Great experience. I was looking for a 40” BLAZE and they were back ordered, online and at every other local retailer. I was extremely fortunate when I was referred to Texas Star.They actually have a LOCAL warehouse. So, when they say they have it, they have it.The sales team was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I got the grill that I wanted at a fair price and it was delivered to my home the next day.

Three main reasons why you need to check them out...1 Customer service: They were courteous and friendly. Viet* was very nice and an a problem solver. They had to order our grill so he let me have their display until mine arrived. They also assembled mine and brought it to my house for free as they swapped my grill with theirs. You cant beat this.2 Deal Makers: they want your business and will make sure you find the best deal right there with them. Their deal was unbeatable but I had to call.3. They are local: I can drive there and get everything I need and help support a TX business.

I’ve owned a trouble free, hard working, reliable Napoleon natural gas grill for 20 years. It still works but I’ve been seduced by the enhanced features of the modern Napoleon Prestige 500 RSIBNSS-3. I did a lot of grill comparisons and for my needs and price point, this Napoleon grill became my choice. I want a grill that will last at least another 20 years and this one has a lifetime warranty for critical components. Price is important to me and so I’ve searched for sales since September until I finally came across a sale at Texas Star Grill Shop on Louetta near Champions Drive. Didn’t know they were there until a Google search gave me a clue. Great store. Good grill selection and they had my unit in stock. Lots of tools, toys and grilling supplies too. Very nice. Anyway, the price included assembly and delivery. Outstanding. The grill arrive on time as promised. Now here is where working with Texas Star Grill Shop really paid off. The literature that came with the grill requests the buyer to contact the manufacturer should any manufacturing issues be discovered at initial inspection. Fair enough but I wanted service now. I found one issue but had a number of questions about the grill ... so I called the store, spoke to my sales rep and got an immediate call back from the tech at their warehouse. With his help, I found and plugged in the connector to one of the knobs a bit tighter so that it would illuminate. Apparently things can move during shipping. He explained the mechanical functionality of the strikers and gave me a few hints on the efficient operation of the rear burner. I could get this from the manual or online but he was available and made the effort to ensure my questions were answered. Nice. Customer service that worked. Great price. Promises kept. Great grill. Outstanding experience. Glad I shopped there.

Great store - I could spend an hour just looking at everything here. The staff are very friendly and help if you ask for it. Huge range of rubs, pellets and other accessories. They even stock great quality meat.If youre looking for a grill, they have heaps in stock, including the Traeger Ranger - which looks awesome for heading outdoors for a picnic.I also love the range of Outdoor kitchens they stock. Im looking forward to buying one once we move into our own house!I enjoy heading down on a weekend before I start grilling. I look at all the rubs / marinades to get ideas of what Ill put on the pellet grill/smoker.Belinda Carlisle was right, Heaven is a place on Earth! :P

I bought a Weber Genesis II NG grill from Amazon... not for the price point (same price at the store) but for a convenience of quick few days delivery. Once I received the shipment, I was advised by my contractor not to hook it up by myself for the sake of safety... so, I started looking around for a local shop to find a qualified person to hook it up for me... and I found Texas Star...Surprisingly, not only their price is very much competitive, but also they will deliver AND ASSEMBLE the grill for you FOR FREE... so, I decided to support the local instead and bought a SABER (a little bit better grade than Weber... and of course more expensive) from VIET, very nice salesperson. Viet also gave me a number to ISMAEL to come to my house and connect the NG line for me.Amazon charged me $50 to return UNOPENED BOX grill... dawn it...But, to spend a little bit more to get a better grill and to meet up with some good people and a good local business was well worth it.Delivery was on time... and Ismael showed up on time... and I did grill the same evening... in the middle of August... I know, its crazily hot... but we were so please!!!Keep up the the good work Viet... Thank you so much.Dylan

Let me say that I never leave a review, but becusae of the exceptional Customer Service and Sales Help we received from Jared and the staff at the Spring location I felt compelled to do so. We traveled four hours to purchase a particular Napolean Grill that was not available anywhere else in the State. All questions were answered and all features and benefits were explained. The whole process was the best buying experience Ive had in a long time!! We would absolutely recommend doing business with Texas Star Grill Shop-Spring, Texas.

I purchased a pellet grill and an accessory from them. I was satisfied with the price I paid. They delivered the grill and set it up quickly. The accessory came in a week later. I went to pick it up and found it to be the wrong one. They ordered the correct one which took another week, to which I had to go pick up. I was dissatisfied with their customer service. They never apologized for the mistake. It takes me 2 hours round trip to make it to their store along with gas. When I spend close to $2k on a grill, I expect first class service. I work two jobs and six days a week, so my free time and money are extremely valuable to me. This store did not treat me as such. I could have gotten the same customer service from an online retailer and not had to drive (and waste my time as much). I will be less likely to shop there in the future.

Very helpful. Great prices. Surprised to find that their prices competed with anyone else. Lots of accessories in stock. Provide free delivery if needed. Even have meats to grill, wood, and great advise. Dont hesitate to ship there. Wish Id have stopped in earlier.

An amazing place!

Got a fantastic deal on a XL Big Green Egg with the table included + indirect cooking + cover + a ton of charcoal and other accessories. This store has it all, season, meat, grills, gas grills, kamado joe, smokers, and so on and so forth. Pretty good sellers gave me time to look around, answered all my questions and free delivery in the same day. Totally worth it.

Buyer beware! Bought a Weber grill and after a year we ran into an issue where the main burners will not stay lit. Tried getting help from the store but they would not help AT ALL!! They say to call Weber. After two calls to Weber, multiple trouble shooting sessions, a new regulator and a different tank it still will not stay lit. Dont waste your money buying from a grill shop thinking you are going to get personalized service. Once they get your money they are done. We could have bought a better grill for a third of the price at a big box store!! Feeling very ripped off!!!!

I bought a wood pellet smoker this past Saturday and was looking for the person perfect recipe for smoking chicken. I came across a recipe from Hardcore Carnivore. I wanted to order from their site but I would not of had the seasoning in time so I started to look at their dealers page.They listed Texas star grill shop as a distributor of their products and I plug that address into the GPS. Man this place is like a candy store for are into grilling or BBQ.They had everything I needed space wise, wood pellet wise and even hardware Wise. They even carry Wagyu meat!! I highly recommend this place if you need anything that has to do with grilling or smoking.I drove all the way from Conroe Texas to this place and will definitely be back.

This was the worse customer experience I have ever experienced. I know they advertise that they have all of your grilling needs. They have all of the ceramic egg, wood pellet, komoto whatever yuppy cookers you could ask for. They do not have a single BBQ Pit. I drove 2 hours to get my Xmas present and a place called Texas Star Grill Shop does not have a traditional grill? This blew my mind. Then when I asked salesman where the traditional grills are he looked at me like I was crazy. I should have known something was up when the first thing out of his mouth was what is your budget. I dont think it is hard to have a couple of traditional grills to choose from. Or perhaps change your advertising to having all of your yuppy grilling needs.Very disappointed
