I ordered a chair that I found would not fit in my apartment so canceled the order with the store manager the next morning. It is almost two months later and my refund has still not be issued to my credit card company.NOW I have waited nearly a full hour to have my telephone call to the store answered. (The music must have been designed to cause callers to hang up!) I will avoid shopping at Morris in the future.
Went to purchase a rocker/recliner yesterday at the Springdale store and I found the same exact one at another store same sku# brand, color everything and was told they would match the price which Morris Home Furniture was asking $749.99 and the exact same rocker recliner was $568.00, Brandon the manager agreed to match the price but said I must buy the extended warranty in which I didnt need nor want to purchase so Brandon said if I didnt purchase the extended warranty the cost of the rocker/recliner would be the original price of $749.99 which wasnt fair to me as a customer as he originally agreed to match the price. Brandon then became very disrespectful and unprofessional and told me if he matched the price and I didnt purchase the extended warranty that I would be purchasing the brand new in a box rocker/recliner AS IS and I would not get the factory warranty and there would be no warranty which is called discrimination as another customer could purchase this brand new rocker/recliner and receive the factory warranty but because another store was $181.00 cheaper than Morris Home Furniture and Brandon agreed to match the price which online is a price match guarantee he treated me this way and who would purchase a brand new rocker/recliner with his rules and exclusions. This was not fair to me as a buyer to be treated in this manner in which I felt discriminated and left the store. I did call corporate office and am awaiting a phone call back. Suggesting Morris Home Furniture take a look at the unprofessional and disrespectful sales people and managers as this is not good business for anyone looking to purchase from this store.
The salesperson Don was fabulous. Great working with him. He helped us find a great deal on a dinner table set. I will do more business at this establishment.
SCAM.I went in looking for a couch.salesperson Kenneth helped me through the process and tried to sale additional items which I purchased a lamp and stated that was it. When going through contract and purchase he first had me sign a document that didn’t have my name on it. I had to notify him. I then signed for agreeing for the couch and lamp and a protection package I actually never consented to but said I could get it back as a credit if I didn’t use it. I then receive a invoice this evening for a coffee table, two end tables and $400 protection package I never signed up for on top of the items I actually bought. So disappointed. I am cancelling the entire order. It’s sad you try to buy furniture these days and get up sold and tricked. Be warned.

