait in the lobby as I got a new tire. I did not buy anything from Omari, but I certainly would do so. While I was around back, I saw them taking care of their inventory prior to offering it for sale. I believe they would not put anything sub-par on the road. Its nice to meet some people with old-fashioned decency. I will be stopping here for my next van.

I got my car, a 2005 Chevy Malibu, from here sometime last year, and it has continued to work amazingly for me. It has been very dependable, and I enjoy driving it very much. I am 18 years old and I just bought my first car yesterday. My family buys all of our cars through Omari so there was no debate about where I would go to buy mine. The customer service was fantastic. With me being so young, everyone told me to be careful of dealerships manipulating me because of my age. This was NOT an issue at Omari. Everyone was very honest and treated me like family.

So my wife just got off the phone angry at this car place. None of the car lots are open in Kalamazoo Mi so my wife went on Craigslist to see about different cars that were available and this lot had many ads up with nice cars. The post actually said that they will take any credit and etc. (sales men lie) yesterday my wife had called about a car and the man was nice he took down her information and told her he will call back. Never calls back so my wife was nice enough to be like maybe he forgot (But why would a person who gets paid off of commissions not pay attention to that kind of stuff right) red flag from there! But so she called and a lady came on then a nice man came on and ask her information. Then the personality switches when he looks at her credit. My wife went to school so she has many loans. Basically says that she doesn’t have anything positive on her credit which is true but she’s working on it. So his whole tone change and started to act rude! She felt uncomfortable at how he was talking to her and hang up. Then the sale men call back even more rude and she’s hangs up again. I mean it was best for the both! But people shouldn’t have to deal with people judging them and making them feel bad because of past decisions. On the post it stated works with any credit but you call them and they just treat like ish. I don’t know about anybody else but I always give my support to companies that had morals and get people to work for them who has customer service spirit. I see everyone states that they are liars so listen to them and stay away. #DontSupportAholes

I found Omari to be fair and easy to work with. I knew going in how much my trade in was worth and how much the car I wanted to purchase was worth. I did my research long before I went into their office. They offered me a very fair price for my trade in that I didnt even haggle over. They were great to work with and found ways to work within my budget. I havent had any issues with my vehicle and found their office staff professional and friendly. After 4 months I took my vehicle back up to the office and they gave me $100 for keeping their sticker on my back window. Then I later referred another customer to them and they gave me another $100 for referring a friend who purchased a vehicle from them. They are very fair in pricing for both purchase and trade in. I highly recommend them.

I am not really the type to write a review whether my experience is good or bad. But I feel like Im in need to write this review just because they deserve it! I had gone to a couple of other BIG dealerships in town leaving each one with utter disappointment. BUT NOT with Omari. As soon as I parked the car at the dealership, Mike approached me in a split second. He is just the nicest and most helpful. He helped me get the deal I WANT plus EXTENDED WARRANTY!!! How cool is that!? Excellent service! I would love to recommend him and and Omari Auto Sales to my family & friends. And oh, I also want to thank Amalial, my finance manager. She is just as pleasant to work with. I am a very happy customer. Thank you again!

We have purchased a few cars from this dealership and every time was a great experience. Beautiful vehicles but with high mileage. Watch out for the ones that show they have a warranty because this is false. The only way youre going to get a warranty on the vehicle is to spend three or four thousand dollars above cost

They work with you when others wont. Good family owned business. You can tell they care about their customers and their reputation as a business. It isnt just about how many cars they can push out the door for sales. They actually take their time with their customers. They ask you what you want in a car and your budget and give you options from there. They even try different financing companies to try and get you the best rate. I will be going back for my next car there.

I purchased my SUV from them in February. The first two weeks it ran amazing. Jaison was our salesman. He did a wonderful job. Very nice and laid back. After two weeks the SUV started chugging and wanted to die everytime it stopped. Took it back and they said they would look at it. Told us the coil packs needed changed. So the owner said he would replace them. A few days later picked my suv up ran batter for a day or two. Then it started doing the same thing. Took it to my mechanic and they said motor mounts were broke and they never changed the coil packs. I will never buy a vehicle from them again. If you do take your own mechanic with.
