Do not do business with them! They mess with your car. All they want to do is upsell you on things that you DO NOT need. The manager likes to yell at their employees. No one wears a mask. Do NOT go here!

About ten years ago I needed help with my brakes while visiting in Reno. I ended up at this place and they did it all for free. Now, my daughter lives in Reno so on one of my visits I go to have my tires rotated and shocks checked. I arrived at three in the afternoon and Mr Bryan Holt immediately got my car up on the rack and again they did it all for free. Reno is blessed to have a shop like this that is doing more than just making money. I wish this owner would open a place in Sac. Bravo Big O.....

Brian was super helpful in helping me find tires that fit my needs. I explained I needed good quality with affordable pricing and he gave me just that after presenting a few options he thought I might like. Brian got me in and out in less than an hour which made the whole process even better as I thought I’d be stuck there for several hours. I’ll definitely be going there for all my oil and tire needs. Super helpful and friendly staff.

My jeep had a flat tire. Bryan the gentleman that was working there was so helpful. He was able to fix my tire without having to replace all four. He had great customer service and the shop was very clean. Thank you Bryan for saving the day and my money. I’ll be back soon.

Sorry had to change my review to reflect my most recent interactions. My tires I bought from there hop all over like they havent been balanced in over a year . Because they havent . You told me to pay for balancing when I purchased my tires there thru jay.. just cause he sold the place doesnt mean you dont have to honor big o services. Nice start out for a new owner is usually to make people happy not mad. Now i am not comfortable leaving my car there . So unless you want to fix the balancing while I watch and wait .. this review will remain.

This location has been my number 1 choice for alignment for an old car I had an my truck with excellent results. Reason why i decided to bring my newer car here instead of the dealership so I can save a couple of bucks this time but not my lucky day!!… this is the 3rd time I’m bringing my car back so they can correct the steering wheel alignment the way i had it before I brought it here. and to top it off my appointment was at 8am but I had to wait for an hour to get serviced because they had to service someone else even though they told me to bring it at 8am. They are very professional at what they do. One of the best services that there is and very economic.

Mid June we were going on a road trip, my brakes were squealing at slow stops so we decided to have them checked and replaced if needed. We made the mistake of visiting this Big O. They said they front brakes needed replacement and to resurface the rotors. So, we agree to have them do the repairs. We drove to Monterey and my brakes were still making noise at slow stops!! My first thought was maybe they just needed to be broken in? Took it back to Big O and the guys told me they were going to replace the pads they put on and replace the rotors. He put me down for Monday. I come in first thing Monday morning and the guy behind the counter was rude and said he didn’t have me on the schedule and that my car has no record of being there. 15 minutes of explaining to this jacko that I have my paperwork from a week prior having my brakes done he magically found my information. They had the vehicle for 9 hours!! Still squealing brakes. They were rude and dismissive and complaining about having to fix their own horrible work and warranty. When my husband finally got to talk to them the guy told Hume we aren’t putting on rotors we aren’t doing something we haven’t already done.Took it to a different shop to have them fix it. Rotors need replacement and there were 2 different pads upfront!! Seriously!! This is not ok! The tab on the brakes were missing and it was just a mess.We will never bring a vehicle here again and Id suggest that people find a better shop with mechanics who actually know how to work on vehicles!!

Big o tires has been my tire place for over 20 years. I love the work they do. They are always so helpful they know how to treat their customers to make you want to come back for all your cars needs . Love this place and the people.

I’ve purchased tires here in the past and the price was good and the employees were nice, but, when I came in today for tires, there was a different feel. The place has been remodeled and looks great and the employees at the desk were super nice, extremely knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Very happy with my purchase today. I highly recommend this business.

I went there to have my tires checked and I talked to the owner James Ellis. He treated me very fairly and like family. By far the best shop I’ve been to in the sparks area!

I’ve been doing business with this particular Big O Tires for over three years now. I bought my last set of tires from them, so I go back for regular rotate and balance. And 98% of the time I’ve had good service. The guys up front have always been helpful. I recently had my tires rotated. And Always they had my Jeep back to me quickly.