I purchased a bed from Morris Home Furniture at the Cincinnati location. It was delivered Friday morning, September 3.Almost immediately the 2 delivery men let me know there were bolts missing and they couldn’t put my bed together. They said Customer Service would reach out to me and they left. I didn’t even know they left. I was waiting for paper work or something to sign but when I looked out my window I saw they were gone.Big complaint here!!! They left my security door downstairs wide open and they left a big mess in the shared driveway from the unpacking of boxes that I had to clean up, including a tool needed to put the bed together!!I reached out to my salesman, Thaddeus through email because that is the only contact given. (You can’t ever call the store and talk to a real person!! EVER!! Always a tree of choices to choose from.) He did email back to say he was aware and that Customer Service would be in contact with me. That was delivery day.I heard nothing by the end of the day so I proactively called Customer Service. What a ridiculous process that was! Phone tree from hell and on hold for 30 minutes!Finally a real live person, Rusty. He listened to my plight and then put me on hold while he “reached out to the manufacturer” for the needed parts. He returned to say there was no answer and he left a message and he would follow up with an email and get back with me when he heard back.It is now Wednesday September 8th. I have heard nothing!!I have called Customer Service twice since then, on hold 45 minutes as I waited to board a plane and had to hang up. Then over an hour the next time where I again had to hang up.My sales guy isn’t emailing back at this point. My last email to him was a request for a contact number for a Manager, go figure.I’ve been on line, on and off today, filing complaints everywhere. I’m on vacation! Not what I wanted to be doing on vacation. I wanted my bed put together before I left and here I am dealing with the incompetence and failure of customer service with Morris Home Furniture on my vacation!To say I am dissatisfied would be an understatement. In this day and age, considering the importance of good reviews, you would think this company would be more on top of their game when it comes to customer satisfaction and “reach ability”.I can’t remember the last time I had such a hard time getting anything resolved.
DO NOT COME SHOP HERE!!! We purchased a sofa and 4 pieces of coffee table set. We only received the sofa and 2 tables for the coffee table. They lost the other 2 pieces in the process of delivery… how does that even happen? It’s been 3 months now and we still do not know what is going on with my other belongings. They won’t give us a refund either or let us return anything! This has been the WORST furniture shopping we have ever experienced. The GM name is India, and she does not care for customers! She always passes her job to her sales department. Never going back here and I will always tell people do not come shop here
They had TERRIBLE customer service. I went to Morris Home/Ashleys back in June, 2021. They misrepresented having everything we ordered in stock (table, couches, and bed set). The first time they came they dropped off the a table in terrible condition. It took them a month to successfully replace the table (with a couple unsuccessful visits). My husband has been on the customer service line numerous times waiting over a half an over every time. The delivery people use the same customer service line as you do.They messed up our delivery order nearly every time. We had pieces of our bedframe laying in our bedroom for two weeks because Morris failed to order screws with the bed. We called frequently without much assistance. It took driving to the actual Morris store multiple times a week to make ANY PROGRESS with this company.It is now 2 months and we are still waiting on the items we ordered, which the sales person confirmed were all in stock prior to July 31, 2021.DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING HERE. Terrible consumer service & furniture is suspect....Did not receive a single piece of furniture not broken the first time.I would give them less than one star if I could.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE - weve purchased furniture from Asley/Morris before and not had the terrible experience weve had recently. Firstly, they changed order numbers on us at some point so we couldnt go online to check progress. Then, on the scheduled delivery date, they simply did not show up. When we did finally receive our furniture it was just a partial delivery and the couch had a broken zipper, which the delivery people were very careful to hide from us. We fixed this on our own.Then, delivery on the final piece of our furniture, a two-piece nesting coffee table, just kept getting moved out further and further. When it finally did arrive, they only brought one of the two pieces of the table. We refused the partial shipment fearing we would never see the second piece. Well, its been over two weeks and we havent heard a word. Ive tried calling customer service (interminable hold), calling our salesman (mailbox is full) and emailing both of these entities with absolutely no response. I want my coffee table!
What a waste of time, energy and MONEY!I have never experienced such a bad customer service like this, first they tell you a complete different thing when you are buying, once you already paid, you can never get in touch with anyone again. Nobody answers the phone in the store, the online customer care take 45 minutes just to answer a simple question, nobody takes responsibility for anything and the only one who suffers is the customer. I can’t emphasize enough DO NOT BUY ANYTHING IN THIS STORE!!! We had to return almost every piece we bought because all of it had details on it, were damaged or were different from what we order!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! The manager India couldn’t care less, and Brandon who was the one incharged of “helping” us resolve our multiple problems, including the one with table we bought that was supposed to arrived in July and once we paid for it the availability changed to September, he ended charging us more and lower my credit score 58 pointsss!!!!!! What I don’t get is why this store still has a 3.6 stars if all the comments I’m reading are 1 star and that because you can’t put no stars, and how is that the name of India and Brandon still popping up and the store has done NOTHING about it.
My husband and I purchased a recliner and a new couch from this company and the clerk told us that our furniture will be delivered the next week. But guess what? Nothing!! They didn’t delivered our furniture at all. The employees didn’t tell us to go online to check our status of our order. The site said that our furniture won’t be delivered until August! Unbelievable! I’m probably going to get our money back and find a different company to find furniture. Sorry Morris! You lost my respect!
Worst experience. In the store everyone was super polite, the salesman was great with us, everything went down when the furniture started to arrive, every piece I bought had details on it, half of them I have to returned it, and my dining table was expected to be in stock by august 4th, it is august 9th and nobody can get in touch with the manufacture, can`t get a clear answers from the online customer care (which take longer than expected to respond every message), if you try to call nobody answer, not even the manager of the store can get a response, they just tell me that the only thing I can do is wait.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Three months after our original delivery date we have finally started to receive items. Only to receive items that are unboxed and damaged upon arrival. Today takes the cake with a damaged item that we didnt even order-they placed an order for the wrong dresser. Customer service is a JOKE-Ive spent more time on hold than I have hours awake. This is an updated review for 2021. Have been a long time customer and always happy with purchases until now. Merchandise on the floor was very attractive, purchased and given delivery on partial order. Order showed up dirty, dust covered and fabric was dirty, actually had to literally clean everything and then found damage on a number of pieces (delivered in a Ryder truck with no protection on any of the items) Had to argue with a manager to get damaged items replaced. Received some of the replacements...not all. Still waiting on a diningroom table (that has never been delivered) and two chair replacements purchased OVER 3 months ago. Not their finest hour.
Bad service at the store. Then no one answers the phone when you call. Cheap furniture low quality. There is literally nothing good to say... horrible experience.
I loved working with Don! It was clear he was watching us but it never felt like hovering and he was extremely knowledgeable. He never made me feel pressured and was so patient with my card issues. He was very kind and very very helpful. I was very over whelmed by the process of furniture shopping but he was awesome. I will definitely be coming back to him in he future when Im ready to furnish the rest of my home.
If I could give a 0 I would. You all dont care about your customers or satisfaction. My sales person was amazing but dealing with delivery and so called customer service is a joke. I am going on 2 weeks of delivery mess ups and now have to wait 4 more weeks for it to be corrected. I will never recommend anyone to deal with your company ever!
Worst customer service ever. I bought a house full of furniture when we moved into our new home at the end of 2019. Within 8 months we had issues with two items - the sectional sofa set that I bought and with my office desk. The recliner mechanism on my sofa set stopped working and my office desks top surface started cracking up. Also noticed the electric outlet box they gave under the desk was actually broken and they did some patchwork on it and dropped it without even letting us know. I called them in June 2020 for service and then started the actual nightmare. They took the service request and we didnt receive any response for couple of months. Everytime I try their customer support line, I had to wait for at least 90 minutes and then when someone comes on the excuse was COVID causing issues. I dont buy that for a minute. Here I am in May 2021 almost an year after raising the repair request with no resolution. At the moment, I have been waiting on the line for 40 minutes trying to find the status and hopefully I will be fortunate enough to speak to some one. Im not holding my breath… this is absolutely ridiculous and I would really like to explore options to sue these guys for absolutely horrible customer service on a product thats under warranty.
If I could give them a zero I would. I ordered a dresser and mirror on 12-05-20. As of today I have not received even a phone call. I emailed the salesman no return email. I called the store at the beginning of January was put on hold 3 times finally a extremely rude person answer the phone. I asked about my order he said it did not come in yet. Then hung up on me. I have called at least once a week since I have ordered the dresser. Any time I call the store it rings then a message comes on and says we are not accepting phone calls at this time. Please send us a email. Did that and no response. Received a email today regarding my order. This is the first contact since 12/05. Called the store same message, no email response. Checked the status of the order on line. Originally was 3 days has now turned into to 3 months. The estimated order arrival is now 03/01/21. 3 Months and nothing. NEVER AGAIN will I shop here !!
Absolutely with worst customer service experiences I have ever had in my life. I called customer service I waited hold for over 30 minutes twice. I was forced to call because they did not return calls. I could not get anyone in authority to talk to, only clerical staff who are not able to resolve your problems.This is day 5 and I still have not had my issues resolved. Supposedly in 48 hours a manager will call me back and in 72 hours repair vendor will call me back to set up a time to come out and attempt to resolve our issues again. I purchased 3 sofas, 2 chairs and a dining room set. They could care less if they bring you damaged goods or not.On the positive, their sales people are very nice and knowledgeable when you are shopping.
Don was so helpful. We really appreciated his knowledge about furniture. He listened to what we were looking for and was patient as we decided. Delivery times are long for almost all furniture right now so now we wait! Grateful that the process to order was so enjoyable.
The store is very well laid out and not overwhelming to shop. Everyone is very helpful too. CJ was amazing, super kind, and helpful! She was very knowledgeable and really seemed to care about helping me find the perfect couch. I will definitely be a returning customer!
UPDATE: After talking to five different people who all told us different, conflicting information, our couch was finally delivered. HOWEVER the couch was delivered without any wrapping and they told us at the store that it would be wrapped. Two of the legs had wood noticeably chipped off and one of the cushion connector straps was torn off. The delivery people (who did not speak English so it was hard to communicate) tried to tell us the damage happened at the warehouse. However we stepped on the truck looking for the strap and found the strap plus the pieces that chipped off the legs. So they lied. We learned from the five people we talked to last week that they use a third party for delivery and basically have no oversight. I would suggest they consider changing that or vetting their delivery companies a little better. Now that it is all said and done I would not order from here again.EDIT TO REVIEW: I am dropping my review from 5 stars to 1. When we first visited Morris we ended up buying a sectional from Ashley next door (they are connected). After the delivery got pushed out FOUR times with no good explanation, we cancelled and went back to Morris because we have such a good experience with the sales person. On June 9th we went back, had the same sales person and he was fantastic. We ended up purchasing a couch off the sales floor because we did not want anymore delivery issues. (Seriously we had already purchased two different couches before this attempting to get one before the end of June!) We were told the couch would arrive the following week. We got text messages the day before with the delivery time. We took off work to be home. JUST to receive a call one hour into the delivery window saying our couch did not arrive to the delivery location?!?!?! And now we have to wait another week. We have been calling the store and no one has answered. We specifically bought this couch because it did not have to be ordered. It is literally AT THE STORE! I don’t even trust that it will arrive next week. This is ridiculous. We are tired of false promises and poor communication.PREVIOUS REVIEW: This review is specifically for Jonah. He provided EXCELLENT custom service. We did not end up finding what we were looking for but he showed us around the whole store and helped us think through the options. You could tell he really cared about us being happy with what we purchased versus just trying to make a sell. I would definitely come back to work with him again. If you can, ask for Jonah! Cancelling my order right now on the phone. Ive been waiting MONTHS for this 1 item. Couldve bought online from another vendor for around the same cost and made a mistake. The item isnt even in stock and wont be for another month at least. No one has called or emailed to tell me about the delay. What a joke of a business.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am understanding to lack of inventory, and estimated dates being pushed back. EVERYONE in the economy is dealing with this issue, my expectations are set appropriately. After 6 months of monitoring the estimated date for pickup, the order disappeared. No contact from the store. My paperwork proves they have my valid number on file for the order. After hours on the phone with corporate (because the store number just rings with no answer) they were so confused on what happened with the order. Corporate took it upon themselves to sit on hold to speak with the store. Hours she said. Hours to get ahold of the store for them to say they do not do store pick up, delivery only (my paperwork clearly says pick up at AHS Cin Tri-County. Half of my order unassembled was delivered to the showroom, just sitting in the back. I then decide to go to the store to demand answers (the recommended course for action from the Corp rep) and general mgr (Megan) assures me they will comp the delivery (which I didnt need in the first place, so not really any comp to all the issues I have been through) for the coming Saturday after the last part of my order set to arrive at the warehouse on Wednesday that week. Saturday rolls around with NO delivery and of course my order is closed out so I cant check their website for updates and no one answers the phone. Get ahold of General manager via email after days and she confirms delivery for the full order on Friday of the next week. Stay home from work all day with again NO delivery. 3 emails later I am getting a phone call (Andrew) to tell me the second half of my order would not be in until August, because the order was refunded and placed again in May putting me at the end of the line for delivery after already waiting since December. What a miserable amount of run around with empty promises.

