My whole family brings our cars here! We know they are fair, and will do a great job. I took my care to a dealership who said I needed a 1500 dollar fix. Geared did not find anything wrong with my car and were honest about it. Also didnt charge me the diagnostic fee. Honest great service!

Geared Performance is a great shop to take your vehicle to. They have race ramps so it doesnt matter how low your car is, it will still make it on the lift without scraping. I got an alignment and corner balance done, my carbon fiber hood was damaged in the process. They spent over 1000$ out of their own pocket to get a brand new carbon fiber hood and gave me a free corner balance and alignment with the new hood. Only reason I brought up the damage is so future people reading this will know that this shop takes full accountability for their work and it shows in the results. They are very professional and responsible. Definitely recommend for any and all mechanical needs.Thank you Owner and Fred for helping with my G35.

I finally found a shop that won’t take advantage of a woman that doesn’t know about anything mechanical. No add ons, no unnecessary up charges, etc. This shop is honest, quick and has excellent customer service. I drive from the other side of town to take my car here for all my vehicle needs like oil changes and scheduled maintenance. They can do the services that the dealerships do for a fraction of the cost. I appreciated the clean shop and friendly family run business.

When it comes to automotive service, repair and performance, there are a few good shops in Northern Nevada, but one stands out as clearly the best. Geared Performance has become my most trusted support team throughout the last Solo 2 season and have been awesome in the process of developing next years car. From emergency repairs to planned projects, they have always come through. If you love your car, you will love these guys!

I reached out to Geared Performance for Airlift and Steeda suspension upgrades on my 2015 Mustang GT. They were incredible from start to finish. Cam and his crew showed great customer service. They were extremely professional with working through build options and fair pricing that could not be matched anywhere else. The attention to detail on their install is impeccable. The Airlift line management is super clean, neatly tucked, and organized well. I had a look at the undercarriage on a car lift and what I could see of the Steeda kit looked great. The handling of the vehicle is far superior than what it was before. If you want a shop that is highly experienced, trust worthy, professional, and just downright good at what they do then Geared Performance should be your choice. I will be going back to them for future mods and needs.

I have had work done on my two Fords here and I must say I am impressed. These guys genuinely want you to love your car the way they love cars. If you need any work done I highly recommend going to these guys first.

I recently had extensive work performed on my 1986 Ferrari 328 GTS. Cory is very capable and conscientious. The car is in the best mechanical shape since I purchased it in 2005. Not only did it take multiple attempts to even get someone to answer the phone, but then the person who did started off by stating he was the Owner as if I should feel privileged to have had the chance to converse with him. I felt he did not have much knowledge at all with the job I needed to have done on my Challenger and didnt seem to try and get someone with more experience or who could better respond to my inquiries. Despite all this I decided to give the benefit of the doubt and look deeper into their reputation on social media. I found personal accounts for whom I believe to be the Owners son where I find comments made by said Owner in regards to whom I believe to be a prior employee to be extremely unprofessional, immature, and honestly utterly childish! I may not know the back story but I can imagine from what I saw on other social media that this Clint they were referring to may have even been a partner at some point?? Either way Cam (Owner) was entirely out of line and completely sealed the decision for me to not only never entrust my vehicle in his hands but to ensure that non of my friends or acquaintances do either. Here is a screenshot of the manner in which the Owner of Geared Performance acts and again I would strongly urge anyone reading through their reviews to do their own investigating and you will most likely be shocked at the nature in which these people conduct business.

UPDATE FOR OWNERS RESPONSE: How he replied to my review shows how unprofessional the company is. He texted me the next day after I left the review and asked me what was wrong. Told him nothing was wrong. They took 4 weeks to replace and O2 sensor and kept saying something was wrong......ORIGINAL COMMENT: I usually dont review but this needs to be brought up for future customers. I took my Subaru in for dyno tuning, at first they told me a O2 sensor needed replaced, told them lets do it so we can get it tuned. After that they had my car for 4 weeks and during that time they would not communicate with me, I was always calling looking for an update, they kept telling me something else is wrong and dont know what it is.Had enough of the run around, so I picked up my car and went somewhere else and they had my car done tuning in a day and nothing was wrong with my car. Untrustworthy business in my opinion and do not recommend.

These guys really know there stuff. I have been coming to the Geared Performance crew for over 2 years and these guys have always helped me out and tackled any issue I had. The customer service is spot on. Not to mention the reliability of the custom pro tunes have always been A+. Every vehicle I’ve taken to them is still on the road today, running better than they did from the factory.

I recently brought my 2017 Mustang GT to Geared Performance to have some suspension / chassis work done. I had them install some BMR products to help tighten up the rear subframe and suspension. The parts chosen for this upgrade exceeded my expectations, as did the service rendered by the Geared Performance team! This was my first experience with this shop and I am completely sold. Before I made my appointment, Cam (owner) invited me to the shop for a tour. The shop was clean, well organized and everyone was very busy. When the appointment day came around for my upgrade, Cory had my car in and out quickly with a clean install!The shop is positioned as a “speed shop”, and they do great work in that regard. They also do general repairs and maintenance. I would not hesitate to bring my car here, even for the more mundane stuff.Cam is a ‘car guy’. Everyone in the shop are ‘car guys’ too. They all involve themselves in Motorsports in one way or another. Cam has a ton of experience with Mustangs (he owns one and tracks it). Subaru seems to be a favorite as well. That said, the day I toured their shop, there was a BMW, Subaru, Focus, Mustang, Corvette, and even a Ferrari in being worked on. I get the distinct impression that if it has 4 wheels, they’re passionate about it. Theyre more into ‘car culture’ overall than any 1 make or model. Check out their youtube videos of dyno days. I’m going to hit the next one for sure!I found Cam to be knowledgeable, highly ethical and easy to work with. He ‘consults’ rather than ‘sells’. He wants to know about your goals for your car and works with you within budget (and within reason). They will not push your car beyond the limit of its components either. You really get the sense that improvements made to your car are done responsibly, in the interest of your goals as well as within the safe limits of the machinery you have.Great shop! I brought my ‘56 Thunderbird in to have some mods made. ( new intake, carb & distributor)Cam and Cory really took care of business. The car picked up over 20 HP and 90 foot pounds torque. They rejetted the carb, Dyno tuned it and it runs great. Just got back from an 80 mile mountain trip and had power to spare and got 16.5 mpg. Thanks guys! I’ll be back!