Great service, just remember to check your tire sizes..lol I had come in to get 4 new tires and an alignment done. When I ordered the tires I had an old set of wheels and tires on. I had purchased another set of wheels and tires and didnt realize the the wheels that I had ordered were for a 16 wheel and not the 17 that were currently on the vehicle. I was not able to use the tires that I had ordered due to my mistake. Luckily they had a different tire for the wheels I had on. Was in an out in no time. The technician (Kolton) took the time to explain and show me a few things that needed attention to be able to get the alignment done. Excellent group of guys there. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Made an appointment for an alignment at 8 am. I show up and they have another vehicle in the bay. They inform me that it’ll be an hour until they can get to me. What good is an appointment if it’s not honored? Bad business practice for sure. Les Schwab just got my business.

I had an 11:00 appointment to get tires. I arrived early to drop off my truck and walked inside with a guy who had a Mercedes. 1 of the 4 employees said we will be right with you. Mercedes guy was helped as he went in right before me. I was standing by the door and decided to move inside the showroom as people were coming in and out and I was trying to keep some distance. 2 more customers had come in and were standing were I originally was standing. 1 guy left and then a lady walked in. Now Ive been waiting about 15 minutes at this point and I could see that the employees were busy so I just waited. The lady that walked in asked the other customer if he was in line, he said yes but she could go in front of him. At this point I was getting mad as she walked right up to the counter and asked an employee to fill her tires and he walked out with her. Finally an employee asked if I had the Mercedes, I said no and that I was just trying to drop my truck off. A few more minutes went by and the employee who had just talked to me asked the other guy customer if he could help him. I was blown away!! The other customer, who came in after me, said he had an 11:00 appointment to get his tires replaced. I walked out and went to Les Schwab, who got me in without an appointment. From start to finish I was at Big O for 20 minutes with only 1 person out of 4 acknowledging me and then being ignored and walking out. I could see that the guys were busy, but the lack of communication to the customer was really bad and a waste of my time.

This is the smoothest and most efficient auto service store I have ever visited (Im 60), my service advisor Danny was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable of the products offered, I will certainly recommend him and this store to all of my friends and colleagues.

This big O does not honor all big o policies and specials (ie tire life alignments). According to their manager they have a new owner who chooses not to do so. I drove from Fernley before they told me this... on another previous day I took my car in for an 0800 appointment, complained because it was 0840 and they hadn’t even brought my car into the bay....just to have the tire balanced and rotated (I marked my tires with a permanent marker before bringing it in just to see what they do) and they basically took it back to make it look like they did something and gave it back to me in the same condition as it was brought in tires un moved... I do not suggest this location to anyone.

I go there for free running alignment check

Absolutely amazing service! Took my truck in for a tire rotation... they had me completely finished on my way in about an hour. That was following their huge line of automobiles on a Saturday afternoon. I was told to anticipate about 2 hours; I was utterly amazed when it was far less than that amount of time. They checked my brakes while my truck was up on the rack and reported all good news. They always provide spectacular service with a smile. I have been using this particular big on location for numerous years and rely on their Superior skills. They always take magnificent care of my trucks. I definitely recommend Big O Tire on Pyramid in Sparks.

Love Big-o tires. They always have free air during business hours and when another shop over tightened my lug nuts. Big-o loosened them just enough so I could change my brakes at home. They did this free of charge. I know where Ill be going when I need new tires or suspension work.

While Big O was not able to install the tires I required. I was treated like a valued customer. They went out of their way to explain what my vehicle required and I left with much more knowledge about my high performance car. I highly recommend this business as they treat people right. Thank you.

Fast, friendly, and in the know. They know what they are doing and they have decent prices. Took my vehicle in for a 4 tire balance and rotation due to vibration at high speeds, $45. Vibration stopped. The next day took my SUV back for an alignment, $89. Now, she rides like butter. I can take it back anytime over the next 6 months to get another alignment so long as I dont have any other work done such as replacing parts. I used to take my vehicle to Sears, but theyve shut down. Theyre alignment was good for 12 months for $20 more. Itd be nice if Big O Tires did that instead. Overall, I enjoyed taking my business to them.