I am tired of waiting online to talk to someone. They also told me my table would be here first of Feb, so I gave my old table away. Since they didn’t call, I called them and after 45 min on hold I was told my table was now on back order. An email would have been nice. I am now on hold again with them, it had been 21 min and still waiting.
Do not buy from this store unless you’re willing to wait forever. I ordered my table on 11/27/20 and as of today, 4/15/21, I still don’t have it. The first set that arrived was not only broken down the middle of the table but was the wrong set (I ordered counter top height table and it was regular). The broken table is still sitting in my garage because they said they will pick it up when they deliver the correct table. I have received the run around constantly from them saying I’m first in line to get it. However, the only updates I’m getting are emails stating it’s pushed out even further (probably 5 of those emails so far). I’m extremely unhappy with this entire experience and will never buy from them again nor will I ever recommend this place. Horrible experience!!!
Customer service is horrible, they don’t answer phones and take their sweet time responding to emails. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service at Morris Furniture in Springdale Ohio! We have waited six weeks for a pillow we ordered at time of purchasing king size adjustable beds with mattresses. Note $6,000 purchase! We were told the 30 day warranty would be null and void if we didn’t purchase “their” pillows with order. Note: six weeks later order still not in.When bed delivered only one pillow delivered they said other pillow on order.Been down to store twice finally said I’ll take the same pillow we had delivered.... not! Different pillow arrr! Now have to make a 30 minute trip again to get correct pillow.
Fantastic selection, Customer service was over the top. I was offered additional savings if I could postpone my purchase by 2 days. I appreciated the update.

