Found this provider on the directory on the WV Medicaid website. When I called to try to make an appointment for my daughter they rudely told me they didnt take it and hung up on me (even though I had literally found their contact information on the website for WV child medicaid provider directory). Well, we just moved here from another town and will find another provider. This one just lost a lot of money, since I have 2 kids with glasses, and one with glasses and contacts (the contacts we pay out of pocket for since they arent covered).
Everyone there was really nice.the service is always top notch.i am well pleased.
I will find another eye doctor. Tried to get a refill on contacts and was told I needed an appointment ...OK was then told they can’t see me for six months and I was pretty much out of luck and to go see someone else. I certainly will, that’s totally ridiculous. Offer me a spot on the waitlist... a short term amount of contacts to get me through... something. Have been going there for years you’ve lost a regular patient.
Amazingly kind staff and a great selection of frames. On my first visit, coming from Dunbar Eye Associates, this place left them in the stone age. Easy and relatively fast to the point that my girlfriend and her mom are going to start going here. They also accept CHIP insurance for those that have it, which is a huge plus!
I took my daughter for her eye exam for GLASSES only. They charged me a $70 fee for a contact lense exam. I advised them she has an exam next year covered under my insurance to get her contact lenses we were only interested in an eye glass exam. I still was billed the fee. They refuse to remove it because she wears contacts sometimes even though they provided no prescription Or contacts. I will find another optometrist. They were trying to add things to her glasses that insurance does not cover to increase the bill. Do not trust them!
I moved halfway across the country a couple years ago. In doing so, I was left without the optometrist team that has been handling my eye care for over 25 years. I went to the optometrist in Texas that my husband saw, and they were unable to correct my vision properly. After complaining about my poor vision for nearly a year I decided to visit Dr St Jean while I was in town visiting my family. Not only did she get my vision squared away on the first try, she was able to diagnose why my vision had deteriorated so much. Im absolutely satisfied with my treatment at Advanced Eye Care, and I plan to continue to do business with them despite being located so far away.
Drove their to order glasses and was told not taking new patients at all. They need to put that on there website so people wont call or drive their.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, I got the opto map and they made sure everything was fine. I got my contacts that I needed and I feel alot more confident about my eye health than I did before going
Does not accept Medicare false advertising that they do
Absoultely the best eye care experience I have ever had- extensive eye exam, patient staff- and they saved me over $400.00 and told me about an event in March that could save me more.....great place.
Dr.St.Jean and her staff have taken care of me for years, wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.
Very kind staff adjusted my Ray Ban sunglass frames (that I bought elsewhere) at no charge. Brenda did a great job and I will certainly be back when its time for an eye exam.
Very rude! 1st time there so I was asking questions of about how and why they do things like they do. The more questions I ask the nastier they got until I finally just got up and left.
Awesome place. Great service. Great prices.
Great staff, quick service and assesments