JJ and his team are very quick and professional. They got me in same day, filled and rotated my tires, did an oil change, and alignment within a couple hours. This was in the middle of COVID where they cant operate at full capacity yet.

I came in for an alignment only. I had made an appointment. I did have to wait for a few minutes when I first walked in to get my car checked in but it wasnt a big deal and they were very busy. They were courteous and quick though once I checked in. The waiting room had enough seats for everyone which was nice. My car is driving so much better with the alignment.

I Been to this place twice since I moved here: first for tires, second for an alignment. Big o tires has been my to go place for years now. These guys at this location are very professional and kind. As soon as I entered I was greeted with a smile and professionalism. I highly reccomend this place to anyone.

I like doing business with This Big O Tires on Pyramid Way . I would just recommend that persons needing work done to schedule it two to three days in advance, cause this store is usually busy all the time . I was just lucky the day I took my wife,s Toyota 4 Runner in for a Wheel Alignment . Cause they had an opening and they had time to get the vehicle aligned, before the next scheduled person arrived for a wheel alignment .

Purchased a set of tires and when I went to pick up my car my passenger side window was left completely down, needless to say it was raining. Once their mistake was pointed out, their response was not apologetic and instead made it seem like that was normal. Leaving windows completely down with my personal belongings still in the car. Talk about careless customer service.

I cut a tire over the weekend, ended up buying four new ones from nearby Tire Rack, and needed them installed asap. Big O Tire staff processed me quickly and swapped out the old with the new very efficiently at a great price. During my attempts to find locations for this effort, I learned not many places do this anymore, let alone with a smile, great service, and price. Thanks Big O!

Staff was welcoming price was more than reasonable. I had my tires rotated and nitrogen filled. The job was completed fast. I had noticed a jack was improperly placed. This cause my side skirt to bend also removing paint. The manger claims it was already there and that rust is visible, theres some dirt from probably the jack but no rust. I hope to talk to the owner soon.

The service managers know their customers by first name. They are happy to answer any and all questions and strive to provide the best customer service experience possible to keep their customers returning. They will price match any other tire shop, and almost always have rebates or coupons on tires in order to give you the best deal.

Very friendly people here. Very helpful and quick to assist customers. I had an alignment check done for free with a coupon. I would have had it done in Fernley where I live but Purcell Tires wanted $45 for an alignment check and since my wifes clinic is in Sparks and close to Big O Tires, and since Big O would do the check for free with coupon I decided to book an appointment with Big O and I was pleased with their work. They quickly got me in and checked the car and showed me the alignment print out and went over everything and explained everything and luckily my car was within spec and didnt need alignment. Jared is a friendly and helpful technican. Im glad I went here.

I recommend this location to everyone. They are wise and happy to help. During business hours they have an air hose on the side of the building for filling up your tires - its free and its the only place in town that does that.

I recently took my car to Big O in Sparks and those guys are awesome. Mechanics are very efficient and knowledgeable. Customer service A+! HIGHLEY RECOMMEND!

I love this shop! I always get my tires here. The owner is JJ and he and his staff are always friendly and polite. They beat the price of all the other tire shops I went to, and even ordered the Michelin tires I wanted from the local distribution center. THEN, they went the extra step and drove over to the center to pick the tires up. Even more, they held on to the tires for over a week until I got paid. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Went in for a flat repair and, of course, the price was more than the last time. I know its not their fault as it happens everywhere you go, but, $31 - OMG! Overall, I guess Im satisfied with the service as the nail was removed and no more problem (at least until the next time I run over a nail/screw/bolt in this metal scrapyard of a town).

I bought new tires from here a few months ago and Im very happy with them. The guys here are so friendly, helpful and they go the extra mile for you. Thank you for everything!!