We bought a couch in store on Novemeber 8th 2020. The salesman Brandon told us that the couch will be in stock in 20-25 weeks. Last week 3/2/2021 I received an email to check our date that the couch will be in stock. It said 3/23/21. I check today 3/13/21 and it says it will not be in stock until 6/02/21. This is completely unacceptable. After warranty, this couch cost $4100. I will never under any circumstances shop here again. This was a total waste of time and money. Who is to say they wont extend the June 2021 fulfillment?
Morris Furniture in Cincinnati has the worse customer service department I have ever experienced in a furniture store. No one answers the phone. They provide you with a business card and say it’s best to reach them by email...guess what...they don’t respond to those either. Also, I noticed they announce sales at every season or holiday. Don’t be fooled...I have visited this store monthly for the last 4 months and the prices have remained the same.Management is horrible as well; almost none responsive. I waited 4 months for my bedroom suit to be delivered and it was the wrong size. My sales rep ordered the wrong size. Since they don’t respond telephonically, I had to go into the store to speak to someone. I asked the manager to have the bed picked up. This was was on a Wednesday. He said he’d work on it. Well....it’s Saturday, I called the number on his business card. No answer and no prompt to leave a message. I have emailed, my husband has called...still no response. After this, I will never shop at Morris Home again.Buyers beware. Haverty’s has them beat hands down.
I went in the store on April 12 and put $1000 down to hold a bed set. The bed was in stock was just waiting on the dresser and nightstand to come in, in 2 weeks I paid the remainder of everything a couple weeks later and was told that was still waiting on dresser and nightstand and could not deliver the bed separately. So I waited a week and called back because I never got a receipt or order number to track the remaining stuff. Once I got the order number and checked the items it said nothing would be in stock until a June 9th. I called the store and was told they would have the sales rep call me back. 8 hrs later no call back called again and spoke to the sales representative and was told that he would be calling another store to see if he could get a set from one of their orders he said he would call he back before the end of the day. No call back. I called again yesterday and was told a manager would call me back. After 5 hrs I called the store again and spoke to a manager and ended up getting a refund. It is completely ridiculous that I was putting $1000 to hold supposedly in stock furniture and then get told I have to wait until June 9th. Either by us telling the rep that we needed the furniture by June because we have family coming up he lied to us or they sold the bedset out from under us which is a good possibility since we decided not to buy a $5600 couch from there and a mattress and box spring. They probably didn’t care at that point because we weren’t spending over $10,000 at that point. I will not support this store again. I will shop elsewhere.
My sister and I ordered a sofa for our new home at the beginning of October 2020. We were told it would be delivered at the the end of January. Not surprisingly, it was delayed until the beginning of April, pushed to the end of April and now AGAIN to the end of May. I am beyond frustrated by the lack of communication with each delay and now it will be OVER six months by the time we get this dang thing. (If it doesn’t get delayed again) I understand and respect that there are delays due to the pandemic, but when this company has had our money for this long without us receiving the product OR even just the slightest bit of communication, this is seriously frustrating. We’ve called customer service only to be told “yep that’s right” in reference to the expected in stock date online and “no we can’t call or email you with updates”. Really?!?! Since everyone is upset about delays, you’d think they would be more concerned....I hope anyone that orders from here will take note that it could be MONTHS by the time they receive their furniture. Get ready to wait.

Very disappointed with service. Back in September we had furniture delivered and in the process of bringing mattress in the house the delivery guys broke our thermostat. Called customer service to file a claim believing this issue would be resolved quickly considering we had no air conditioning. Had to call HVAC for repairs. After several attempts to be refunded the money we had to spend,still nothing from 3rd party or Morris Furniture. Morris Furniture should be held accountable instead of the third party delivery service they recommended to us. Here we are 7 months later and this problem still has not been resolved over a $105 claim ....RIDICULOUS!!!!
Morris is a SCAM!!!! my friend and I have both made purchases from Morris. NEVER AGAIN. Run and run fast and far away! You wont get your purchase on time. It will be damaged. you wont get all of it together. They have NO clue and good luck getting a hold of anyone! JOKE!!
This was literally the worsed furniture buying process I have ever went through. There was absolutely no communication at all when I was told I would get a phone call no one ever did so I had to call. I PAID for them to put the furniture together well the second time I received furniture since the first time it was damaged I had to. I will not be recommending anyone to buy from you and will be taking my business elsewhere when I go to buy the ottoman that goes with the sectional. Since multiple places sell the same sectional. Would give a zero if possible.
DISAPPOINTING. Picked up Kitchen Table and chairs-- missing parts/damage on chairs, paid for the warranty but when Customer Service was called the soonest they can look at this is 30 days or more, These chairs need to be replaced for the money that I spent. Refuse to replace. Going without chairs for awhile. NOT HAPPY Would not recommend.

A service person finally came to look at the furniture at my home and I was told the parts would be shipped to my home DIRECTLY in 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS. This was in EARLY November and I still do not have the parts. I have spent many HOURS on the phone with customer service trying to fix this problem and they have been no help and given me FALSE information. I have not had usable bedroom furniture since JULY. I will NEVER buy from Morris Furniture again. They have my order number and information.I have 2 pieces of defective furniture that I have been trying for MONTHS to be repaired and have had no help from customer service. They won’t answer the phone. They have not attempted to fix my problems. I will NEVER buy furniture from here again and I do not recommend that anyone does.
My experience with Morris had been a terrible one and it only got worse. After all the trouble I had my table was delivered damaged. The ONLY nice thing I can say about Morris Furniture is that Jonah @ Springdale gave me EXCELLENT customer service. I am getting a new table within 7 days. I give the company 2 stars only because they employ Jonah. Id give Jonah 5 stars!!
Ordered custom couch and two recliners as well as an entire bedroom suite on 8/30/20 and STILL have not received it. Stopped getting calls returned and get nothing done after sitting on hold for hours with customer service. Never shopping here again. Please take the reviews of everyone else to heart. I wish I had and saved myself several months of frustration
My husband and I purchased a $3,500 large sectional with power reclining seats from Morris on 8/31/19. The couch was delivered 9/19/19. We enjoyed our couch and the seating it provided for our guest for LESS THAN nine months! One seat in the middle of our couch stopped reclining in June 2020. Not only did it stop reclining, but the head portion of the chair that is electronically adjustable is now stuck in the forward position making it impossible for anyone to sit in the chair comfortably. We went from having a sectional that seats six to a sectional that only seats five. We also have a HUGE eye sore in our family room with a ridiculous looking chair as part of our nice sectional. When we purchased the couch in August 2019, we also purchased the warranty Morris offers. I filed a claim with the warranty company, GBS Enterprises, on June 3, 2020 regarding the power issue. GBS Enterprises advised me to contact Morris because the couch was owned for less than a year and should’ve still been under the manufacturer’s warranty. When I contacted Morris, I was told they would send a service technician out to assess the couch. I then received an email response from GBS Enterprises on June 11, 2020 telling me a service technician would set an appointment up with me in 5-7 business days. The service technician came July 8, 2020 and discovered that the couch was wired improperly, which caused the wire to become severed over time whenever the chair was reclined and unreclined. The technician then said a replacement part would be ordered and that it should arrive via mail in 3-5 business days. The technician also stated that once the part was delivered to our address, we would need to call the company to set up a time for installation. No part ever came. No contact from Morris or GBS Enterprises initiated. My husband and I have called both companies for MONTHS trying to get our couch fixed and receive empty promises of gift cards, the replacement part being ordered, the part being in stock and then having a failed, etc. We have turned to the BBB due to Morris and GBS unable to satisfy our wants of a working couch! COVID-19 has inconvenienced many, but these problems go deeper than this pandemic. We have never experienced so many communication issues, lies, and let downs from a company.
It was ok there just wasnt enough furniture that I care for or what I was looking for .except for one couch that it.
I ordered on 6/28 and still have not gotten my order. Twice they canceled delivery and changed the delivery date. Customer care does not answer. Three different times Ive called in the last month in a half, and was just on hold where no one ever answered. Today I get a voicemail that it is rescheduled once again due to my mattress not being in. Then I get an email and voicemail giving me a three hour window time when it will be delivered after their voicemail. Im on hold with customer care right now, its been 28 min and 19 seconds with no answer. My last review they responded in here to write their customer service. I did that and still have yet to get a reply. At this point I want to cancel. How do you do that when they dont answer though??? Never will I go there againFacts!!!!!!!
My furniture was received broken and soiled. The quality of this furniture appeared that children put it together in their garage. Horrible! Sales rep did good.
This location delivered me all damaged goods and i reported them back couple going into store and on the phone and even store manager josh was connected with me through email about damaged goods.. he was promised me for replacing the items that damaged.. till now I didn’t see any process on this damaged.. and there was a person called franklin store/sales associate was helped me while purchasing my furniture he did asked me pay for protection for my furniture, there morris furniture people never showed up and fixed my damaged goods. No response store manager josh. I would recommend not to busy with this furniture shop
My warranty request was never answered. You can only submit the request online. There’s no customer service reps to talk to. My couch was broken while they moved it in during Covid and it’s never been fixed.
Still waiting on our furniture to be delivered 7 months after purchase. Purchased on 11/1/20 and delivery date estimate is now middle of May, even though salesperson said early January. Extremely frustrating that we are not able to cancel the order. Almost impossible to get ahold of anyone, and not helpful when you do. Will NEVER buy furniture here again.
To the highest mangement of the company! Do you want to wait 90-120 days for a bed to be put together? This is the most terrible experience we ever had with a merchant and we have to call the police today to file a police report for a legal proceeding next because the way they handle our issue is such a scam! RUN!!!!! Read all the reviews below. Do not go here This is the most horrible experience I’ve ever had set aside Sprint or Time Warner. They are truly up there with them. I bought my furniture in July of 2020.I bought the last floor model they had and was OK with that because my wife really wanted it. Three weeks out on delivery no big deal, end of August comes. They send out half the sofa and it was a L shape outdoor sectional. They lost the other piece and could not find it and said they would get it back out by early September. September rolls around they push it out to November and I try to get a hold of them to cancel the order so we could get another set. On the phone for 30 minutes, there is nobody to answer. Very very hard to get a hold of anybody. Luckily for me I had the sales person personal number as she gave it to me and was very great. She said she would get a credit. Off to Yellowstone for two weeks, get back in early October and still no credit, don’t have time to drive down there and nobody answers any phones. I disputed the charge and 30 days later still do not have the money after they said they would credit it. UPDATE....They said they could not credit me for the pieces that I had because it’s been too long so now I have a half of a sectional. We finally get them to agree to come pick the stuff up but that took 30 days. 3 weeks ago they said they would credit me in five business days and it’s been 12 business days already and they are saying we cannot credit you for the partial order that was never sent out we have to have the whole order back. November 6 they are supposed to pick up and they would give me a credit sometime next week after they have all the merchandise after saying they would give me the $1500 back worth of stuff they never delivered. Again, I have over four hours invested in trying to return this product. I am calling the attorney general and writing bad reviews everywhere I can to let buyer beware this should not take this long and be this hard of a process. Stay away from Morris home furniture unless you see an easier path Then what I’ve seen. I’m actually having my attorney review the visa agreement documents to see what I can do to further help the consumers. Check my reviews, I do not write bad reviews on companies but this company Hass to go. I do not want you to have the same experience me and many customers below did. Good luck in your shopping.

Very disappointed in the service of my purchase. Was scheduled for the delivery today 1/12/21. Received a call that it wont be delivered until the 14th. The item was in the Outlet store, but C/S said it was being transferred to the Springdale store. It shows on tracking that it would be delivered today and on its way. Doesnt seen they know what is going on! The gentleman that helped me get the couch was great with his service. If and when I receive my furniture this will be the las time I deal with this company.
Stay far away.I bought a $1500 table that came cracked. Customer care for this company literally never answers the phone. I have been on the phone waiting for the next representative for hours and never actually spoken with anyone. Sales team said they would get me in touch with customer care, but it has been weeks and now they are ignoring me too.Edit: I emailed the customer care email below, they asked for some additional information which I gave them and now they are not responding. One of my worst experience. Store is conveniently located right next to Ashley Infact it has an entrance from Ashley. I ordered whole bedroom set thinking it will be at Par with Ashley or any other good furniture store. But I have had one of my worst customer experience. After a wait of one and half month of delivery today my order got delayed for another one month with no promise or any guaranteed delivery date.Store representatives were very rude when I am trying to locate my order. And they don’t want to take any responsibility about the orders. Will never recommend or go back to this store ever.
They were out of everything me and my boyfriend wanted, so we ended up just choosing something so wed have furniture for our new home. Well needless to say 2 and a half months went by and our furniture still hadnt arrived, so we go to get a refund and they tell us they dont give cash back refunds, so we had to wait another 14 business days for a check to arrive before we could get our money back. That I was very unsatisfied with because the day we chose our items they sure didnt have a problem taking cash for payment...smh. Plus, they are too aggressive with their sales techniques, and they follow you around like a hawk circling its food. The whole experience was uncomfortable and unsatisfying. Very disappointed.
Morris is more than happy to contact and talk to you when making a sale. Once your furniture is being delivered and they have you on their payment plan, they could not care less about customer service.Our sectional couch was delivered with different leg heights. One half of the sectional had short fat legs while the other half of the sectional had tall skinny legs. Obviously this makes the couch sit at two different heights.After calling the store, facebooking Morris, leaving reviews, emailing our sales associate, Morris has done absolutely nothing to fix this issue. We were told they need the serial number of the couch to get new legs. There is no serial number anywhere on the couch. You do not need the serial number, just send out the correct legs.We were told they will just send out a whole new couch to fix the issue. We do not need a whole new couch, just send out the correct legs.My wife left a review and was given the general phone number and email of Morris to fix this issue. I do not not want or need that. I need SOMEONE to contact me personally to send out the correct legs. It cannot be that hard to send out the correct legs.Just send out the correct legs.Will not be shopping at Morris in the future if this keeps up.
They had a great selection and treated us well (after we had gotten the run-around at a few other places and had been sittingbon the floor and outdoor furniture for over a month after another area store dropped the ball and gave zero communication). I am not sure why we didnt come here first but we wont make that mistake again! Thaddeus was exceptionally awesome and we cant thank him enough for his help and enthusiasm! It is a difficult time to buy furniture (covid mixed with supply issues) but he handled it well and kept our minds at ease. The delivery team was incredibly fast and came in with a great attitude. Thank you for everything, start to finish. We love our new living room set!
Help in the showroom and assistance before purchasing was great. Purchased a couch, we delivered with no issues except our two piece couch came with different size couch legs. No huge deal, but would rather the two sectionals be the same height.Once we received our couch getting a hold of anyone was impossible. Emailed three people who quickly replied to me before, used their website chat feature, called and left a voice mail (since you are always on hold when you call), and still no resolve. One person responded via email saying that Customer Care will reach out to me but it has been three weeks.It feels clear that they are happy to help you and make a sale, but will ignore you consistently when it comes to anything further.
Had a great experience shopping at Morris Home Furniture. Went in to look at couches, found one, and also bought a cabinet. Delivery of the cabinet was a breeze, love it. Couch is coming soon, Im sure Ill love that as much.
After reading reviews for this company, I decided to add mine to possibly help others in similar situations. I purchased a sofa, love seat, and chair in August from the Springdale location without warning that it could be a delay in getting my order. After waiting two months without any communication from Morris, I finally got a voicemail from someone saying there was an update on my order and to contact the store. I immediately called, and like many others, I waited on hold for a while before I decided to hang up. Previously they had sent me an email with a link to check on my orders progress. When I had originally checked on my order before the voicemail, it said that it would not be delivered before December. After the voicemail, it said that it wouldnt be delivered before February 2021! So, the next day I attempted to call the store again. After another long hold, I hung up with the intent to pay the store a visit. When I got there, I was able to speak to a human, surprisingly. He was the General Manager, and he was very helpful. He told me that hed arrange a refund, because that is what I requested, and that if I had any issues from that point, I could contact him. After 4 or 5 days I sent the GM an email about my refund, but I got no reply. About a week later, I did receive my refund though. I gather from my experience that it may be helpful to go back to the store to actually talk to a person because their customer service and communication is horrible. Also, at least until Covid is contained, avoid shopping with businesses that have difficulty keeping up with the demand. The one bright spot of my personal experience is that I was able to end my relationship with this business before receiving their products. According to other reviewers, that couldve been another problem. Good luck!
Horrible customer service, very bad quality. I ordered a leather couch, it arrived late and has a large chunk of padding under the leather missing on the armrest. The only way to contact them is to go there. I sat on hold on the phone over 45 minutes several times. The product specialist, represented himself as a manager, which seems fraudulent in my opinion, since He is a salesperson. He would only let me take the floor model as a replacement. I have never paid the full price for a floor model, but he would not reduce the price.

I personally will not be shopping at Morris/Ashley furniture anymore and definitely would not recommend any of my friends or family members to shop there.My couch broke about 3 months after I bought it. When it broke I flipped it over to see what was broken. Upon flipping it over I noticed that the black cloth that is under furniture was missing and that the wooden support piece was broken. I tried calling customer service the next day to submit a claim and figure out what I could do but I could never get through to speak with someone. After a week of calling I finally got fed up and went to the Morris store in Tri-County where I originally bought my furniture from and I spoke to the manager who put a word in for me and about 2 hours later I received a call that a technician will come out to my house and inspect the couch in about a weeks time.Fast forward to the day the technician came and I was told he would be arriving between 4pm and 7pm (inconvenient but whatever). The technician ended up showing up at my house around 3:45p with no notification that he was on his way. The technician wasn’t wearing anything that showed he was working for Morris/Ashley. I let him in and he WREAKED of cigarette smoke, and he walked in my house without taking his shoes off or putting on shoe protection and it had just got done raining outside so he tracked in wet rocks and mulch ALL over my living room!!! During the time he was inspecting my couch he would keep saying how horrible it looked and asked why I took off the black cloth that was under the couch and I told him I never took it off that was how I received the couch. After he took pictures and had me sign a form he let me know I would receive a call within the next two days about getting a new couch.Fast forward to 3 days later I call Morris customer service because I NEVER received a call. I was on the phone waiting for someone to answer for 2 HOURS just to speak with a representative just for her to say that my warranty doesn’t cover the damage that they technician reported; and apparently the technician said that I damaged the couch on purpose. Needless to say I am stuck with paying for a broken couch.The Morris/Ashley company would love to talk to you all day about their products but when it comes time to fix and aid their customers with any type of warranty questions they avoid you like the Black Plague .
Just an awful experience, and the nightmare is still not over. We purchased a dining room table with a bench and 4 chairs along with a sideboard to go with it. Upon order, we were told 4 weeks, and it could be longer. Understandable given the impact of COVID on manufacturing. 12 weeks later our table gets delivered, with no chairs. None. Earliest delivery date, 4 weeks. I know 4 weeks will be 12, no thanks. Table is kind of useless without chairs. Sideboard, massive chunks missing, and scratches everywhere! Replacement sideboard sent after hours on hold, and it’s in worse condition than the original! Customer service is impossible to get a hold of. I’ve been on hold for 4+ hours total just be rid of this company and their terrible customer service and product. Think twice before shopping here, it will be tough for me to ever come back.

She measured the sofa and helped me visualize what we were putting together. I’m so excited to see my new sofa. Cheryl helped me build my new CUSTOM sofa that no one else has.

We waited 12 hours on our delivery date only to not get our order. 12 days no kitchen table. Christine and Sonia made it happen. Gave us a discount. We bought more furniture because of them! We love it!

I bought a table and chairs with a bench prior to Thanksgiving. It was delivered the day before and put together by the delivery staff. The bench broke the next day. I called the customer care staff 8 times and I was on hold over 30 min each time!! Once I let it go 50 min with no answer!! This is all over the course of a month! Every time I called the showroom they switched me to customer care!! Finally an employee sent customer care an email and 2 weeks later I received one back. Customer care denied my claim stating it was my fault. They are refusing to replace or repair the bench. Yesterday another piece fell off of it. It was clearly put together wrong or a defective piece of furniture. Now I have to take the time to go to the showroom and hopefully speak with someone who is in charge. I WILL NEVER do business with them again. Oh and I paid extra for the 5 year warranty plan!!! Do not shop here!!!

This place is a complete joke. Ordered a couch and was told to pick it up Tuesday. After being on hold for over 30 minutes, my wife was rudely answered by an employee named Jeff. I immediately left work to comfort Jeff who completely changed his tone obviously. Spoke with a manager who was very accommodating and got us our furniture but one piece wasn’t going to be there for two weeks. Two weeks past and here I am on hold again for 30 more minutes just trying to confirm if my piece is ready to be picked up. If you value your time and money, shop elsewhere. I will never spend another dime here.
We bought a bed for over 5 grand 4 weeks ago. We were promised a 1 week delivery. We are still waiting. On the first scheduled delivery date we moved the old bed out of the bedroom only to be told at 9 PM that no delivery would happen. We had to move it all back. I stayed home from work in the afternoon of the second delivery date. Again no show. Today we were told a 1-5PM window and they delivered and installed 2 bases and ONE mattress. So critical question now is where do we sleep. A service call today and Ashley in customer care basically told me that they could not tell when the second mattress will be here. Poor thing - amazing how CSRs have to bear the brunt of just plain bad management. I am sure the product is outstanding but that should never numb the providers into thinking that anything goes. We have options as customers. As a business school professor who just wants a comfortable night’s sleep I can tell you one thing - this has been one of the worst service experiences I have ever had.
Dont waste your time with this place- the only reason I am giving 2 stars is because our sales guy, Tom, was great. Super helpful, was willing to work with us on some things and gave great advise when it came to choosing colors. We ordered our couch beginning of April. Were told it would take 6-8 weeks and wed receive a more precise time within the week. I had to call to get an update. Right before Memorial Day, I was told my couch was in, so we scheduled the delivery. I took a half day from work and was notified that day that the couch was damaged (half day of work lost). Since then, we have been going back in forth with absolutely no updates. We have talked to 5, 6 different people who all promise a return call with information and yet to receive any update. Every time we call back, the person has no more information than the previous. At this point, Id be amazed to ever see the couch which is sad because I really liked it. Im afraid to cancel it though because who knows if Ill ever see the refund. Its even more frustrating that we have now paid in full for the couch with nothing to show for it and no idea when well ever get it.
Sales people are attentive before you pay, but have been trying to get into contact with morris by phone and email for a couple weeks about our order and they are completely non-responsive. Thinking about going in and pretending to be a new customer to get some service...

Unless you are buying something and taking it with you that day, RUN! Do not walk, RUN from this store. I bought a couch and it was a month past estimated time. I received a damaged couch with two holes. The delivery employees told me to keep it until the company sent me a new one. Tried calling and waiting for customer service is over an hour. For two days. I emailed manager who told me he submitted a claim. Weeks later I hear nothing. I get through to customer service and am lied to by employee saying she has no manager there and later talk to manager who scolds me for not reporting it within three days and said I never should’ve accepted a damaged couch, no matter what THEIR delivery driver told me. I now have to wait 4 more months for a new couch, which she did not promise would happen if I have a single stain on the couch. I’ve been neglected, scolded, and cheated. Worst business I’ve ever experienced. The owners should be ashamed of themselves.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Sold us a defective table that had been pulled from the catalog and then would not replace or refund us when the table started chipping in under a year. Was not able to contact the company or service company for months to use the furniture protection plan. I will never purchase or recommend this company to anyone.

This is the worse experience I have ever had. I got my bed back in August of 2020. We are now in November I have asked for the legs for the slats of my bed 6 times and even went to the store. I have gone to the BBB, and nothing has worked. I had gotten a call saying that they were in and they were sending delivery drivers down to install it. The guys told me they had no legs that the were only told to screw in the slats. Its bad when the delivery guy tells you to go to home depot to go get wood for underneath it. I will never shop here again, I rather rip my own fingernails out before giving them another cent.
Had exactly what I wanted! A little more than what I wanted to spend however I tried out many other stores and this love seat was simply just right. Not to hard, not to soft and I love the power and 5 year warranty!!!

Sales people at Morris are great. Service after the sale is terrible. We purchased a Guardian protection plan for all of our new furniture. We purchased the protection plan because we have grandkids, wood furniture and motorized recliners. We had some damage on our table top. Called guardian. Wouldnt cover the damage because I did not use the term accident. Well, if it wasnt an accident, I am not sure what it was. I wasnt sure how the scratch damage happened and I was honest about that. For future claims, I have now learn to play their political game and I will have a story as to how the accident occurred. Management at Morris wasnt any help either. We ended up spending 250.00 to have the table top repaired.
Worst furniture company I have ever worked with. I spent thousands on furniture and nothing with my order went correct. The sales people are great but the customer service team who handles the issues are terrible. Despite having furniture in my house for 6 months that is still broken they will not give me my money back. They keep saying it will be repaired and the repair company doesn’t even have my address correct. I have asked for Kim from customer service to call me and she will not. Only the reps keep calling and they can’t make the decision to give me a refund. Because I ordered custom items they are making me get them repaired and have done nothing to make this right with me. They keep saying I will be given compensation but will not say what that looks like or what it is. I didn’t buy or pay for broken furniture I paid for new. I don’t want a repaired asset at this point and they will not refund me. I have spent 20+ hours on hold with customer service. They can take their time getting things fixed and don’t care about the customer experience. Do not buy anything from this store you will be disappointed and frustrated.
My fiancé and I went into Morris home on may 18 2020 looking for a bedroom set we spoke with Jeffrey Beach who Helped us pick one out we expressed to him that if they did not have it in stock and shipping would take a long time then we had other options we would like to explore he assured us that my furniture would be there by the next week or by the end of may The end of may arrives still no furniture we call Morris Several times and leave messages only to finally get in contact with Jeffrey after we emailed him and he Called to inform us we had a set delivery day for Wednesday June 17th way later than originally discussed but nonetheless We we’re happy to get a actual day of delivery We wait patiently and two days before our delivery day i confirm for a expected arrival time of 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm we got rid of all of our old furniture and cleaned our carpets the day before and THE FURNITURE NEVER SHOWS UP no call No emails no nothing I check my tracking online 11 pm it’s unavailable to tRack and I only have the option to schedule another delivery for a whole week later!! This experience has been a joke and we have been lied to from the beginning and ran around in circles if you value professionalism and reliability then this place is not for you!!

I had bought multiple items my salesman was very helpful. Unfortunately my dinning room table was missing 2 legs at delivery. I had an issue getting in contact with someone to resolve the problem. Once I met Dominique Bush the Showroom Manager he fixed the situation the following day and he personally drove to KY for the missing pieces. Overall I am happy with the experience and would buy from them again. If you do run into any problems look for Dominique to help.
I had the worst experience ever.I bought a bedroom from them and I took the day of the delivery off .I got king size head board queen size foot board half of vanity spent the next three days trying to find when Im going to get the rest of my stuff, all I got is let me see and Ill get back to you and when the finally delivered the second time still missing and damages parts the third time I got all the pieces but one damaged foot board finally more than a month later they replaced the foot board. And after all of this trouble the still charged me for delivery and didnt give me anything for time and trouble not even a phone call after everything was over
Part 2My furniture was not delivered until 6:49 that evening. Some of the drawers to the dresser had polyurethane in them and some did not. The ones that had the polyurethane in them had painters tape in them. The drawers also had dirt in them that I thought I was getting the floor model. On July 25th, the day I was to received my replacement headboard I received a call from the driver who stated that the headboard that he has is damaged but he was told to still bring it to see if I wanted it. I told the driver that I am not paying for a damage item and that it was no point to coming. I am frustrated by the fact that Morris would load the truck with items that they know are damaged or think that I would be okay with paying for a damaged headboard. Again, this is not the first time that Morris has delivered damage merchandise. I tried calling Morris but was not able to reach anyone, however shortly thereafter I received a call from what I was told was the corporate office. They wanted to set up a third attempt to delivery my headboard. I explained to her that now I have been inconvenience now the second time. I told the lady that they could just come and pick up their furniture. She told me that they could not as the furniture had been in my home 3 days. I explained to her that I did not get the delivery till almost 7PM and the 3 days would be up today at 7PM. She then told me that the 3 days started that day, and it did not matter on the time. I asked her what they were going to do for my inconvenience. . She placed me on hold then she came back and stated that she could give me a store credit for $75 and that was the highest they would go. I told her that was not acceptable and that I would be making some calls. I paid $199 for white glove deliver and in their own words Morris states that white glove service provides the highest level of assembly, inspection and after-purchase service. I paid for white glove service but did not received it.On August 6th I was able to speak with the General Manager at the Florence store. I explained my situation to him, and he stated that he was willing to refund the $199 delivery fee. He stated that he could not process the refund until the headboard has been delivered. Upon hanging up from him I called Morris customer care line but was not able to reach anyone. I have attached documentation of all my attempts of contacting Morris for assistance, but I have not been successful in doing so. I emailed the customer Care which is also attached.I do not understand how Morris tell customers that you have 3 days to contact them but contacting them and speaking with someone has been almost impossible. How is it that they load merchandise not knowing its damaged? I am very frustrated and disappoint customer after making over 30 calls to Morris Furniture. I love my furniture although one is broken and I still have no resolution. The customer service line is awful, you can leave message after message and never get a response. Then you finally stay on hold for 45 minutes to get no where. The price is outrageous for the type of customer service offered in the back end. Sure hope my warranty isn’t going to be through the same customer service line. Stay away there is someone out that that actually cares for your business
